We got the Medium Fireside Pizza without mushroom and it was delicious! So was the Greek Salad. Clean restaurant, quick service. We sat and played cards while we ate. Recommend!

This is a great pizza place to enjoy while in the Olympic Village at Palisades Ski Resort. Indoor and outdoor dining is available, but the place to be is outside with beautiful views of the mountains. The patio is dog friendly. There were several dogs there while we had lunch. We enjoyed our dining experience so much because of the lively atmosphere and wonderful friendly service. The pizza was delicious with a crisp crust and fresh toppings. We especially enjoyed the Fireside combo pizza and the hummus olive and feta appetizer.

Easy to find, group friendly and delicious food with a capital'D'! Homemade and Warm pita bread, yummy and shareable dish. The pizza is gooey, nice crust and delicious pizza and a day of skiing! You cannot go wrong here. Enjoy!

Fireside Pizza: A Tahoe Favorite! We're repeat visitors to Fireside Pizza in the Olympic Village, Palisades Lake Tahoe, and we're thrilled to report that it still delivers! We celebrated our daughter's birthday here two years ago, and this time we brought two more families along. The vibe is still lively and inviting, with cozy indoor seating and gorgeous outdoor options (weather permitting). The service was top-notch, with friendly and efficient staff handling our party of eight with ease. We waited just 10 minutes for a table, and the wait was worth it! Appetizers: - Pear and Walnut Salad: AMAZING, with candied walnuts, goat cheese, and a perfect balance of flavors - Lodge Chicken Wings: BAKED TO PERFECTION, with a delicious buffalo sauce Main Course: - Large Pizza (half-and-half): MEDiterranean and Thai Curry pizzas, both were OUT OF THIS WORLD, with incredible flavors and a perfect crust - Personal Cheese Pizza (kids' choice): DELICIOUS and cooked to perfection - Italian Herb Shrimp Penne: CREAMY, flavorful, and loaded with fresh herbs and parmesan cheese Drinks: - West Coast Haze IPA (50/50): CRISP, COLD, and PERFECTLY PAIRED with the meal Desserts: - Oven-Baked Chocolate Chip Cookie: DIVINE, with warm cookie and cold vanilla ice cream - Brownie: RICH, fudgey, and paired perfectly with vanilla ice cream Tips: - Must-try: The pizzas, especially the Mediterranean and Thai Curry combo! - Great spot for families and groups Fireside Pizza is a Tahoe gem, and we'll be back for more!

The pizza was good if one enjoys thin crust and minimal sauce. I liked the fire-roasted peppers and onions as the toppings. The fries were good and the chicken tenders were okay (primarily got for the toddler who ended up not quite taking a fancy to it as it was too crunchy/hard). I was originally going to put four stars until I learned even with take-out, there's an 18% take-out tax (I understand gratuity tip when dining in for the service, but first time seeing a take out tax) so deducted a star as a result.

3 stars for Chicken Wings, to go, I was not impressed. Solid portion size. I ate them all, yet nothing unique or fancy about them. I do enjoy the pizza options and salads.

This is a perfect place to grab lunch while on the mountain at palisades! We had a perfect lunch with a large group. They have ample seating and wonderful service! Was not too busy at approximately 11:30 but as more people came down for lunch, it did pick up. Large pizza was big and fed 3-4 people. The menu does say it has 10 slices but it actually has eight! They were so kind to give some fun toys to our toddlers to keep them entertained while we enjoyed our food! We will be stopping to get this delicious pizza next ski trip Also, their fountain drinks & water cups are very large, which was so appreciated!!

The workers are very accommodating and super nice! The pizza here is so good and I love the options! I also love the booths in the restaurant it's self it feels very cozy!

Large pizza, don't judge. I love pineapple, pepperoni and jalapeños!

Service was great, friendly and helpful. Pizza was hot, the crust was thin and I like it extra crispy! My husband said it was bomb. My boys doing not like think crust so that was their only complaint. They hey all loved the wings. They ordered buffalo sauce wings and they liked the sweet undertone. My teenager said, "The wings were gas" the ambiance was awesome. Just look at the pictures! It was a cute Pizza Hut with a beautiful view of the river. Definitely recommend.

Service is quick and seated indoors but outside is an option on a Monday in the summer. Not sure how it is on weekends and winter. Plenty of parking in the Palisades lot. Pizza is thin crust not my fav but everyone loved it. However the Greek salad with chicken was legend! Get the olives on it you won't be disappointed. Sadly I didn't get any artichoke hearts as advertised. Drinks are huge glasses for soda and water so we don't need refills! Happy Hour is pretty good and starts at 2pm which is insanely awesome if you're on vacation. Inside has some cool art work on the walls and chill vibe.

