Have had a ton of problems with our jeep this year moving. We had brought in our jeep for inspection because our car was overheating and we weren't seeing a coolant leak super strong but we were seeing some what seemed to be water from the drivers side seat under the car, they checked everything and said we did have a bad water pump and that it needed to be replaced ASAP. We got the water pump replaced that being almost a 900 dollar replacement (for one my husband never saw a leak coming from the water pump but they said it was 100% the water pump so we trusted them) Literally three days later our car started to overheat again. We brought it in and they had it up on a lift for two hours just looking to see what it could be, they said since they just replaced the water pump maybe some air was in the lines and the coolant ran through the system and they couldn't see a leak so they just added more coolant and let us on our way. Later that day I went to get the mail and saw a huge green coolant puddle that ended up coming from the underside of the drivers side seat originally where we saw some fluid previously when they said it was the water pump. We brought it in and they said it was the heater core that was leaking coolant (mind you this is our third time letting them look at our vehicle). They estimated us 1700 for the fix I understand it's a large job. We now believe it was the heater core all along causing the problem and that they didn't do a good enough job looking and just assumed it was water pump. They also wouldn't bypass the heater core and for no reason they gave us lol. We also just replaced our back breaks recently with parts we bought, we're traveling soon and needed our front ones done (yes with our own parts) but of course they won't replace those either because they don't take customer parts they say, (but yet previously they offered for us to buy the water pump from rock auto etc and install it yet they won't take our breaks?) This location isn't helpful and Firestone people just want money and for them to be done with your car. I do not recommend any of the men from this shop, they also are very sketchy with their explanations. Be super cautious people!! They also schedule and appointment but than took hours before they even looked at my vehicle. If you're gonna schedule someone do it correct. read more

Having recently moved to Virginia. I was concerned about locating an honest , professional service center . My vehicle has high mileage but I maintain it so i can rely on it . I have no problem spending money to maintain my vehicle . But if I'm going to spend money I want to spend it on an HONEST repair . I'm very happy to have found Firestone . They are Honest and professional. I trust everything they have done so far . To me , this is peace of mind . I know that when I bring my vehicle in for an oil change or repair , I'm not going to get ripped off . This is the place to go . There second to none ! read more

I've been going for many years now and Peter always honest Mark, Chris, Jordan all the guys to include the manager are always helpful, professional and always treat customers with dignity and respect. I went this morning and they were swamped! And as usual, with a smile on their face they accepted my business I dropped off my tires and went on my way, my advisor gave me a realistic expectation on how long I would wait and gave me the option to make an appointment at my earliest convenience. Great customer service @ this location. Booked am apt. A few things went wrong with ordering and repair service ticket. Once I arrived the representative Mark took a hold of the situation while closing and owned up to the mistake and took care of right away. I have been going to firestone for years and by far the service at this location is extremely slow . I got here at 7:45am Was second in line for a simple oil change . It's now currently 11:13am and I'm still waiting on my car to be finished. I'll never understand how they do business but it doesn't take this long . 0/5. Went on a week day at 3 pm and asked how long for an oil change and was told they would have it done by 7 pm and couldn't get to it any sooner. That wouldn't work for me because I was by myself and didn't have anyone to come pick me up while I waited, so I asked if I made an appointment how long would the maintenance window be. They told me it would take under an hour. I set my appointment for 12 the next day and walked in the door a few minutes before 12 that day. I dropped off the keys and here I am sitting, it's after 1, and I'm still waiting. Nobody has come to me to say it's taking longer than expected or to show me that the air filters are dirty and need to be replaced like they usually do. Nothing. So yeah, one star because a 0/5 isn't possible. read more

It's nice because they make you make appointments then have you wait an hour and a half to patch a tire (15-20 minutes of work).

Shout out to the three gentlemen who assisted me when I had a staple and a slow leak in my tire (and no key for the tire lock). I made an appt online the night before that didn't get confirmed by the system but they still graciously and immediately helped me. They were wonderful about answering all of my questions and educating me. Their advice and recommendations were honest and helpful. As a female I often feel dismissed or taken advantage of at service centers but not here. This was by far the best customer service I have ever received while seeking service for my car. And that is still my sentiment considering they weren't able to fix the problem since there was no key for the tire locks (new car and the dealer confirmed they forgot to give me the key when I bought the car 4 months ago). When I offered to pay them something for their time they adamantly refused to accept even a tip (or a pizza, which I offered). Thank you to these wonderful employees who are working short staffed during Covid for their friendliness and professionalism. I felt like a valued customer. read more

