    Meatball sub. Great presentation!
    Ian M.

They've never let me down. Their sandwiches always look like the one you saw on TV that made you get out of the BarcaLounger to go get some füd (if you get that reference we should be friends). The only downside is, and I can't verify if this is true, the restaurant always feels a little sticky...if that makes sense. Kind of like a Popeyes chicken usually feels. I also suspect that the iced tea is a little on the stale side. Just kind of tastes a little old usually. The staff are great, food is well prepared, and location is great.

My charge and order was incorrect.

I do not normally leave reviews as I own a business myself and love good reviews. But this one annoyed me quite honestly. Lesson learned: check your to go order before leaving anywhere these days Long day of work stopped in ordered a large sub and a medium sub to go both the same. Ordered chips drink and a side of Mac and cheese Of course have to get drink and chips yourself Get home...... No pickles with sandwiches No Mac and cheese Called and called no one answers phone. Later finally an answer and they said come back in and get it First of all I am not driving back that far secondly they said bring receipt. I was asked if I wanted receipt and I declined ..... second lesson For this price and I left a tip they could have at least verified the order before handing it to me Glad there are many sub shops in town to patron.

Came in feeling like the beat-on end of a water buffalo and not half as much fun to be around. Wasn't so much hungry as needing something to eat and this place was here. Clean little shop with plenty of seating inside and a few umbrella-ed tables out. Got some parking up front and more out back with doors on both ends. Pretty sure the restrooms are accessible but you absolutely can get to them Took a couple minutes to look over the menu and settled on the Brisket -&- Cheddar plus chips and a shot at the soda-matic. Cashier was pleasant without platitude or pretense which greatly improved my disposition. Food came up shortly, nice and warm and all saucey and briskety on soft fresh bread with a pickle spear. With the Cheetos in the basket it looked and ate like a meal. Sandwich was just a little drippy but not dangerously so; I managed to not soil my shirt while dining. Yea napkins!

Hero Sub- meat put on in chunks instead of layered like a normal sandwich.

When I first ate here years ago it was great. The last few times I've been so disappointed. Not much meat on each sandwich. Ordered 2 sandwiches. Mine was a Club and missing the bacon (comes standard). My husband ordered a Hero and substituted ranch and got vinegar instead. Then when you open the sandwich the meat was plopped on in chunks instead of nicely layered where you'd get all types of meat in one bite. My sandwich was constructed similarly too but not QUITE as blatant as his. They get something wrong every time we order there. At least this last time they were friendly.

No or Slow Service After no service at another restaurant down the street, I decided to give Firehouse Subs a try. This is a new location and in the past, I've generally enjoyed the food at Firehouse Subs and Service is generally pretty good. Walked in and took a look around. There was one gentleman patiently waiting at the end of the counter for his order. I went to the other end of the counter and ordered a #4 Italian and paid my $6.40 for it. Had to be elsewhere in a bit so I ordered it to go. 12 minutes later and still no Sub so I left. The gentleman who was patiently waiting for his order ... he was still patiently waiting for his order. Maybe it's because this is a new locaiton and they have not got their act together but I can not recommend this location to anyone at this time.

Tasty hot subs Engineer was great Medium is about 8 inches; large around 14" Seating a little cramped Only open one week

Asked for no cheese and no mustard

Whole order wrong! Ordered two cups of chili and didn't get it in the bag. Ordered at counter and in person. Specifically told them how I wanted my sub. The customer service was horrible! Not even a hello from any of the three guys behind the counter. They were all on their phones. Bread was stale! Like it was left out or a day old. This was my first and LAST visit to this chain. Don't waste your money!

