Why can't there be negative stars? It is August 21 2025 and my ac in my RAV4 broke. Water was spraying into my car. Ac was making a terrible noise. There wasn't any air blowing out. I was afraid of the bill, so I drove for a month like this in July to August in 95 degree heat. It was hot! My son blew out the pipe behind the ac and that stopped the water, he checked the freon and it was good, and he changed out the filters. What little air you can feel is cold but there is no air blowing out, and there is a chemically smell being emitted, and a rattling noise. I finally took the car to Firestone. The technician said there was nothing wrong with my AC!!!! No air blowing out, but there is nothing wrong. Now I am glad they didn't charge me more than $30 to tell me that idiocy, but seriously, how can you possibly say the ac is fine if it is not blowing air? I will never go back there, and I will make sure that everyone I know stays far away. Techs that are that ignorant shouldn't be allowed near a car. read more

I no not go to mechanics unless there is a job I can not do or do not want to do. Alignments are one of those things, so I bought a lifetime alignment for our Land Rover and take it in once a year. Almost any Firestone will do the work. It was time for an alignment so I scheduled an appointment with the Columbia shop and arrived at my appointment time - they were ready for me, pulled my Rover in and took care of the job quickly. I was totally expecting them to come out with a list of work that I needed to have done. Nope, they made one recommendation for a non-critical repair that I already knew about and did not pressure me at all to get the work done. If I ever do decide to take one of our cars in for repair, I would absolutely consider this Firestone location. read more

Horribly rude staff. Went to Gateway Tire (their main competitor) and was very happy with Gateway.

So on a positive note some employees were working hard and friendly. The rest, terrible. Went in on a Thursday afternoon after calling and asking and arrived about 230. 455 comes around and I'm told they can't align my Jeep due to bolts that won't break lose. Ok, this stuff happens. I asked how much it would cost me and was told $380 total. I asked when parts could be in and when they could do the work. I was told parts would be in 730 the next morning and they could do the work the next day. I told them ok, put me down and I will be in around 9. A friendly confirmation and they said see you then. Called at 830 to verify parts arrived, nope. They said they would call me back and let me know when they are in. Ok by me, these things happen right? I got a call around 1030 stating parts are in but they are in a busy. I asked when should I come in so they could preform alignment. I was told 1 o'clock. Ok. I told them I would be there at 1, put me down for repair. Response was ok, we'll see you then. Arrived at 1250, Jeep was pulled into bay about 320. So these things happen and I'm still just dealing with it. Jeep was ready at 4, finally, I can leave. I was told they took so long because they didn't have time for my repair today. Didn't have time? Even though I was there yesterday, scheduled to come back, called ahead of time, and confirmed again before I drove and waited. Next, Bill was over $500. Why? Because alignment is $95 and the total you were given didn't include alignment. Why? I asked for a total cost and was told total cost $380. I understand tax and shop labor costs, but tell me a total up front when I ask and don't waste a day and a half of my time because you either don't want to work on, or employees can't work on, or whatever reason I'm pushed to the end of the day after having called ahead and set appointment times. Never again with firestone. I know places that are worse. Starting to think this customer service is nothing less than an expensive and deceitful dis-service. read more

We have this past year become a regular customer of this Firestone shop. Oil changes, alignment, etc., and now a new set of tires for our Pilot. Very courteous, on time, service as promised, and reasonable pricing. As long as they meet our expectations we will trade with these folks. read more

I special ordered tires days ago, and after sitting in the waiting room for 90 min, they tell me they cannot install my tires on my rims because they are custom rims. They referred me to a competitor to have them installed. And why the 90 min wait ?! It's been up on the racks the entire time, I can see it !! read more

When I walk in here and there are 2 cars in the parking lot 1 in the stall and your told its going to be a long wait. When asked how long was told its going to be a long wait. Worst experience. I went in just for an oil change with my Audi A6 2004 back in November. When I got in my car the brake light, ABS and little triangle light were going off. I drove around the building to see if it would turn off and of course not. Went directly back in and asked, "What did you do to my car." This young gentlemen looked and me and said he didn't know and let him ask his manager. After a few minutes he said call Audi he thinks he just unplugged something. I called Audi and asked if I should worry and they said no just bring it in when I could. So about a month later I took it in and they said it would cost about $3200 to fix just some of it.
