Great experience! My tire got a puncture on the side of it and was no longer safe to patch. This happened right before Memorial Day too so majority of tire shops were closed. Luckily for me, Firestone was open. I called ahead to check if they had my tire size and they scheduled me for an appointment within the hour. Once I got there the staff was amazing and patiently answered all of the questions I had. My tire was replaced in less than an hour too! And the price was more than reasonable which was great. Overall the service was great and the staff were very friendly, helpful, and professional! I was helped by Shohil and my mechanic was Kevin. There were a few others that helped me but I don't remember their names sadly. But I would definitely recommend this place! read more

Made an appointment for service. Was quoted a 5.5 hour job. Agreed to drop off at opening (9 am) and was told it would be done by end of day (5pm) ... guess what didn't happen ... AGAIN!!! If you didn't pull the tech off a job to do other jobs, it should have been done on time ... 8 hours later!!! 3 weeks previous it took 5 hours to change one tire. I should have known. Today, I made an appointment for oil change and let them know the codes and said what already was done and want everything fixed. 5 hours go by and I haven't heard from them so I call to hear only oil change was done and gave me recommendations. I didn't need recommendations, I knew what needed to be done. They wasted my only day off and now I have to find another day next month to get the other codes fixed. I made an appointment online for an oil change and for my appointment to be when right away at the store. I got confirmation of my appointment and everything was set to go, moved my day around to coincide with this appointment to only find out two and a half hours before my appointment that I would have leave my car there all day or cancel my appointment. This is some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced and I feel like if I was a man it would have been taken care of the same day with no issues. This is not my first time I've had this issue with this Firestone location. It sucks to be a cardholder through Firestone and be continuously treated this way. My step dad which is 83 years old took his Ram Truck over there for a oil change , when he returned to pick up his truck the service writer tells him his passenger side headlight was broken, my step dad says was not like that when he drop it off . How something simple can turn into something unnecessarily complicated. This one's for "Sho". A few months back I went to firestone and got an oil change. During the oil change I had a really nice technician check the error code on my vehicle. The code was for a fuel cap which they did not have in stock because it's a dealer part so he said once I had a new fuel cap on to come back and they'd clear the error code for me. After preparing for the holidays I go out to find this fuel cap which was like finding a needle in a haystack. I finally find a dealer who has one left that sets the fuel cap aside for me. I go there, purchase it, and put on a new fuel cap. I drive immediately to the same Firestone with a receipt for this newly purchased fuel cap and speak with "Sho". He was obviously having a bad day because he was incredibly rude from the get go. He told me he "wasn't going to do that for me because it was illegal in California" I've been a loyal customer at Firestone for over 15 years and have spent thousands of dollars there. If you decide to use this company be very aware of even the basic information they are communicating. They make recommendations they cannot live up to. Rarely return calls so the customer has to cal repetitively. New employees aren't trained and the repetitive hold times of 30 minutes or more are ridiculous. Went in for an inspection on my radiator since it's been overheating a little bit. Made an appointment online at 9 am. My car was not seen for over an hour and I know this because it was still parked in the same spot I had parked it in when I drove passed it. That was just the first problem. They told me when I arrived that they would call me as soon as it was done to pick it up. 6 hours later, I called them to see what the update was with my car, when they said they would call me as soon as it was done which they didn't, and they told me they didn't find anything. Told me they did a flush with my radiator to find leaks and didn't find any leaks whatsoever. Cool, everything's fine and I trusted them with this answer. Drove out of their store and within maybe 2 minutes fluid started spraying onto my car, check engine light goes on, car starts severely overheating and I pull to the side to find out my radiator cap was not on. I know very well I went in with my radiator cap on. If a lose radiator cap was my problem think I really needed to go in for them just to order me a new one? No. Whoever worked on my car did not put my radiator cap back on after the inspection and caused a whole lot more problems with my car. Went in without a problem, and left with a problem. Called the store to speak to a manager and all I was told was "I'm sorry but if you come back we can definitely order you a new radiator cap". Ended up having to file a damaged vehicle claim through corporate and now have a case in progress. Thanks Firestone! read more

