This review is strictly for the service department. I called on Saturday to inquire about oil change prices. The man I spoke to was friendly, cheerful, and extremely helpful. After giving him the year and model of my vehicle, he informed me that I had two different price options due to the turbo: $37.99 or about $68 for synthetic. I went with the cheaper option for now but will go synthetic in the future. He also stated they go by appointment only on Saturdays but they had a cancellation so I was able to get a 10:00 a.m. appointment. After arriving and completing the rebate for my oil change, I took a seat in the waiting room. What a cozy space! A small kitchenette houses a coffee machine and a mini fridge holds bottled water. There are also drink and snack vending machines. There are some toys for the kiddos and a nice flat screen TV with Direct TV. Deep-set leather chairs (four of them) cushion you and are super comfortable. There is also a love seat for additional seating. While waiting, one of the service advisers came into the waiting room and asked those of us waiting if we'd like water or coffee. Even though we were all capable of getting it ourselves, that gesture was a great representation of their level of customer service. My entire stay was about an hour which is what I expected. I wasn't in a hurry and I know from working at dealerships in the past that Saturdays can be quite busy for service departments. Charlie, the assistant service manager, was who I dealt with. He was extremely helpful from start to finish. The other gentleman, I think his name was Eddie, was very helpful, too. Besides the oil change, my car also had a leak somewhere near the transfer case, so I left the ol' girl behind so the necessary repairs could be made while still under warranty. I was given a loaner vehicle to drive while my car was being serviced, which is fun because it's always nice to have a brand new car for a few days. Zoom zoom. The dealership itself is beautiful and all of those sexy, brand new Mazdas were enticing, but I didn't go near the showroom as I wanted to avoid the temptation. I've had my car for six months so I am definitely not in the market for anything any time soon. The hubby is next in line for that and I have no doubt that when we are ready, we will purchase from here. We love our Mazdas and every employee I dealt with here has given me confidence in being lifetime Continental Mazda customers. read more

I took my daughters 2017 Mazda GX-5 with the touring package to the brushless car wash this Saturday morning. When I left the car wash the right passenger side mirror was loose and I could not adjust it. I called Continental Mazda. I was nervous the service rep calmed me down asked questions about the mirror. He asked me to bring it in. I brought it in and they fixed the mirror within 20 minutes. I've been taking my Mazda here for years and never had any complaints. However recently I took the car in because the battery kept going dead. They claimed they checked everything out and it just needed a new battery, which they put in. But that didn't solve the problem - battery continued to go dead. So after talking to some friends more knowledgeable about these things, I took it back and told them to check the alternator. They claim they had their 'master mechanic' thoroughly check everything, and the alternator was fine - the car just needed to be driven more often. Long story short - that was NOT true,- it DID need a new alternator, and once I had that done (somewhere else!), no more problems. Very frustrating experience with Continental because it's NOT close to my house, and I had weeks of never knowing if my car would start. Won't be going back to them again! read more

Thanks for the asking about my visit to your service center! This was my first visit to your service department and I was truly impressed with the team and the overall experience - making the appointment after hours was simple with your call center, called in advance to ask a couple of questions about parts availability and Marissa spent time understanding my issue and promised to do a bit of pre-work prior to arriving. Once in the service department, from start to finish, everyone with whom I interacted was upbeat, focused on us...interested in resolving our issues, and made the experience extremely easy. Not only did everything get completed as committed, but Dennis Tiffert told me that he would try to expedite work to be completed by 1:30 due to commitments we had later in the day. The phone rang at exactly 1:30 and he let me know my vehicle was completed!!! During my visit, I saw other customers in the service area receiving similar service - not often do you see people smiling in the auto repair department! Brought car in for A/C not working. Ed Carlson, the service manager, was super friendly. They gave me a call with my issue (rodent had chewed through wiring) and let me know my repair options, including the most affordable (read: they didn't only offer the most expensive repair). They also sent me an email with a breakdown of the repair along with other optional maintenance/repair items. They were prioritized too in case I only wanted to do 1 or 2 at that time. I ended up only fixing the A/C, and they didn't push me at all to do extra repairs or spend any more money. I really appreciated the no-hassle approach they took. Everything was completed within a few hours as promised, and the A/C was ice cold when I picked up my car later that day. Overall very pleased with my experience and would definitely recommend them for service issues of any kind. read more

I'm satisfied with their Service Department. They have a good small team. I mainly go in for oil changes, but have had a few unexpected major repairs done there. The service consultant Dennis has been quite helpful, takes the time to explain everything, very polite. I can feel confident leaving my vehicle there without any worries. Their repair/maintenance costs are competitive, reasonable oil changes with car wash. Overall, it has been a comfortable experience so far, Dennis and John do a good job, and will definitely continue to bring my car to Continental Mazda. read more

Had my Mazda in recently for an alignment. The staff was extremely nice, the waiting room was clean and comfy, and they had a Keurig coffee maker, definitely a bonus. They also found that my rotors were bad and causing most of my issue, not all of it was my alignment and they were covered under my warranty. They were great to work with, we'll be back. read more

Didn't buy my Mazda CX 5 at this location so I can't rate the buying process but I take it here for service. The service center is amazing! Easy online booking which saves all your car info...even emails you when your car should be set up for their next recommended service appointment. The service staff is great too. Always friendly and extremely helpful when it comes to answering my questions. They also have a loyalty point program where you earn points for every dollar that you spend. At set point levels you get money off service or free services. read more

I didn't purchase my Mazda 6 from this location so I can only speak about my service experience. It was phenomenal! Their online scheduling was such an easy and time saving process. On the day of my scheduled service, Ed Carlson and his team were ready for my early morning appointment and I was on my way promptly. A detailed and comprehensive estimate was emailed to me, which was so appreciated as I definitely needed layman's terms. My car was ready and in tip top shape thanks to this service team. I have been taking my Mazda 3 here for 2 years now. I purchased it at a different Mazda dealer that I was not happy with. They can almost always get me in within a couple days of my calling. I put a lot of miles on my car, so I am in there every 4 - 6 weeks for my maintenance. The service is great and everyone is knowledgeable and friendly. I've never had any problems with them and they have always been honest and helpful. They are the best! read more

Had a great experience with the sales team when we bought our car 2 years ago. Unfortunately that's where the positives end. We brought our car in today for service. We are 1200 miles over our warranty and had a faulty EGR valve. This repair cost $800+. You would think being so close to our warranty and having such an obscure repair that this dealer could see to helping us out and showing us some decent customer service. Instead we get a line about how because we haven't had our oil changes at the dealer they won't cover the repair or even meet us half way. Really? Come on, we live a solid 30 minutes away, do they really expect me to pay extra to get my oil changes at the dealer and drive out if my way? Besides we never signed any sort if contract to get our maintenance done there. Clearly they do not care to retain their customer base. This is our second Mazda but will now likely be our last if this is how we are going to be treated. The truly unfortunate part is that we were looking forward to returning to this dealer in 2012 to buy a new car. read more
