We go often and have NEVER had a bad meal, The staff is GREAT. This is one of our go to places for a nice dinner out.

Coming to Fireside has always been a treat for us since we heard about it from one of our friends many years back. We've made this stop on a year-to-year basis and the menu has quite a variety from burgers to ribs to name a few. The Tri-Tip Roast and Ribs are their most famous. An updated review is well needed since our last couple of visits as we've noticed quite a bit of change which includes renovation (not an issue, but do miss the original), the portions, and the food quality isn't the same as it use to be. For instance, the fries I got with my burger weren't enough compared to the past, and also the flavoring on the ribs was a bit dried out. I'm not sure if it has to do with the changes of chefs or whatnot, but it seems like restaurants that have been around for a while just start to fade. Service is always great and that's never been a complaint of ours.

This was a find off of yelp as we were driving north. But the sandwiches were delicious and had many choices for sides. Quick service and giants sodas were also appreciated.

Tri-tip sliders - it's actually a sandwich cut into 3 pieces, but still good.

Fireside is a great combination of a rustic atmosphere, good service, and very well prepared BBQ. Dining here is both relaxing and satisfying. I can't say that their BBQ sauce is among the most memorable I've had, but the meats are just so well prepared it doesn't matter. During the evening we sampled the tri-tip, the baby back ribs, the pulled pork, and the BBQ half-chicken - there was no fat, no gristle, just very tender meat. Even the chicken was fall-off-the-bone. I really liked the peanut slaw too, not only for the texture of the peanuts but the hint of sesame oil. Service was friendly, and we were checked on frequently. My one disappointment is that their online wine list had a Finger Lakes wine - Red Newt - I was hoping to enjoy, but it was not on their current wine list (so the online wine list is probably out of date), but I found another Finger Lakes Riesling just as good. I've driven by Fireside many times over the years. It took way too long to make the first visit; it won't take anywhere near as long to return.

No mask, no gloves, no social distancing? How inconsiderate of their patrons! Won't be going back despite that the food is good.

I got the chicken fajitas and my dad got the beef stew. Both were generous portions -- the chicken and veggies were perfectly cooked and I have 1-2 meals worth of leftovers. The homemade tortillas were the best I've ever had. The hot sauce was fantastic too (unsure if made in house or not). Wanted to note that they now serve alcohol, as another reviewer mentioned they didn't. They have a full dining room plus a bar area, and both are equally nice. We went on a weekday evening and the place was fairly empty. Please do yourself a favor and check them out!

It's a bit off the main street traffic and not advertised as they should. We were in the mood to try something new so decided to give this place a shot on a Friday night. The place was completely empty and I was a bit worried that this is not going to be a good meal. Once seated, the waiter brought a basket of tortillas chips and salsa to the table. My kids immediately attacked it. The salsa was not spicy so they really enjoyed it. A quick look at the menu we realized they don't serve alcohol, a bit disappointed but not a deal breaker. They did have many Virgin drinks such as sangria, Pina colada, Margarita, etc. I found their menu to be a bit all over the place. They have a Spanish section but also have burgers and sandwiches as well as Italian pasta dishes. Their appetizer also contains taco bowls and burritos which should be in main dish section?! The soup are also quite expensive, but maybe because they are big portions? The menu also don't give much description for the Spanish food (I'm no expert), so we made our orders and hoped for the best. The kids wanted milkshakes and I asked the waiter to split 1 order into 2 cups so they can share it. He was super nice to do so without charging extra. As the dishes come out, our worries were put to ease. Everything was absolutely delicious. Hubby had the shrimp sauteed (Camarones Saltados), big portions with a side of rice and salad. It was light and well seasoned, the rice were also very flavorful. I had the Mexican stew, which was tender pork in tomato based soup with fresh onions, lettuce and avocado on top. Comes with tortillas chips, green dipping sauce (guacamole-like, but not as thick), and a very spicy hot sauce (which I ended up adding to the soup as it was absolutely yum), and a side of rice. My daughter ordered the Garlic shrimp - she opt for mashed potatoes on the side. I was surprised to find the garlic shrimp was in a creamy sauce, but it was so good! I want to take that sauce home and add rice or pasta to it!! You can tell that the mashed potatoes were made from real potatoes. It has nice chunks to it and the color is slightly yellow. So good! My son had the calamari and it was served on a bed salad with lettuce, tomato, radish, and banana peppers. The creamy dipping sauce was so good too. We really wanted dessert but was so full from dinner that we'll have to plan better next time. All in all, great place with top notch food. I would give the food 5 but knocked 1 down due to no alcohol. We will definitely come back to try more dishes!!

We booked dinner for my daughter's birthday and chose a Sunday specifically so we could try the fried chicken which is only served on Sundays. The restaurant is located in a house in a mostly residential area, with a large parking lot across the street. We had a reservation and were greeted and seated immediately in one of the booths with glass dividers on 3 sides - it felt almost like being inside a terrarium. The overall atmosphere is warm and cozy - leaning towards a modernized Victorian feel with lots of dark wood and dark furnishings. This would be a nice place to take a date if you're looking for an intimate atmosphere. Our party all ordered the fried chicken - which, really, we could have split one and just added some appetizers to feed all three of us. There is easily half a chicken on each plate. The chicken was super crispy, not greasy at all and still moist inside, truly excellent! Sadly the sides of mashed potatoes and coleslaw were just average at best. The mashed potatoes in particular were disappointingly tasteless and slightly lumpy which cost the dish a star in our ratings. We opted just to share an apple tarte tatin for dessert and the staff dressed it up with a birthday candle for us. Service was unobtrusive to the point where we had to flag down a waiter for more water. Overall, a good but not amazing meal.

You order at the register and take your very large portioned plates wherever you'd like to sit. There are quite a few baked goods right at the register which looked great but I restrained myself, this time. I ordered the 4 rib platter which came with two sides. I got the mac & cheese and pickled beets. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and had good flavor. They give you a side of BBQ sauce in case you wanted some. The mac & cheese seemed like it was baked which is a plus for me. The only drawback is that it needed a little more flavor. Maybe a sharper, more flavorful cheese would help. I just put some salt and pepper on it and that helped a ton. The pickled beets were as expected - and I love beets! The platter also comes with a mini cornbread LOAF! Seriously, it's a good size mini. It was delicious, slightly sweet, and contained corn kernels. Also, a side of sliced pickles come with the platter and any sandwich. We were warned that they were spicy today and that was the truth! It was a bit over $40 for so much good food. We had to box up some of the food and it can definitely feed another person. Also, service was friendly and fast. I'd come back to try more items - probably including one of those baked goods :)
