Came here about 25 minutes after opening and they were kinda already packed. But they were able to put new tires on my BMW pretty quick. I didn't have to wait long for the guys to get the job done. Horrible customer service. Both my husband and I called on the same day and the lady, Susan, was rude to both of us. She was short and unfriendly and didn't seem to want to book an appointment for us. We were calling to get our brake fluid changed because the service was recommended by another Firestone in CA. She acted like we didn't know what we were talking about and should not be changing it. She put us both on hold several times in the middle of the conversation and even told my husband that she had 5 people in line as if he was causing her some inconvenience by calling. We also took our car to this shop before and they recommended several services that had all -just- been done on our car. The timing belt, spark plugs and coolant were all brand new and yet they had written on our recommendations that we should get all three replaced. They apparently had done an inspection on our car, but obviously it was not a thorough one and they were simply recommending the services that are listed in the manual for this mileage. This firestone also missed the fact that our brake fluid most obviously needed changing and did not even write that down on the inspection page when the firestone in CA had caught it earlier. So, try out another Firestone maybe or go somewhere else unless you want to have the important stuff your car needs overlooked and then be paying out your nose to have things done that your car does not need done. The customer service alone would drive me away as well. We're going to the Honda dealership from now on. read more

My tire was flat this morning with a bolt that needed professional help to get off so I had to get a tow to firestone (horrible start to my day) .... but patrick and sam took off the stubborn bolt and replaced my tire free of charge and were also very nice! My "check tire pressure" light came on during a crazy week of exams. I rolled into Firestone 15 min before they opened and the door was unlocked! Got some air and was out the door by opening time. And the guy gave me a pressure gauge for free! For a first time car owner and grad student, I really appreciated the quick service and freebies! I am constantly disappointed with their lack of timeliness and quality of service. Not once have they had our vehicles done on time (often missing the expected time by several hours) the only work around for this is dropping the car off indefinitely and hoping it's done before they close. I have to bring to their attention when there is a special on a service or coupon (the coupons are often on the counter in front of them) Maybe they are overworked and understaffed? I know how that goes after working in service industry as well as running 3 businesses. But there is no excuse for miscommunication on what and when a job is to be done. It takes people many resources to get back to a shop to get their vehicle- it's frustrating when you get there and have to wait several more hours. The last appointment was for a simple oil change and they said it would be ready in an hour now it's 6 hours late. Completely unacceptable. I have been a faithful customer at firestone for years and have had many pleasent experiences in the past. Brandon and Kody have both worked on my cars and have been very polite and helpful. That being said though, recently the shop seems to have come under new management. George, I believe his name is, was very unruly towards some of the staff. This in turn created a very tense and unpleasant environment to be in. If that wasn't enough though, George had added work to the ticket that I was not informed of and charged me nearly 4 times what my original estimate was for my oil change, tire rotation, and alignment inspection. Remember, it takes years to earn trust... And only seconds to lose it. I will not be returning until either Kirk or Kevin take over the shop again. George yelling at the the rest of the team should not be tolerated. I know that will not recommend anyone else going to the firestone on Colorado blvd anytime soon. read more

Not Veteran friendly!!! I have been to this Firestone location on many occassions over the last 5 years. The service has obscenely declined. Today's visit resulted in losing a repeat customer with a huge social media following thanks to George A at the counter. He offered many excuses on why I couldn't get my oil changed. First, I was told I would have to wait "3-4 hours" to get the oil changed. I said I will come back in 3 hours to get it changed. Then George said I couldn't do that. Then he said you can wait an hour, I said Ok. But then George said No come back on Thursday. I declined and said I will go out an find an actual miitary vet friendly business. George A, you must learn to treat and accomodate customers because you never know what that person has been through or how they have helped countless others. I know plenty of people who would appreciate employment and not jerk anyone around. read more

I'm new to the area and scheduled a routine tire rotation for the first time with Firestone and this branch in particular. I scheduled online, expecting the entire visit to take no more than an hour at the very most. When I showed up to my 8am appointment, the front desk attendant had me wait for about 5 minutes while he continuously answered the phones. When he found my appointment, he said that I was scheduled to pick up at 4pm, which I did NOT specify online. Since I didn't expect a company known for its expertise in tires to take a full eight hours to perform a simple tire rotation, I asked if there was any way they could have it done by 9:30am (I scheduled this early on purpose so I wouldn't have to be without a car for longer than an hour), and he said no because he had other appointments scheduled. He was in no way accommodating. I left and went to Grease Monkey down the street, where they were MUCH more attentive and the entire tire rotation took 30 minutes, and I was out the door. I will definitely not be returning to Firestone! read more

