First time here while vacationing in Palm Springs. Easy to find location shared with other multiple businesses. Plenty of parking. 2 Unisex bathrooms. Indoor and out door seating. Very clean and themed decor. My son and I were greeted with a very friendly helpful face "Anthony". Anthony was very knowledgeable and patient in helping me since I had never eaten at a Firehouse Sub before. I was taken aback by his kindness and outgoing personality. "Lucky" and Anthony both helped my son and so and we left there having had 5 STAR customer service. That my friends goes a long long way in my book. Decided to drop in after doing some shopping. I already have s favorite sandwich place in this area but that doesn't stop me from trying out new places. Wow... Just tried to get sandwiches, door was locked and the young man inside actually looked at me and walked the other way!!! Only when I was back and my car, and the woman inside told him to open up did he come and invite me in... Got made that I wouldn't... I stopped in to pick up a hoagie. I had never been so finding the location and the correct point of egress without GPS was daunting. I am not in this part of the center much. The server/cashier noticed my reluctance and gave me the rundown on the options. After some internal debate I selected the 6" number one (which is the Hook n' Ladder) and a couple of cookies to go. While awaiting the order I walked around a little admiring the décor and the props used to put the bow on the package. When I arrived home I unwrapped the sub only to have it stare back at me open face with the lettuce spreading like jacks that you throw on the floor. I had to reconstruct the torpedo with an obvious GASH in the hull. The food was tasty and the cookies were GREAT. There are a couple of shops I prefer here in town and I recommend that Firehouse employees do a better job of swaddling their babies before they send them out. Maybe I will be back. read more

I just left Firehouse Subs and had about the best veggie sandwich I've had in a long time. It consisted of a fresh wheat roll, avocado, sautéed mushrooms and onions. I'm not really a fan. With all the great reviews I expected that i would be! I got a roast beef with everything. There was nothing appetizing about the look of the roast beef. Overall my sandwich was very bland. I was pretty surprised. Service was nice, the establishment was packed, and clean. My experience just didn't hit the mark. First time visiting this place after seeing numerous commercials on tv. Ordered a roast beef w/avocado, lettuce, tomato on wheat. Sandwich was served warm and was quite delicious! I got the combo which composed of a sandwich, chips & a drink. Love the coke/soda machine!!! It serves 6 different diet coke Flavors alone! It was terrible today. The diner was filthy, the floors were sticking from spilled soda, crumbs or food everywhere and the staff didn't seemed to care if customers ate their food in filth. It was very disappointing since we actually love eating here. Not sure what happened but it was unacceptable. To add insult to everything, it cost $31 for 2 combos!! Very rude Service. To start there's always a roach in there. I think his name was sal long hair tied up. He was very rude yelling at me. He then proceed to take his shirt off and Say "meet me outside" when I explained I am a customer He said "I don't give a fuck I am trying to do this off cameras". This was crazy to me I have never had a worker at a restaurant try to fight me as a customer. Then a bald man came and it told him the situation he did nothing about it he said "he does that" being a manager you need to be more professional. Subs were okay better than Subway. -3 stars for asking me if I want to donate to the firefighters,fighter fighters make plenty of money and have free life insurance and lots of other perks they never tell us about they also live like kings in most fire houses and get food allowances unlike when I was a child, everyone wants a buck for nothing these days but I don't expect that of me when I go out to eat to spend money for an average meal with no table service! My first visit and was very disappointed in the service and food. My husband and I were looking forward to having an Italian Sub (shown on the website). After waiting to have our order taken, (an Italian) the person taking the order had to return to the kitchen 3 times to find out where the order was. After paying $34.48 for two subs and driving back to our resort, I opened up the bag to find two hot and soggy chicken sandwiches. So my husband returned to the location and was told that was the Italian. NOT A SUB! The only thing making it an Italian sandwich was the mozzarella cheese and small bit of basil on it!! We will not return to any Firehouse Subs when customers are so poorly treated and a hot chicken sandwich constitutes an Italian Sub! read more

Great subs, great atmosphere, great customer service. We got 3 large subs shared among my family of five. - BBQ Briskett - Philly Cheesesteak - Meatball All superb, meaty, and delicious. My hubby liked the fact they have an assortment of super spicy hot sauces to pick from ranging from 1 to 10... 10 being 'insanity'. Careful with the sauces, don't let it ruin your perfectly seasoned sandwiches. I did try a drop of #10 Insanity sauce on my sub. And it burned like a mother... I did this near my last bites. Glad I did cuz I wouldn't have been able to literally taste anything after. My mouth and lips burned for a couple of hours. The customer service was friendly and courteous. The establishment was clean and servers inquired if anything was needed. They also have the newer soda filling stations that had lots of soda choices. Only knock off 1/2 a star for the price. For those who frequent good deli places and know the price of quality subs, you would not have problem with Fireehouse Subs. This sub place is a keeper for the family. read more

I tried the Hook & Ladder sandwich which comes with Smoked turkey breast, Virginia honey ham, melted Monterey Jack and served Fully Involved. Fully involved means it has mayo, deli mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a kosher pickle on the side. This sandwich is good in my opinion! Came in with my wife and two Friends was fairly busy. I ordered a Firehouse steamer and my wife a Firehouse hero with added bacon. Subs were ok as with most chain stores skimping on the meat and the bread taking most of the stage. For the meat that was there it did have a good flavor, the bacon was crispy. They have a fancy soda dispenser that allows you to customize your drink with lemon, cherry, raspberry or other flavor. I decided on a vanilla Coke® It came to $7.89 plus tax, which isn't bad for the amount of food that you get. Here's the deal if you have kids - after 4 p.m. kids get their $3.99 combo for only 99 cents, and they can get a little plastic firefighters' hat, too. What a fantastic place to eat at. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Great people working there. And the food is absolutely the best and of the highest quality. You can see that they take pride in their work. My favorite is the meatball sub. Very tasty, perfect amount and blend of meatballs, cheese and marinara.