I wanted to pop in here for 2 reasons #1, I like their hot dogs, and #2, I wanted to take a closer look at the Wiener that Dairi-o uses. We got a 2 hot dog combo, and both dogs were with kraut and mustard. We each grab a dog, I passed on the FF (hate these crinkled boards of non--flavor). This is a very good kraut dog, loaded, really loaded with zesty sauerkraut. The wiener seems about average, probably around 1.6 ounces. Dairi-o's weiner is 100% beef in a natural casing, providing a snap when bitten, and is made to their specifications, they do not purchase a national brand. Like the other newer locations, this is a bright, clean spot up-fitted in retro diner style - open and spacey, plenty of sunlight from the numerous windows. The lot and the drive thru are easily entered, and the lot is spacious.

My husband got the chai cider, the spiced flavor was so amazing it warranted a second pint. We had the Spinach Crab Fondu and the Yuzu Ravioli as appetizers - the cranberry glaze on the ravioli was a delicious touch. I ordered the grilled Chicken Marsala for dinner and really enjoyed the mushroom sauce & potatoes. My husband liked his burger as well. We ended the night with the crème brûlée, which came with fresh strawberries. We were also offered free cookies when we closed out. We ended up ordering 2 fountain drinks, the spinach crab fondue, the seared scallop appetizer, farmers cobb salad, a caprese avocado panini with onion straws and a side of fries, french onion soup, and the espresso creme brulee. First and foremost, the food came out insanely fast. The seared scallops with creamed corn and pesto was fresh and delightful with a great sear. I do wish they were a bit bigger for the price, but it was a nice starter. The spinach crab fondue was so nice and hot when it came out that it was still bubbling. Strong crab flavor, a good portion size and plenty of fresh chips. The farmers Cobb salad had lots of seasoned fried chicken in it, the greens were fresh and the blue cheese dressing was nice and creamy. It even came with a fresh dinner roll. We advised the server we were going to split the panini and she was nice enough to plate them separately putting the onion straws on one and fries on the other. It wasn't so much a panini as it was just a ciabatta sandwich. The bottom bun was soggy as was the bacon but it was still very cheesy and tasty. The fries were hot and fresh and the onion straws weren't greasy and had a nice crunch. The French onion soup was hot and cheesy and was a nice portion. Could have had a bit more onion, but it hit the spot for the price. The espresso creme brulee was very very delicious. Not too sweet, had a great texture and came with a fresh strawberry, however the top could've been a bit hotter. A great way to end the meal. Overall, the meal was $99, which I think is very reasonable. Food came out quickly, tasted hot and fresh and thats exactly what you'd want on a cold day. Will definitely be back to try other menu options.

Most everyone was pleasant, except for one extremely grumpy cashier (but he must have just had a bad day). The food was great. We all had the Value Baskets. The fries were fantastic, hot and super crispy. Both the Buffalo and the Original chicken tenders were tasty and crispy, but the Buffalo just had a faint spice to it, not really Buffalo-ey at all. I had the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and yes, that was wonderfully spicy. I was so happy with that. My son and I swapped bites so I tried his ButterBurger with Cheese. So tender and tasty. Definitely going to order that next time. We forgot about the concretes and cheese curds, adding that to our "want to try list." Both kids had milkshakes to drink, which they loved. First off they put the cheese under the patty which just makes sense! They also wrap it upside down. This is the way. If you know you know. No one does these little things. Thick pickles and onion which seemed like they were freshly chopped. Onion rings came with dipping sauce and were very nice. Curds were like the ones at Zaxbys just better. Price point for my family of 4 was very reasonable. This will be our new stop for burgers and frozen custard.

The screen was showing the special deals and wife decided on the junior bacon cheeseburger being advertised at $1.99 each. I ordered two but when they came up on our order screen they were priced at $5.49 for the 2 plus $4 to add bacon!! This took the price from $3.98 plus tax to $9.49 plus tax. When I informed the order taker of the mistake she said it wasn't a mistake and rudely asked did I want them or not!! Again I told her the screen was advertising them on the $1.99 menu and she was over pricing them to which she repeated Do you want them or not?? At that point I informed her to just cancel the order and I went to a different restaurant. It is no wonder there was only 3 other cars there with rude employees and refusal to honor posted pricing.