This is a trustworthy operation. I brought my parents, car in for a new battery and was told it wasn't necessary to replace at this time, that the lack of use was causing the problem. This place stays in business due to the benefit of having a great location not a great business staff. I have been trying to get in for a while, but due to traveling with my car for a living (and never being sure when I will be back in town), making an appointment is difficult. If you decide to go here a tip to the wise- DO NOT try to walk in. They NEVER have time. Oh and if you are trying to get in soon and call for an appointment and they tell you they are free now and just come on down, still make an appointment. Otherwise when you get there 40 minutes later the person at the front desk will just tell they have no more time for the rest of the day and tell you to try tommorow. The worst! I made a appointment online to get my tires rotated. Received 2 confirmation emails. Even showed up early. I was told by Steven that my 1 o'clock appointment was actually a 12-5 time slot which I was already late for! Accordingly to him someone should should have called me but he guesses they didn't. I was also told that because I scheduled online my car wasn't a priority and that they would get to and have it done after 5. Waste of my time and my day! Called their corporate customer service and found out because I didn't call (no one was answering the phone) and because I booked online( it is 2020 after all) the store doesn't receive credit for my rotation. So even though I bought my tires, firestone is not honoring their appointments or the rotations that came with the purchase. Still waiting on a call from their "area manager" and will probably file a complaint with the better business bureau. read more

I went to firestone for the first time. When I made the appointment online, I mentioned I wanted new tires and to fix the leaks. When I got there I was told it would take 2 hours to complete. Well at the 2 hour mark an employee came in the waiting room to tell me they were just getting started on my car. They hadn't even started my tires. They didn't fix my leak and when I asked them why they hadn't started on anything in the 2 hours my car was just sitting there, the mechanics reply was, "I don't know". It took them 3hrs for tires. Customers were waiting minutes on end for someone to come help them, while the employees walk around aimlessly and ignore the customers in the waiting room. Customers were forced to wait longer than they were told and were not happy. After the 3 hours it took them to do my tires and look at the leaks, I told them my low tire pressure light was still on. The same mechanics response, "drive around for 10min and if it doesn't go off then bring it back." no. you are supposed to fix it but once again another shop that doesn't turn the warning lights off so I have to figure it out myself. read more

When the husband comes to me and says, "would you write a review for Firestone?", you know it is either going to be a 1 star or 5 star review. Firestone has been servicing the Husband's sacred SUV for years. First it was Blue, the Blazer. They did all the stuff under the hood as well as keeping it aligned and with good tires. This is important as the husband really does use an SUV for its true off road purpose. They send him coupons which thrills his little heart. And the guys always greet him and then call him through out the day to let him know the condition of his vehicle. And because of Firestone's care, Blue lived a long and purposeful life and died peacefully in our garage. And now with the new CRV, they are giving it the same care as with Blue. What precipitated this review was the fact that the Firestone guys accepted an expired coupon from the Husband and that thrilled him to sing the praise of Firestone. read more

These guys are very bad. I came in at 10:30 for routine brake repair and the associate said it would take 2-3 hours. After 4 hours I asked what was going and he gave me an estimate. At that point, they started doing work and said it would two hours. Three hours I'm still waiting and listening yo customer after customer complain about a myriad of issue. I later find out that they received an incorrect part not once, but twice. To me, they are completely disorganized and don't understand other peoples time. The associate is very rude to unhappy customers and is not be being honest. I will never go to a Firestone again! read more

I had used these guys for tires and minor repair but but Honda stopped running in the middle of the road. After $800+ in repairs, same thing happened again. Took it to Honda dealer. Ignition recall repair for free. Firestone made all sorts of repairs that were unnecessary and irrelevant. Will not go there again. read more

I have used Firestone for over ten years but will never go back to this location!!!! I brought my car in for an issue and they told me that they knew what the problem was and it would cost $650 to fix it and all would be good. So of course I paid them, but not even 2 hours of driving it after picking it up it had the same problem!!!!! I brought it back in and they were "baffled" and told me my only choice was to pick it up and continue driving it bc they couldn't get it to replicate the issue when they test drove it. Of course it broke down again and had to be towed to the Firestone location in Arvada. They didn't know how to fix it either so it was towed to the dealership and I was told I needed a whole new transmission. So I wasted $650 of initial payment to Firestone and now have a $3100 bill. NOT COOL!!! if u don't know how to fix something then why say u do and charge me?? They suck. read more

