On the raid decided to stop for dinner. Ordered the critter salad with no or cheese. Yep, the salad came with both. Really?!! I ordered the burger MW. Cooked good. FF were soggy. Waiter took them back to the kitchen. Manager told him to take a basket she handed him. He told these are the same soggy fries. Third time was a charm. Busy restaurant with typical decor. The table next to me ordered the T bone steak MR. This steak came so rare. The guest told the server it was mid rare. Not!!! read more

We decided on Texas Roadhouse for dinner. They were fairly busy and waited about 10-15 minutes before being seated which we got in line ahead of time with their app. Our server Victoria greeted us as soon as we were seated and took our drink orders. We both ordered the $5 margarita special with waters. When our drinks were brought out we ordered our dinners. I ordered the 12oz ribeye steak rare with a salad and baked potato. My husband ordered the 16oz ribeye steak rare with chili and a loaded baked potato. The bar area had plenty of sports on and the music was turned up. Came here last week with a group. First of all all the menus are in the table and stay there so they're dirty and sticky just not clean. The waitress was nice but it's so loud you couldn't hear anything. The food was good, my meat was cooked to my liking. The rolls are always a must. read more

Had the absolute worst country fried steak there last night. Over battered, grease/oil literally dripping from the breading and the meat was full of gristle. Waiter took our orders and never came back until 25 minutes after we finished our meals. I adore Texas Roadhouse. I've eaten at many. I've never been disappointed... until today. My wife and I went to celebrate my birthday. We both got steaks. We had to send them both back 2X. They were SO RAW that they looked like something from an autopsy. On top of that, the meat was stringy and chewy. Not at all what I would expect from that chain. The manager said that it's difficult to tell how the steak is cooked until you cut into it. REALLY? Then you have no business cooking steaks for for a living. Sadly disappointing. I went to this Texas roadhouse at the end of a first date. We both ordered this 6 ounce filet mignon. My steak was perfectly cooked at medium rare, hers had to be sent back to be cooked a little more which happens from time to time. The service was stellar, the french fries were amazing, the baked sweet potato with marshmallows was amazing And the onions and mushrooms that came with my steak were also amazing. I ordered a gin and tonic which was perfectly made.. The only real negative was an odor that smelled like our booth needed to be cleaned a little better. read more

My wife and I both ordered the medallion steak dinner . It usually comes with three pieces . When we received our meal it wasn't what we usually get , my dish had five pieces of cut up steak that looked like cube meat. It looked like they must have used scrapes of meat that were left over . Horrible tasting and fatty. The wife's was the same. Either they ran out of the medallions , and rather then just saying so they served us scrapes of meat . While visiting Florida, we saw that there was a Texas Roadhouse in the area. I have a soft spot for restaurants like Outback Steakhouse and I was super excited to try it out this chain for the first time.  I learned that Texas Roadhouse is known for their warm bread (these were quite tasty and you can get unlimited refills), and that they used to have peanuts in the store in open containers (like Five Guys).  The peanuts are still there but packaged and not as out in the open due to peanut allergies (still a chain to avoid if you have severe peanut allergies though). We ordered the cactus blossom (their version of the blooming onion) and it was everything we wanted and more.  Our group polished this off fairly quickly and the dipping sauce had a sort of tangy horseradish flavor which paired well with the fried onion.  Most of us opted for ribs, one person got salmon and we did various sides and add ons including chili, wild rice, mashed potatoes and a side of their shrimp. The full portion of ribs was quite hearty and most of us had leftovers as a result. The shrimp was grilled well and not overcooked. Sides were pleasant and overall I'd say my expectations were met and we left satisfied and full. This could easily be a spot for two or three people though I think it's more fun coming as a group and sharing sides and appetizers. We got what we came for and I'd visit another Texas Roadhouse when the mood strikes! read more

Been here twice recently and the last time the food was average, time prior above average. Thankfully, the server was good, but the speed of the kitchen was pathetic. It shouldn't take 40 mins to get a meal on the table, especially steak and potatoes. To make matters worse the kabobs were not served on skewers. They were removed or never grilled at all? There was no grill marks. Very sus! To make it worse the kabob meat was cold. When you wait 40 mins for food and its cold, that is just plain sad. I was the only one who got a cold steak, everyone else had hot food. I wouldn't ever order the kabobs again. They brought a filet as a replacement and that was perfect! The rolls and Texas chili were amazing! My sons ribs were good too! Sweet Potato excellent! I really hope things get better here, because theres no excuse for cold food. read more