Thai Curry Pizza is a favorite, I get it every time! It's a unique twist to pizza & tasted better than I expected. It's a sweet curry sauce base, the chicken can be a little dry but the veggies & lime juice makes it refreshing. Fireside Pizza is a classic, I feel like you can't go wrong with this. A side of ranch enhances the pizza but not a must. One large pizza is enough to feed 4 people, and two large pizzas will give you plenty of leftovers. The pastas are pretty good too - Italian herb shrimp penne if you're craving creamy & heavier flavors. Spaghetti Bolognese for a classic red sauce pasta. It is expensive but I think it's one of the more worth it dining options at the village considering how expensive resort meals are. There's indoor and outdoor seating. They get busy on the weekends so expect a wait time for dining in & slower service during dinner rush. You can always opt for take out as well.

Great pizza!!! We had the fire roasted bell pepper pizza and it was delicious. A young man (clearly new to the job) started serving us and then he got busy with a large group so a lovely lady helped us. No snow in the area so many shops and restaurants in the village were closed but the pizza crew appreciated our business. Great ambiance and love the village vibe.

We ordered and chose our own toppings 3 different type of cheese. And arugula and pesto base. The crust were think and chewy. But it was hard the next day. The kept the arugula on the side for our to go order which was really smart of them. But I would say what we built was really good flavoring. Expensive tho for medium which comes with roughly 8 slices.

Seriously a 10/10 experience, and the biggest shoutout to Alex!…read more All of my friends ordered pizza and were literally saying it was some of the best pizza they've ever had. I have celiac disease, so I originally said I wasn't going to eat because I'm always really nervous about cross contamination. Alex immediately went above and beyond to make sure I didn't have to miss out. He was SO kind and accommodating, took my concerns seriously, and personally made me a gluten free pizza so I could enjoy dinner with everyone else. It honestly meant so much to me because eating out with celiac can be stressful, and Alex made me feel completely cared for instead of like I was being difficult or an inconvenience. And the pizza was AMAZING!! Between how much my friends loved theirs and how incredible Alex was with me, we couldn't have had a better experience. Amazing food, even better hospitality, and just genuinely good people. Thank you, Alex, for taking such good care of us!! We will absolutely be back.

I liked that the pizza had a little bit of crisp to the bottom. If you order something not by the slice, plan on waiting 15-15+ min for it. We ordered the "garlic chips", which was this ridiculously huge pizza with no sauce and just garlic and cheese. Kids delight! Be prepared to sit at a long long picnic table with other people. There are also some marijuana referenced shirts/album covers (I can't remember what specifically) that I didn't really enjoy my kids being around. All in all we will def return for quick pizza and shuffle board. They also have an ice cream place attached!

The menu seemed pretentious but interesting. One of us got up to order our drinks and an appetizer, the bartender explained that they only have local liquor and beer. We got our drinks and thought the "local" alcohol wasn't that good, but we were hoping the food would impress us. When a server brought out our appetizer, she put on the table and quickly walked away. We had no plates or utensils, so we weren't sure how to eat it. One of us went up and politely asked the bartender if we could get some utensils and plates. The bartender said utensils were in an unmarked bin near the water dispenser and someone would bring out some plates. When we grabbed napkins and utensils and the plates arrived we were all excited to try our appetizer and dug in. The bartender brought over one more drink for our table and noticed that we hadn't lifted the single sheet simple paper menus from our table before putting our appetizer pates down on them. He got very aggressive and told us that they were menus and not placemats and if we didn't immediately pick the up he would have to remove them. He said we could keep them if we protected them from our food. At that point I informed him that he could take the menus because we would not be eating there. I worked in restaurants for years and never have been treated in such an aggressive and dismissive way. I love small, locally owned restaurants and hope they can work out their personnel issues.

Three Sheets Brewing Company - Great Service, Underwhelming Food…read more We visited Three Sheets Brewing Company hoping for a satisfying meal and some craft brews, but walked away feeling a bit underwhelmed -- with a few highlights and several misses. Food: The biggest disappointment was the hamburger, which we ordered medium-rare but received well-done. It was dry, overcooked, and lacked any real flavor -- honestly, we wouldn't order it again. The pulled pork sandwich had decent taste, though it was on the dry side and could've used more BBQ sauce to bring it to life. The shrimp were fine but forgettable. The seafood bisque was probably the best thing we had -- rich and creamy with a nice depth of flavor. The crab cakes had good seasoning but were a bit soggy on the outside. We also ordered fries, but they never made it to the table, which was frustrating. Drinks: We tried two of their house beers, and while drinkable, they were just average -- nothing that stood out or made us want to order a second round. Service: On the bright side, our waitress was very pleasant and attentive, doing her best despite the kitchen issues. Her friendly service helped soften the experience. Final Thoughts: While the vibe is relaxed and the service was great, the food execution and beer quality didn't quite deliver. There's potential here, but it needs more consistency -- and attention to detail -- to be worth a return visit.
