3/29/2016 401 s Brand glendale ca I have a back 1999 Acura Integra and noticed that I needed an oil change. The gentleman that changed my oil "Ricky" recommended that I needed new front tires because they were worn out. I did not believe it until he pointed it out and showed me a lump on the side of the tire and the thread. That is when he told me how to go about and purchase tires at Firestone. He also gave me some info about lifetime alignment deals they had. After I went in to pay and find more info from the cashier Vic. He gave me an estimate in which he told me it was a great deal. Both Ricky and Vic were straight forward and honest I did not feel pressured it felt like a friendly environment. I did some research and found out since i have an older model vehicle and integra the alignment can go out easier. The next day I called up on 3/30/2016 and some guy named Jonathan helped me out he offered to help me the help was ASAP since it was not busy in which i headed over there and received help immediately. I told him what was recommended the prior day and he told me we can take care of it and will be done within an hour. Later i get a call and my vehicle is completed. He told me the car was done and the technician at the time was "Onik" he told me the axle boot was ripping and to keep in mind it might have to be changed in the future. Both jonathan and Onik also treated me well. This location has some legit customer service, ill be stopping by for future services. Other spots I've dealt with for tires have not matched my experience here. read more

If you are coming here for a routine oil change, tire rotation, etc, do not be scammed into paying for expensive and unnecessary repairs!! I went in a year ago for an oil change, was called in the middle of it and told my front two tires were about to pop and needed to be replaced. I was also told my back two tires were very close to the same condition, it was unsafe to drive and was asked if I would want to fix them. Being scared, young and naive, I agreed to pay $600 to replace all my tires, way more than needed to be paid. I asked to take the tires home with me and when I got home and inspected them it was clear the back two tires did not need to be replaced and the front two tires were not nearly as dire as they made them out to be. I now get free tire rotations as a result of buying tires there so I went back recently to get that done and what do you know, in the middle of my tire rotation they call me and tell me I need to get my suspension replaced or my car could lose steering while I'm driving. Tell me they would like to replace it for $700. I say no and drive my car to another mechanic to double check what they said. He said there is nothing that needs to be replaced and they were trying to take advantage of me. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE IF THEY TELL YOU YOU NEED REPAIRS. Always get a second opinion. They've called me twice in the middle of routine repairs to tell me I need costly replacements that I do not need. Scammers. I will be coming back for my free tire rotations and nothing else. read more

I take care of my friend and her car. She has a disability. I have been going to Firestone Glendale for over 10 years. They always take care of our car with excellent care and make sure we are safe to drive the car. Victor is a good manager and over the years has given excellent customer service, with a smile, and helps make sure that our car gets done in a timely manner because he knows I take care of a disabled person at home and cannot be gone for long periods of time. Because I am a primary caregiver at home and work and take care of my Mom, recently the days I have brought the car in Andrew has been taking care of our car. He also has been very supportive and understanding that I cannot be away from home for long periods of time. Andrew is very knowledgeable about the cars tire and brake needs and always gives excellent customer service with a smile. He is also great with his auto knowledge at figuring out what is wrong with the car, if its a noise or just by my description he goes the extra mile to find the solution and working with the technicians to keep our car safe to drive. Thank you Firestone Glendale and thank you Andrew for all your help and support! We do not want to know what we would do without you and your amazing staff. I purchased 4 tires and wheels for my truck, 325/60 R20's from an Independant 4x4 dealer. I called Firestone to see if they could mount and balance them and install them on my truck. Original quote for this was under $200. Then I was reminded about the TPMS sensors that could be tranfered from my original wheels. So I gave the go ahead, I was anxious to see my truck all set up. Dropped my truck off on a Saturday morning and I finally got the call to pick it up on Sunday near closing time. Since I upgraded from 15" wheels to 20" wheels they couldnt find the bands to install the TPMS sensors. After all was said and done it cost me $350.00 and two days to get in my truck and almost lose control due to the wheels being so out of balance. I could not go over 45 mph. Thanks for nothing Firestone and I'll be sure to never use you for any future sevices on any of my vehicles. By the way, I went to a competitor and they had my wheels balanced properly for another $40. The guy asked, who balanced my wheels? and said they need practice!! because 10oz of weight on one side of the wheel is uncommon and asked how I kept the truck on the road. read more

