Terrible service and incompetent staff. This place used to be good. The old manager who is in the picture for this listing was great. Since then the whole team has changed. The manager is rude and short with customers. I've been taking my car here for over 8 years with no issues and have my car fully checked every visit with an excellent report. Now they tell me that both front ball joints are ripped? The kid who called couldn't even explain to me what that meant but assured me it wasn't a safety issue? I looked it up and yes it very much is an issue. I'm suspicious about this because how do I have such a major issue since my last visit? I hardly drive my car... they quoted me almost $800 to fix this. Yea I'm taking my car elsewhere and getting a second opinion. FYI this type of repair cost less at other trustworthy mechanic shops. I'm writing this review while sitting at another tire shop (not Firestone) getting four new tires put on my truck because of my negative experience yesterday with this place! We usually go to a different Firestone shop for our tires. However, my wife has taken her car here the last 3 or 4 times because of the convenience to her work (despite the fact that she continues to have what seems like, are the same issues, but keep having to pay and which should've been sending up red flags anyways)! The manager here (Aaron), was rude and condescending. No people skills, whatsoever! We will never go back to this location and my wife and I are contemplating going with a different tire store all together and chop up these damn Firestone credit cards!! keep in mind this is over the period of a year. This is the final straw for them! Brought my truck in for tires mounted and balanced, i bought the tires. When they mounted them they messed one of them up installing on the rim luckily were l bought them they warranted it out. When they balanced them it was done incorrectly and l had a bad vibration. It was fixed after the second trip. At that time l scheduled an alignment. I bought the lifetime alignment. Took it in received it back driving home and noticed a rattle that l never had before. Inspected the front end and found the steering link couple was loose and only being held on by one thread. thank god no one died! Contacted the service manager they paid for the parts and l installed them. Took in in for alignment today pick it up and l have a tattletale in my truck. Looked at what went on while it was at there shop to find out they did 57 mph hit my rev limiter. I am a certified tech l do all my own repairs to my truck. If l had an alignment machine and balance machine it would never go to the shop! This is unacceptable! You let your service manager go another one replaced his position yet you still have problems. Whats it going to take someone to die! I wish you could attach videos you would see my steering linkage falling out. read more

This Firestone has been great -- friendly customer service and they've managed to get us in without an appointment a few times when we've had a flat tire or dead battery. My only complaint is that their online scheduling system doesn't seem to actually sync with the shop's schedule. For example, I booked an online appointment (through their company website, choosing this specific location) and chose Monday at 9:00am based on their own schedule availability. I received an e-mail confirmation showing this day/time. A few hours later, I get a call from the shop saying the earliest they have available is 3:00pm. (Funny...that time was not available on the website!) Thankfully, I was able to reschedule and it didn't affect work....but I would've been very upset if I rearranged a work schedule and had this happen! Please try to sync the shop's working calendar with the online scheduler so this doesn't happen to other folks. :) read more

Every time I go in there, they give me some arbitrary and atrociously long wait time. The place opens at 7. I walked in at 6:57. There was one lady in front of me. He told her the wait would be an hour and ten minutes for an oil change. Then I walked up and told him I needed an oil change. He said the wait time would be 5 hours! How? read more

They have changed the oil in my vehicles many times. Their service is top notch. The team always hustles and does a great job.

The customer service staff are very friendly but I now seriously question their diagnostic abilities and/or honesty. I was originally given a quote of $1,000, then they said it would be over $4,000 with added repairs needed. I questioned that so took it to another shop and they told me I was getting ripped off. They explained how you have to fix one of the parts before you can even tell if those other parts were bad, but Firestone just said they all needed to be replaced. So the other shop fixed it for less than $1,000 even with extra things they did and my smog certificate. I will definitely not trust coming to firestone again. read more

Would not recommend this place for any oil changes. They use impact wrenches on the bolt and almost stripped mine off. Only reason I knew about it was because I went to change the oil myself and noticed the damage. Went to them to let them correct the issue and was told they would have to do a service (oil change) on it to fix the issue. No other options than paying them 100 bucks to loosen a bolt that they jacked up. Fortunately I'm in a muscle car club and will make sure that this location does not get any business from any of my members, their family or anyone at the many meets we go to every week. If you can't stand behind your work, you don't deserve customers. read more

