Although he said he would make an exception this one time, he approached us again while we were waiting outside for our food. We had chosen to sit outside because the restaurant was crowded, loud, and stuffy inside. Despite us not causing any issues, he again insisted that the smoothie could not be on the premises and began explaining that his license could be suspended due to association rules. We politely told him it wasn't a problem and decided to take our food to go. I understand businesses have policies, but the way the situation was handled felt unnecessarily confrontational, especially considering the drink was for a toddler and we had already spent nearly $70 at the restaurant. Between the mediocre food, high prices, and rude customer service, I would not return. There are plenty of better dining options in the area.

We were living in Las Vegas when we first discovered Firehouse Subs. I was excited to see one here in Van Nuys when we came back into town. I have to be honest, this has got to be the best Firehouse I've visited. I'm big on sandwiches, and I'm always in the mood for a good sub, but it's always going to be from Firehouse (preferably this one). The flavors are always fresh (so is the tea, which is a big deal) and the sandwiches are done right. I don't know what they do to them that make them so much better than other locations, but whatever it is, I hope they keep it up! read more

Mistakes happen, but when they're paired with poor customer service and a lack of professionalism, it becomes incredibly frustrating. I enjoy Jersey Mike's food, but the experience at this location has made me reconsider coming back. Management really needs to address the customer service and ensure orders are being prepared correctly. Customers deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and to receive the food they actually ordered!
