    Been bringing my car here for years. The attendants are usually very friendly and helpful. They are not pushy at all and I feel confident bringing my car here. On this visit I brought my car for a routine oil change. I had to wait about 20 minutes for my car to be serviced, most times I come I'm lucky and I usually don't have a wait. But the wait isn't bad they got to my car right away. The only downside was that a friendly mouse kept appearing in the waiting room which was very unsettling. Otherwise I've had no bad experiences here.

    Cleared my inspection next day at a different service point.

    BE CAREFUL, they are the worst and all game for money, if you go for oil change, they ll come up with atleast 1or 2 findings which most probably would be wipers and AC/air filter change and they charged me 10$ saying that we replaced a bulb in the left blinker without even asking me first, I also wonder if they run the diagnostics which in most service centers is free, MOST IMPORTANTLY never go there for UBER/LYFT inspection they make stupid recommendations if you don't comply they ll fail the test, which most probably would be the things I already mentioned above and TIRE change for sure. I mean who says inspection is 20$ PASS or FAIL ??? No one I went to so far for inspection said that, I should have walked away but was in rush so ...They have already been trained for this kind of stuff, I went to other places recommended and cleared the inspection. I hope the management or head will take this seriously. SO BEWARE, READ ALL THE REVIEWS. I am never going back there. This review is only for Jiffy Lube on N western/Pratt. Thanks and stay safe

    The right side windshield, which this location said "the wiper blade was not cleaning."  Looks clean to me.

    UPDATE 3:35 PM: Now the vehicle initially "failed" because, at first, it was the tire depth measurement. Then it was because the tire was bad... so they say. Neither of these (non)issues were brought to my attention while I was there, but the initial issue has been resolved, but I'm still going to leave this review up for now. This should not have happened. UPDATE 2:08PM: Just got a call from Robert at this location. He wants me to bring the vehicle back so he can take a look at it himself. I'll update when that happens. If you want an Uber or a Lyft inspection, this is not the place to do it. Came in today for an oil change and Uber inspection. Oil change went fine, but this location FAILED my Uber inspection because of...get this...my right wiper blade. They told me that it "wasn't cleaning the window properly". I call BS. In the photo below, which was taken a few minutes after leaving and after using my wipers and fluid, you can see that the window is cleaned perfectly. CLEANED. PERFECTLY. This was obviously an attempt to try and scam money off of me - because they charge you for an inspection plus tax whether it's pass or fail - and they decide who passes and who fails. The person that handed me back my keys was even shocked at that, asking me to run my wipers and spray fluid on the windshield so he could see for himself. Couldn't believe it but he was powerless to do anything about it. You best believe I won't be coming back here, for any reason.

