I scheduled an appointment several days in advance to have four tires on rims swapped out with the current tires. I'm late getting my winter tires off, and wanted to get the originals back on. I arrived, checked in, and was told it would be 45 minutes. I knew it was a 15-minute job, but they were busy, so I waited. After 45 minutes I began asking, but nobody knew when it would be done. Finally after an hour and a half, one of the workers came up to me and asked if I had the lug nuts for the tires. I was an idiot, and forgot the lug nuts, so that's on me. I have no fathomable idea why it took an hour and a half for them to ask me that. to make matters worse, the employee who finally asked me, was not wearing a mask, and did and still 10 minutes later while I type this, it's still not wearing a mask. meanwhile, while I waited inside on a socially distance seat, I heard customer after customer come in to complain about service, prices, or anything else. The person at the front had no idea how to deal with them, and was just a jerk to everyone, often making offhand remarks about them after they stormed out the front door. Don't go here. read more

In fact these reviews persuaded me to go here for a simple tire change. Unfortunately the price is just too high to ever return. The simple tire change that I went in for, which included the removal of my winter tires and installation/balance of my everyday tires was a whopping $160! I believe that is highly over priced. Don't bother trying to schedule your appointment online. I followed all of the steps outlined on the website and received a confirmation email that included a confirmation number. The email said that if the appointment time became unavailable that Firestone would contact me to reschedule. When I showed up for my appointment the employee said they had no record of my appointment and no availability to perform a basic oil change for four to five days. When I mentioned that I scheduled online over a week ago and had a confirmation number, he said that the online system doesn't work. If they know the system does not work, why are they still using it? What a waste of time! I will be having my car serviced elsewhere. I hope this review saves others some time. read more

I didn't have any tire work done, but they helped me out when I was in a jam. Yes! They will get my business! My daughter went out on a bike ride with our church. We discovered during said bike ride, that the bike was TOO small. So I decide we would take this to the local kids consignment around the corner from here. When my husband takes the bike out of the trunk I see that that the tires are caked with mud! I know you're asking, what does this have to do with tires, or firestone. Well, my husband and I drive over here, and asked them where we could find a hose to rinse off the bike. I can't recommend this place. They did what I asked and balanced the tires well, on the other hand they weren't careful with my wheels, didn't respect my time, and suggested some reasonable repairs but also some that were unnecessary. I set an appointment to have my truck's tires balanced and rotated and get a general inspection. I arrived on time. They weren't particularly busy at 10am on a Wednesday. They said it would take about 2 hours. I thought that was a bit excessive, but I had time, so I went and did a few errands and came back. At about the two and a half hour mark I was getting frustrated and asked what was taking so long. Inspection was still being completed. After 3 hours I got my truck back. Even though I asked them to be careful with my wheels and try and balance on the inside, they weren't able to do that for one wheel and ended up marring the paint (see photo). read more

They overcharged me because my car has coilovers on them and they said it takes them extra time to do alignment. It is unreasonable when the camber arms, control arms and such are all stock and just a coilover would take them extra time for doing an alignment. It cost me over $160 to do one alignment, and where as their lifetime alignment is $199, which they said my car won't qualify for because it has aftermarket suspension on it. If I want to spend this kind of money on an alignment, I would rather pay a little extra and go to Tru-line in Bellevue to have it professionally done. read more

Hours later they called again to tell me that they ordered the wrong part. Once they had ordered the correct part, I was informed that the price is doubled. I needed urgent car work done on a busy Sunday in July. The horrible thing about Sunday's is that a lot of auto shops are not open and you can imagine that doesn't jive well with urgent situations. I called around to as many open shops as I could within Seattle and then to distant cities until I happened upon this location in Issaquah. The staff were very professional and friendly. I explained my situation to them and they were honest from the get go in letting me know that they could get to my car that day which meant an inspection and would update me as to the progress at the end of the day. They delivered on all of it which I appreciated especially given it was Sunday and I was competing with soo many others who needed auto service. They were willing to sign for my car when the AAA tow service arrived as I could not be there in person. They answered all my questions with great detail and I never felt like I was getting the run around. I ended up needing a pretty labor intensive repair which was done in a timely manner. If I ever needed auto work again in the area I would definitely look to this Issaquah Firestone first and would recommend others to this place as well. read more