I have been getting my 1998 Civic serviced at Firestone centers since I got it in 2003. I tried this location out for a high mileage oil change and tire rotation. I called ahead and was told there was no wait. I showed up 30 minutes later and they got me right in as promised. A couple of my tires were worn so they replaced them and did an alignment. I was in there for less than an hour and a half which I thought was reasonable for an oil change, rotation, tire replacement and alignment. They're good about letting you know what they recommend without pressuring you to do it right then. I waited in the store and the front desk guys were very professional with all of the customers that came through and phone calls. The prices were reasonable for the area. I will be back there for more repairs! read more

Zero stars! I had my car towed here because they were open on a Sunday. Their mechanics can do little else aside from an oil change and tires. 5 days and $500 later, my car remains unfixed and undiagnosed. They essentially gave up, said they couldn't figure it out, and still charged me for parts and labor that didn't fix the problem! Update: they called to offer me a full reimbursement after talking to the operations manager. I appreciate follow-up and fairness. read more

I've never written a review for anything before, but I feel compelled to share my recent experience with this place. My family and I have been going to this shop for years without any major incident, but this place has been going down hill in terms of quality and customer service as of late. I recently sent in my car for a balance and rotation. I noticed later that day there was a lump on the sidewall that was not there went I dropped it off. They totally washed their hands of any responsibility and suggested that it was my fault (note: I live close to the shop and hadn't driven two miles from when picked up my vehicle to when reported the problem). I think the worst part is the fact they would allow customer to drive away on a tire that could, more or less, explode at any time. I have a pregnant wife who I drive around quite a bit, and I hate to think what if I hadn't noticed the issue and it resulted in a blown tire with her in it? Really disappointed in the way they chose to handle the situation and I won't be going back. I'm also planning to report this incident to Firestone Corporate and BBB. Advice for those who still chose to bring their vehicle here for service, THOROUGHLY inspect your vehicle before driving it off their lot, you may even want to consider going as far as taking pictures beforehand. read more

I ordered four new tires from tirerack and had them shipped to this location for install. Their special rate for balancing and mounting was $10 less per tire than the competition. The alignment was very reasonably priced also, 40% less than where I had done it previously. I probably saved $100 over having this service done at that other popular Ft. Hunt service center. The counter guy was extremely professional and very knowledgeable about the tires I had purchased (and not even from them) and tires in general. The bay personnel were busy like bees doing their thing. Everyone seemed well trained. They actually did a courtesy check and pointed out my power steering might have a leak (they don't do this service), I will have to check that out. All in all, this is a very professional operation and I see no reason to go anywhere else for tire work. read more

I live near this location and started going out of convenience. They do not have cheapest oil change or have state/emission inspections which is annoying. But they are very honest, quick, and reasonably priced. There is an older guy who is always there that is super knowledgeable and friendly. read more

Brought it back a week later and was told I would have to wait a week to get it looked at or bring it to another Firestone. Make sure you tell them to call you and let you know what they're about to do with your car. I had my tire check since I had a flat tire so I had to leave it there for a couple of hours. The guy that helped us wasn't friendly at all. Why have a job that deals with customers and can't even have a smile on your face? SMH!! Anyways they patched up my tire without giving me a courtesy call to let me know what's wrong with my tire and that they're about to patch it up. They called me 3 hours later to let me know my car is ready. They need to improve their customer service skills!! read more

At dropoff, I spoke with Robert, who by the way, has a glorious mustache. Hats off to you! This was my first time at this location but had purchased Lifetime Alignment and other services before. Robert was able to pull up my account and explain that I had done the spring time package in the past and that it was recommended for me today. Anything to keep my car on the road was my goal, as it has over 200k miles now. Robert was lovely and helpful, and we discussed leaving my vehicle there until it could be serviced properly the following day. The next day I spoke with Peter who was also considerate and knowledgeable. Peter was who I interacted with upon pickup. I could tell that they were very customer service oriented folks. As someone with very little knowledge of cars, they put my mind at ease. I will definitely use this location for any future vehicle maintenance. Thank you Robert and Peter! I liked the fact that they include the road hazard warranty with the tires. When I walked in he said it should be done by 1/1:30 and my appointment was at 11am, however it took 3.5 hours to just get 4 new tires and an alignment!!! I wasnt happy but the guy at the counter for the inconvenience took off the charge for my alignment which saved me $90. That was very nice to him as he didn't have to do that. I don't know the guys name but when I also called to make the appointment the guy was very nice and helpful. I understand that sometimes things happen. They were short handed today but their customer service was awesome, making sure their customers were happy. read more

I own a Toyota Rav4, and went to Springfield Toyota for an electronic alignment of my tires - after 2(two) hours, went to the manager, Chris, and he said "OOPS, FORGOT ABOUT YOU". The alignment was allegedly "done". Subsequently, took the car in for other repairs and was told I need an alignment?! A friend of mine recommended Firestone, so I called and made an appointment to have an electronic alignment of my tires. As soon as i got there my car was taken in and within an hour everything was taken care of. The car drives so much better - I can tell the difference! read more

