I made an online appt for 4 pm on a Sunday afternoon to have my oil changed. The appt was confirmed so I didn't expect any problems. I received a call 20 minutes before 4 to tell me that my appointment had been cancelled but I was welcome to come in Tuesday at 10:30. I am so sick of companies not honoring their appointments because they are low staffed or what ever. I made this appt this morning. If they were unable to accommodate me them why confirm it?? I have a 2023 Chevy and I hate taking the car to the local dealer for repairs so I scheduled a brake service with this Firestone as a recommendation the company I work for. When I arrived, the older gentleman (I didn't get his name) asked me to explain what was happening with the brakes. He advised me that they would love to have the business, however it was in my best interest to take the car to a dealer for the repair since it appeared there was a bigger issue then just brake pads. The car is still under warranty and the repair could be expensive. He was honest and was looking out for my best interest. For all my other cars, that wins my business in the future for sure! got a flat on the way to the store and by pure luck landed next to this firestone. went inside asked if they can change my tire because I don't have all my tools to change my tire. and first guy said yea and said it'll be an hour to two of a wait. so I said ok and waited an hour went back in and the first guy I talked to was busy so I talked with a different guy and he said they don't do that. Every time you go to firestone for an inspection they will fail you for some ridiculous reason. They have failed me for 6 month old wiper blades, the light cover on my motorcycle covered to much of the light, the same cover I've had for 6 years. I took my jeep to this location for a tire rotation and it came off the lift with the engine lights looking like a Christmas tree. read more

would give them a zero if it was an option. had them not put the plug in for an oil change about a year ago. took it back in and the new manager asked that I give them another chance. he had been sent to this store to "fix" it. well, had another oil change and the left the oil cap off. manager was rude, refused to address the situation, and could not care less about the customer. also refused to have a regional manager call me. referred me to an 800 number. they had their chance to simply make it right. they failed. read more

The technicians must not be properly trained as it seems like they simply do not install the filter correctly, that is where the oil pours from. I got a call from them saying that I needed over $1100 in New parts for the breaks. I informed them that I couldn't afford that and to just do the oil change. I pick up my car and on the way home I press the breaks and it SHAKES SO BAD that I now feel the car is unsafe to drive. When I dropped off my car it had NEVER SHOOK when I used the breaks. I turned around and informed Brian of this and his only resolve was to "rotate the tires". They are doing something to cars to force them into getting repairs!!! I contacted corporate and Brian's manager has yet to call me personally!!! Will be contacting ASE, BBB, Corporate, or anything until this is resolved!! read more

We are on a road trip and needed tires checked. We stopped in here on a family recommendation bc Discount Tire told us we needed to replace all our tires and wanted to charge $900. There is only 29,000 miles on the tires. Niko had the tire technician check out our tires. He came back and said they would not tell us to replace them for another 10,000 miles and ethically it wouldn't be right to recommend it. It was comforting to hear this and get assurance that we were probably being taken advantage of at the other place. read more

I will say they did a good job, brought my car in for several things. They fixed what they could but some repairs were out of their scope. They fixed something that wasn't the problem and i paid. When i still had the problem and got a 2 nd opinion i called and explained what the problem was. They told me they didn't have the ability to fix it the general manager called me. Throughout the whole process they were very nice kept in contact and were apologetic for the inconvenience. Best part of all is they refunded me my money plus 100 extra dollars for the trouble.. that is good business firestone thumbs up. read more

I went to firestone for an oil change. the used the wrong oil filter on my car. the outcome was that while I was driving my car the oil light came on and my engine seized. I had to tow my car to firestone. when i got back home I noticed the oil filter in my driveway. I took the oil filter back to firestone. the next day I was told that firestone had opened a claim on my car and most likely i would need to replace the engine. when I spoke to claims department 3 days later I was told since I had 188000 miles on my car unless they find an engine with exactly the same miles they would not replace the engine but would give me the value of my car. after 3 weeks I was told they will not replace my engine. when I asked about the oil that was spilled on my driveway. I was told the oil looks old so we will not pay for the clean up. so now I had to pick my car from firestone and find someone else to put an engine in my car. the amount that I was given for value of my car is barely enough to replace the engine let along all the other expenses that has incurred. I stopped by the store and asked if they would give me a free oil change and was told they cant do anything like that. I am never going to firestone even though I had purchased their lifetime allignment. as I was waiting for my car to be towed from firestone I noticed a van park next to me. the person proceeded to go to firestone and talk to the store manager, he later came back out and went to his van, I explained to him what had happened to my car and he told me similar thing had happened to his daughte after getting an oil change. firestone had stripped the oil nut. when the person returned to firestone due to oil leak he was told he needed a new oil pan $400. this is just horrible customer service. read more

