My experience with this Firestone location has been the most unprofessional, costly, and stressful automotive ordeal I have ever encountered. It began with a cylinder 6 misfire, which they addressed by installing new ignition coils and spark plugs, along with routine maintenance such as brake and coolant flushes. Shortly after these services, my Jeep overheated, and I was told it happened because the cooling system had an air pocket from not being bled properly. Soon after, it overheated again and I was told I needed a new water pump. When the overheating continued, they replaced the thermostat. Throughout all of this, the check-engine light kept returning, yet no one could give me a clear or consistent diagnosis. Between June and September, I returned repeatedly for the same issue. Each visit came with a different explanation, missing documentation, or incomplete diagnostics. I spent nearly $3,000, and the problem was never resolved. The ongoing failures resulted in sludge buildup inside my engine, and my warranty company has now denied over $10,000 in necessary engine repairs because of the resulting damage. While my Jeep was in Firestone's care, rodents chewed through my wiring, costing me an additional $1,200 at the dealership. When I asked the mechanic, Faustine, what the white cotton-like stuffing was under my hood, he said he did not know. When I asked the office manager, Mark, to document the rodent damage, he told me he "could not document it" and to "just video it." I even requested a third-party review, the findings were that my car failed a block test, I had 2 blown head gaskets, they used the report to say they did not cause the damage." John did attempt to help by offering free services, but those attempts only made the situation worse, not better. In the end, I was left holding the bag. After everything, senior claims manager Michael J. sent me this statement: "As the wiring damage appears to have happened after the vehicle was essentially abandoned in our parking lot, we are not assuming liability. The refund for the coolant services (services that your car would have needed regardless, by the way) that we have already offered can be used to help pay for any further damages. At this point you have our full and final offer and this file is going to be closed pending receipt of the signed release form." To make matters worse, at no point has anyone called me, even though I requested a phone conversation from the very beginning. Every response has been through email only. I called Nick, who I was told is Michael's boss -- no response. I even called the President's number that I was given -- still no response. Not one person has picked up the phone to discuss the thousands of dollars in damage caused under their care. Firestone offered to refund only the "related services," but only if I signed a waiver promising not to leave negative reviews or hold them accountable. That is completely unacceptable. read more

I get it. You are probably more likely to write a review about how Firestone did everything wrong - I'm the same way. BUT I'm taking time to write this review because I am SO impressed and appreciative! Coming home from celebrating our anniversary, we discovered our car had a screw in one tire and it was flat in the driveway. It was Sunday (the best day for those sorts of things to happen, as no one is open!!!) But Firestone was open and we were able to put enough air in to limp it over there. They called mid-afternoon to say it wasn't repairable and they didn't have the tire I needed in stock. I authorized the replacement for the next day and begged them to have my car back to me by 2pm the next day. With three kids who need to get different places each day, I was frazzled. No car rental places open and no transportation, I started looking at Uber costs to go everywhere the next day - yikes! As I was scrambling to try to make arrangements for the next day, they called back. The manager decided to send someone to another store to pickup the tire so they could complete the job same-day (again, this is a Sunday!) and he said I could come to get my car just a hair after closing time. I want to start off by saying thank you Shawn Karpiak for helping me today I went in for a oil change and tire rotation I had mentioned to him that the last time Firestone did my tire rotation at a different location they left screws in my trunked and didn't know what they were missing from he noticed while doing my oil change they were missing from the cover of the bottom of my car and my oil was leaking from a bolt that grease monkey company didn't tighten correctly he cleaned it up and fixed it and did a great job he had a great customer service and my car was serviced very fast even though they were so busy I just moved from California and I have visited a couple of different firestones for my car services and I can actually say this has been by far the best experience ever at Firestone this will be my main location here and Colorado also I forgot to mention the front counter gentlemen I forgot to get his name but he was super sweet as well he promised me a great fast experience when I explained what happened in the past and the team here at 16380 E Arapahoey is definitely Amazing and I will be back for more service thank you guys again u read more