I came out to my car yesterday with a flat tire... I have road hazard coverage on my tires and I knew I needed to go to a Firestone to get it fixed. I called first to see if I could be looked up in the computer to make sure my tires were still covered before I drove and had to take a couple long uber rides to bring it there and pick it up. The gentleman on the phone was rude and didn't look me up and said just to come in. I was a little miffed but since I was almost positive my tires were covered, I said okay. Upon getting there, the same gentleman at the desk as on the phone was even more rude than before. He said he didn't talk to me, which I totally get. I'm in customer service too and we talk to a lot of people every day. No big deal. But as I asked my questions about fixing or replacing the tire, and whether I was in the system or not, he was incredibly rude. Choice phrases were " well of course I have to look at the tires, I can't just trust what you're saying!" , when that's not even what i asked. Also, as I was trying to give him the information that I thought was needed for the warranty, from the paperwork from when bought the tires: " well no! Everything's on the computer right in front of me!" Okay well as I'm talking to him he's not telling me if he needs the paperwork or not. I am very chill and always give people in service the benefit of the doubt but I had to say to him "I'm not trying to give you a hard time, I'm just trying to get all the information" and he only said okay... Clearly your customer is annoyed but instead of fixing it, he was more worried about his annoyance.Again,I'm in customer service and have been for a long time and this is sounding like I'm very needy, which I'm not. I asked him to call me when they found out what had made the tire flat before fixing it, and that didn't happen. The only call was the let me know the car was ready... This gentlemans service was a shame because when I picked the car up, someone else helped me and was nothing but pleasant and helpful! And even though there wasn't a call prior to the work being done; it was done properly and in the time they promised. These guys are great! I had just gotten an oil change last week. So when my car had something hanging from it less than a week after, I immediately thought it was my oil pan dragging on the ground. I called Firestone panicking! lol! The friendly guy who answered the phone was so patient and calm. He told me to stop driving my car immediatlely and have it towed because me engine should have no oil. I told him that i still had plenty of oil. He then assured me it couldnt have been the pan but bring it in anyway. So I came in today. Less than 30 minutes later my car was ready and the skirt was reattached. although the guys thought I had run over something to cause the skirt to be taken off (which I dont think I did), I was charged NOTHING. Yet again these guys could have taken advantage and told me that I needed my oil pan replaced. but they didnt. they were so honest and caring. Love these guys! read more

I have been visiting this particular Firestone Auto Care shop for years. That's only because I have a lifetime wheel alignment agreement with this shop. Otherwise, I would never, ever return for services here. There ARE better shops with HONEST service repair staffs. Management and its staff are always trying to find something wrong with my car. (Note: Be very careful about Peter). They recommend high priced repairs that can be found at lower prices elsewhere. I have a real problem with their approach -- recommending high-priced services when the need to do so is not immediate. I am giving this shop 1 star for their unprofessional practices and lack of technical knowledge. Beware. Repeat, beware. read more

I recently went here (unscheduled) for an oil change, tire rotation, and to have a brake light replaced. I also had asked that they ensure my fluids are topped off and that there's no residue left on my window from the oil reminder sticker (because last time I ran out of windshield wiper fluid a few days after my last service and they removed the sticker and placed the new one beside the last spot, leaving the sticker residue on my windshield). First, I dropped my car off around 2 and was told it wouldn't be ready until after 12 the following day. Around 9am the next day, they called to inform me that my brake light was out and asked if I would like it replaced (I knew it was out which is why I requested that it be replaced). Then, I didn't get a call until around 2 that my car was finished. When I arrived, they questioned whether they actually put synthetic oil in my car or regular. I was charged $165 ($60 for my bulb to be replaced!). When I left, the sticky residue was still on my windshield AND I had NO windshield wiper fluid. Pretty upset that I had to ask for my fluids to be topped off even though that comes standard with an oil change and it still didn't get done and was charged way too much for the services and had to wait for 24 hours. read more

Number 8 in line for ONLY an Oilchange guess what? they tell me the wait time will be about 2 hours i said okay it's a saturday after all what was i expecting? 4 Hours later.... car isnt done yet, I ask what's going on? Technician says oh were pretty backed up today. I ask what time will my car get it's oil change The response? 2 hours Tops come back 2 hours later car is still parked where i left It im pretty upset basically wasted my whole day I plead with them just to get my oil change because i know oil changes take less than 20 minutes when done correctly. so after 8 hours i get 1 oil change from this place on a saturday while being 8th in line? Either they really suck or they don't like customers who have commuter cars. Will definetly NEVER come to this establishment again nor will i recommend anyone to get their car serviced here.
