The manager was very polite. We had to wait for our order. The manager gave us a full refund for our order and was very apologetic. The food was delicious.

Stopped in here after having a coupon for a sub, I recently have gone vegetarian and I've noticed some sub places don't offer veggie subs. I was happy to learn that they do offer one here so that was a plus. On entering there was no one else here as I arrived early to beat the lunch rush cause they get super busy here. The staff was extremely nice and friendly. The sub was ready very quick less than five minutes. The sub was kinda small and I wish it had more veggies on it but overall it was a good quick lunch. I'd definitely stop back here down the road for lunch next time I'm in the area.

Firehouse subs in Robinson is a pretty solid sub option. I enjoy their offerings and put them a step above Subway but still prefer a Bob's Sub or DiBellas overall. Maybe more in line with Jimmy Johns. And that's not saying there is anything wrong with them. I love Jimmy Johns! The service was very fast and friendly. I ordered from the Medium under $6 menu and got a Cajun Chicken. Not bad at all. It was just about the right size to feel satisfied without feeling stuffed with a chips and drink combo. I especially enjoy the hot sauce bar!!! They have plenty of sauces to spruce up your sub if you'd like. I would highly recommend the Gator Hammock Gator Sauce. I liked it so much that I had to find it to order online. The house sauce is also very likable. Overall price, quality and quantity makes Firehouse a nice option for a sub.

Usually don't have problems at Firehouse subs. I waited 25 minutes on a non-busy Sunday for my sandwiches. I'll give them two stars because the Italian sub was good but I ordered a cheesesteak and I think the pictures explains it all. Just terrible.

My husband and I visited this particular DiBella's Subs in Robinson Township one time. Menu items include submarine sandwiches (e.g., salami, ham, turkey, corned beef, tuna, roast beef, capicola, chicken, cheesesteak, meatball, and veggie), salads (e.g., pasta, macaroni, and potato), and cookies (e.g., chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin). For lunch my husband ordered a 10-inch grilled chicken Philly sandwich. After he paid and had his receipt, an employee asked him if he had ordered a different sub, and he corrected her, and then she dishonestly told another employee that he had "changed" his mind. After many minutes, an employee handed him the correct sandwich. Including tax and tip, it cost about $16. The restaurant contained many tables and chairs, but we got the sandwich as takeout. My husband said that he liked the taste of his grilled chicken Philly sandwich.

There was a time where you could bite into a DiBella's sub and there would be a generous portion of meat on it. Now? Most bites are just a lot of bread and toppings. I have never had an issue with the service here. Unless you consider not loading up the subs part of the service. Everyone is friendly. Because there is so little meat on the subs, I would now consider them too expensive. On a scale of 1-5: Food - 2 Service - 4.5 Price - 2

But then again, I am vegetarian, so I didn't think they offered anything for me. I've looked at the menu online more than once, and didn't see any sandwiches designated vegetarian each time. But I was meeting a friend before a concert on the RMU campus, and this was conveniently located 1 mile away, and it had food and beer. I kept an open mind and figured, I'll just modify one of their sandwiches. When I arrived, I learned they also have a pizza option. But I still thought... when in Rome... There was a black bean option listed on their wall menu, but the waitress double-checked for me and we learned together that they use to offer that option, but no longer do. Damn. There was however a cheese (no meat) option on the menu, which I was surprised wasn't on the online menu. But I'll take it! Their sandwiches are interesting in that instead of sides of french fries and cole slaw, the sides are just stacked into the sandwich to make it a quick easy convenient meal! The draft beer selection was good, the sandwich was decent enough, and the service was great (weekday evening). In the end, I am not sure I'd run back for my one sandwich menu option, maybe I'd try their pizza, or go for some sides, or just stop in for a beer on my way to my next show. I enjoyed the vibe and most everthing about the place, but the sandwich was just okay.

The pizza was not good though. The customer service was pretty decent though. So pops for that.

There was an appetizer that I had never heard of or tried before, so I wanted to try it (similar to a pani puri). I was ordering for takeout, but they said if I wanted this I really should eat it in house immediately because the shell would get soggy and not be as good. I appreciate the tip because I would not have otherwise known that. And I am so glad I ordered it because it was delicious! The combination of the sauces with the shell and contents was a flavor blast. Definitely something I will order again. For the bowl, I did a build your own. They also have pre-designed bowls that might help if you are feeling overwhelmed with the choices. I made mine with white rice, paneer tikka, tiki masala sauce and several of the toppings. The portions were generous and they answered my questions about ingredients and let me sample sauces while I was making my decisions. When I thought about adding something that sounded good, they advised me against it saying it wouldn't work together with what I had already put in (but weren't pushy about it). I appreciated the feedback. The bowl was delicious and filling. I enjoyed every single bite and it was the kind of meal where I was actually sad when it was gone because I enjoyed it that much. We ordered 2 sandwiches at 6:10 PM, the wait was a little longer than anticipated and was ready at 7:00 pm. It smelled mildly "fishy" but it is fish after all. First impression, it did not appear as advertised. It was missing the sauce and lettuce pictured on the website. I took three bites and unfortunately, the fish was hard. It seemed over cooked which may have contributed to the time it took to receive it. The grease also tasted old. The Mac on top was again, overcooked. The French fries were cooked well, but they had so much old bay seasoning and salt it was difficult to eat. I wish this were unique to my order, but I was dinning with three others, all ordering the same thing, and we all had the same complaints. I did request to speak with someone in the kitchen but they said they didn't have time as they were quite busy. The brewery was full and outside seating was also starting to fill so that is understandable. The bartender at strange roots had us write our names on a piece of paper and said the kitchen will refund the meals. I contemplated ordering a burger instead but didn't want to wait again so we did leave to dine elsewhere.

It's not your typical version either--no standard Thousand Island overload. The corned beef was perfectly peppered and packed with flavor, and even the bread stood out. Fish tacos? Absolutely a yes. Fresh, flavorful, and just done right. We split sides--tater tots for one dish and the homemade chips for the other. Always go for the homemade chips here. WOW! We arrived around 4:30pm, we had to park on the street, but there were several spots available. The restaurant is small with a casual interior. We were greeted and seated immediately. The food was good with hearty portions, but our waitress rushed us the entire time. We said we needed a few minutes, because this was our first time here, so she stood there and just... waited. She didn't offer to make any suggestions or ask whether we had any questions, she was just standing inches from the table looking at us. Finally I had to say, "oh, you don't have to wait right here, it'll be at least 5 minutes." Then she left. We ordered an appetizer, two entrees, two non-alcoholic drinks, and two desserts. She never asked whether we wanted dessert, and reached to present the bill while asking if we needed any takeout boxes. I had to interject and ask if we could see a menu for dessert options. The check was placed on our table before dessert arrived, which has never happened to us before at any restaurant we've ever been to. Then, when the desserts were brought to the table, she grabbed the bill presenter and said, "are we good?" I replied, "no, I'll pay when we're done eating." It was odd because we went very early and there were only a few other tables occupied so, I had no idea why we were being rushed the entire time. They also brought my daughter's entree with the wrong side, but they fixed it right away with no fuss. I left a generous tip and didn't report our experience. She was never outright rude to us, but rushing guests at every interaction is uncomfortable and made us feel unwelcome. Overall, this place is good, but if I ever go back, I would insist on a different waitress.