If I could give no start I would. I have never in my life recorded such crappy service. Dropped my car off at 10 am to have the underneath looked at because it was rattling. Didn't hear an update for 4 hours so I called to see what was up. They hadn't even looked at my car nor was it even in the next couple to be looked at. Told them I was coming to get it and the response quickly changed to we will get it now and take a look. Waited 2 more hours before deciding this was enough and went to go get it. Needless to say after having my car almost the entire day no one even looked at it to see what the problem was. There claim was it was a miscommunication. I will be taking my service else where and will never recommend this company to anyone. read more

Dishonest and dangerous to your vehicle. The manager Nick said Firestone recommended my vehicle get a transmission fluid change based on the mileage. I asked it runs great, does it need to be done now? Chris said no, just before 104k miles & later Nick said 105k miles because there is an insurance policy they have on it in case anything goes wrong. So I came back a couple months later and got their "recommended" transmission service and I asked them to look at my brakes again like I do every visit there because they've squeaked backing out of my driveway since I had the brakes done there over a year before. They called and said the rear rotors need to be replaced, which seemed suspicious because they've checked the brakes every visit for over a year & they said they never heard the noise despite it squeaking loudly when I backed out of their parking spot when I picked it up more than once, but I said ok. When I picked my van up it started hesitating and surging on and off with the rpms going up and down like a yo-yo right in front of the store. Nick said the fluid just needs to move around awhile. But it got worse and he said don't worry we have insurance on that and we'll fix your vehicle as good as new. They looked at it again and cleared some errors they said were about the air hoses not being correctly re-attached and said it was good. Immediately it started doing the same thing, jumping gear and surging on and off. So they sent me to Mr. Transmission which kept my vehicle 3 days. They said they experienced the problem but said I should take it to the dealer which Firestone ok'd and I did. Scott Clark Toyota said that Firestone was wrong. You are not supposed to change the transmission fluid and it was definitely not recommended. They said especially it should not be removed by a machine. They spoke with Nick at Firestone and he said they did use a QMI machine and ok'd doing repair work at Toyota. Toyota wanted to try one more thing before having to do major transmission work, but Nick wanted to save money said he'd get Toyota's fluid on Tuesday and bring my vehicle in Friday for the new fluid change and he said by the way the Firestone company credit card was declined so I needed to pay Toyota and get reimbursed from Firestone Friday. I came in Friday and nobody at Firestone said they knew what was going on & Nick had been fired Wednesday and had not gotten the fluid from Toyota. Ernest said he was contacting the district manager Charlie who would call me back from a South Carolina number. Charlie never called me. Ernest said he'd have his best guy look at it before 4pm though. I had dropped it off before 8:30am and picked it up close to 6pm and they never even looked at it at all despite being told Monday to bring it in Friday. Ernest apologized and another employee reimbursed the money I had paid Toyota because Firestone's card was declined. I called customer service the next day and spent a ton of time on the phone with them and sent them a lot of paper they should have already had. They said they'd have a third party look at it, but the guy who came out was buddy-buddy with Charlie, the district manager that never called me and who seemed very evasive when I asked him his name and if he was the district manager. The other employees just said the third party guy was quality control. The guy was nice but before we had even gone far he seemed to be trying to cover up for Firestone saying he didn't believe in lifetime transmission fluids that are not supposed to be changed and he thought it was just a gimmick by the big car companies. I told him it always ran fine before I dropped it off for the transmission fluid change and immediately had problems after I picked it up. Nothing major happened in his short test drive, but it had problems on the way over and I told him you never know whether it will drive normal or act like its about to break down since the fluid change before the test drive. On the way home it happened again twice and I took a video of my dash which I sent to him. He said go back to Firestone and have them do another test drive. I did and had to wait 2 hours. But immediately on that test drive it happened right in front of the store with their mechanic sitting next to me. He said maybe just push the gas harder or less. The rpms went up to nearly 6000rpms, almost redlining it before shifting. Pulling back into Firestone the vehicle hesitated and then jumped hard into gear. He told Ernest it was slipping between 3rd and 2nd gears and had very high rpms and the information was passed onto the third party guy who said Firestone would be in touch. That was 2 weeks ago and I still haven't heard back despite emailing them asking for an update 3 days ago. Yesterday I had an appointment at a business next to Firestone and an employee there said that place had been though 4-5 managers in about the last 5 years and that my experience was inline with she'd heard from many other customers. read more