I cannot believe there is not an option for zero stars. I cannot make up the absurdity that I went through today, I have never in my lifetime dealt with such a low amount of Performance on multiple levels. First, we called yesterday and spoke with someone who validated the size and make of the tire we wanted.... their own personal Firestone brand..all terrain, super expensive, etc. We set up an appointment for today at 11:00, taking the day off to get our new tires since one was flattened and it was time to replace them after being stuck on our Cougar Mountain property for a week. I show up...and the gentleman behind the counter who was just apologizing to another customer before me for a mishap, could not find our appointment in the computer. Luckily as fate would be, I looked at his desk and pointed out the notes that the person took about our car, name, price, and appointment time. His response "it didn't make it into the computer". After looking though his computer and putting 3 phone calls on hold with a greeting of "with a customer, please hold"...seriously no "Thank you for calling Firestone, my name is xxx , can you please hold" he told me the following: 1) The tire we were guaranteed isn't even made in our size of need (20"). Mind you. This is their own brand. 2) You're not scheduled so we cannot service you, even though I pointed out the hand written note on the desk. 3) We have NO tires in your size (a very common 20" size) in stock...therefore we cannot help you. There was a brief apology followed by annoyance as there were customers calling and lining up. 4) NO offer of fixing this at all So they: 1) Validated the type and size of tire, make model of the vehicle 2) took our appointment and said to drop the vehicle off 3) failed to put us on the schedule, but rolled with it old school with the note pad I found 4) dont have anything in stock for a typical size tire 5) dont know how to service customers at all or appreciate peoples difficulties when they're in a pinch without a tire that can get them back and forth 6) Have no service to offer When I asked the gentleman who took the appointment, he said it was the Shop Manager. Had my car fixed there and they gave me a day to pick it up, I arrived and then they told me the part doesn't come in till Friday, I was there on thursday the original day they told me. It was fixed on friday but my son worked so I got there Saturday morning. My car had been opened at the shop and many of the items were stolen out of my car by someone who works there. My dash cam, all my papers from my glove compartment were taken, registration, Insurance cards, and other important items you need to have a car on the road. When I told the manager, she said it was my fault because I came on Saturday instead of friday. I asked her if they locked the cars up at night and she said yes, so I asked her how the items were stolen if my car was locked up and she had the set of keys, She just said I guess you will just have to take it up with corporate' than. My battery was dead which lead me to believe that the thief used the over head light in the car to remove the things at night. This is really a dishonest way to Run a business. read more

