Had just gotten into town and needed a bite before the afternoon & evening festivities. Not a lot of restaurants were open in the Village, but Fireside was open and buzzing with activity. Although the rest of our party had not arrived, they sat us immediately in a booth. Variety of beer and wine. I started with a Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay. As for an appetizer , we chose the Hummus, Feta & Olives. Very good and eaten quickly by the group. As for a pizza, we ordered the Fireside Pizza. Italian sausage, pepperoni, peppers, onions & portabello mushrooms. This hit the spot for the group. Finally, staff was friendly and efficient. Quick with water refills, drinks and the food. Really great pizza! If you find yourself in Tahoe, highly recommend this place. We got the Pear & Walnut Salad, BBQ Chicken Pizza and Fire Roasted Medley. The salad was great--balsamic sauce wasn't too overdone and the pear and candied walnuts paired wonderfully with the balsamic. The BBQ Chicken was tasty too. I personally preferred the Fire Roasted Medley because the BBQ sauce was a little sweet, but the pizza was delicious nonetheless. The cheese on the BBQ chicken was fantastic. Perfectly melted and went so well with the BBQ sauce. The Fire Medley is a great vegetarian option. Lots of tomatoes!! Had a super fresh / clean taste. The dough on both of the pizzas was incredible. In Lake Tahoe for vacation and decided to stop here for dinner tonight since we were craving pizza. I got the blanco personal pizza and it was delish, but the real star of the show was my husband's BBQ chicken personal pizza (we swapped slices, so I loved getting to try it). We LOVE Fireside Pizza! We keep coming back for their delicious pear pizza but really love everything on the menu. It's one of our very favorite pizza places in the world. Most recently, we were lucky enough to hold our rehearsal dinner at Fireside - manager Steven went out of his way to make our event everything we hoped it would be! He was incredibly kind, communicative, and attentive throughout our planning process, and we really enjoyed his presence on the day of the event. Our guests raved about the food, too! We stopped in here for lunch after a long hike. Every restaurant in the area was packed, but Fireside was able to get us a table right away. We started by splitting a large Caesar salad. There was more than enough for two people to share and it met our need for food as quickly as possible. My husband ordered the personal sized Big Mountain pizza which was as described, loaded with meat. It was really again and the personal size was indeed a good amount of pizza for one person. I ordered the special, the Buffalo Chicken pizza in a personal size. It was really good. The buffalo sauce didn't overwhelm the other flavors and I liked that they were tomatoes and onions on top. A bit on the pricey side but well... it is Tahoe. I suppose I shouldn't be crazy about it. They had a decent beer selection and my compatriots had ordered beers and pizza while I got a salad. The service is friendly and semi attentive. I drink a lot of water and once we got our food we would only occasionally see people come by. I had ordered a large greek salad. It is decent sized but not crazy large by any means. I have a feeling that veggies in large quantities just aren't a thing in the area cuz I had some issues at another restaurant later. The citrus dressing is nice and light but overall there wasn't enough substance. Not for 13 anyway. Assuredly I was still quite hungry after. Still a nice go to spot though for the village. This is hands-down the very best pizza in all of Tahoe as far as I am concerned! And! They have an excellent gluten-free crust that is almost better than their regular crust! I've never had gluten-free crust taste so amazing! They have several gluten free appetizer options including a bread that is like breadsticks with marinara dip and they offer an excellent olives & hummus plate that can come with gluten-free bread if you order it that way too! They also have excellent gluten-free pasta options that are out of this world amazing! Their servers are all friendly and I've always had a great experience. Last week our server, Dylan, took excellent care of us and even made a few suggestions that we took her up on that ended up being incredible! I can't wait to go back! read more

We are staying at the Resort at Squaw for a marriage retreat and the group decided to go to Fireside Pizza for lunch. There were about 90 people at different tables and the staff handled it amazingly. They were patient, friendly and helpful. It was a surprise to them for us to all be them but they welcomed us. Should have ordered it whiskey like how it's suppose to be. But the cocktails were refreshing and good. We tried the personal Fireside Pizza and the Italian Herb Shrimp Pasta. The pizza was super good and solid. And the pasta was way better than what I had at a restaurant at Squaw Creek Resort. Which is shocking! It has so much more flavor and better balance. I got the Fireside Pizza -- onions, peppers, mushrooms, sausage and pepperoni. The pizza was amazing. Perfect thin crust crooked to perfectly crunchy. Nice sauce to cheese ratio. Plus all the topics were perfectly balanced. The menu offers more than just pizza appetizers from wings to hummus, soups & salads, and a kid's menu. Plus there's a lot of seasonal items on the menu. Yes they have dessert but I was too stuffed with pizza to try it. Tons of seating options -- bar, tables, picnic tables, and al fresco dinning. Bad service. Came in with my family when it wasn't yet bustling, around 3pm, place was almost half empty. Waited for 40 min on our table for our order to be taken. Told 3 staffs that we were ready to order but was told ok every time. 4 groups came after us but were already served immediately after sitting down. No one even offered us water. We were not rude at all, we smiled and were polite, I hate to think that the color of our skin was a factor, but couldn't think of any explanation. What a shame. read more

The venue isn't huge but they have large booths/tables that can accomodate large parties if you decided to go with a lot of people. The food was very delicious, if im ever in Squaw Valley again I will definitely be stopping by here. Price: Considering that this is in the heart of a resort, the prices are expected. Excellent and fast service, which is what you want when you come in hungry, after a day of skiing. The pizza is wonderful- not greasy, wonderful crust, wonderful flavor!
