    As other reviewers pointed out, this location appears SHADY, update: OR JUST PLAINLY INEXPERIENCED, UNPROFESSIONAL. I stand with those reviewers because of the experiences I am having and have connected to in this year. (I updated my review to add, 'OR PLAINLY INEXPERIENCED, UNPROFESSIONAL' since I can see it in a better light. Scam or not, they still did a disservice to me and many others that reviewed their experiences at this location. It's a stretch to jump straight to offer their service/repair work after such incidents in their care. I get it's super common across all Firestones, and autocare businesses like so to upsell and hoax you back to their business (like a scam), however .... at least what I experienced at this location......it's an immense stretch to offer to repair my pickup and not contact the consumer right away when something like brake lines bust instantly right when they reverse the vehicle to take it off the lot, and into their garage. (They left a voicemail 6:04, email receipt at 3:34, I was waiting on a call around 5:30PM as they promised it'd be done by). The way they handled my situation seemed to represent little to no respect on me and my vehicle. If you're looking for good autocare, this Firestone Homer Glen, possibly any Firestone isn't it. They seriously need a 'complimentary inspection' to get their expertise/professionalism checked on here, and possibly a deeper check if this really is a trend I see across reviews of many Firestones... 3 of the cars I've serviced here had major issues right after visits to this Homer Glen location. Just brought in for oil changes and wheel alignments.....my cars see personal mechanics for fixes. I legit get my cars checked on and serviced right before Firestone and the moment they get to the vehicles I take here, they "discover" new issues......... issues that completely destroy the vehicle................) ?'s running through my mind throughout the experience: Why would I have also been charged the oil change last night on my email receipt when they say they couldn't get the pickup in since it busted on them when they tried reversing it? Why did I come in today, and that charge was reversed and refunded to my account by the store manager just now? Why did they run the receipt on this incident today, and not last night when I came back for the pickup? Why, when I asked if the pickup could possibly drive back down the road to my house, I was told "Well, you could try!" DO NOT TRUST. Currently today, I have to get my pickup towed and figure out how ALL the brake lines SO BAD the moment they stepped in the vehicle to see "try it out!" as the worker said I should try when I simply asked if it would possibly drive down the road to my house to better understand how bad the brake line bust was before I saw it. I as well as my boyfriend drove the car just fine before and would have noticed the brake pad was lose. I think our mechanic have noticed/said about that too, so we are in contact as I gather my receipts/evidence. When I arrived for my car yesterday (6/21) evening, I got confused because that pickup just saw my mechanic too this month. My mechanic would have mentioned the pickup was nearing these issues, so I'm calling BS. The pickup drove that day to their lot, so if they say this incident occurred the moment they tried reversing the pickup, I need to see more than they are telling me to believe. It appears unlikely because every car I service, gets checked on frequently. I have all my receipts, and LEGIT, when I need the oil change/wheel alignment, all 3 vehicles that I've brought here, have issues outside of any common to their history. "Believe me, this is a common issue we see with cars like yours." I typically go to discount tire right down the street from them, but they had a longer wait time. since it was an emergency, I decided to stop in here. I got a nail in my tire just two blocks away from them, thought it would be a quick fix. After waiting for over an hour, I was told my tires were too bald ( not true) for the repair. Mind you I had a vehicle inspection at my dealer two weeks prior and they said my tires were still in good condition. They would be the first ones to recommend Tires if they were showing major signs of wear. They knew I was desperate, I was late picking up my child from practice and it was getting dark, I wasnt just going to roll out of there on the flat. They said they did not want to be liable in case something happens to that tire due to it being bald. ( there should be waivers for this) I definitely feel like I was taken advantage of being a female. The technician came out with a quote for a full set of tires, $1500. Something I never asked for. I simply wanted a Repair and was forced to buy a brand new tire. Another thing I didn't like is that they went through my truck to search for the rim keys, I don't know if this is normal, but I felt like they should have asked me where they were before start searching through my belongings.

