This is even worse than my prior review. I went there for oil changes and had long been a customer of jiffy lube, until one time I went to a tire discounters for a set of tires and you know if you been there, they have a free complimentary oil change with a purchase of tires. I went for the change when it was time and they informed me that there had been a temporary plug in it and that they weren't touching it for liability concerns and said I was gonna need a new oil pan and all. Now how is that not Jiffy's fault when I had been using them all that time for oil changes and they tried to conceal they did damage to my car. What used to be reliable service, is no longer reliable. I filed the complaint with corporate and the manager who called was rude, so I put him in his place and said forget Jiffy. Don't trust them or it might be you left hanging with an expensive repair due to their faulty work. read more

I just moved back to the Cool Springs area after a 3.5 year hiatus. I love this area! Decided to check out an oil change spot literally just up the road from me this morning. Pulled in and initially felt good, but that immediately changed. While yes, I was first in line and they were working quick.... Thank goodness I was paying attention. As the young man working was about to pull the car out in front of me to let me in next, saw him take a huge puff of smoke before getting in some poor souls car. I backed it QUICK and scooted out immediately. Not a chance I will let anyone smoke in my car. Beyond unprofessional and such a sad state to take advantage of someone's personal space when they are not in it. Highly recommend everyone look elsewhere, unless you prefer people to use your car in this way. read more

Seems a little.. trashy, right? I'll never come back. This location has gone down hill in the last few years. I've come here twice a year for the past 7 years to get a full synthetic oil change and tire rotation but never again. After waiting for over 30 minutes, the technician comes to my window to tell me he can't do an oil change on my F150 unless I replace the the oil plug. I tell him that I've been coming here for 7 years and never had to do that. He said that Ford recommends it and I said fine replace it. He then says they're out of plugs and that I need to go to a dealership and get one and bring it back. Again.. I've been coming here for 7 years and never been turned away for an oil change. Then I ask if they could just do a tire rotation only instead. This is where the real lies comes in... he says my truck is too big for the lift. I drive a base model non-modified F150. I tell him I've always gotten my tires rotated here so I know my truck isn't too big. He then changes his story and says We'll sometimes our lift acts up so he can't do the rotation either. It sounds to me they are just lazy and don't want to work at noon on a Friday. This place is terrible and dishonest. It used to be nice and friendly but the Bellevue location is the only credible location anymore. read more

I drive a lot. To make sure my vehicle is always ready and able, I keep up the maintenance and one of those items is regular oil changes. Typically, I go to Express Oil and Tire on Mission Court in Franklin, but they're closed on Sundays so I went to the Jiffy Lube franchise on Carothers, near Moore's Lane. I'd been there before, some years ago, and they're open on Sunday so... Do yourself a favor...go elsewhere. When I pulled up to the rear garage doors it took a while for anyone to come out. I could see a car pulled in nose first on the other side, facing another car in the 2nd bay. That alone was odd. When I finally pulled in to bay 2, I dawned on me that maybe today was fix a friend's car. Both bay 1 and 2 seemed to have work being done for friends. If not, I have to wonder why the "tech," and I'll use that phrase loosely, informed the customer that he wasn't available on a day because he had to see probation. I drive a vehicle with a plate over the area covering the oil filter. With the number of oil changes I get, I'm used to them taking a while since that plate has to come off. It did not come off in this oil change. When the tech asked me to start my car, I assumed it was die some other reason than a pressure check. I asked him if the plate had come off and he assured me it had. My guess - they drained the oil and didn't change the filter. #moneysaver That was all I got for $100+ bucks. Fresh oil. I guess I'll have to be on the lookout until my next, actual oil change, in case they took short cuts elsewhere that damages my engine. Buyer beware. read more

(Update) I just opened my glove compartment and they didn't even put it back together. They half assed it and it just slams down and everything falls out on the floor! Not only that my engine light is on now... This is 2 mins after my service... (Original:) Just watched them not fulfill my service that I payed for. I had an additional vacuum service in my purchase. He vacuumed my driver side floor, looked at the back... sat there and than turned off the vacuum... When I payed I payed cash... he only had quarters and no ones. So he gave me $9 worth of quarters back... When I got back in my car... some of my CASH from my middle console was sitting in my cup holder... WHY were they going through my personal belongings...? I always keep a couple bills in that console and now there's only $1 left. And it was sitting in my cup holder... Unbelievable!!! Never going back here. I advise you to do the same. read more

