First of all I walked in and the glorious scent of fresh chocolate chip banana bread hit me. It came out of the over while I was there but I'd already bought banana pudding for dessert. The banana pudding was amazing! I got the Bayside Bowl, swapped out the chicken for steak and asked for it to be spicy (they called me and verified) they added jerk seasoning to it. It was freaking delicious! This joint is going to be on our regular rotation. If you haven't been here then get here. Crabby fries are almost $18 - you get 5 measly shrimp and maybe 1/4 cup of crab. Definitely feel advertising is far more generous than what you get for your money. The best part about it was the sauce. I wouldn't pay the price for it again. Cheesesteak with shrimp also lacked quantity but the quality wasn't as good as the fries. First time trying out Grillriila! Hubby got the Animal House and I got the Safari. We purchased through DoorDash. The only thing that we noticed was that we felt there could've been a little more meat in our sandwiches. Based on the photos online we thought they'd be fuller. This being said-we both agreed that the sandwiches were delicious. Generously seasoned with being too much. The meat was good and no weird chewy pieces. We didn't spring for the fries or extra sides. My wife and I tried this restaurant for lunch for the first time yesterday. It was slightly difficult to find because there was no sign on the storefront only a standup placard out in the parking area in the street in front of the restaurant. Although this restaurant specializes in Caribbean "jerk" style food, dishes, we stuck to ordering just a couple of cheese steak hoagies and two soft drinks. I can only give the cheese steak hoagies a "B" rating because the steak was a little tough, cheese topping was very meager, and there didn't seem to be many if any onions and peppers? On the plus side, the portion size was generous, and the roll was tasty. The restaurant decor is "Spartan" but very neat and clean. The bathroom was spacious and clean. This is an order at the counter restaurant and then they bring your food to you where you are seated. The bill for the two cheesesteak subs, two fountain drinks, tax and a three dollar tip was $34.69.... which I thought was a little steep for two sandwiches and two drinks. I think I might have been able to provide a higher rating if I had tried some of the "jerk" menu items. They offered an "animal House bowl" with shrimp, chicken and steak over a yellow rice that looked especially tasty. Maybe I'll try that one next time. read more

My husband loved the cat fish dinner w rice, fresh green beans and mac&cheese. The crabby fries were delicious and my sandwich with chicken, beef and shrimp was excellent, but slightly dry. My BIL had a salmon bowl/ rice with pickle peppers and caramelized onions that he liked. I put some of his peppers and onions on my sandwich- delicious. I wish they were open more. I spotted this place and the friendly couple working there were very inviting. I went here multiple times while I was staying in town. I didn't make it to the sandwich selections but got various rice bowls. I got the jerk salmon with shrimp and the jerk chicken with shrimp and whichever protein you get sits atop the yellow rice, drizzled with their inhouse sauce. I enjoyed the meal and even would buy an extra one so I could have it the next day if they happened to be closed. I recommended checking them out when in Hanover, PA. This restaurant sits in the Markets on Broadway. It has limited hours like the rest of the businesses. Their menu is a bit limited. But to be fair they are specializing in sandwiches etc. I have walked by this place dozens of times. Today i tried it. Of course the sub i tried i can't remember the name of it. But it was amazingly good. It had steak,shrimp chicken and cheese and more. I was not sure i was going to like that combination. Im sure glad i try it Service was good and friendly. I'm so grateful they were added to doordash. We've ordered them a handful of times. My girlfriend says they have the best cheesesteak she's ever had (it's pretty damn good, I had a bite. This was another Yelp find on our trip through pretzel country. We had sopped by the Snyder's store (another place I highly recommend if you want/need snacks) and were looking for a place for lunch. Stopped in here based on the handful of reviews on Yelp but more reviews on Google. This place is a booth in a larger market, so there are no signs on the outside of the building that make it clear that the place is inside (along with many other food stalls that also looked very interesting). Service was very friendly and the food was delicious. I had the jerk chicken tacos and my wife had the jerk shrimp tacos. Plenty of food in both and the flavors were very good. I especially liked the pineapple in my tacos. We don't live anywhere near the area, but if we come back to Hanover, I would definitely return here to eat. read more
