The dining room was very clean and spacious and bright. It was nice to see that they were in the holiday spirit, as they had Christmas music playing . The cashier was very nice. I guess this establishment does not offer trays because our food came in bags even though we told them we were dining in . The burger was small. And although very well assembled, it was very bland and lacked flavor. The fries were pretty good and salted. Their medium drink was huge. My husband seemed to enjoy his meal. Their "hot sauce" Was nothing more than ketchup mixed with pepper. I would not consider this a hot sauce. Overall, I was very underwhelmed and I regret to say that I will not be visiting this establishment again. Sorry Bakers.

Geez I'm sorry YOU got our order wrong haha We stayed positive and did NOT match her negative energy. She obviously needs training in customer service. As for the food, I ordered the veggie chili cheese fries. It may look like dog food but it was great lol No complaints other than the service that was received.

The staff is all friendly and willing to help if you need something like an extra plate or some utensils. The food was definitely the highlight. Maybe because it was made to order but you could taste the cheese as it's just about to melt between the layers of rice cooling down and the meat still resting. It was a good balance of the colder items in the bowl with the ones just prepared. The seasoning was just right as well. Nothing was too salty or overpowering to the point that I needed to get lots of refills at the drink fountain. The decor suggests that the food style is Ensenada inspired. In that case, I will have to try the seafood and baja style at some point. I definitely recommend coming here if you get a chance. And coming back multiple times if you have been here before.

They also skimped out on cabbage and tomatoes on each taco. The tortillas were stiff and overcooked. We also ordered 11 tacos and they only gave us 2 grilled chili's. The only good thing is that they brought back the red and green salsa squeeze bottles. We did get a large beans and they had a burnt taste to them. We used to come to La Bufadora because they were a in between a cheap fish taco and higher end like taco Nazo. Now they are charging taco Nazo prices but skimping out on the fish size and toppings. There are better places for the price.

I have a 10 year old with celiac disease who has a legitimate fear of eating out. He attends food therapy to help ease these fears. I remembered seeing an ad that Firehouse Subs uses Dr. Schar gluten free bread on their sandwiches. This is the brand we use at home so I thought it would be a good place to try. I asked about cross contamination and the person at the register was very knowledgeable and made me feel extremely comfortable about allowing my son to eat here. Most places don't know how to prepare GF food and I have to remind them to change their gloves, clean utensils, etc. This location knew exactly what to do and even used freshly opened ingredients without my prompting. Firehouse Subs has always been one of my favorite places for sandwiches, but my recent experience was a major disappointment.