Not enough workers. Came in on a Sunday with an appointment at 9am and heard the guy say they only have 3 workers with a line of people out the door. When I told the check in person I had an appointment he told me my car wouldn't be done until 4pm. I told him I'm waiting as I don't have a ride home and that's exactly why I made an appointment. . I get that things happen but with this type of business they should be better prepared. Also not enough chairs in the lobby and no wifi for customers or plugs for charging. Update: I went in today for a new set of tires and they were as awesome today as they were a few months ago. I really can't recommend them enough. I had an alignment and oil change done yesterday. I called on Friday for an appointment but they were booked solid. They told me if I dropped it off though they would fit it in. I dropped it off and it was done within an hour later. They didn't try to sell me services and products I didn't need either. Yes, I need new tires but have a few months of life left. Instead of using scare tactics they were honest! My son had an issue with his power steering pump. He got it fixed but after a few weeks his power steering wasn't working again. We took it back and found that the motor mounts were loose and kept hitting the power steering pump and knocking it off. They identified the problem, I fixed the motor mounts and a second time they fixed the power steering pump at no charge. Firestone thanks for being honest! read more

All work done as promised, no surprise, and on promised time However on my last oil change,I was told by Firestone tech that I need new battery, I refused and took car to dealerships , where they tested it and claimed its fine . Not shure who's saying true : Firestone or Dealer that don't want do replacement under warranty. Battery is working just fine and I only have 23k miles on car . I will keep my aye on Firestone from now on Update few months passed this review my car battery went completely dead and Subaru replaced it under manufacture warranty! So, two things. First of all, when I entered the store, the two men at the counter were maskless. The majority of the customers (not all), had on masks, but the employees did not. I was NOT comfortable with this at all. Secondly, I had an appointment to get my car worked on for over a week. I get there, and I am told that I need to reschedule, because the person who does "diagnostics" is not there at 3 pm. Strange that the person who decides what is wrong with your car isnt there all day at an auto repair place. How do they fix the cars then? But ok. He also proceeds to tell me that "I only said I needed the serpentine belt replaced." Wrong. If he looked at the comments section of the appointment request, he would have seen that I said the exact same information I repeated at the counter. And I had also called the day before to get an estimate, and referenced my appointment. I was told I could only get an estimate for the new belt and not the other work, because they would have to see what exactly needed to be replaced. I did not make another appointment with that location, and I will go elsewhere. I was a first time customer, and that was the best they could do? I haven't even had an appointment and I was already having issues with them! read more

Avoid this place at all costs... they do not honor their OWN extended road hazard warranty. I don't usually NEED to stick up for my ex-wife (she can do that on her own just fine!) but the treatment of a single woman at this location was atrocious! She had 4 tires bought at this location and when she got a road hazard puncture a side wall they refused to cover the tire. They then found a bolt in another tire and they told her they do not replace a tire that they cant repair??? What the heck is a road hazard warranty if it isnt for exactly that a road hazard puncture! If you are a woman and want to be RIPPED OFF this is the place for you! read more

This is a fairly new shop and not far from my house, so I took my vehicle in for an oil change. I was told on the phone they were not busy and an oil change could be done quickly. I asked for an oil change, and the service writer asked if I wanted a "complete inspection" and I told him I just wanted an oil change. He told me they would do a "courtsey inspection". An hour and a half later the vehicle was done, and I was informed I had a brake light out which they would fix for $31.96. They also recommended a "fuel system cleaning" for $89.99. I used to do minor repairs on all my cars, and I knew I could replace a brake light in a few minutes for pennies. I read thier description of the "fuel system cleaning" which consisted of a putting a can of additive into the gas tank, and spraying the carbeurator with a cleaner. I checked after I left, and found my brake lights working perfectly. What a rip off. I will never go to Firestone again for anything. read more