My power steering fluid was leaking, it ended up being the pressure hose that was leaking so I needed it replaced. Try quotes me that it was going to $550. I called my father in law who is a mechanic in Florida at a private shop. He said they were charging me double. He could get a pressure hose directly from Honda for $160 and labor should not be over $100. I told them that and the guy said he would check around for cheaper hoses. He supposedly found another one but it was only $100 cheaper so I just got it fixed. Pretty much the guy lied to me since I called him out. I will never go back there because they rip you off. He said they normally get their part from napa and it just happen to be this time it was more expensive than another shop they got my hose from. In other words they over charged me and ended up lowering the price because I called them out. read more

Went to get new tires and was told I should replace the struts and that it needed alignment. I went ahead with the recommendations and have had problems every since. Took it back and had less firm struts installed and it still has the ride of a tank and pulls to the right. I will be taking it to another mechanic that I trust to correct the problems. This place is a joke. The only bright side was dealing with the claims department. I took my car in to get a new set of tires and they damaged my bumper causing over 1500 dollars in damage. The claims department was very nice and paid for the damage, but it took over 6 weeks to deal with the issue. The manager over at the store denied that the damage was done at the location and the mechanic claimed it was damaged when we brought it in. Don't go to this location. read more

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I have never had a more terrible experience with a car shop in my life. I had to return 3 times from an oil change gone wrong, then I tried to take it elsewhere for an oil change & the other shop wouldn't touch it bec they said the wrong plug was put in. I called back & even tho I didn't want to go back, the only way I could get it fixed without more cost was to return. The manager (woman I forget name) assured me they would order the correct part for my VW & that it was fixed. 2 weeks later I noticed the oil was leaking. I took it to another firestone location, they pulled up the notes from this store where it CLEARLY said the pipe was stripped and needed to be replaced - the manager at this store had told me even after my bad experience that the part was fine and didn't need to be repaired. I have had such a horrible experience with this place from everything - tires (missing caps / hub caps), oil change (destroyed oil pan & lied to me about it) , tire pressure light (ya drive around for an hour and it will turn off - never did) & the amount of time they always tell me thing will be done by - ends up taking 6+ hours for a simple thing. Don't trust this place or the manager. They will lie to you and take your $$ and then lie again. Worst experience of my life read more

I took my car in about a month ago to fix intermittent starting. After keeping it a few days, they said the ignition coil needed to be replaced. I had them replace that for $500 (a third of the value of my car!) and when my car acted up in the same manner a few weeks after that, I was incredibly frustrated. Being stranded and having co workers come to pick you up is no fun! I took it back to Firestone to have them correct their work, to which they said now the starter was bad! I expressed my displeasure and skepticism of the whole situation, and after having frank discussions with Kirk and Kevin (Managers) they did a great job explaining how the issues, although coincidental, were completely non related. On top of that, they completed the necessary work at a price that way exceeded my expectations: $0. Not saying everyone will get this, but they really are all about providing the best customer service and making you happy. Kevin is a great manager who values business, not a bottom line that benefits only Firestone. read more

I went here for the first time, and I was rather scared after reading the reviews. I have been to the location off of Parker Road, and I decided to try it anyway. I had a great experience here, I went for an oil change/engine oil filter change. They had it done in a timely fashion, exactly what they had promised. As a female, some might think that I'm more likely to be taken advantage of, but I am familiar with cars. I never had them try to take advantage of me or upsell me on anything at all. I had absolutely no rude behavior to me by the management. The man at the desk who helped me had an accent from another country, I don't know his name, but he was so nice and helpful. There were also three other women waiting, so for anyone who is concerned, I saw a lot of women by themselves getting car service. I realize it's hard to take advantage of me because I am familiar with what the manufacturer recommends, but I didn't have any issues of them even trying to say anything. They also check everything out on the car, and they were very honest about my good tires and my good battery too (which are easy things to lie about). I will definitely be returning, and I wanted to say that I had a very different experience than some of the other reviewers. I hope they keep up the great work! read more

