You guys really need to work on hiring people that keep their word. I called in for an alignment told me to come before 3:45pm over the phone and said it will be done by 5:30pm. I show up 3:20pm and no worker says hi and there's two customers ahead of me that take their time with the employees.. I start talking to a worker finally by 3:45pm exactly and says I'm not able to do the alignment today. What a waste of gas and time on my part. Get your act together, they say they're short in technicians, then hire more. Simple solution. Oh yeah, thanks for no apologies too. read more

I set an appointment there to check what my dash lights and beeps were all about. Allen and the rest of the staff I interacted with were truly great! All friendly, patient, and kind to me and my poor sad car. It turned out what was wrong was a specialized problem, they could not fix. After answering all my questions and giving me information to go on with, they recommended me a great mechanic who specializes in my car and waived the dialogistic fee. Unbelievable! The waiting room was comfortable enough and they have decent wifi, so my wait was pleasant. I am absolutely coming back for my next oil change and the rest of my regular maintenance. read more

Growing up in the motor city of Detroit, I have experienced some of the best and some of the shadiest auto repair folks. So I've learned to do my research before going in for a repair so I can know exactly what to expect in regards to time and cost. I took my car to my Toyota dealership to get a light bulb replaced. The guys at the dealership are rarely very professional. I had an appointment and waited quite awhile---to make a long story short a Toyota service man finally came out tapped on the light and said 'I'm sure you have better things to do and you would pay $100 to get this fixed, the light is working now but may go out again later.' Then he took off. So I left and was a little frustrated when the light was out again the very next day. The next week I visited Firestone on Brand. I talked with one of the service reps who took a look and said the bulb could be replaced with no problem. He gave me an honest quote which checked out with my research which by the way was not anyplace near $100. They were busy that day so I came back early this morning. I met with another customer service guy. He was very courteous, attentive and took care of the light replacement himself in less than 5 minutes. The place has truly great service and courteous people who seem to be honest and care about the reputation of their service center. By the way I visited another Firestone closer to my home and the customer service representative was not so great. I understood they were busy but while in the middle of me explaining the problem with my car she decided to pick up the phone and just left me standing there. So I told her don't worry about it and headed over to the location on Brand. These were my first experienced at either Firestone location. So impressed with professional service and kindness I was given just two days ago on Christmas eve. Erika and Allen took such good care of me and were determined that I left with a (safe, new tire). When my tire pressure light came on and later realized that I had a nail stuck in the back, passenger side tire.....I was only a few blocks away. I immediately was directed to the Brand Blvd. Firestone by my car dealer. I pulled in at 1:30ish and kid you not.......!!!! I was back on the road by 2pm. Mind you, this was Christmas eve and they were scheduled to close by 3. They were already booked up but insisted that they could not let me leave with a completely flat tire. The squeezed me in! Erika surveyed the damage, what I would need to fix it and got checked me in. Allen immediately pulled my car to the lift, got the bad tire off and a new tire on in 15min......kid you NOT!!!! Seriously, they were already slammed and didn't have to take me in but they did. I am grateful to these two angels who saved my Christmas holiday travel plans with my daughter. Last week when I got to work my car started overheating. I called the Firestone by my house in the Valley & they recommended taking my car to this specific location since it's down the street from where I work. When I brought my car to be looked at I was tended to by Andrew who made sure I was taken care of from beginning to end with the entire process of having my car fixed. I explained what was going on & he gave me different options as to what could be happening with the car. He assured me the guys would get to the bottom of the problem & some of the technicians even stayed later than they were scheduled to make sure that my car was taken care of. I ended up having to leave my car overnight & Andrew called me in the morning to give me an update on the vehicle & the work that was going to be done. Andrew was super professional & honest which is hard to come by in this line of business. I appreciate everything Firestone has done for me & I will be back for future services. The store manager at this Firestone location is an all-around great person.  I came in to see if they sold any light bulbs to replace my brake lights, but Allen (the store manager) advised me that they do not sell any parts.  He then proceeded to ask the year, make and model of my car to see if they have any lights in the back room.  He had a light bulb and changed it for me within 5 minutes.  I asked him how much it would be for the part and labor, and he responded not to worry about it... that it was a new year.  I was so grateful for his kindness and generosity.  From the grand scheme of things, changing a light bulb is a menial task, but for Allen to go out of his way to help another person says a lot about the kind of person he is and the kind of store that he manages.  It is people like him that make this world a better place. read more

It's hard to see negative reviews of this place, when my experience was AMAZING!. I had just got an oil change at Hyundai this morning when my service guy said my tires needed to be changed NOW. I had been told by two people that it was coming, but didn't realize the urgency. I drive alot on the freeway so as a woman want to feel safe. I was scared because I didnt have any money for this and didn't know what to do and couldn't wait. I was told by a friend that Firestone does a A LINE OF CREDIT, so Hyundai said there was a Firestone right next store. I felt like my angels were guiding me and everything turned around. I was greeted by VIC who was very helpful and kindly answered all my questions. I told him he was an ANGEL from above. They were so efficient. I got in a 10 and was out by 1130am. CHRIS helped me at the end and was also very helpful. It is nice to know that I have a place now to do tire maintenance and more money on my line of credit so I can go back at some point when I need brakes. This has to be the most honest, valuable and best customer service I have ever received from a car repair place. I moved to the area a few months ago from Central California, and a couple weeks ago it was time for an oil change, tire rotation and to get my brakes checked. This facility completed it all quickly and called my cell during the service to tell me that my tires looked good, and even the reason why my brakes were squeaking on occasion, but advised me that I didn't need new brakes, mine were fine...what?!? No up-sell?? I returned and everything was fast and affordable at check-out. Then, I just was pulled over by the police yesterday for my brake lights being out. I returned to Firestone and asked if they had checked them and Andrew explained that they usually check those things and would have advised me. He said unless it happened in the last week, that it was weird and he didn't see any notes about it in my car log in their system. He asked to go out to my car with me so he could see me push the brake pedal and check it out. He explained that my taillights were on but that the larger filament that powers the brake light was out on each side. He said, "hold on". He went in the shop grabbed two bulbs, swiped them out and said, "you're good to go!" I was like, "what? How much?" He said, "you're fine, thanks for doing business with us!!" What? This place is awesome. I understand why they have such good reviews when I first found them on Yelp. I will definitely be having my car serviced here, as long as I am in Glendale!! read more

They have new management or something. I have been going there for 2 years and never was pressured to get work done.. Last week I went for an oil change and balance and was quoted about $500 in repairs. Belts and inner and outer tie rod plus alignment. I had them replace the belts but was skeptical about the tie rods, so I got a second opinion and found out the tie rods were fine. Be careful. read more

The store manager is a great guy! Called in on a Sunday morning before they opened at 8am and he answered the phone at 7:45am. We had two flats the night before and had been towed to the Pep Boys in Burbank. I had the one flat replaced with the spare and off the vehicle. I asked if someone could come and pick up this flat and replace the tire (bad side wall blow out). He sent one of his guys and he arrived in a pick-up within 15mins. He took it back to the shop fixed it and returned, I in the meantime took the second flat off, threw that in the back of his truck and followed him to Glendale (all before the Pep Boys opened at 9am. They rushed to get the next tire replaced as we had explained my son had a plane to catch in Las Vegas in four hours. They really went the extra mile to make sure everything was right, even torqued down all the lugs before we left in a hurry. By the way, he quoted me a great price as I had previously dealt with a Firestone in Las Vegas.