Don't send your kids to this Jiffy Lube! For some reason kids cost more. The basic oil change today was $90. When I've visited, the cost is $65-$70. Same oil type and same services. Next came a $35 air filter. We were told it was unsafe to drive if the air filter wasn't replaced. The same filter is half the cost at other service departments. We know that for the reason last time the car was serviced back August 2020, the air filter was replaced. The frustration didn't end. As we went to pay, the $15 off "Jiffy Lube Signature Service Oil Change" Promo Code "SEARCH15" wouldn't scan. So, pulling in we thought/felt the cost would be $75, but pulling out the receipt ended up being $137.17. read more

I have been there twice. Both times there was a bay empty and at least one person sitting around. They told me it would be 45 minutes on the first visit and 45 minutes to an hour on the second visit because they were "working on another vehicle" both times. With a bay empty, it was quite frustrating, especially with people sitting around. I watched 2 other people pulling off on the second visit who I assume were told the same thing I was. read more

I stopped by this Jiffy Lube for an oil change today. The gentlemen who helped me were so welcoming and efficient! I've been to quite a few auto shops, and some have really drab atmospheres, but this was not one of those places. I don't know much about cars, and I always feel wary whenever I need work done on my Jeep, because whoever I go to always strongly recommends extra "stuff" be done in addition to what I came in for. It's hard for me to tell if these are legitimate issues that need to be fixed ASAP, or if the shop is just trying to pad my total cost. However, I've been to this Jiffy Lube several times now, and I don't think they've ever tried to sell me anything extra, which I really appreciate! I asked him about the coolant flush and he said they do but I saw him doing the job and he didn't have a machine to do it when they done with the job I asked him he said he didn't use any machine to flush it. He was not honest, before I went to two Jiffy Lube shops they are honestly said they don't have the machine to do it. What a disappointment with this shop. read more

This used to be my favorite location: great customer service, fast and friendly. Today I waited over an hour and 20 minutes. People who came after me were out long before me. UPDATE: Also, my car was leaking oil after this final service. I took it to the new Jiffy Lube over on Seaboard Lane and they told me that the oil filter was loose by a good five or six turns. Oil all over my driveway. This location is hit or miss..but has been "miss" for quite a while. At one time, this was a great place to take your car and we did for many years. But there has been so much turnover and the same people are never working there anymore. I don't know what's going on with this location, but it's last time we're going there. This last technician tried to scam me into getting things for my car that I didn't need. Instead of having them do the service, I took it to the dealership (where I purchased the car), and they had no idea why he was trying to sell me these services I didn't need. Honestly, you can take it to your car dealership for the same price as you'll pay at Jiffy Lube anyway. Their prices have gotten completely outrageous.. read more

Went in for an oil change and had a great experience. They changed my oil (without trying to upsell me), aired up my tires, vacuumed the floors, and topped off my fluids in less than :15. I just pulled up to Jiffy lube express after leaving Costco to see about getting rear breaks & rotors replaced but was told it was too late in the day for them to work it. Mind you there were 3 guys there doing nothing one was sitting in a chair out front playing on the phone, the other 2 just standing around on the phones too . They just passed up making $400 when they still had an hour & 5mins till they closed. Why stay open for the last hour if your going to act like you closed anyway smh. read more

My husband and I have been going to Jiffy Lube for years for all of our cars and this is the second major issue we have had. After getting my oil changed at the Brentwood location, I was driving about 5 miles down the road and something started dragging. My skid plate was hanging. I went back right away. They almost made me get back in a long line but I refused so they opened the 3rd bay for me. They said they fixed it. However, it started hanging again. My husband was able to look under the car and they used zip ties to hold it up. They never took the time to tell us they didn't use bolts. We went back to have them fix it. The manager, Mr. Young, told us they don't have bolts and that we needed to go to a dealership to get it fixed. That is frustrating for us since it was their fault in the first place and they "fixed it" with zip ties. It was horrible customer service, very rude and bad communication. This is unacceptable for any paying customer. We will never use Jiffy Lube again due to this incident. They also were smoking a cigarette in the bay while I was getting my oil changed and my kids were in the car. read more

