I'm sorry to leave this review but today my daughter and myself got the worst sandwich I ever had. This was my first experience and unfortunately probably my last. We ordered online and got the steak and cheese. It seemed like they made the sandwich way before the pick up time. The cheese was cold and hard, the bread was so soggy and the sandwich lacked flavor and was just unappetizing. Neither of us were able to eat it and threw it away.

Errand day for this gal. On my way home I stopped in at Firehouse Subs. I've heard good things about it, so It's been on my bucket list of places to try, (variety is the spice of life, right?). I felt welcomed there the minute I walked in. Orders are taken at the cashier station. The person who took my order was very nice. Family friendly. The décor tells it all. Where other places charge more for their meals and give you less, Firehouse does the complete opposite! Sandwiches are reasonably priced, and you won't be disappointed by the portion size of their sandwiches. (See my photo below). I ordered their Italian Sub Sandwich - Medium Size. 1/2 sandwich had plenty of meat. It was so good I ate the whole thing. I couldn't get enough. Bread wasn't soggy, not too much shredded lettuce or Italian Oil dressing. Everything served was fresh and tasty. I recommend Firehouse Subs! Try it! You will love it! Conveniently located in the shopping center at Thousand Oaks Blvd and Westlake Blvd, right by the 101 Freeway. Our Firefighters are our heroes and very giving for those in need. I for one will be dining here again!

Tonight was a return the one of the best sandwich shop chains in Ventura County. I've visited multiple Firehouse Sub locations and all have similar experiences with quality and quantity of food. This location in TO is a little small, but it does offer indoor and outdoor seating. The service is standard and they try hard to keep their restaurant clean. The sandwiches were fresh and tasty and having the hot sauce bar is a treat! Tip: Get the sweet tea and chili. Both are very good and complement each other well.

First time trying out Firehouse Subs. We're long time Jersey Mike's fans. Got the Italian and was wowed! Love that the bread is toasted and they don't stinge on the fillings either. Ordered ahead for pickup via Ubereats (they had a BOGO deal) but server didn't seem to know about my order when I arrived which was odd because the place was empty at that time. They found it eventually. Small store with a few tables inside and some seating outside. In the same strip mall, you can go get some dessert after at Yogurtland or Lt Calf!

It's rare to get a DoorDash order as good as this. We ordered two subs and they were both absolutely delicious. I spoke with the team at the restaurant, and they made sure my order was accurate. Came out perfect. Thank you! It was absolutely delicious.

Good food but the service is pretty bad. Took 35 minutes to get order and others as well were complaining about the length.

Not sure if there is much space for sitting around but they do have some board games. It was literally a bit awkward when we asked for samples because the two servers didn't really seem to be ready to help. My daughter liked the gelato so it's all good. It's tucked away in an unassuming corner with a relaxed outdoor seating area next to a fountain that somehow makes the whole experience feel even better. The flavor lineup balanced classics with more creative combinations, and honestly, everything looked like a home run. Service was good and the gelato itself absolutely delivered Parking? Lot I had: Blackberry Mascarpone (5/5): This was killer. The blackberry brought a deep, jammy sweetness while the mascarpone added this rich, fatty creaminess that rounded everything out beautifully. It tasted layered and balanced instead of just sweet for the sake of being sweet. The kind of flavor that makes you immediately start debating whether getting another scoop is irresponsible or completely justified The Elvis (5/5): Elvis knew what he was doing. Banana, chocolate, and peanut butter sounds like it could go off the rails fast, but this combo absolutely worked. The banana actually tasted real instead of artificial candy flavoring, which immediately elevated the whole thing. Rich, nostalgic, slightly over the top in the best possible way. A genuinely great gelato flavor

The store is beautifully decorated inside and is a hot spot for people to sit and relax while sipping coffee and/or having a treat. We have been patrons for years, and whenever we have a celebration, this is always one of the places we consider. The pastries and cakes are absolutely delicious, artistically presented, and surprisingly light and refreshing. Our favorite is their wild berry yogurt cake, but we have also tried some of their other cakes, including the tiramisu, and have enjoyed them all. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. I recently picked up a birthday cake and had the birthday message written on a chocolate sheet. The whole process took only a few minutes, which was especially convenient. Their cakes come in small, medium, and large sizes. The larger sizes can sell out, so if you need a medium or large cake, it's probably best to order ahead. I recommend this place to all who enjoy a heart healthy treat!

The service was great as well, they were friendly and welcoming and answered all my questions. suggested I definitely I ended up picking up a chocolate and hazelnut cake with an incredibly soft, spongy interior that was perfectly balanced and rich without being overwhelming. I also grabbed a single serving of the blueberry cheesecake, which was light, airy, and still decadently satisfying--definitely worth every spoonful. The rum babas were a standout: bite-sized, soaked in Jamaican rum, filled with Chantilly cream, and topped with a raspberry. So flavorful and unique--each bite was indulgent without being too heavy. And then there was the Velina cake... oh my goodness. A beautiful sponge layered with chocolate mousse and hazelnut mousse, all covered in a glossy dark chocolate glaze. It was so rich and decadent that I had to slow myself down just to fully enjoy every bite. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully made, and worth the drive. I'd absolutely come back again.

It's too bad that this review is only listed under bakeries because there's so much more here. The bakery items are wonderful. My personal favorites are the little individual tiramisu and their chocolate covered coconut balls, which I've never seen any place else. They're huge! All the routine pastries are available and freshly made, as well as as a couple Persian delicacies. Try the cream puffs! But what I also love about this place is their breakfasts. Some of the local breakfast places get too crowded with long rating lines but here you can be seated in a covered shaded area outside or Next door at the restaurant that they're attached to. Some of my favorites are their omelettes and scrambles, and although I can probably make those myself at home, they somehow make them taste better than any place else. I particularly like the vegetable omelette. Of course they have a tasty avocado toast that seems to be a local favorite. The eggs Benedict are perfectly prepared and the.Challah French toast is definitely worth breaking a diet over and what is an excellent breakfast without a great cup of coffee? You can get that here including American coffee, cappuccino, espresso, and even Turkish coffee. I love this place! And if you miss breakfast/brunch time, Maral Cuisine is great for their shish kebabs, salads, and traditional Persian cuisine.

I found this spot online and headed over and Im glad I did. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by the owners, husband and wife team who immediately made me feel welcome. They were eager to walk me through the menu, offered great suggestions, and were incredibly patient while my brain was still waking up at 9am lol. Their kindness and humor made me feel right at home. This place also feels homey. If you take a moment to look around, you'll notice the personal touches such as the artwork, photos, and thoughtful details that tell a story of their family. Okay Now to get to the good stuff the drinks and bites are stellar, here's what I got: I finally found a seriously addicting chai here in the 805. I'm very picky about chai, so when Robin insisted "you're trying this" so I listened and I'm so glad I did haha. Freshly brewed, no artificial flavors, perfectly spiced. I think I would dub this one of the BEST chai's I've ever had. 10/10. Their classic breakfast bites hit the spot too. I had a breakfast sandwich with crispy bacon and a fresh egg. Simple but good. I'd get this again but also would be open to trying some of their other bites. 8/10. The handmade bakery section here was unreal. The apple pastry I ordered was pure nostalgia and absolutely delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more of their daily baked goods. The selection was huge and lots of different options to try. I think their passionfruit pastry will be calling my name next time. Lastly I leave you with a Fun fact: if you're a football fan or into chess, this is your cafe. Chess tables are available for playing at and it's the perfect morning spot to catch matches over coffee and pastries. Liverpool fans especially welcome here ;) Sorry it took me so long to find this spot but they've got a new fan now!
