Like other reviewers have mentioned, this place was previously known as Wingdome until it was recently bought by new owners. I was never really a fan of Wingdome the few times I ate there. It had that grungy, hole-in-the-wall feel and the food was gross. Their wings were overpriced and lacking in flavor. I ate at this updated place a few nights ago, and there have been quite a few staff and decor changes, as well as a minor upgrade in the quality of food. The wings are still overpriced and on the small-ish side, and taste and flavor varies depending on who's cooking that night. I had wings from them over the weekend and they were pretty good. A few days later I had the same type of wings and they were not so good. The fries I had were soggy and tasted weird. Overall I feel like there's lots of improvements needed to make this place awesome. You can get better wings and food at the Walmart deli. read more

Decided to try Fire Starter for the Seahawks/Rams game. They were nice enough to let us order breakfast even though it was a few minutes past 1pm. I had the Chicken Fried Steak which was decent. The hash browns on the other hand were awful. I also tried the Mac & Cheese later and it was delicious. Service was good, but slow. They only had two servers/bartenders for the whole place. They probably should have had one more for the volume. They were friendly. They do a $3 drink special with each Seahawks touchdown. That was pretty cool. read more

I feel like home. The owners are personal and they pour their heart into their new business. The prices are reasonable and the food is good! The stuffed hash-browns are awesome!! Not the restaurant we expected from reviews and menu... definitely a bar first, the only reason they are even getting 1 star is because the drinks weren't terrible... The food and service on the other, horrible! Food took over 35 minutes and we were the only folks there eating (should have been our first red flag). Food arrived cold and burgers beyond well done. Over salted everything! Server spilled an entire tray of large water cups on my friend, on her phone and the entire table. Cleaned the floor with smelly lysol and water, the smell over powered the entire eating area. Bill came and NO discount or comp for the friend that got drenched, server didn't even come back to deliver/collect checks, sent a different server. Not a place I'll ever go to again. read more

We met 2 friends of ours who seem to like this place to watch the Seahawks get killed by Green Bay..The waitress walks up and says "what are you drinking!?" emphasis on "you" in the rudest tone possible. I was turned off by that totally. I had been there before once with same friends but don't remember the rude waitress. The food is actually good and good size portions. I go to a lot of junkyards and the workers dress better there than this place. They give $3 shots when the Seahawks score a touchdown which is fun if they score. They also give away raffle prizes during the game...So I guess I'm saying loose the sorry waitress...please! Oh, the atmosphere in this bar seems to draw all the shady MF's in the neighborhood. I have been in twice now, their food is great. I haven't tried anything that wasn't delicious. The pepper garlic wings are super good. My friend ordered the Cajun burger, put a chicken patty on it, and asked for the pepper garlic sauce on it and holy mouth orgasm, hands down the best sandwich I've ever eaten in a bar or burger restaurant ever. I don't like potato skins much, their skins are delicious. Perfect amount of potato without feeling like you are eating just a skin. I drizzled the ranch and bam! So good. Shannon and Rashey are super awesome. The environment is fun. At one point I had realized my phone was at 2% and I had a 1 year old baby at home. Being unreachable isn't an option so I got ready to sit in my car and charge it. They keep mobile chargers behind the bar and allow guests to use them. More places need to do this! Absolutely fantastic place! I've been here many times and it has become my favorite Saturday night hangout. Super clean, family friendly atmosphere. Bartenders are attentive and genuinely nice. They remember you and what you drink when you walk in. I have food allergies and they do an awesome job making sure I get exactly what I ordered without me having to worry about eating what I shouldn't. Food is excellent with some Gluten Free options. The gluten free Mac and Cheese is to die for. Wings are a delightful messy experience. . Finger licking good! They have two pool tables, darts and Touch Tunes music box. We have been several times now since we live just down the street, and everything we have tried here has been on point. The stuffed hash browns are a must for breakfast, along with a $4 mimosa or Bloody Mary (they make them nice and spicy!). The Cobb salad is one of the best I have ever had, and the Mac n cheese is to die for (add bacon and ask for the ghost pepper salt). It's a great place to watch football on Sunday mornings. The wings are fine... but to call them "pricy" would be an understatement. We're talking freakin' wings here... not Fillet freakin' Mignon. I just paid $20 for 10 wings. This was previously a Wingdome which makes a comparison unavoidable in some respects. I'm sure fans of both can make a solid case... the quality of both being similar. FS, however, is doubly expensive. I've tended bar previously and, well... I go to a lot of bars...and 2$ per chicken wing is nutty. Upscale joints have specialty wings on their App menus occasionally. Wild Orchid will, for example but I expect that there. Hell, more power to FS... I hope they're making a killing with those margins... but not worth it imo. read more

