I walked in to order and she was gossiping with the other worker about another coworker. Every other word was a cuss word. calling her a "bitch" saying she was a "shit talker." Totally get it for you to be upset about whatever, but for you to do this with 5 customers in the lobby, and for you to do so for us to hear your entire convo is disgusting and disgraceful. The 3 individuals (2 girls 1 guy) working 5/7 @ 8:45 are absolutely kiiiilling it. I believe 1 girl came in just to help them. They are hustling beyond belief. Staying positive and attentive throughout an insane rush of about 10+ mobile orders and dine in customers flooding in. They are out of numerous ingredients which is not their fault and are making the best of this scenario. Sandwiches are consistently great. Good amount of meat on their large sized subs. The employees are also usually friendly and polite .

They gave us a burnt sub, and the manager Alicia was rude on the phone about it she is the worst manager I have ever seen.

Never order delivery here on-line. We ordered 4 HOT subs, 2 potato soups and 2 bags of BBQ chips. It took 2 hours and cost almost $100. Subs were ice cold and the soup and the chips were not what we ordered. This only the second time we used them. Both times they royally screwed up our order. Never again. read more

I should have left when the girl taking my order was scratching her scalp the whole time with long fake nails. Taking orders and then making sandwiches, gross. No hair nets on any of the girls, Long wait time for no reason. The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because The subs weren't the issue. We have gone to this location at least once a month for a few years. Idk if Covid caused them to lose the workers who actually worked or what. This is the 3rd time I've gone in 30 mins after ordering online to find my order not ready. Yet, the 2 girls behind the counter found plenty of time to giggle and chat while doing nothing. Last time they were giggling and when someone asked them where their order was they pretended not to hear them and walked away. Idk if these girls have never been socialized to speak with people, but it was like being at a bad high school party where the "cool kids" think they are much cooler than reality. I get that it's hard to find help but your employees just cost you another customer. There's plenty of sub places in PC ....guess Publix has my biz now. *giggle* read more

Fire house is always my go for subs . Always really good if there is a issue they fix it right away and let you keep the mistake item only happen a few times especially if they are super slammed . I was hungry, they offered gluten free sub rolls, so I gave it a try. To start, they claimed the rolls were MEDIUM, but it was less than 6". I ordered a steak and cheese with peppers and onions. The veggies were the only flavor of the sub. Primarily because the steak was of the worst quality I've ever had with barely any on it. I had to open to the sub to see if they forgot to add the steak! The gluten free roll was soft and reminded me of sourdough bread, so that was the only good part about it. Otherwise, worst sub ever! Let me say this about the employees. Like everywhere else, I imagine it's difficult to find people who want to work these days. So the people working that day were nice folks. But something just wasn't right with the food. It tasted ok, but it seems that the pre-prepared meat was shredded and compressed. It was roast beef mixed with ham, mixed with turkey. Nothing bad to say here. Walked in, was greeted. Assisted in a timely manner. Food came out pretty fast. Looked as advertised. Very filling. And was delicious!! I got a cookie also, and it was delicious. It's a little expensive for a sandwich. But no more expensive than like a Mr. Pickles or any other specialty sandwich shop. I used to love Firehouse subs. Now I look elsewhere, primarily because of the poor service at this location. I've had about 4 orders in the last year, they always mess something up. Double meat? Nah. Side of Capt. Sorenson's sauce? Forgot it. These were TO GO orders, so as you would expect you have to check your bag to be sure it's complete. But.... do you really want to have to check it? NO! I've even been there 20 minutes after placing a TO GO order, being told it would be ready in 15 minutes, only to find out that they just started making it! And the quality just doesn't taste that fresh anymore. Sad that they messed up a good thing, but if you pay the least $ for your workers you'll get what you pay for. Went to firehouse subs for the first time in a very long time and the first thing i noticed when i walked in was the young lady making subs had her long hair down.. first of all, that's unprofessional and unacceptable in the food business. Management seems to be clueless and the store overall feels dirty. The turkey sub i ordered was so small and lacked flavor/meat. Not to mention, they've messed up our subs twice! One of the best fast food places. I always get the engineer sub on white bread and I like it a lot. The only negative thing is that a lot of the times the bread gets sogy when you get the sandwich to go. I typically have a great experience at this location. Friendly staff, always greeted, good food. But the last time that my family and I went at around 8 pm and the told us they were "Out of tea." Which my mom and I knew wasn't true. So she asked if the employee could brew some more. But he told us now and said "Well we usually only have like 4 people come in at this time."
