If I could give zero stars I would. I tried to bring in a tire for repair (off the car!!) today, 7/20 at around 1pm. First, the gentleman up front stated they probably can't get to it today. Ok whatever, I work close by so I can grab it tomorrow. He looks at the tire with an obviously repairable nail puncture in the dead center of the tread. Immediately says oh no we can't repair that. You'll have to replace the tire. First off, I call complete BS on that. This isn't the first time that they declined to do any sort of work that involved a tire repair. I've been in the auto industry for 16 years and the only reason I attempted to do business here is because my shop doesn't do tires. This store is the poorest excuse for an auto repair facility that I've ever seen. I'll gladly continue to take my tire repair needs and refer my customers to other nearby facilities who actually want to make money and do repairs. Once again, if I could give zero stars I would. I have been going to Firestone locations for over 30 years, but my most recent experiences have been really bad. The local store has poor communication, poor time estimates, and seem to want to upsell at as a normal course of business. My most recent experience my son took his car to the local store for a tire plug, nail in tire, very simple. The store held the car for the entire day and called 10 min before close to share they would not be able to do the work that day. The next day they stated they could not repair the tire as it was below min spec. and new tires are needed.....this is simply not the case, the tires are worn, but likley have over a year of tread life on the tires before needing to be replaced. I had someone confirm this yesterday. Based on most recent experiences, you have lost a lifetime customer. read more

Let me start off by saying we are normally loyal Firestone customers. This is normally the only place we trust to work on our cars. This location however, we will never recommend nor return to. A couple months ago I made a reservation for a simple oil change, scheduled an appointment for 8 am, get there and I'm told that it will be at least 4 hours because they are short staffed BUT are still accepting walk ins so no one has priority. I walk out and go to valvolene and I'm in and out within 30 min. Today, I scheduled an appointment for my wife's car, a simple oil change at 9am. The team tells me that they don't follow appointment times because they are short staffed, yet they still accept walk ins. They can't control it, it's a corporate issue. I'm told there's two cars ahead of mine and it should take 2 hours max. 3pm rolls around and I call to check the status, they haven't even started on it! Who knows when they would have called to tell me. If you're short staffed, QUIT taking walk ins and stick to appointments. If you're only going to cater to walk ins, figure out how to shut off appointments. This is absolutely ridiculous and a sure as hell way to lose customers quickly. read more

This location used to provide great service, but I don't know what happened. Over the past 6 months to 1 year the service has plummeted. I experienced a handful of experiences with poor communication and poor work, but today was the last straw. My husband took his car for a state inspection at about 1:30pm knowing that it would take a while. He hung around until 3pm when he decided to just get an Uber home. The staff at the front told him that they would likely have it done between 5-6pm and that they would call him when the car was done. 5:45pm comes around with no call from Firestone so my husband called and asked for an update. They informed him that they were just starting the state inspections and reiterated they they would call him when they were done with it. We finally decided to just go down there since they closed at 7pm and it was 7:15pm with no call. When we arrived the door was locked, but one of the garage bays was open so my husband approached the technician and asked for his car. The tech told him they were closed and to come back tomorrow morning. That's an "ABSOLUTELY NOT!" from me! Any who, my husband tells him that will not work, that he was told multiple times he would be called when it was done and that he never received a call, and that he would be taking his car home with him. After a back and forth, the tech proceeds to say "ok gimme 15 mins and I'll be with you." While I'm grateful he finally made the right decision to provide an inkling of customer service, he made my husband wait outside, in the 108° heat for 15 mins while he finished a car! Bottom line: don't give this location your time or your money because they don't care about us, the actual person on the other end. read more