This place has been such a disappointment. It's in a good suburb area, lots of nice places around. I've been 3 times and EVERY time they "don't have certain parts" or only have 1-2 people working. They workers are hanging out in the parking lot smoking and just seem to not care. read more

I've been to this location twice and both times the staff have been very nice and polite. The first time I had a flat and they were able to see what was wrong. They filled it with air and helped me locate a place that could patch it. The second time they changed my oil. Very efficient and helpful. They showed me how to reset my oil indicator too. read more

these guys are crooks and thugs. They didn't reset the oil light nor did they top off the windshield washer fluid. After looking under my truck when I got home, I saw that they didn't change the filter. I doubt they even changed the oil. So I returned to the store a couple days later after I cooled off. The manager gave me a new complete oil change which I had to watch for myself that it was done properly. He said they have had some problems lately and had actually fired a few guys. Today is January 5th, 2015. I had my car washed at 12:30 PM and noticed my change oil memo flashing on my car's (2006 Hummer H3) dashboard. I usually change my own oil and filter but since the project involves dropping two, heavy splash pans located underneath the vehicle, I decided to have someone else do it for a change. I noticed that there was a Jiffy Lube close by at 1710 Carothers Parkway, Brentwood, TN, so I pulled in there. I waited in line until the service man guided my car into the service bay. I was in the waiting room for only a short period of time when the manager informed me that my car was done. Since I know from personal experience how long it takes to change the oil and filter, I was very surprised. After all, it was almost as quick as a NASCAR pit stop. I inquired at the cashier's counter and was assured that all was completed. I even asked him what brand of oil filter they used to change mine and he showed me one similar. So, I paid my $55.71 fee and departed. I had a 30-minute drive home and I could not stop thinking about how they could have possibly done the job properly, so quickly. As soon as I arrived home and garaged my car, I slid under it to check the splash pan bolts. All the bolt heads for the pans were still dirty from road grit and it was obvious that neither of the pans were dropped. I then popped the hood and checked the oil filter. It was the same filter I had installed 3000-miles ago. I had been completely ripped off. They must have used a suction hose to drain the oil sump (therefore leaving all of the worst deposits at the base of the sump) and simply added new oil. Alright, another 30-minute drive back to Jiffy Lube and as I pulled up, the manager came out to meet me. He said, "What's wrong? Let's talk here." I said, "No, let's talk inside at your cashier's station." Once there, I explained that I was ripped off and was very upset about it. I said I checked everything when I got home and the oil filter was never changed and the sump was not completely drained. I took him outside and showed that the filter had not been changed, and the splash pan bolts were still dirty. They never saw a wrench today. I then requested a complete refund. He was well aware that the service was not done correctly and that is why he wanted to keep me outside and away from the other patrons waiting for their vehicles. He refunded my money and I left. So the question is, how many other people have been ripped off by this Jiffy Lube? How long has this operation been screwing unsuspecting motorists, especially ladies? I am sure I am not the first victim of this scam. So, buyer beware. It does not matter if you are at a local shop or a big name branded shop like "Jiffy Lube", some operators value profits way before integrity. I will never go to another Jiffy Lube again and if you do, be sure to check your vehicle carefully afterward. You don't always get what you paid for. read more

I only use yelp to read reviews, but Jiffy Lube deserves more from me. I went to get a new headlight, but unfortunately they didn't carry the kind I needed. A man named Eric helped me purchase the exact one I needed on my amazon app. I came back and he installed it for FREE because they didn't carry the light I needed. Carmax and Firestone both quoted me $280 to replace the light. Jiffy Lube saved me $250 which is amazing on a teachers salary. So thank you Eric and Jiffy Lube!! 10/10 recommend for quality service. Moved here from Georgia. Best oil change place I have ever used. I have now been there 3 times. Technicians are the best. They always treat my car problems with an eye towards helping me, not selling me. I have received service multiple times that would have cost a lot somewhere else, and they did it and didn't charge me. Like reading the error codes on my car and putting one quart of oil in the car without charging me! t don't know why Brentwood has the best service people, but they do. If your oil place isn't the best and you live near here, you should definitely try it. Also, the free wifi is great. read more

