This is my favorite subway sandwich place! Try the hook n' ladder it is so good I have ordered it three days in a row. Not ashamed! Can't stop. I also really appreciated you over the phone with customer service and the pickle on the side. Lastly, adding a brownie or chips for just one or two dollars more depending on how much your words is a really good deal. I would never eat at Subway again after I from firestone subs! Thank you!!! Yesterday was my first day trying Firehouse Subs. I should have tried them much sooner! I had the meatball sub & it's the best one I've had in a long time. I was impressed that the melted provolone had oregano & seasoning on top. When I opened the box it smelled delicious and the flavor didn't disappoint. The bread was just right, not overly toasted. The size of the meatballs was perfect. I ordered the small and it was the perfect portion size for my appetite (3 meatballs that were a good size). The marinara sauce was fresh and tasty. Looking forward to trying the roast beef next & maybe the chili. I hope it's not too spicy. The store is clean, and the staff is friendly. The cashier asked me if I wanted to round up my purchase to the nearest dollar to donate to charity. Of course I said yes. Better than Subway and Jersey Mike's! Subs are fantastic but the night staff on 8/5/19 is garbage! I ordered through GrubHub so I wouldn't have to wait. When I got there I stood at the pick up counter for 10mins before being acknowledged. Then when I informed them I have a grub hub pick up they all looked at me like they had no clue, which they didn't and said they didn't see the order! Which is complete bullshit since anyone who works in the service industry that has grubhub knows the app will call the Resturant of the order and you have to physically type in the "Ready Time". Even the app on my end informed me my "order was ready" but they didn't start making it until I was there and not happy! Must have been a ghost that confirmed my order or the asshole behind the counter on their phone, who could've cared less! Put your f#@king phone down kids!!! read more

Okay I'm a huge sub shop fan and since moving to Ventura I've been kind of disappointed that's until me and my boyfriend decided to try this place out! This place is probably up there with my top favorites now. The Ventura one is definitely better than the one in the valley though I learned my lesson there. I ordered through Postmates, and this is my last time ordering EVER!! I ordered two salads, which both came with no dressing. I called to see if I could get help, a "manager" called Ally answered the call... First, she used a fake accent through the whole call, and an awful fake accent at that. Second, probably from the childishness of using the fake accent, she laughed at me the whole call. Third, her pathetic excuse for my concerns was that she was "on break, and she doesn't know anything". Fourth, she told me she doesn't know if orders are double-checked, she "doesn't worry about that". This is absolutely ridiculous. Ordered & paid for 2 subs & told to pick up @ 12:50. Arrived @ 12:50 & someone had taken my order from rack. Employee apologized & said she would remake. Took 45 min for them to remake. I was furious & called Sam the manager. I voiced my complaint & he said he would talk to staff & return my call. He never called back & on top of it they made the wrong sandwich. Service is incredibly slow. I ordered a single small sandwich, and it took almost 30min to get it from the time I ordered. I'm not sure if all the employees were new or if the manager wasn't present but regardless the service here is incredibly slow. It took about 30 minutes just to place my order (only 4 people in front of me) and another 25 for my two sandwiches to be made. I would have gone to subway or jersey mike's but I was already so far from home I decided to wait it out. I'm glad I did as I had never been here before and the sandwiches were absolutely amazing in flavor but i'm not sure if they're worth the hour wait plus the drive. read more

I ordered tonight and was very disappointed. I ordered from grubhub. 2 sandwiches, one chili, a salad and 2 drinks. I received the drinks not even filled to the top, no dressing for the salad, and on top of all this one sandwich was missing. I understand that since it was from grubhud Firehouse had no control over the drink being filled to the top. However, no dressing and one missing sandwich? When we called the employee seem to care less. He half way covered the phone and repeated what I told him "She said they are missing a sandwich and dressing" He came back and said "You need to call gruhub we put it in there" Mind you when we got the bag it was closed and it did not seem that anyone went into the bag. My husband had to get dressed and go get his sandwich. We did call grubhub and they gave us credit. The subs are DELICIOUS I can not stress that enough but the service we got that day was awful. No apologizes. no can we make it up to you. The second time my husband went he came home and they had given him the incorrect sandwich. He went back up to get the correct one and during this time the sandwich maker said "you ordered the wrong sandwich". Before my husband could react the other person who they had given my husband the sandwich too came in to inform them HE had the incorrect sandwich. My husband had his and he had my husbands. They remade both sandwiches and gave my husband a coupon for a medium sandwich for free. Nice of them, the funny part of this is that the coupon expired on February 29th. It was March 3rd this happen. lol. I won't say I wont go again because the sandwiches are amazing but I may go to another location. read more

I go to this Firehouse Subs location 2-3 times a week. The prices are a bit more than average but you get what you pay for. Firehouse Subs does have a rewards program so take advantage if you go here on a regular basis. They also have a couple of sandwiches that are specially priced but variety is definitely recommended. I've had most of the specialty sandwiches on the menu with little customizations here and there and found all of them to be consistently good with high-quality ingredients. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this place over competitors which shall remain nameless. read more

I am so sad. I love the concept of this place and have been to other locations with better results. We order 3 sandwiches to go (only 1 family order ahead of us). The cashier got the order correct, but not only did it take forever every sandwich was made wrong. Of course we did not find out until we got home. We called and they offered to remake them, but we do not live within a few blocks and were not going back. This stores workers seem to not be able to read or follow simple directions that print out from a ticket. It should be so simple! I mobile ordered a Sandwhich yesterday and asked for WHEAT bread ... got WHITE ... ask for it to be a cold sand which and not toasted there's literally a whole button that says NOT TOASTED that was clearly clicked!!!! .. bread WAS toasted meat was HOT.. I asked for NO HAM and to replace the ham with turkey ... Got all ham... I asked for NO MUSTARD and Mayo with oil n vinegar... no oil n vinegar ... got mustard ... they pretty much gave me a sandwich they wanted because it wasn't ANYTHING I ordered ... so of course I'm all the way home now when I find out my sandwich isn't what I ordered AT ALL!!!! With gas $5 a gallon it would have cost me for then that $15 Sandwich to go back and get another one !!! Not to mention the complete waste of my time and gas going there in the first place ... Horrible experience I went here with a friend my friend ordered first then I ordered half way through my friends meal I started wondering where my food was as I proceed to ask the employee behind the counter if they made my food or not I show her the receipt for it and she says oh I probably gave it to someone else. At this point my friend already finished eating. Nobody seemed to care or want to take any accountability for NOT MAKING MY FOOD.