Been having issues with my car starting lately, so I requested an appointment online the night before. Arrived before opening and still waited in line. When told about my appointment, Roger replies, "we're looking at end of day service for online appointments." Wanted to ask why you'd even offer the option but didn't expect much of an answer. Quoted $175 for a "non-start diagnostic" but assured the cost would be waived if nothing is found. Left my key and hoped for the best. Got a call about an hour and a half later from Roger saying that the tech didn't find anything besides a loose battery cable, which was tightened and confirmed no other issue. Roger said it would just be $175 when I return. When I arrived, I reminded Roger of the offer to waive charges and was cut off immediately to be told that "they did find something." I asked if just tightening a bolt was worth $175 and he looked offended. I said I'd be more than happy to pay for a legitimate issue like a bad starter or alternator and again was interrupted to be told that I was lucky it wasn't, because what if it really WAS worse? Somehow the reality of no problem was worth the possibility of harm. Solid logic. Here's a hypothetical for you, Roger and Firestone: if you actually cared about customer service or satisfaction (those signs on the walls are a joke) and made a simple gesture of goodwill, you could've had return service for life. Beware of this Store!!!! I am certain they Created Damage on purpose. I have a lifetime membership for Wheel Alignment I can take to any Firestone and went to the closet one on Elverta and Walerga. Anyway I just did new Struts on a 2013 Nissan Murano and on Friday 3/15/24 I took a Picture after work was done before the Alignment...the Shop Also Complimented to my Wife who ever did the Suspension Work did a Great Job . The Next Day on Saturday 3/16/24 the wife says I heard a noise. I took the right passenger wheel off Firestone claimed there was some "Greese" but what they where talking about is grease you see seep from under Boot Clamps at the Half Shaft. They also gave an estimate to replace that and a Bunch of other things, Battery Low and Engine Diagnostic Check and it will only cost $1700....Of Course declined there was nothing wrong with the Battery we already told them the check Engine Light is on because I have a bad Oxygen Sensor and there is nothing wrong with the Half Shaft See Picture again. So Look at Picture it looks like someone cut with a Razor Blade a 1in Slit in the Half Shaft Boot and Created a mess and a Danger to anyone Driving this Vehicle. I Called the Store they said they are willing to look at It but said I am not going to waste my time for you to look at it if your Company is not willing to take responsibility. They one on the Phone again 3/15/24 said they WILL NOT HAVE A GOOD DAY AND HUNG UP ON ME. I will be reporting to the BBB as well....BEWARE!!!! read more

I went here to firestone because it was the closest tire shop near me. They were backed up which was understandable so i went across the street because they had techs available to replace 2 tires. They did not have an alignment tech so they wanted me to reschedule. I called firestone back and they said they would be able to get me in if i dropped it off and i could pick it up later. I did appreciate them looking at the vehicle to check it in, however the store manager said they were unable to align my vehicle because it was staggered (which was odd because ive had many vehicles with staggered wheels that i was able to get done.) something about the computers not being able to read correctly. I also used to work at sears auto center when they had them, and what the store manager said made no sense to me at all so i chose to ignore them and not argue. so it left me a bit bummed, but i had to remind myself that aligning my vehicle was absolutely possible. I called another shop on watt ave that was close by and they were able to get me in right away and did my alignment in about 30 minutes or so. I was able to see the measurements before and after my alignment was done and man oh man i sure did need it. I hope this helps anyone else that may run into this issue dealing with this store. When you get them to work on your car, they do their job. The hard part is getting them to take your vehicle in. Their appointment processing system is inefficient, and sometimes they do not get back to you confirming your "requested" appointment. Don't even think about calling to reschedule for a different time, because when they approve it you still get booted with a drop off option rather than them prioritizing your vehicle for the time slot they approved. Customer service is good, but it's the execution that is, for a lack of better terms, lame. read more