Thank you to the two kind gentlemen working late Friday afternoon. I stopped at BigO Tires after running over something on the road and was told I had to leave my car overnight to have it checked the next day. That person could not have been more unhelpful, given that it was getting late and raining. Thankfully, my daughter called Firestone and they took care of us. Shawn was waiting for us as I drove up and Logan checked and filled all four tires in under ten minutes. They were both so pleasant and helpful, the epitome of customer service. May 2023: Oil Change on 2020 Subaru at Foxfield location. Let me start this off with the question you may be asking - why on earth would we not get our oil changed sooner?? It's because the sticker Firestone put on our windshield said we didn't need another oil change for 35K miles. For some reason we didn't think twice about it or even question it. We saw a number and until our car reached that number, we didn't think we needed an oil change. We also were unaware of the 3-4 month time frame on oil changes despite the mileage, but we do a fair amount of driving and the number on the sticker has NEVER failed us. November 2023: Smelled a chemical-burn-like odor once in a while, took the car to Firestone in Englewood. They cleaned up a small amount of oil in the pan, left the car running for about 10 minutes, no leak. The next day, my husband and I used it to jump our other car (2016 Chevy Cruze) and within a few minutes there was a HUGE oil puddle under the Subaru. We turned the car off, called around hoping someone could take us in that day. Englewood location refused because they didn't do the oil change, Foxfield said we just had to get it to them ourselves and one other shop said not to drive it if the check engine light was on after checking the dipstick and seeing there was enough oil to drive it to a shop. The light wasn't on so we started it up to take it back to the Foxfield location and more oil immediately began WATER FALLING out, so we turned it off and checked the dipstick again. We had little to no oil in the car anymore. We called around again hoping someone could come take care of it quickly as we didn't want to start the car without any oil in it. The Foxfield location said we had to pay to get it to them. The other shop said they would get a tow and try to get Firestone to pay for it. Unfortunately, it had been 6 months and 7,000 miles since our last oil change, so it most likely wouldn't happen. We are not irresponsible people with our cars, we just didn't know about the 3 month marker and didn't think to question the mileage on the sticker for some reason. We trusted the shop because I've always taken my cars to Firestone and never had a problem. read more

I've been going to Firestone for almost 10 yrs. This specific Firestone for at least 6 yrs. Last year I had my alternator replaced and with in 10 months my car started losing power when accelerating above 2000 rpm. I went to this Firestone and they performed diagnostics and could not identify the issue. They said yup its throwing alternator codes but the alternator is fine. Kept driving my car as it was still drive-able as long as I did not accelerate. Every Time I took it in to Firestone for service or fixes I mentioned this problem and at one point was told to take it to dealership for "re-chipping" as they could not figure out what was wrong with it. Fast forward to today I finally took my car to another mechanic and they identified it as the alternator within mins even provided a video of the alternator failing. Called Firestone to see if they would do anything for me as this has been going on before warranty expired and I was basically told it was my fault and would not give me the regional manager phone number. This place has gone down hill, takes 2-3 days to get work done, and I question whether they even looked at my car. Local Manager told me he doesn't want my business and could give 2cents that they messed up. I would avoid this Firestone and go else where. It was my fault for trusting this Firestone. Absolutely horrible service! I showed up at 9:00 a.m. for my 9:00 a.m. scheduled appointment for an alignment, checked in my car, let them know that I was going to wait for it's completion, and sat down in their lobby to wait. After waiting nearly two hours, they still hadn't even moved my car into a bay! I asked the reason for this, and the guy just said that there were several alignment appointments ahead of me, starting at 7:00 a.m. So, what was the difference between showing up for a scheduled appointment, and just walking in off the street at the same time? The guy at Firestone couldn't seem to come up with any reasons why the earlier appointments should have affected when my vehicle would be worked, claiming that they'd allowed enough time for the earlier appointments in the schedule, when clearly they had not done so, or had just ignored any scheduled times and done the cars in the order that they arrived. In general, he just kept evading my questions, and giving me the runaround. I sat back down, and he went into the back and suddenly got somebody to go get my vehicle to take it into the bay. So, I guess they suddenly found the time and bay to start on my vehicle after I complain? If that's the case, then who knows what they'll do just rushing through the work to get rid of me. I decided that it just wasn't worth waiting any longer to roll the dice on that. I had them get my keys and left. There are plenty of other places in town to get an alignment! read more