Something is off here. I've been a customer since it was built and haven't had a bad experience. I went this weekend, I was the only customer and there were several employees waiting for business to pick up. I had purchased (and always do) a groupon coupon for oil change and tire rotation. My butt just hit the chair in the waiting area and I was told my car was ready. No way. Usually they bring out the air filter in the glove box and let me decide if I want a new one, and go thru a detailed explanation of what was done. That didn't happen. I asked if the tires were rotated, because it was in the bay for such a short time, and he said, "they didn't need it, I measured them myself." But, I had paid for a rotation and I just did not get that feeling of trust I have always had with this location. I was told I could come back for a few rotation, so I guess I have one in the bank. Another unusual aspect, usually they meet you outside the building and drive your car in. Not this time, and I had to climb out over the pit (I'm 68). I do not think I will go back, I suspect the old guard has changed, the franchise sold, but something is amuck. I don't have a feeling of trust and comfort in the work. read more

Worst service ever. I showed up 10:15, only 1 person working. He told me the oil change would take a while since he was the only employee. I came back later to be told that they are out of stock of the oil I used last time, but his corporate office told him he could upgrade the oil and give me a $15 off the premium oil change, but I Couldn't use the coupon I had. My wife took one of our cars in for an oil change. She said the person working on the car seemed to be having trouble. Also, they marked on her invoice that they had vacuumed the floors and washed the exterior windows. They had not. I understand not vacuuming due to Covid, but why not wash the windows? And why mark that they had? But the real problem is this: when she got home I noticed that the chrome trim piece on the front of the hood was dangling. Four of the five mounting clips were broken. (This was the "trouble" they had.) When I called the shop, the manager, "Nate", put someone else on the phone to discuss the issue. He insisted that it was impossible for them to have broken the it. He said, "we open hoods all day long, we know what we're doing. And besides, your car was in bad shape when you brought it in anyway." As though the fact that the car is old makes it okay for them to break stuff? Finally he said I'd have to call the corporate office. I asked him for his name so that I could provide it to customer service and he hung up. I called back and Nate refused to tell me whom I had spoken to. I called customer service and left a message. The shop was supposed to call me back but I never got a response so I've ordered the part myself. It didn't cost me a fortune, but it did cost Jiffy Lube our business. Sometimes things go wrong; how a business handles problems is a sure sign of its integrity. read more

Despite visiting Jiffy Lube locations for years and years, I have never had an experience where I didn't feel like I was being taken for a ride or forced into trying to get something done just because I am a woman. It had always made me wary to get my oil changed on my own (without a male coming with me) till I visited this location for the first time after moving to Tennessee. Not only did they take the time to explain what could wait and why and what couldn't and why, they also gave me tips for care of my vehicle on my own in between oil changes! I appreciated the above and beyond customer service and attentiveness. Most of all, I enjoyed their honesty and willingness to share their knowledge with someone who is not as mechanically minded. I've never had a worse experience at a car repair shop. The second I pulled in, a worker yelled from underneath my car, "Yo who the f**k is the r****d behind the wheel?! Shut the f**king car off!" He was fully unaware I could hear him. With a cousin who has autism, first of all, that language should never be used, and second of all, 2 F bombs in a sentence at someone who is PAYING you to work is definitely not acceptable. I also had on an Ole Miss shirt and two of the workers proceeded to make fun of me for going to that university, calling me stupid and saying how it "explains a lot about my driving." I've taken my car here a couple of times to get an oil change. I'm only as loyal as my Groupons but these guys have done a fine job. Yes, they try to sell you things that could probably wait but all oil change places do this. So far they haven't messed up my oil changes and the usually remember to vacuum out the car. I find the mechanics to be respectful and courteous. The last time that I visited it was pretty busy and I was still in and out in 30 minutes. read more

VERY overpriced. Another location told me on phone it is $43 upcharge over Groupon for full synthetic oil. Ended up being $57. I know they can charge what they want but the oil I used costs $39 at the store. So why $57 IN ADDITION to the oil I already paid for? I guess because it is assumed people who want full synthetic have money to burn. I sent a message to their customer service. Not even a "buzz off". There are many other places to go before I'll consider them again. read more