Jonathan Cano is a new transfer employee at the Glendale Firestone. He has been especially helpful in getting my 2007 Chevy Malibu ready for a road trip in May. The new tires he recommended are doing great in the light rain we had recently. He explained why washer fluid is important for my new windshield wipers. Jonathan has been helping me to track down the reason there's an oil stain on my driveway too. There's been a oil leak for a while on the old 'bu but with his recommendation the engine and undercarriage have been cleaned by a local auto detail shop and we should have the culprit nabbed in a week or so. In my visit today to check the engine now that it's clean I also needed to have my trunk bar replaced as the original one broke on me last week. The bar was replaced at no charge! Thank you for helping me to feel confident in the condition of my car and explaining things in a way that doesn't make me feel incompetent. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure I got absolutely ripped off here. I dropped my car off on a Sunday for an oil change, alignment, full vehicle inspection and tire rotation. I dropped it off at 12 and got it when they closed at 6. They were short staffed and only had 2 people, so that's understandable. What is not okay though is them lying on the paperwork. The paperwork stated the tires were filled to the correct psi, but no air was added at all. I got no paperwork about the full car inspection and couldn't tell if anything was really done. The alignment papers barely showed any improvement, at all. I left a bad review in the email they sent me asking how they did but all they offered was to do an alignment again. I have the lifetime alignment on the car, so it wasn't worth the drive out for me. This location is further out but I went as it's been recommended to me to go to. The worst place you can possibly go to. My tire pressure light came on so I quickly rushed to this place and got there before 5:15pm. They refused to do a tire inspection because they claimed to have no time to do so & their closing time was at 6pm. One of the guys there JEFF put air on all 4 of my tires and then proceeded to tell me the problem was that all four were super inflated which didn't make sense. The guys inside refused to do anything & said even they had time to do something, they couldn't because my tires were no good. I drove home to only find out I had a nail in my tire!! Took my car to another shop next day and my tire was patched up with no problem. My tires were fine. FIRST AND LAST TIME I EVER COME HERE. LAZY LAZY LAZY. read more

I called the night before and made an appointment to be the first customer at 7 AM and I was assured AND promised that I would be out around 8 AM since it was an easy and quick tire rotation job, nothing complex or time consuming. I had a full day planned and need to be out of there around 8-ish. Well I show up the day of my appointment an hour early to be there on time and when they open up at 7, the knucklehead idiot manager says "I cant take you in until 8:30 and get you out of here until 9:30 because we have a car here from yesterday". That was a bait and switch. No more frigging business from me. I suggest to other people, don't get taken by their lies. Go elsewhere. F 'em. read more

This is the BEST Firestone location I have ever been to. The customer service is exceptional and their auto work is amazing. All of the personnel were professional and welcoming. The store manager Allen S. helped me with my car when another LA Firestone location failed repeatedly. He was honest, helpful and very knowledgeable about what my car needed in order to be fixed. He took 20 minutes to do what was taking months for the other location to accomplish. The price was 40% cheaper than the other location was trying to charge me! Went in for an over due oil change, with some completely unrelated car problems, and left within 45 minutes feeling happy and satisfied. I was greeted and assisted by the manager Allen, who was friendly and helpful. He gave me a fare deal and explained all the different options I had available to me. Allen and his co workers were exceptional, they even took the time to fix my other car problems, like a broken passenger seat and a bent plastic piece that had been rubbing my front tire. Glendale Firestone is a much more affordable and reliable service provider than the Kia dealer across the street for my Kia Soul. I trust the Firestone store when they tell me what things are needed and that the price is always fair and much more affordable than the dealer. Over the past 6 months I've had complete front and rear brake pads, rotors, brake fluid service, 4 new tires, a new battery and even new wipers installed.