Complete waste of time. I needed a new catalytic converter for my truck and they sold me one that didn't fit, charged me full price, didn't mention anything about the part not fitting, and didn't even communicate anything to me. I called them and Sean said he had no idea what was going on with my truck because Tony was off and he didn't relay any information to the rest of the shop. So now I have to go to an exhaust specialist, get the job done right and bring the catalytic converter that should have never been sold to me back to Firestone so I can get my money back. I guess if you need something easy like a tire replaced they can handle that but other than that, complete waste of time. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. Okay, so I got an alignment from Firestone a few months back when I bought tires, and after their alignment, my car keeps pulling to the right when I brake (it wasn't doing this before their alignment), took it back a second time, still doing it. So it must be something else causing it, right? I take it to a mechanic just to get an estimate on some repairs I might need, the right strut is blown. Hmmm maybe that explains it! They replace the front struts and rear shocks, the steering wheel feels nice and tight. The car is finally not pulling to the right, but they recommend getting an alignment, take it back to Firestone....AND GUESS WHAT!? The car is pulling to the right AGAIN when I brake, pulling to the right, floppy, sloppy steering wheel. I only took it back because I had a 12 month warranty, after getting the alignment the guy wants to charge me, explaining, "the 12 month warranty only covers if we do something wrong." What!? That doesn't even make sense! So if my car goes out of alignment 9, 10 months into the warranty they won't cover it? What's the point of a 12 month warranty, again? And how do I begin to prove it's their fault? Does this make any sense? Well, now I CAN prove it, their alignment sent my car back to pulling to the right when I brake. Even when I don't brake my steering wheel wants to flop to the right or pull real hard to the right. *EDIT 9/5/2018* GET THIS! I had to double check with my mechanic who put in the front struts and rear shocks to make sure he didn't do this for some reason because the next day I got my alignment at this Firestone location. My left headlight isn't working now, AND THE FOG LIGHT WAS UNSCREWED! I kid you not, it was just dangling there by the wire. All I know, they were working before going here, now they're not. *EDIT 9/6/2018 Took it to my mechanic about the headlight. He checked my tires too, and told me they didn't even bother airing up the tires. These guys just don't care. So much for peace of mind. It was my mom who took it in while I was at work, they didn't give her a receipt, WHY? I do have them from the first visit, second visit, and mysteriously, she said he quickly put the paperwork in a zip pouch so we don't have a third receipt. Forget these guys, search, read reviews, pray, hopefully you'll find someone who does the job right. A floppy/sloppy steering wheel, that flops to the right, sometimes the left, braking and pulling to the right, not even checking my air pressure. Again, once I got the new front struts, assembly and rear shocks none of this was happening, in fact, the steering wheel felt nice and tight. 3rd time taking it back to this Firestone and all the above issues starting happening AGAIN. So to sum it all up, Firestone has been the problem from the start. I got two new tires and an alignment and have had all the above problems since, seemingly fixed by mechanic, only for the problems to all show up all over again taking it back to Firestone. What happend to my last review? Darn... somehow just disappeared. I'm here for the oil change (using the $20 synthetic oil change coupon), life time alignment and new set of tires. This place is still newer than most others and staff is still friendly and courteous. I don't like to spend more than necessary and found coupons and also better deal than Walmart, Costco or Sears. Also love the idea of getting tire rotation and alignment all done at the same place. They will do the courtesy check and if you don't like their pricing, you are always welcome to shop around. