This place tried to charge me almost $2,000 for a repair that I found for $700 down the street. When I questioned the charge the manager was evasive and combative. It's a shame. They've always done a great job on our car repairs! Only feedback I have is they often leave grease stains on the inside of my car. I called and asked in advance they keep an eye out for that when I picked up, but my car was still left with marks. read more

My son turned me on to Firestone Complete Auto Care at Nora Plaza. He had taken his truck there because it was convenient to where we lived at the time and he had a coupon, and he was quite pleased with the service. Based on his recommendation I took my vehicle in there the next time it needed work. I've been using them now going on a decade and a half or so and have (almost) always been completely satisfied with the service I've received. When I brought it to management's attention the one time I was not satisfied they were entirely compunctious, apologized, and immediately took appropriate action to make good on the situation at no further charge to me. One of the many things I like about Firestone Complete Auto Care is their nationwide network. From North Carolina to New Mexico I have had occasion to have a vehicle serviced with them and I value their ability to access data on computer and see that vehicle's complete service history. I admit that for simple oil changes I do choose to use Quick Lube Express just off Binford Boulevard--I appreciate the quick in-and-out service--but for any more significant maintenance or repair my choice is Firestone Complete Auto Care at Nora Plaza. Just this past week I took one car in to the the Firestone at Nora for a starter and another for the air conditioning and both problems were dealt with courteously, promptly, professionally, and at a reasonable price. read more

I stopped in to get some air in my tire. No one came out so I stepped into the garage area. Myk, the guy from the front desk came into the garage and said can you get out of my garage! I would have thought he would have ask if he could help me. I said I just need some air in my tire. He said pull your car up to the second bay but not in it. Then he went back to his desk and continued his conversation with some one. After 5 minutes of not one coming to help me I left. I will start using Discount Tires from now on. read more

Don't get tires from this company! I got tires a few months ago with the road hazard protection. I have a screw in the tire and they won't get me in to fix it for 5 days! They have their Tire event - so they're busy trying to sell you all tires - but they won't provide the service. Go somewhere that cares about their customers - not just selling more stuff! This repair would take a few minutes - but they don't care. And don't buy the road hazard protection from them - since it will be wasted. I'm going to have to take this to another place to get it fixed as I can't wait 5 more days. read more

I buy my tires online from Tire Rack and have them shipped here for installation (it is a Tire Rack-approved installer). Tire rotations are complimentary of course. You can make your appointments online or using the My Firestone app. The waiting area is pretty sparse (TV, coffee, magazines) so I either walk to the Starbucks across the parking lot (if I have a morning appiointment) or cross the street to have a beer at Big Lug. read more

I came in to get my brakes checked out and the guy sitting on the desk was very rude. I walked in greeted him and he just kept looking at the screen in front of him when he decided to talk to me he was like " ok what do you want " right off the bat I didn't want anybody at that shop to touch my car but I continued talking to him to see how disrespectful he would get. I started talking about what I think is going on and then he interrupted me and said so you need a brake inspection he didn't even let me finish talking then I just said okay thank you I will take my car some where else. Brought my car in because a screw got into a tire. After the car was in and seen I was given a call and it was explained to me that luckily the screw was short of puncturing anything expensive. Tire was fixed, all tires were inflated, and they took care of the doughnut as well. Got to pick up the car on the same day. read more

Called in Saturday to make an appointment to get my brakes replaced. The gentleman on the phone scheduled me an appointment for the next day "Sunday". I dropped my car off first thing Sunday morning. I didn't hear anything by noon that day, so I called to check up. No answer! I had someone take me by the store and they were CLOSE. Of course I dropped my keys in the drop box and had no transportation. Today, Monday, I called to see what the status was on my car. The manager, Christopher, answered the phone. Christopher is NOT a nice person nor does he have any customer service skills. I simply asked the status of my car and told him that I had an appointment on Sunday and did not get a call. He got very argumentized with me and denied that I had an appointment at his store. He told me I called the wrong store to arrange the appointment. Needless to say, I have their number saved in my phone. I have had other issues with Christopher in the past. I have been taking my cars to this Nora store for over 20 years. I AM DONE! I suggest taking your vehicle somewhere else to get serviced or to get tires. In todays world, you would think business owners would care about staying open and treat customers with awesome customer service. I would rather take my car to WALMART for service. This review is for my mother-in-law's experience with this shop. She had brought her vehicle in for a few issues. One was the AC unit had not been cooling, and other issues were easy fixes. They tried to identify the AC leak and replaced one thing after another over several days - each time the freon leaked. End result was she received her money back because it was not a complete repair. read more

I made an appt for a flat repair. After waiting for 2.5 hours (what was the point of making an appt?), they told me they sealed the rim and I was good to go. 2 days later, the tire is flat as a pancake. I took it elsewhere and they fixed it free of charge after they found the air valve itself was loose. Will not be back. :( read more

If I could give 0 stares I would. Took my car in for a simple tire change. The appointment took twice as long as agreed, for no reason (the fix was standard) - a total of 4 hours. The error light remained on even after I specifically asked if that was normal, and they said to "just drive it round for 20 minutes". No fix. They then had no spare appointments to re-fix the problem, and did not care at all. Ended up costing me hundreds of extra dollars, not to mention two sets of Uber fares across the city that they would not reimburse. Poor service - I wish I'd never gone to Firestone. read more

I have not had the best luck with car service centers in the Indianapolis area -- but after this visit, my luck just might have changed. They were efficient and very helpful even though all I needed was an oil change. They didn't try to scheme me into believing there were other "issues" with my car that would cost me. This place tried to tell me I needed a whole new $123 tire when I brought my car in with a slow leaking tire puncture. I took it to Indy Tire on Keystone, and they fixed it for $25. Beware of this place-- they are either incompetent or dishonest. read more

I would not go to this firestone. The service would have been fine, cause all I needed was an oil change. However, they siphoned some gas from my car. I mysteriously lost about 100 miles worth of gas. Not cool!! read more

They told me that they could "quickly" get my care in for an oil change... it would *only* take about 4 hours.

On Monday my car battery died while at work. Leaving the office at 6 and knowing they closed at 7p I called to see if there was a way that I could bring my car in and get a new battery that night. The guy Dave hesitantly said yes if i could get there he would help me out & ...All seemed good until I asked for a quoted price. He went through the system and gathered all my information (which is on file as well). I was quoted a price for a new battery and installation. I did let him know I had an employee discount and that was on file as well... He said ok that would be $153. I hung up amazed that it would be that expensive so I went on line and found a sale price for a BETTER battery for $114. When I called back to tell him what I found online he insisted he had added the discounts and that my car had a higher installation price. Needless to say I went into the location on 86th and Michigan Rd the normal store I use. They looked at the battery tested it for me and gave me a quoted price of $98. Now how could I go from $153 to $98 and end up with a better battery. I will NOT go to this Nora location EVER and will suggest all my friends and family to go to 86th & Michigan Rd. Funny thing is when I told others about my experience NO one was surprised and all said to NEVER to to Nora. Now I will be writing a GOOD review for the other location. They took the time and explained and were completely taken back by the actions of the Nora location. read more