After having some terrible experiences with other auto repair shops, I was very pleased with my experience at this Firestone location. I came in for an oil change without an appointment and they said it would take 45 minutes to an hour. At the 27 minute mark, they were finishing up and came out to check me out and talk about my car. They did not pressure me to buy things I didn't need. They reminded me that my inspection is coming up soon, and gave me a written quote on what I will need to have done to pass inspection, as well as what the manufacturer recommends based on my mileage. I felt no pressure, and their prices were reasonable. read more

horrific customer service continues for 4 months now!! and no one from corporate has contacted me !!! they've deleted my last review, i wrote 2 months ago, let me start off by stating my family has a credit card with firestone and has spent thousands of dollars thru the years......they broke my glove box after changing out my in cabin air filter, (over a year ago), originally it was an easy fix with some kind of wiring, but it broke again, and still 4 months later after notifying firestone , and numerous visits and inconveniences by firestone in indian trial from j.c. the store manager ,and the supposed division manager dan, who seems to care less of my situation caused by them, well lets start with, they ordered me a new glove box , acknowledging they broke my glove box, and they ordered a truck glove box, i was never told this and i had scheduled an early morning appt for a saturday, i showed up for my appt and left my vehicle, only to get a phone call from j.c , shortly after leaving my vehicle, and after i rearranged my whole day for this, and put off a weekend getaway to take care of this appointment and inconvenienced a friend to provide with me a ride home, i asked jc why wasnt i told this ? why wasnt i called and told they received the wrong glove box?? he had no solid reasons as to why firestone dropped the ball. only " sorry ma'am" was what i got! ok so then he told me he would be ordering another glove box, another 2 weeks or so goes by, im informed they have the correct glove box, again i put off my schedule to take care of this again putting off a weekend trip, bring my car in , arrange another ride, from a friend so i coudl drop off my vehicle to get fixed, i drop off my car, shortly after i get a phone call stating ok ma'a your car is ready for pick up its done, and fixed, i go arrange and inconvenience another friend to drive me back, and i go to my vehicle and i open the glove box and it slams open .....still!!!!!!! its still broken! i told the mgr , i believe his name is morris, i show him, he tells me we just changed out the hardware , wiring, didnt need to change out the whole glove box, why not u had it??? i leave psst off , still because my glove box is still not fixed. this place is a total joke, no one remembers anything they say to customers, they dont follow thru with their work, they are extremely unprofessional from store mgr, to district mgr. to date the glove box slams open and is still broken, i just 2 days ago brought in my receipt for fuel for my vehicle to jc the store mgr, because they were reimburising me for my fuel used, and i forgot he said to bring in the credit card i use for the fuel, i forgot, i showed up there to be reimbursed with receipt in hand, and was turned away because i forgot to bring in my receipt, i accepted that i forgot, now today i have my friend go to firestone to get reimbursed with the credit card, jc wasnt in today, my friend saw morris , and he was reimbursed with cash!!!!!! why didnt this happen 2 days ago, why was i told to come back with the credit card??????? and to date again my glove box is still broken........corporate do you exist?? are you aware of how i a m being treated!!!!!????????? the saga continues,,, will they delte this review toooo?????????? read more