The Issaquah firestone is under new management, with a new philosophy of trying to get as much money out of you as possible. It's a shame, because we have been taking our 3 cars there for years under the old management (Chris) who was very trustworthy and didn't try to oversell or screw you. Our old Prius had a check engine light on so we took it in to see what the problem was. (The last time this happened to we took to the Toyota dealer, who plugged in a small computer, told us the code and explanation and charged us $10). Firestone said it was the SPark plugs and quoted us $240 to replace. Seemed steep so rang another local garage and they quoted $140 (ouch). Went to pick the car up and the manager at Firestone said it would cost me $117 to get my car keys!! I couldn't believe it. He said that it was because my wife asked for a "diagnostic" instead of a "code". This misses the point entirely - when I go to a garage I want to trust they want to help me as a customer - not screw me as much as possible because I don't use their version of the right terminology. I must say I'm shocked at the other reviews. I've been to this Firestone multiple times. I've had low tire pressure, nails in my tires and even pooped a tire on the 90!- and they were awesome! If I could give this place negative stars I would! We dropped off our car with a semi flat tire on Sunday as they had said on the phone that they would be able to patch that day. We later received a call from the dealership that they could not patch the tires as the back two had such bad tread they were no longer street legal. This gave me pause but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and asked for a quote to replace the tires. The number was staggeringly large considering I had purchased tires for much less in the past. I asked them to fill the tire with air and I would take it elsewhere to have the tires replaced (quoted at half their cost right up the street). We then let them know we would be in the next day during business hours to get the keys and pick up the car. We went to the store the next day 2 hours before closing time and the front desk informed us that they had locked the keys in the car. We have only 1 set of keys for this vehicle so they had just locked our only set! When we asked what we could do they offered to try and open the car. How did they do that? A COAT HANGER that they jammed in the door and then could not even get to unlock. At this point they shrugged their shoulders and walked back in the office. We had to use our personal AAA account which is for emergencies only to come and unlock the car. As the AAA truck was leaving they offered to pay for the unlock and we said we would call the manager Chris Stephens in the morning to arrange. We called this morning and Mr.Stephens renege on his employees offer and would not pay the unlock charge. He called my husband a liar and said that he was going to trust his front desk over us that we had asked them to lock the keys in the car. There is NO WAY we would have asked that as we ONLY HAVE ONE SET OF KEYS!! I have a formal complaint pending with Firestone corporate but DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!! I did not have an appointment, but he instantly discovered the problem and replaced my tire under warranty and helped seal my tire better, until I could get new rims. They are flexible as per your schedule and do accommodate any changes easily. We get these coupons from Firestone in mail which are very useful. On Saturday around 10AM, Called in to see if I needed an appointment to fix a flat tire and have it placed on the car. They were booked for the day, and didn't have any appointments till next week, but said if I dropped the car off and left it there for a few hours, they would fit us in. Dropped the car off around 12 noon. It took all day to get the flat fixed and tire mounted. I called around 4:PM to check on the status, not ready and they said they would call be when it was ready for pick up. 6:15PM -Still haven't heard from Firestone. Decided to return to firestone since they close at 7PM. got there about 6:40PM and the car was parked and ready for pick up. It cost over 37.00 to get the tire fixed and mounted. We asked (on a 9 am appt) if it could be done earlier than noon, an associate who wasn't even helping us said not today from across the room...very rude and sassy. I went to firestone to buy and install a new set of snow tires on my suv. When I drove off the car felt unbalanced. I had a regular service appointment later that week with my auto dealer so I had them check the alignment. It seems that Firestone used the wrong lug nuts when they installed the tires and they were all loosening. It bent the new rims, not to mention the wheels could have fallen off. I had to buy new rims and have the dealer replace the lug nuts, sensors, etc. I had to pay over $3000 due to their error. When I discussed it with the manager he reimbursed me $1000 begrudgingly. I wrote to corporate to get the rest of the money but never got a response. Avoid this chain if you can. Not interested in customer satisfaction or safety. read more

I had an appointment scheduled for 3pm on Sunday 11/13/22 for an alinement and had arrived 10 min early. After about 5 mins, a employee appeared to see what I wanted. Explaining I was there for a 3 pm appointment, the employee looked bewildered and asked if I made the appointment online. Advised I was not sure as my wife made the appointment. Employee advised "oh, yeah can't make online, your double booked ". And proceeds to advise there is nothing he can do and to schedule another appointment. After trying to reason with the employee who happened to be the manager, without a name tag on it became impossible as the only offer was to make another appointment, ignoring my complaint now that my time was wasted. Meanwhile my wife called Firestone CS, and was laughed at as they are as incompetent as the employee I spoke to. We have a lifetime alignment agreement that we use every year for some time without issue, but I think this is the employee, and Firestone not accepting us as customers and negating the agreement made in good faith. The reviews are unfortunately very true and I would plead for anyone reading this to take their business and money to a shop that will show some respect and dignity to their customers. Been here twice now and the employees have been incredibly friendly. They've been accommodating of schedules and don't force fixes of items they find, but still document them for you to take to go. The parking area can be hectic; are you supposed to double park? Also the website appointment system that is company wide, apparently doesn't correspond to actual availability locally. Came in cause the sidewall on my 70k mile warranty affinity touring tire bulged. The store manager Mason would not give me a replacement and the prorated cost was virtually the same cost of a new tire with every additional fee he tacked on. How come I have to pay for the recycling fee for a tire the store agrees was due to manufacturer defect? Pay $17.99 to balance the new tire? Or pay for a new stem/labor? I also paid $200 for lifetime alignments and the last time I was in, Devin said the tech who inspected my tires and replaced my brakes said an alignment wasn't necessary. Failed to note my account.