I have been dreading going in for an oil change. But, I finally sucked it up, bought an Amazon Local deal and made an appointment. I was able to make an easy appointment for the following day. I typically hate the way many "car places" treat women. While I may not be a mechanic, I'm also not an idiot, despise being talked down to and dread the upsale tactics many utilize. This experience was easy, fast and enjoyable from start to finish. I actually look forward to returning. They pointed out a couple of issues that could be addressed int the future, and gave me tips on how to do it myself. They were done faster than expected, got me checked out quickly and easily (despite 4 screaming kids interrupting), had an incredibly clean interior and exterior, were professional, and just plain friendly. Often times when you redeem a groupon, amazon local or similar voucher, you're treated differently. This experience was nothing like that. Watch out for this place! My husband dropped our car off with a nail in our tire and they told him no big deal $20 for a patch. When I called back they tried to tell me the tire was unpatchable and I need two new tires? How did that change so quickly?? Quite literally love going to this location! Aron and Chad are the BEST! They know who I am from the minute I call to walking in the door, it's amazing! They make everything so easy and explain everything that is found or needs to be fixed. Also I never have any issues with what gets worked on. The mechanics do a great job from oil changes to anything major they get it done with no issues. As long as I keep getting great service from the phone call to getting my car back I won't be going anywhere else. read more

This place sucks took my car in and had the alternator checked and then they told me it's going bad I get back in my car and now all of my dash lights are on and then they tell me here's nothing they can do. As I was about to drive back home in the rain, I realized that there was no way my windshield wipers were going to make the 2 hour trip. I called ahead of time asking if they had any wiper blades in stock and letting them know that I was in a rush and Aaron assured me that if they didn't then they could get some for me quickly. I came in about 2 minutes later and was helped immediately. They put on some new blades in less than 10 minutes. All the staff I interacted with were super friendly. Just don't do it.......Two weeks ago I had a scheduled appointment for my car at this location for an oil change, tire patch, and a tire rotation. I choose to wait in the lobby. First, I was told the tire was not able to be repaired. No problem, it was under warranty and I had the tire replaced. Then, I was told my tires have not been rotated as often as they should. I advised the manager that I rotate them every time I get an oil change. He says to me, the place you take it is not doing it. I kindly advised him that my vehicle always comes to this Firestone location for the oil change (blank stare)..... Fast forward 2 weeks. I take my vehicle in because I keep hearing a hitting sound that was not present prior to the service 2 weeks ago. I call advise the manager I'm coming in. I get there he walks me out tot he car asks me to pop the hood and start the car. No problem. He says to me, I don't hear knocking. I advise him my engine is fine, I hear the noise when I make turns. I am a firestone credit card holder and that will be ending today. I went in to have an intake hose replaced and was told they couldnt do it because it was for a smog inspection. My car had not failed an inspection, i was advised to have the hose replaced prior to the smog checkup. The manager said he couldnt help me and he didnt recommend another solution. Update: Since this last visit Andrew and the firestone team have done great work on my vehicles and I am now back as a happy customer. They can check your tire pressure for free. My tire pressure light had been on for a week and I pulled up, without even having to get out of the car, told one of the techs, and they just checked and pumped air all around. My left rear was the only one that was low. Tech told me I might have a nail and to keep an eye on it and to bring it back if my light comes back on. They patch tires for $20. Friendly techs! And way better than going to a gas station to pump air for $0.XX cents. And I don't even have to get out of my car! I guess I'm lazy like that haha. read more

