Made an appointment here to get new tires, an alignment and new brakes. They suspected I didn't need new brakes, just a flush and turns out I didn't need either. Pricing was transparent, and about what I expected. Didn't try to oversell me unnecessary stuff. And I got done about 40 minutes before I was told. But also the guys in the front were the best. I have a big knitting project I've been working on and I figured I'd stay while they worked on my car and the guys inside (sorry I do not remember your names) asked me so many questions and were so interested in my project. I'm very disappointed with the service I received. I had an appointment and dropped my vehicle off on time. I was told it would be ready by 5:30 PM. I even called around 5 PM to ask if we could pick it up first thing the following morning instead. When I arrived the next morning--several hours after opening--I was told the car still needed another hour. I came back an hour later, only to find that it still wasn't ready. On both visits, employees were standing around the front desk with no sense of urgency or effort to check on the vehicle. Their only response was that I'd be called when it was ready. I understand that delays can happen, but the lack of communication was unacceptable. If the plan was to call when the car was ready, that should have been made clear from the beginning. Instead, we had to visit the location multiple times with no updates or consideration for our time. read more

Went in to get my tire patched and tires rotated. The technician called me afterwards and informed me that my rear break pads were very low and needed to be changed, and that they could take of it while my vehicle was there. I told him that I already had pads and was not pressured at all to get anything other than the tire rotation and patch. Not sure what's going on at this location. Had an appt. for my Mother's car yesterday at 7am...no one was there. I waited 20 minutes but no one showed. Tried calling later but no answer. Called this morning and still no answer. If there was an emergency, you would think to post something on the door. Never had any issues with vehicles before. read more

TAKE YOUR CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP I've had my cars serviced here for a year and a half but never again. They held onto my car for three days and told me I had significant water damage in my car. I took it to the dealership and they found no such thing. This Firestone location is full of liars. I took my vehicle in for a fuse replacement and after solving that problem then they ended up with the windows being stuck and wouldn't roll up. They called and asked if I'd had a problem with the windows before, I said I had not, and they responded "oh well the windows are stuck now and we're gonna need another day". Not what I wanted to hear but I figured they'd get right on it and I'd have my car back by noon the next day. Day two I would call and ask about the status of it and I got a different answer every time. "Could be the battery" "they think it could be a panel switch" They'll lie to your face rather than giving a straight answer saying that they hadn't gotten around to it yet. I live close by so we drove by to see if it was in the shop or in the lot. Sure enough it was sitting in the lot. Day three I can't wait any longer so I call again. "No it's not done yet, our diagnostics guy started on it but he has to do one door at a time and he's not here today so he'd have to take a look when he's back tomorrow" The fact that they would just keep my car this long without giving me any opportunity to set a future appointment or notify me that the schedule of the one person (un)qualified to do my job is a zero star level of customer service. I tell the lady on the line that I can't wait any longer and have to come get it. Fifteen minutes later when I'm at the register to get my key and pay out she adds in "oh they also said that there was water damage... really significant water damage so that was part of the problem" I took it to the dealership and after they fixed the windows the same day I asked about the water damage and they said there was not a single drop to be found. I had a flat tire on my ATV. I took the wheel with the flat tire and the new tire to this Firestone Dealer. They were terrific. They dismounted the flat tire and mounted my new tire in a very timely manner. Since this was an "out of the ordinary" request, they could have charged me a higher fee because of it. They most certainly did not!!! The job was done expertly, in a timely manner and the cost was more than reasonable. That is going above and beyond. Well done!!! read more

I had a nail in my tire. I didn't have an appointment but Jeff worked me in. We discussed my options and I decided to buy four new tires. Their price was the best around. I have had a lifetime alignment for all of my cars through this company for years. So when I got the lifetime on my new Kia Forte 5 I get it inspected and they do the work. This time I went in and the firestone tires that I bought there have abnormal wear in 16k miles and it's our fault because we didn't align a car with every oil change is what they said. That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard come out of a persons mouth. This will be the last time I darken the door of this place. I was told it would take a certain amount of time, which has come and gone. My Jeep is sitting, half done with no one near it. When I ask what the hold up is, they tell me they didn't have the oil filter and have ordered it, and it shouldn't be long. When pressed, one guy said a few minutes and one said 5-10 ...and that they only ordered the filter 5-10 minutes before. A little communication goes a long way. It would have been nice to have been told when they knew instead of having to ask - and being given a straight answer. read more

I always come here for routine maintenance. They are more responsive and efficient than my dealership's service department. I always get a fair deal and quality service. I appreciate the honesty of the staff as well. I drive past two other Firestone and many other oil change options to get here because a quality experience matters. read more

UPDATE:Yep, what a scam place. As I feared they called back in a couple of hours with a laundry list of jobs to do on my car. I went in for a water pump. What is so hard to understand? I don't need a engine diagnostic. See the water pouring out of the water pump? I ended up paying well over $600 for a water pump that the going rate for a replacement is $350. Heck, they charged me over $150 for parts you can get at Autozone for less than $50. I certainly could have gotten a better deal at the dealership. Huntsville, Alabama Airport Road location. I won't be back. Took my car in with a coolant leak through the water pump bearings. I requested a water pump replacement. They are charging me an additional $99 fee to determine where the leak is. Uh, the leak is right there where the water is coming out... I fear what the final bill will be. read more

This place is good for an emergency only. If you have time to shop around I recommend that you do. I just had 4 spark plugs, and vacuum hose replaced. Cost me $273.Never again. A Little over a year ago I purchased a set of tires, that set of tires is now obsolete. I know this, because I had to have one of them replaced, Because the belt was separating inside the tire which made the car pull to the left which they told me that it was my rear suspension. Once I had the non-matching tire replaced, it resolved pulling to the left. When I purchased the tires they came with a road hazard, Jeff Morton the manager was very reluctant to replace the tire and was rude about it. Do I have to say the other guys that I met down there are really good people and there's a lot of good people at the other Firestones around Huntsville, but Jeff's a prick. read more

went in for bakes to be changed, they used the dirtiest pads I've ever seen on a truck, they aligned my truck out of alignment, got me driving into traffic. i went to change my brakes and rotors a month later and they had cross threaded a lug nut on my front tire. they fixed it and the next day i went to fix my brakes and when i took the calipers off the bottom bolt was cross threaded. now my truck is on jacks in my driveway while i have to go buy new calipers to fix there incompetence!! they will never touch my truck again!! read more