I'd replaced the battery before, so I tried that again... nothing. My (very mechanically inclined) husband tried too--still nothing. That kicked off the search for a replacement, and wow--what a frustrating experience. The dealership quoted me $600 to replace and program a new key. Automotive locksmiths were all over the place--$180, $250--and the whole process felt vague and transactional, like you couldn't get a straight answer without jumping through hoops. Then I found Avondale Auto Repair through the Costco Auto Program--and everything changed. Rick answered the phone, and within seconds I felt reassured. He was straightforward, knowledgeable, and refreshingly honest. Instead of trying to sell me something, he explained the pros and cons--how aftermarket keys often don't last, and how they source directly from the dealer but can usually save customers about $100. No pressure. Just real, helpful information. When I came in, that same feeling continued. The shop itself is clean, bright, and welcoming--nothing like the typical auto repair environment. Nathan (Rick's brother-in-law) was at the front desk and immediately made us feel comfortable. Friendly, genuine, and incredibly helpful. Before recommending anything, he opened up my key and inspected it to confirm it wasn't just a battery issue. That alone told me everything--I wasn't being upsold. They were actually trying to help.     I used to come to this place all the time when I was having car issues, and they were friendly,…read morefast, and not too horribly pricy. I don't know what happened in the last few years. I guess they're under new management or something, because now they're a bunch of cheats, just trying to rip you off. I went there a couple years back with a brake issue. They insisted that my calipers needed to be replaced and it was going to cost just shy of $1,000.00 . I wound up taking the vehicle to a friend of a friend in hopes of getting a slight discount, and it turns out my calipers were fine! I just needed pads and rotors, which wound up costing significantly less. Went there again with another brake issue. This time, my brake fluid was leaking and I couldn't safely drive fast. I wouldn't have gone here after the last time, but it was late at night, this was the only place open, and I needed the car fixed ASAP for work. They look at it and tell me I need a whole new drum and shoe on one of my rear wheels. They tell me exactly what parts I'll need, and to save time and money, I go to autozone myself to pick them up. The wheel cylinder I needed wasn't in stock, but Autozone told me it cost about $15.00. Back at Marathon, they tell me they'll pick up the wheel cylinder the next day and do the repair. The next day, I go to pick up the car, and they show me the bill. The wheel cylinder they bought cost over $100.00, and they never thought to call me and ask if I was okay with that (I wasn't.). Then I found out that the drum I got was the wrong kind, but they said it was fine cause they didn't need to replace the drum after all. Yet there was still a labor charge on my bill for replacing it! Plus, I actually had to ask them to give me the drum back so I could return it to Autozone. Apparently they were just going to keep it. On top of all that, I had warned them that my window glass wasn't sitting right in the frame and they couldn't roll it down or it wouldn't roll back up properly. When I picked up the car, I saw my window sitting crooked in the frame and stuck so I couldn't fix it. I asked them to fix it since they obviously ignored my warning about it, and they said they couldn't. One more time, I brought my vehicle here for repairs (because I guess I'm crazy and didn't learn my lesson the last time), I was having transmission problems. And again, I would've preferred to go elsewhere, but it was late and this is the only place that was open within 10 miles of me. I figured I was leaking fluid and maybe needed a new pan. They looked at it and told me my transmission was broken beyond repair and needed to be replaced, to the tune of more than $2500.00 (almost as much as my whole car is worth!). I think you can guess what happened. I wound up waiting 'til the next day and taking it elsewhere, where I found out it was a leaky pan and low fluid. Total repair cost was not even a couple hundred. That was several months ago, and the transmission is running perfectly fine since then. The final straw was tonight. Oh yes, I was stupid enough to go back one more time. This time, it was just to replace a tire. I figured they can't really try to scam me on a simple tire change. Maybe not, but they can still be incredibly inconsiderate! When I pulled in, they told me there were a few cars ahead of me, but they'd get to me soon and I should wait for a bit. An entire hour goes by before the manager tells me they're too busy and I should come back in the morning. Are you freakin' kidding me!? You knew how busy you were when I rolled in there. THAT was the time to tell me to leave. Not after I've wasted a whole hour waiting around. I don't care what business you're in, you don't treat your customers like that. So, I don't care if they're the only place open 24 hours, I'm not coming back here for anything, not even gas. I bet if I came here asking for them to fix a broken taillight, they'd make me wait a week and say I need to get my whole electrical system replaced. Screw this place and all the lying con-men that work there.

We've had Toyota 4runners, Range Rovers, Tahoe, suburbans, lexus, BMW convertible - and we only trust Ron and his mechanics to work on all our cars. The special sauce to Speedline is Ron and his honesty along with skill. This is an industry that can easily take advantage of people, but Ron will NEVER do that. Can't tell you how many times he tells me I don't need tires or work done, etc. In fact, when we were in LA for 2 years, something didn't feel right in the car (Suburban) as we drove the I-5 highway for 6 hours to Sonoma. Instead of pulling into a gas station or mechanic along the way, we pulled over and called Ron. He told us exactly what to do and what not to do- and then exactly what to do once we got to our destination. When our safety was at risk - we called Ron; nobody is more honest, trustworthy. I've also sat in his lobby while waiting for repairs on my car(s) many times. My experience every time I've witnessed a customer complain or even yell at Ron (or his employees) are those that are rude, demanding and likely have unreal expectations - no matter where they go. Highly recommend Speedline, Ron and his mechanics/techs!!!