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Left on hold 20 minutes, walked into the shop and no one noticed for an additional 5. Walked in at 1 to patch a tire that was actively pissing air and told they couldn't even look at it until 4. I've had these Firestone brand tires for under a year and have had 6 flats, one explode on the highway, and the tread so worn I'm on track to replace them in less than 6 months. $2500 tires. Paid out the ass for them and for the warranty, yet have received no helpfulness and piss poor service from the tires to corporate to resolve this. When you call the corporate number, the automated system immediately ends the call before you can get in contact with anyone. I have been using this location for 18 years and over $10k in repairs but the customer service continues to go down ever since Pat the manager left. The only person who cares about the customer here is Sebastian. They used to do a great job but recently I have had horrible service from unauthorized repairs to vehicle being damaged under their care. Paul's (Mgr) response "that was there before not my problem". Disappointed doesn't begin to cover it. About 3 weeks ago I took my car in for a plethora of work - the whole 100,000 mile work up. After a long day & $700 later - I got my car back. Life should be good right? Wrong. I immediately notice an annoying ticking coming from the passenger side - no biggie. After cleaning my glove box and doors - and center console - the noise will not go away. Little did I know this was just the beginning the most annoying noise I've ever heard my car make! Fast forward to two days ago when my car begins to make a noise like a vacuum cleaner is hum it's way out of my vent! Scared the lights outta me. After a call to a friend who is a former mechanic I learn this is likely a 'blend air motor'. Whatever that is (I know now I looked it up on YouTube). I call Firestone - talk to Paul and he sounds pretty skeptical that they could have caused this problem. Even if it started the very day I picked up my car and is in the very vicinity of the air filter they replaced. Nope, no ma'am- he assured me it couldn't have been them & it's too late in the day for them to do a thorough check. Really?! Not even an ounce of remorse, just a picture on the computer of why it couldn't have been his tech. Nice customer service for a lifelong customer. I would rather pay up to go to a dealership - at least I know my business means something to them. I had my first experience with this Firestone location on Sunday. I knew I had to get an oil change and a battery and wanted to have my breaks checked. The manager gave me a quote for each item and I made an appointment for today. They completed all of the work a couple of hours faster than anticipated and recomended just adjusting the breaks as they still had plenty of life left in them. Everyone I spoke with was courteous and professional. I walked out for almost $100 less than I was quoted. They cleaned the breaks and bled the lines. It feels like new again. The battery has a prorated replacement for up to 6 years instead of 3 from other locations. They actually seemed more interested in Telling me the truth instead of just going for the sale. I will definitely be using this location again. Bonus, there is a movie theater across the street so I was able to go see a movie while my car got fixed up instead of hanging around in the waiting room. read more

Brought my tire to get repaired. I was told the price would be between $20-$30 depending on the size of the tire. This should have been my FIRST clue not to waste my time. After a while I got a phone call letting me know they can't repair my tire because the nail was in the sidewall and proceeded to tell me I would need to get 2 new tires because I have an AWD. (I get that part but I know enough about cars and the location of the puncture to know that was a lie.) I told them not to move forward and picked my car up. Thank goodness I did that because Discount Tire was able to fix it FOR FREE. I have been a Discount Tire customer for years and only took it to Firestone because they were open on Labor Day. Came in on June 23, with a giant nail in my tire. Dan the manager took great care of me and my son. I have run flat tires, and was concerned I'd have to buy new very expensive tires. Not in my budget this month. My tire was able to be patched. But I will need new tires soon. Dan gave me an estimate. He didn't scare me into expensive tires with a hard sale. I went in for four new tires an alignment and oil change. I walked out with four new tires, an alignment, an oil change and a new oil drain plug. I did not request, approve or authorize a new drain plug, hence why they didn't charge me for it. Weeks following, my husband and kids are stranded at an intersection with the car shut down. He looks at sees there is oil everywhere with the oil drain plug in half on the ground. We take it to Firestone where they refuse to acknowledge there part in any of it. The store manager, Jason, is worthless. He is taking no responsibility for anything that his employee(s) did to my car. After two weeks on their property, unlocked, hood popped open with the battery cover off, sitting in their property not in the garage, I finally had it removed and taken to GMC. Upon further inspection, GMC found that the drain plug was tightened too much which snapped the plug causing oil to leak everywhere. The engine is now seized! Firestone is taking no ownership for any of it. We have our workorder, invoice and then pictures of the plug in half. Jason at Firestone needs to take responsibility for what he and his employees did to my car. I now need a whole new engine-ITS A 2020 TERRAIN, IT SHOULDN'T HAVE NEEDED A NEW PLUG IN THE FIRST PLACE. Now coming back for the 3rd time in a week to have them straighten the steering wheel (which they said would be finished the last two times).