If I could do zero stars I would. I brought my truck in on Monday to see if they could check out my AC. Instead of checking to see if they have the proper equipment to service my truck ahead of time they just booked an appointment for the following Friday. When I brought it in Friday they then told me "I gotta see which type of freon you have cause we can only service a certain type with our equipment." Why did they not do that before scheduling an appointment with me!? Now I've wasted my time by showing up to the appointment that they were supposed to fix my shit, to find out that they can't!? Instead of correcting their mistake and contacting another location to take care of me they just gave me another locations number said "you call them and see if they can do it"........ So now it's on me to resolve the problem that they created! To top it off all I got was an apology that seemed very insincere. I never leave reviews for anything, good or bad. But this will for sure be a location that I strongly recommend everybody to avoid at all costs. They clearly don't care about their customer service. They tried to tell me that the mistake was made because the guy that originally helped me was new. After she called they acted as if they didn't know, called again , they had to order the part. A week later still not fixed. We was just told to come on Tuesday because an expert of replacing her whole shift gear will be in at 7am, never called . We went up there again. They would have never called. After using this Firestone shop on Elverta for years, today was the last time I will ever take my vehicles there. It has become a joke and a waste of my time to try and have them work on my cars. Their appointment system is ridiculous and completely useless. The main reason I went there today was because it's conveniently located so I can walk to and from home, but after today's experience it was anything but convenient. I dropped my van off for an appointment at 9 am to have the front brakes replaced and get an oil change. They also signed me up for the complete inspection and said they would call me with an update. I did not get a call from them all day, so I called at 5 pm when the car was supposed to be ready. The phone rang a dozen times before someone answered and asked to put me on a brief hold, that hold lasted 5 minutes before I hung up and just went down to the shop to check in person. I got there and the van was up on the lift, hood up and tires off. The person working the lobby had no idea what was going on with my vehicle, so she went into the garage to speak with the tech, and she came back to say that they only did the inspection and that he needed another 30 to 45 minutes to do the oil change. I told her not to bother and to just have them put the van back together so I could leave. She left before the van was ready 30 minutes later so the technician checked me out. He had the nerve to charge me for the inspection, so I asked him if he thought it was fair to charge me $9.99 even though they had my van all day and didn't do the two specific things I brought it in for. He brushed it off, said something about being short staffed, weakly apologized then asked if I was going to pay with a firestone credit card or cash. Thanks Evan! One day you will learn that $9.99 today just cost your shop thousands of dollars of future revenue. Now, this is not the first time they have had my car for a whole day and did not complete everything that they were supposed to. One time they even tried to tell me they did an alignment, but when I asked for the alignment report they couldn't provide it. One previous visit I brought my car there; I was dropping it off for an 8 am appointment and there was a woman in front of me checking her car in. She told the manager she had called earlier that morning to see if they could fit her in and the manager said he remembered taking her call and began flirting with her. He asked when she needed the car ready and she said 3 pm. He replied that they would get it back to her by 1 pm. I go up next, tell him I had an appointment at 8 am for an oil change. He said, ok we'll have it ready by 6 pm. I told him that I put in the appointment request that I needed it ready by the afternoon, not the evening because I needed to pick my kids up by 4:30 pm. He told me they were booked all day and couldn't get it done by then, and for me to just bring it back the next day, the whole time referring to me as Boss, which was awkward. Apparently, I wasn't cute enough for him, so I ended up taking my car somewhere else that was further away but was able to complete the oil change in under an hour, without an appointment. Bottom line is they are a mismanaged, poorly run, understaffed shop that obviously cannot serve the volume of vehicles that are coming through their doors. Short staffed or not, it is completely unacceptable to not call at least once to let me know they were running behind or for them to give any update at all. There is zero customer service at this garage with no focus on