Alternator died on a Saturday night and I had it fixed by Sunday afternoon. I had a Napa lifetime guarantee alternator and Firestone honored it (semi reluctantly) so they got the replacement from Napa. Since this was all on Sunday afternoon, I had to wait a few hours for Napa to deliver the part that was at their warehouse (not at a store location I/Firestone could just pickup). But they replaced it quickly (it's not a hard job) and cheaply ($65). Tips to consider, always save the receipts (I wouldn't have gotten a free part without it). I was there for about 3 hours, but really can't complain for a Sunday, and instead of paying almost $300 I got out only paying $65. Would definitely recommend to a friend. read more

They are rude, ignorant, have absolutely no customer service whatsoever they will tell you straight to your face that you are a liar and they are right, oh and apparently they try to tack on the most expensive service/product available and laugh about it with all the other employees in the back. We went in a few weeks back and the mechanic said that we needed a new radiator, engine gasket, and water pump which added up to over 1000 dollars. When we went for a second opinion at a local mechanic, he only found that my car needed a new thermostat, a total of 84 bucks. My car runs great now. Bottom line.......DO NOT GO TO FIRESTONE!! We were contacted by a representative almost immediately after posting our complaint. The situation was then referred to management, they also contacted us in a very timely manner. I brought my car in for an oil change and was planning on selling in a few short weeks. I let them no that when I brought it in. I said, "I am not going to put anymore money into the car, I am selling it. I only want the oil change". They removed my serpentine belt that was fraying and refused to put it back on because it was too "damaged" to put back on. They wanted $150 to put a new one on. They made me sign a waiver to drive my now "unsafe" car off the lot and were very rude to me. read more

I went to this Firestone because the check engine light came on in my car. When I received a follow up call I was told I had two nails in my tire that could not be patched and "legally" they could not replace just one and I would have to purchase two tires. I was quoted 340.00 for two new tires and if I wanted the equivalent to the tires that were currently on my car it would be another $80.00. It had only been a year and half since I purchased all new tires and driven less than 12,000 since the tires were purchased. I told the guy to leave the tire on that I was going to take it to the place I purchased the tires and have them assess it. Sure enough the next morning took my car to Discount Tire and they said if I did need to replace the tire I would only need to replace one as the tire tread on all four tires was fine. After they did look at the tire turns out their were two nail and both could be repaired at zero cost to me. My gut told me I was being scammed and I am glad I listened to it. I saved at least $340.00 by walking away from this place. read more

I had the worst experience here last week. I was driving to work and my low tire pressure light came on so I looked for the nearest place to have my tire checked and this was the place. A guy named George helped me and asked if I could drop off my car for the day so they could check out what was going on when they got a chance since I didn't have an appointment which was fine. Later that day they called me and said that there was a nail on the side of my tire that was not patchable and that I would need a new tire. Since I had just gotten all brand new tires not even a month ago from another place - I did not want to get a new tire through them and asked them to just put my spare and I would take it back to the place I got my tires for them to check out. George told me it would not cost anything at all for them to put on my spare but when I went to pick up my car they charged me over $20 to just put on my spare.. Later that week I took it to the place I had my tires originally put on by (TDS) in Arvada and the guy took me out to my car to show me that the nail was actually not on the side of my tire and was located on the top of my tire which was easily fixable and would not cost anything to patch up and that it would only take a few minutes. Very very disappointed that Firestone not only lied to me to try and make a commission sale off me to get a new tire when it was not needed at all but that they took advantage of me not being there to see my tire in person and thought they could just lie to get a sale! I will never go back here again and if I were you -- I would take your car to another place for at least a second opinion to see if they are trying to screw you over like they did me! read more

When I got out of my car at Best Buy on Colorado Blvd., I could hear a hissing noise coming from the front of my car. Sure enough, I had run over a nail on I-25. I got back into my car thinking I could get it to some type of auto shop close by. Then I remembered there was a Firestone on Colorado. I drove down there, and by that time my tire was completely flat. The kid at the front desk said it would be 2-3 hours to fix the tire. I asked him if they could just put my spare on as I had just had shoulder surgery. He said it would still be 2-3 hours, but would put air in my tire so I could make it to Grease Monkey up the street. As I walked back to my car, a man approached me and asked what the problem was. I told him and he said "Pull her up and we'll get that spare put on for you". What an awesome guy. His name is George Azzam and he is the General Manager. He had the kid at the front desk come out and change it for me (ha). It took 5 minutes at the most. I asked George how much it cost, and he said "no charge". I really appreciated what he did for me so I gave him a few bucks for his kindness. This is the type of service we all hope for but rarely get. Thanks again George Azzam; when the tires wear out on my car, I will be back to see you. read more