Their waiting area is clean and the chairs were very comfortable. There were also televisions and free coffee to keep customers entertained. Shout out to Terence who helped me get in and out.

She quoted me a price of $399 and she told me that price would include the alignment. We set up an appointment for the next day. The appointment appeared on my Google Calendar which was nice. However she failed to send me a detailed estimate of services and product costs along with taxes. I showed up at the store 9 am expecting to get the tires. When I arrived the manager, Brandon, told me that they only had 2 tires in stock but that they would rummage around the shop to find a spare tire! Unbelievable! The team began the work but I was soon called to the work area where mechankcs and Brandon told me that the tool that they were using to remove the lug nuts was not working! Brandon recommended that I buy 15 new lug nuts at $15 per lug nut! I told him that was crazy and he should find the appropriate tool to donthe job. Brandon then reviewed the costs with me and told me that the alignment would cost an additional $120. I told him that the lady I spoke with said that the alignment costs would be a part of the overall tire costs around $390. He told me that was impossible because no women work at the shop. I later found out I was speaking with a call center lady. I then waited for 3 hours. Brandon and none of the mechanics updated me on progress. Affer about 2.5 hours, i saw Brandon keavjng the store so I asked him about the status of the tire replacemt. He said that they had to call the Joliet warehose fo get the 3rd tire and that it should arrive in 3 minutes! Why did I have to wait 2.5 hours for this update. I them called Corporate Customer Service and explained the situation. She called Brandon Nd secured a $3( discount on the alignment. Afger abouf anothe half hour Luke came out and updated me further. A good guy. After more than 3 hours the tire arrived from the warehouse and was installed! Luke assisted in completing the transaction in a friendly way. Somebody needs to chat with Brandon as his.customer service is atrocious and beyond imagination. I will stay away from Mavis and I recommend that you do the same!

    To be fair, the work they did seems solid…read more My tesla was rear ended in August of 2022. They billed just over 21,000 for the repair. They were well compensated by the persons insurance that hit me. DanRich Carstar customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with in any business I ever patronized. My car was dropped late August. This repair shop was chosen because they boasted that they were a preferred Tesla repair facility, which I was told meant they would have priority access to parts. Tesla does have an issue with parts, from my research. My car was finally put into structural repair on Nov 3. They have an app to update their progress and I was given weekly updates. I was told that my car would be ready for pick up on December 23. I was specifically told that any delays in pick up would be communicated by a phone call. My area was forecasted for a winter storm on December 22. I called to confirm pickup on December 20 & 21 and 22. No return call was given. I showed up to pick up my car on the 23; the facility was closed. They had a sign on the door. They did not return my calls or message. They did not change their voice message to alert anyone of the closure. I called the following week, assuming that missing a few days because of the storm, my car would be ready the following week. They did not send me a message until January 6, saying at that point my car was entering reassembly. They updated my pickup date to January 12. I picked up my car after hours on the 12th. When I got in the car, I noticed that the steering wheel leather was peeled off. I left the car and returned the next day. After a wait, I was addressed by Rich, of DanRich. He had no explanation of why my wheel had the leather peeled off. After a brief discussion, I was assured that a new wheel would be ordered and installed at the facility expense. I called the following week, as I was told it would take a week to receive the steering wheel. I followed up with Jordyn at customer service on January 19 and was assured I would hear back by the 20th. I gave her to the 27th to call me back, they never did. I was given excuses of how they didn't hear back from anyone at Tesla, that the issues in getting parts was far out of their control and that the peeling on the steering wheel was probably from my oily hands. It's a shame that a business such as this does everything in their power to not take responsibility for the easiest thing they can control....how their customer sees them. All they needed to do was tell the truth, instead they lied, sidestepped responsibility and pointed fingers at anyone and everyone. I won't use them again, and If this review can help one person to choose any other repair facility, then it accomplished its goal. Not that it matters if they can bill 20K to every car they bring in.
