    I came here for a scheduled oil change for good ol' Charlie (2006 Honda Civic). As in the past, I didn't feel like I was up-charged for anything and Alan, the manager behind the front desk was pretty straightforward and honest. As part of an oil change, they do inspect your vehicle (fluid levels, air filters, tires, etc) I did have a nail on my rear tire, which they got patched quickly. He also suggested a tire rotation, as he said the front tires were starting to wear faster than the back. I told him I'll do it at Costco for free and he was fine with that; no trying to convince me to do it now for $$. He even said they might patch my tire for free too, but I didn't want to risk coming back, if they didn't, so I elected to just get it patched there. I also asked how my extremely low mileage car (under 80K, but 12-years old) should get more preventative care, considering its age, and he said there's nothing to worry about as long as I keep doing the maintenance routines. A dishonest mechanic would probably feed into that, but he didn't. He said Hondas and Toyotas are built to last and mentioned that he had a 2003 Toyota Camry, and has over 300K, and trying to push it to 500K. Their waiting area consists of 5 or so chairs, coffee, hot water, and a blaring TV of daytime talk shows (I didn't know Rachel Rey had a show, let alone, they were celebrating her 200th episode that day). There's a cool looking recharging station that you can use. It has plugs for your iPhone (early generation to lightning cable) and of course Android mini-USB plugs. The place can get loud, with the TV, incoming foot traffic, and the employees calling customers that their vehicles are ready, but then again, this isn't a library. I'm just noting this because I was counting on working and taking conference calls while waiting, and if you were planning on too, keep this aforementioned noise level in mind. Overall, the whole ordeal took under an hour, which is not bad. Pro-tip: Go to the Firestone website and look for coupons/deals; it seems there is always one for a standard oil change. BATHROOM REVIEW: A single stall bathroom located behind the kiosks, the Firestone bathroom was pleasantly decent. There was a giant dallop of poo in the bowl that I guess the flushing streams of water couldn't clear, but other than that, as I said, was decent. There was a sink, soap, and a paper towel dispenser, along with a hand dryer. Interestingly, there was no trash can in the bathroom, so not sure where to put used paper towels (or whatever you may need to discard... heroin needles?) Just kidding. Anyways, sit or squat? Squat.

    Five very bright stars for professional and efficient service! Thank you, Gordon!! I went to the "stealership" to check on a few car issues and they informed me that I had a nail in my tire. I asked if they could patch it up but the dealership proceed to try to sell me new tires (of course I would "need" two because they would "need to be balanced"). They quoted me around $500.00 for tires and service but backed off when I informed them I had a Firestone warranty on my current tires. I promptly made an appointment online on Firestone's website (super easy) and one of their team people called me right away to inquire upon the size of tire I needed. Drove in this morning and in less than an hour (I ate lunch next door), Gordon and his awesome staff fixed the issue and I picked up my car. I saved $500.00 and a huge headache! Gordon was the consummate gentleman and I will forever be buying tires from Firestone because of this experience. Note: this location also had chips and sandwiches on site which I thought was the nicest touch. Thank you. As for the stealership, they will be getting an ear-whopping from me.

    These guys will up sell you any chance they get. They smile in your face but are worst than a used car salesman. They are simply terrible. They will quote you one price and at check you will have a bunch of surprises. Find somewhere else, these guys are hustlers. Update: I went in for a refund on charges like roadside hazard which was their decision to add on and found out there's a cash back program Mr. Israel denied. I had to read the fine print to figure it out. I asked him if he knew me and why would he go out of his way to scam me out of my money, especially during these times of crisis. Shame on you!!!!!!

    Getting new tires on the whip

    There are two other firestone locations in a 5 mile radius of this one but I'll only take my business here. This location has been the most careful with my car, also they price match and there are no bait switches here like the other shops. Place is always full but they keep their word on what time to finish. Time conscious staff, also very helpful to all their customers,happy after having all 4 tires replaced with warranty. They also do free inspections and monthly deals. Call ahead is my advice the wait is less. Thanks to Jessie, cordon for the help!

Also identified my brakes were at their end of life and offered to replace. Their quote for 4 new brake pads was extremely reasonable. By 1:45 my car was done being serviced and I went back to pick it up. Easy check out. No line. Very nice staff. A complete success.     Overall, I had a good experience with Ashland Tire & Auto. I brought my car in for exhaust repairs,…read moreand they completed the work the same day. The repair cost seemed fair, though on the higher end of the expected range. One issue came up afterward: when I picked up the car, the tire pressure light was on. I initially assumed it was nothing serious, but by the following evening, one tire was completely flat. To be clear, I understand there's no way to know for sure whether the tire was damaged while the car was at the shop or while I was driving it home or the following day. I genuinely acknowledge that uncertainty. That said, the timing concerned me. I took the car to Just Tires, where I had purchased all four of the tires in 2022. I was told that the flat tire could not be repaired and needed to be replaced. Replacing two tires, which is fairly typical (depending on tread wear and matching) was recommended. The total cost, including tax and installation, was about $575. I discussed the situation with Ken Papas at Ashland Tire, and I appreciate the way he handled it. He didn't dismiss my concern, but he also fairly pointed out that neither of us could pinpoint when the damage occurred. He offered $150 toward the replacement cost, which I accepted. I think that was a reasonable, good-faith gesture, even though covering the cost of one tire would have felt more satisfying. I'm leaving a positive review because the exhaust issue has been resolved (so I assume the original repair was done correctly) and because Ken handled an uncertain situation professionally. I'd consider using Ashland Tire & Auto again.

    The team at United Tires is not only incredibly speedy, helpful, but they also don't mansplain. I…read morerecently had a sidewall blowout on a run flat so I drove over to United Tires. Service was speedy, and when asking about my replacement they didn't try to oversell or assume I didn't know what I was talking about. I am on the verge of getting a full new set of tires, and they didn't push back when I opted for the cheapest single run flat to get me by until I replaced the full set. After the service, they also replaced the soon to be dead battery in my key fob without me asking or charging me. Really great team and wonderful service.

After waiting an hour for the service, I was informed that wheel never arrived and I have to wait another week until they get the wheel. My question is , why service was scheduled if part didn't arrived. Three business days later , nobody even tried to contact me to solve this issue. Once I addressed that , in very distracting form I was told that nobody would solve my problem and I will get a refund. I don't need a refund, I need service done . No other solutions were offered. So, from his words, it my fault that they cannot provide the service. Even better. Still blames me for bad behavior with his staff , how about 2 hours I spent at your location because your employees cannot check if they have a part. Last thing, your supply chain problems will not bother customer with proper communication. Poorest customer service I would recommend to avoid this place at all cost, because at the end of the day, it going to be your fault that they can not do something.