I can't speak to the actual services of this location because they didn't honor my appointment time. I made an appointment online for 5pm on a Friday (after work) for a brake check. My front brakes were so bad that it was literally metal on metal and became dangerous to drive. When I arrived at the location, I was told that they weren't sure why that service was scheduled at 5pm because it couldn't be done so late in the day. I was told to come back the next morning. This establishment closed at 7pm... I understand being short handed, but if you aren't going to honor services past a specific time then you need to update your website to say so. When I left, I had no plan to return the following morning as I wasn't going to risk being turned away again. Luckily, I was able to go to another company and they squeezed me in right before closing after hearing the condition my car was in. Sunday rolls around and I go in to check on my tire at 1 pm because I haven't heard anything and this manager tells me I need a new tire!!! Completely unacceptable!! Don't use online scheduling system. It is central and not associated with the store directly. There were 20 appts for the day - I arrived before store opened - second person in line. First person- can you come back tomorrow? We are busy ( while several workers sitting in bay drinking coffee and Zachariah was eating his breakfast- wearing slides into the bay - sure that's a safety hazard. ) -Me- can't find it- can you come back Wednesday- we are down two managers blah, blah, blah ( do they do the work?) Nope absolutely not. I will wait. Saw probably 20 other people told the same thing- "finishing other people's work from yesterday " ( while the cat's away (mgrs) the mice will play)- funny that some seemingly regulars were "fit in" and out the door. Zach council not be bothered to give other customers phone numbers to other stores, call the other stores to see if they had needed parts or tires- too busy doing naught. Being rude and condescending to customers is not the way to get return customers is it? Last two times I've been there they have been completely incompetent! First time they broke my TPS sensor and set the code, but let me drive off until I realized it was on then had to take it back. Today I took it to them to find out what was wrong with my AC. They had my truck eight hours and I had to call them and find out the status of my truck. I called in to get an estimate for wheel alignment and they said they'd be able to fit me in today so I scheduled an appointment at 3. The service was great and they said it would be about an hour and a half before they'd be done. I went to the store and chilled for about an hour and a half and they called me to say its ready. Overall they gave me an honest estimation for the price and the amount of time it would take. One time alignment for around $90 and a true Texan experience of southern hospitality for free. i had the worst experience here. First I had cash in the middle console part of my car and left it there before they change my tires and once I picked up the cash was gone. I quickly realized my money was gone once I got in my vehicle and went inside to speak to the manager but they apparently had no cameras so I was unable to do anything except leave a claim. I know my money was there when I left the car. Second I went to get my two front tires changed and left without looking because of the missing money once I got home my dad quickly realize they replace my two back tires not my front one but gave me documentation stating they had changed my front tires. Wish I could leave a zero!!! Left my car this morning to get 2 new tires installed and a alignment check. Let them know I get off at 5 from work today! I live in a new construction neighborhood and unfortunately have experienced three nails in my tires over the last few months. Each time they have been able to patch the tire with same day service. Service and communication has been great. I am very appreciative, as these are not even Firestone tires. Great, fast forward to next week. I had my car at the firestone 15min early for my appointment to ensure no hiccups. Again, I'd taken my car in for a diagnostic procedure to check my AC unit for proper use which is especially imperative due to this Texas heat. Two hours go by mid afternoon as me and my family are waiting, without a car, in the local area going to target and such. I call for hopefully an update on my vehicle after seeing it in the parking lot exactly where we'd left it and to my utter dissatisfaction I was informed it hadn't been seen yet. read more

I had a tire going flat, so I went and had to make an appointment. The employee was kind enough to put air in the tire. When I get to my appointment 4 days later they tell me I had to wait two hours because the technician "just left for lunch". So 1 hour for his lunch and 1 hour to fix the tire. So I said I'll come back in an hour and then I was told that it was first come first served that if I left I would lose my place. And I asked so what's the point of making an appointment If it means nothing? And all sorts of excuses started coming out. So I decided to make another appointment two days later. I get there and waited about 20 minutes in line. When it's finally my turn I asked the manager for the ETA and he tells me that because they are short staffed he can't give me a time since the tech had just gone to lunch and they don't have a set schedule so he doesn't know when they leave. I have a car that is only a few months old. I somehow got a screw in my tire and got a flat in my driveway. I'm a mom of an infant and needed to get it fixed right away so I had fix a flat put in the tire to make it so I could get to the tire shop. When I got here to patch the tire they told me they couldn't fix it because it had fix a flat in it and I would need a new tire. I called several other shops and they said they could fix and it fix a flat was just a pain to deal with but they would take care of me. I would never recommend anyone come here. I had took my car to have an oil change and just one tire replaced with a state inspection as soon as they opened ,it is now currently almost an hour before they close,so I call for an update and was told my car hasn't even been seen yet and i had 3 people ahead of me still after the lady told me it would only take until noon. New tires, rotation, and an oil change projected 2 hour job...3 1/2 hours later they were complete. a coupon was found for my oil change and I'm appreciative of that, but if the expected wait is going to be much longer, alert the customer in some form or fashion. The customer doesn't know what's going on with the car...CPU issues, alignment, etc. There's a communication issue obviously and with the pandemic going around, some folks don't want to be sitting around in the lobby waiting an additional 1 1/2 hours. Be careful doing business here! Went in to have a tire patched and they stated I needed wipers. Paid for the wipers and let them put them on. 3 weeks later went in for an oil change and guess what, they said I needed wipers... Gimmick!!! Then I thought I would give them 1 more try. Had 2 new tires put on and got the credit card on Dec 24th. Then went back and got brakes and rotors on Dec 29th since I had 6 months same as cash. What they do not tell you is the first payment is due on the first of the month!!! Yes 8 days after the first purchase, 3 days after the second. Had not even received the physical card yet!