the customer's experience (Looking at you Evan). The 2.7 stars on yelp are pretty telling, I'm obviously not the only person that has had issues with this shop. I've been going to this location since it opened and a Firestone customer for many years before this. My last experience has to be one of the worst! After a typical oil change, tire rotation, balance, and alignment, I noticed the wheel cap on the rear driver side was not properly reattached. I returned to the store and was told they would make it right. This was 2/26/23 and it's now 3/15/23 and it's not right! I have followed up 2 times, the second being yesterday and I was told "well, it was missing a screw when you brought it in and we just didn't document it." WHAT?! No, it wasn't! All 4 wheel caps were intact and secure when I took it in for service. Oh, and the best part is when I was told that the part was being ordered from a personal AMAZON account. Is this common practice? I have called customer service and been told "sorry for the inconvenience" ... really?! So, apparently, the area manager will get back to me in a couple of days ... Called around 9am to make an appointment to get a tire repaired, the lady said they have an opening at 1pm. She takes my phone number and I confirm it's 1pm today, she confirmed. I stop in just before 1pm to find out that I don't have an appointment just a slot to drop off my truck for a single tire repair and they might get to it before the end of the day... Evan stated they sent me an email that details it isn't an actual appointment but I only shared my phone number. I stated That's false as I declined to provide an email. He said I could drop my truck off and they might get to it later but they're full. Why would y'all book an appointment knowing you're incapable of honoring the appointment? I wouldn't have drove the 45 minutes back that way had I known the reality of what they were offering. Extremely disappointed. Americas Tire offered better service and got me in right away due to the inconvenience here. I also received a discount for an inconvenience from an entirely different company. I'd brought my personal vehicles in here before and always had decent quick service with acceptable workmanship. A few months ago I brought one of my company's trucks in to get the oil changed and have a tire replaced that had a screw in it and was unrepairable. The service writer went out to get info from the vehicle and came back stating I also had another tire with a screw in it. I agreed to replace both since it's better to do in pairs anyways. 6 hours later I get a call from them stating that now I had nails in all 4 tires and should replace them all. Now, I've had the one punctured tire for a couple months and have kept an eye on all the tire pressures through the dashboard and not one of the other 3 dropped so much as a pound in that time. Not to mention I visually inspected all 4 tires once I found the original puncture and didn't see anything else. This was a blatant attempt to upsell me on services I didnt want and/or need. Add to that they had 8 hours to work on the truck and it's now past closing without a call saying it won't be ready today. I drove by 5 minutes before closing and it's up on a lift with no one touching it. Now I have to make other arrangements to pick it up tomorrow (hopefully). Warning to the ladies! I obviously don't leave reviews but wanted to warn the women who go to this location of my experience. I was bored one day so I decided to help out my sis because she is insanely busy with the kids and all, so I took her car in for an oil change (such an awesome sister, right?!? Should get karma points...). Everything was fine although it took a little longer than I thought and they really tried to push a credit card sale saying how the oil change would be free if I was approved or not. But since this wasn't even my car, I was as nice as possible (probably where I went wrong) and declined. After everything was done, went home and no big deal right? Wrong! Here's the messed up part, it's been MONTHS since I was there, and I got a creepy text from some dude (assuming you can't use real names, let's call him Peeve Hooper) saying how he has a crush on me, how I'm such a great mom (again, no kid... but my sister's car had a child seat in the car so wtf?!?) and kept blowing up my phone asking me out. I was firm, said no! A few days later I get home and flowers are at my door addressed to me from him! I don't even live with my sister so I have no idea how he got my address, probably stalked me online or something! Long story short, I tried filing a police report, but apparently stalking isn't a crime because no threats or violent behavior has occurred, but a report was still made in case anything happens to me. Also had to change my phone number, email, and might look at new places to move in case he doesn't get the hint. But I am seriously freaked out and only thing that comes to mind with all of this is that I hope he's not like the psycho off that Netflix series "You"... Buyer beware. read more