Went in today without an appointment, begging for a A/C inspection. They fit me in, in the afternoon and checked ny A/C. The technician was very good at checking in with me and explaining what he was doing and why the time spent. I really appreciated that. The gentleman in the office, (all of them) were VERY sweet and explained my options and pricing. in the end, I felt appreciated and respected as a customer and VERY happy with my now,cold blowing air! My mother and I have had a joint Firestone account for a number of years and most of the experiences have been good. I own a 2008 Lincon MKZ that I keep in very good condition. I took my vehicle in on Sunday to have the oil changed and two tires put on. The next day, while driving around town, my oil pressure light came on. I called Firestone and told them that I would bring the car in on Wednesday. By Wednesday I had noticed oil stains in my driveway. I thought, oh no! I just had my oil changed. When I brought my car in just a few days after having my oil changed at this very same Firestone location, the service adviser, Isaac, became defensive. I was not accusatory, I just wanted my car reinspected. Before that happened Isaac was going into what it "could" be or what "might" have happened. I finally had to stop him and ask him to just put the car on the lift so we could actually see what the problem was. When the car was put on the lift I was shown that the oil sensor was leaking very badly. I was extremely disappointing. Mind you I have never had any oil problems with my car ever! I drive a luxury sedan and take very good care of it. I expressed this to Isaac and he was again defensive. He even went so far as to say I was questioning his tech's integrity. I find it coincidental that within inches of my oil filter is my oil pressure sensor and it is gushing oil and leaking everywhere within 24 hours of having my oil changed. So if they did do nothing wrong why did they not catch the leak? All of that aside (which was very disappointing workmanship) I just wanted to hear Isaac say, " don't worry, we'll take care of it", or "here are your options". I heard none of that. KEEP IN MIND MY MOTHER AND I HAVE SPENT SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS OVER THE YEARS WITH 3 DIFFERENT VEHICLES. I would have like to have heard some options or but Issac was so busy being defensive and not actually communicating with me I finally just asked for my keys. I will not be back to that Firestone ever. I have spent quite a bit of money over the years there and had planned to do business there for most of my auto repair needs. I had just happily spent over 300 dollars there days before. I wasn't treated like a valued customer by service manager Isaac and now Firestone will no longer have my business. read more

I have brought both of my vehicles to this location several times. One vehicle is wonderfully reliable SUV, the other one is an old POS car..... In general to my overall experience with this location, I have never felt like I have been taken for a ride by this Firestone. I enjoy my interactions with the staff. They are always respectful, calling me "Sir" and "Mr." all the time. (Makes me feel a little old. Lol!) They are very good on updates, perhaps a little slow in calling me sometimes, but lets be realistic now! I understand that I am not their only customer, and they are a busy location. However, they are still very responsive if I call for an update on my vehicle. If they have to give me a call back, they have not "accidently" forgotten to call me... As far as my POS car is concerned, twice in the last year they have given me different final prices vs. quotes. IN A POSITIVE WAY!!!! They have not overcharged me for any service that I have received from them. In fact, in two recent times, that I took my POS car in for service, I received a cheaper overall out the door price then what I was originally quoted for service! My final out the door price has been anywhere been $150 to $200 dollars under the original estimate. And the workmanship has been SOLID! If they are not able to service something on one of my vehicles (which has only happened once) they have been honest about it, and they provide a referral to a garage that is able to provide the service. I am VERY HAPPY with this firestone location and I plan on continuing to do long term business with them. read more

I went in to have my right front tire fixed because of a nail. Instead of explaining it to me they just said they couldn't fix it and have to replace the tire for $189. My gut feeling said it still can be fixed. So, I left. I went in to America's Tire later yesterday and they fixed my tire for FREE. Even made sure that my tires were aligned well and double checked the air pressure. If ever you have problems with any of your tires, do not go to this location. This place is HORRIBLE. *They costed me $3000 worth of suspension work because of their mistakes!!!* & No I did not let them fix their mistakes, I let a trusted car dealership fix it. I simply took my car in for new brakes back in May of 2017. (I am just now writing this review because I now have all of my facts and evidence together). They took off my wheels to do this brake change, and stripped a bolt on my front left wheel. My tire kept deflating so that is why the wheel was taken off by my father, who could barely get the tire off because of the stripped bolt. This had happened a few months after the brake change. When we found this I brought it back right away the next day. We explained to them what they had done and they agreed to fix it with no charge. Except I was told that they would have to take apart my entire suspension to fix the stripped bolt on my tire. Leaving me with NO CAR for an entire day. I had to pay for a rental car out of my pocket. The next day, I picked up my car and all seemed okay. Fast forward to November. I bring my car into Carmax this time because at this point I no longer trusted Firestone. They looked at my car up and down and noticed my suspension was destroyed. Ball joints were ripped, my motor mount was broken, and many other things. Causing my car to shake and rattle. I was so angry because the people at Firestone really screwed up my car. They costed me $3000 WORTH OF SUSPENSION WORK. I will NEVER bring my car here ever again. I will continue to spread the word about these goofy incompetent workers. Honestly a joke. read more