I ordered an appetizer, you know the food you get before your regular meal. I got it with my meal at the bar I took up 1/4 of the entire thing with my baskets of food. The kindling or fried cheese was tooooooo big. I ordered the burger I got medium rare, because I was asked what temp. I got it gray all the way through no pink!! The place was slow but my food took forever, but I noticed the cook had a ton of time to come out front to talk or I guess flirt with the rest of the staff. Really more like sub-meh. This was a tough review to write. It seems they have all the parts to make a really nice neighborhood bar and grill, but everything was indifferently done. The service was brusque but professional . Atmosphere is standard neighborhood sports bar. As to the food, oy. After reading multiple reviews praising the pickle chips we ordered some and they were nicely spiced but oily, limp and tough. Not an auspicious start. I ordered the blue cheese burger with a side of slaw and he ordered a standard burger with crinkle cut fries. Mine came in a POOL of blue cheese dressing. The burger had no char, despite being advertised as char-grilled. Trying to pick it up out of the pool of dressing got my finger messy to the 2nd knuckle. The veggie toppings (iceberg, tomato, dill pickle chips) were standard but the tomato was cut so thick it was like a board in the burger and made it hard to hold it together. The slaw was OK but really sweet and the fries were underdone and not crisp. Sigh. Was soooo hoping this could be our new go-to place. read more

My wife and I go here for a beer and food very regularly. We usually get mini-pitchers of beer and they do offer micros. My personal preference is Spacedust, which if you like IPA's, is very good. They also offer a full bar. We generally drink beer but my wife order a drink there once and said it was really good. Staff is also friendly and food is good. It is your standard bar fare. For entertaining yourself, they have two pool tables, two dart boards, and TouchTunes Interactive Network controlled Jukebox which allows you to choose your own songs, at a price, of course. As far as seating, there are about 5 or 6 booths, a line of tables, and seating at the bar. Kids are also allowed in and I don't think I've ever been in there where I would be concerned with bringing my kids in there. During the summer, they open up the back where they have a few tables. This is also the smoking area so if you don't like smoke, stay inside. read more

Seeing that this place had amazing reviews and it's not too far from my house, I decided to give it a try. Lets start off with the cons and the reason it didn't get 5 stars... First off, their happy hour is kind of lame. The "special" is $1 off of appetizers. What?! Come on now... One of the appetizers we ordered was the potato skins... And it was literally a whole damn potato cut into halves with toppings, but seriously? I was thinking the potato skins that are THIN and like chips?! They should probably describe that appetizer differently. Those few things aside though, the atmosphere of this place was really entertaining and it was a chill crowd. The waitress was really nice as well and seemed to be really engaged with her customers. The tater tots are AMAZING! Almost comparable to Lunchbox Laboratory's... Sadly, the only reason I am giving this place a two instead of one star is because the staff was awesome. I went in around 6pm tonight (a Friday) and 12 out of the 15 people who were already there were clearly smashed drunk and sloppy. It appears to mostly be a hang out bar for neighborhood old men. The Elysian beer on tap was great, yet the order of fried pickles was mostly salty and had paper thin pickles. I wouldn't have eaten any but I was super hungry. Like some other reviews, I'm not sure how this place has four stars. This place smells like smoke and when I sat down, I already knew that this wasn't the place for me. The service was mediocre and the place was grungy (not in a good way). I'm a bit sad that this bar replaced Wing Dome. I ordered a dragon melt which was pretty good but a little greasy side.