Gave it another chance. Last two visits our steaks have either been still cold and raw, or beef jerky well done. Ordered beef tips this go around to avoid that issue all together. Ordered with NO mushrooms. Waiter repeated it back correct. After almost an hour waiting, beef tips came with EXTRA mushrooms and no onion! We love Texas Roadhouse and always have a good time. This particular visit we were a little disappointed. The positives far outweighed the negatives though. Our waiter Ryan was amazing. He was super friendly, nice, and very accommodating. The manager made sure we were taken care of and made us feel like if we need anything (and we did) that it would be taken care of. My husband's steak was overcooked. When we said something a new steak was prepared and it was perfect. We appreciated them fixing the problem. I ordered the steakhouse salad like I have done so many times. I felt like it was a bagged salad with a few pieces of meat thrown on it. The steak itself was cooked perfectly, but the side salads had more on them. For $17, it was very disappointing. Just wanted to say eaten at Texas Roadhouse before , I must say this one in palm coast was good , I ordered the Caesar salad as an appetizer it was good plentiful Caesar dressing romaine lettuce was crispy . For Maine course I ordered the 16oz. Fr.Worth Rib eye the steak was juicy tender melt in your mouth flavor. This is a cool spot- a fun place to go with the family where we could get good food at a reasonable price. The burger was so good!! For my husband Bryan's birthday I gifted us a trip to St Augustine to visit his family and his dad took us to our favorite place...TEXAS ROADHOUSE. We love Texas Roadhouse and we were all so excited to get to celebrate Bryan's day/ It was a Wednesday evening and there wasn't a big queue at all, ours in San Diego always has a long wait, our group had 5 people but we were sat right away in such a comfy section. The bread, so fluffy and so tasty, this bread is a lot more fluffy at this location then the one we go to. For appetizers we ordered the sampler plate with rattlesnake bites and tater skins. For our mains, I ordered the 12 oz Fort Worth Ribeye with the house salad and rice while the birthday boy ordered the Country Fried Sirloin. My house salad, was so good, I love that it has eggs, it was so tasty with the blue cheese dressing. Then my steak was perfectly cooked and huge, I don't know if what we're getting back home we're getting skimped because my steak was HUGE and so tasty and perfectly cooked. So we come here often we sit at the bar we love the bartender Stephanie she is always awesome. Our food was great the burger & chicken critters everything was spot on our drinks were tasty. We always order to go food for the rest of our family. We get home and the full rack was old looking like it was 1/2 eaten someone else's food left overs. Of course this is not Stephanie's fault it came boxed up from the kitchen that way. We get home everyone opens the food and says I'm not eating it & how gross and picked over it looked. It was a to go order not left overs of a full rack of ribs my kids won't touch because of how nasty it looks. My husband brings it back they offer to make a new order which is fine. Like I have nothing better to do that sit here all night. I'd say if your eating here it's good but to go seems shady here which is sad because there is not many good places to eat in palm coast & with the people not wanting to work and the help shortage it's not looking good. If everyone is door dashing for work and Uber soon there will be nothing left to door dash or Uber since no one is working then how can they buy food or anything. Update: the new order of ribs were amazing and worth the wait. Not sure what happened there but they definitely made up for it. Kids said they are the best ribs they have had yet. Knocked one star off for the hick up with the to go ribs but I'm sure they will make up for it next time. read more

I usually don't review chains - but this specific location definitely earned all five stars. I haven't really ever had a bad experience at a Texas Roadhouse. They have a great menu, and we love that they are kid friendly. When we arrived and told them we had two kids I heard them discussing how they could accommodate high chair/booster to ensure we didn't have to wait. Rolls of course are always on point. Our server - Brandon - was so pleasant and really made the meal that much more enjoyable. The service was just fantastic from everyone. We live out of town, but we would definitely be regular customers if we lived closer. read more

Gave up on this place long ago, but my husband and I had a gift card to it, so we tried it one last time yesterday evening. Husband ordered chicken fried chicken, and I ordered the salmon dinner. Close to an hour waiting for food when I finally said at almost 8:00 pm that we needed to leave. Waitress packaged the food that had just "come out." On the way home, we had to open the windows to let the fish smell out of our SUV. Once home, we tried to eat. Potatoes were still hard. The fish smelled so fishy that I gave it to my dogs--they loved it. My daughter's kid meal should have had a drink, but the waitress never offered it. Will not return to this location. read more

1) the food was good, other than one steak we ordered : on that note, the steak ordered was supposed to be cooked at medium, it was still mooing. Even after sending it back 2 times, it was still undercooked and extremely red. 2) the service was a 5/10, the waiter was good and very helpful. : Although, the manager was horrible, she was extremely rude and disrespectful. It's almost as if she went out of her way to argue with our table. She should not under any circumstances be able to treat customers like that. I have been to a few Texas Roadhouse restaurants an this is the best one by far. The food is on point an the service spot on. Everything was cooked perfectly an we never lacked for anything. Our server Arron was amazing an always made sure we had what needed. They get busy but the wait isn't that bad depending on when you go. Weekends of course are always busier. You can also pick out your steak if you so choose to. Which is kinda cool. The manager is always walking the floor making sure everyone is happy. Warning don't come here if you don't have over an hour to spend to get your food! Please for the love of God if you can't get food out in a timely manner (less than 30/45 minutes of being seated then please stop seating. They will get you right in and seat you but then you'll wait forever for your food because they simply can't keep up with the volume in the kitchen.
