Dishonest business practices. Took advantage of my son's lack of car knowledge and charged him $170 for a flat repair. When I called the manager, Calvin, to complain he said, "He authorized us to do the check engine light diagnostic therefore we will not reverse the charge." The check engine light, P0500 code, will always come on when the spare tire is installed on a Subaru since there is no speed sensor in the spare tire donut. Any SAE technician knows this. The Subaru dealer also confirmed that they should not have charged to do a diagnostics for a flat repair. I flat repair should be between $20-25. read more

This is the second time this has happened to us in the past two months. Firestone is very good at selling tires, doing brake work or other high dollar repairs. I fully understand this and I can certainly understand the lack of excitement over a mundane tire repair job. I mean, after all, this would take 20 minutes to do and it wouldn't pay much. I do understand. Firestone (if you read these) try to also understand the frustration of a busy family with a TPMS light on and a tire that is going flat. Think how that family feels when they are told " Sorry, we are totally booked and we can't possibly look at it for three days!" Really? Don't you think that just maybe it would be a good thing to have one of your lesser skilled tire guys take the car to the side where it won't tie up a stall and jack it up with a floor jack to get the leak fixed while the customer waits? The next time that customer needs tires or a brake job who will they remember? It was nice to call the Midas store and hear "Sure, we can certainly fix that....when can you bring it in?" Looking at your reviews this seems to be a trend. I suppose if you are indeed all that busy you should probably continue doing as you're doing! read more

Went to have my tires rotated, they never checked the air pressure. Also the salesman in the showroom threatened to not release my car back to me unless I bought four new tires from them claiming my tire tread was "too worn down" for him to legally release my car back to me. THIS IS A KNOWN SCAM. No tire company has the right to keep your car. After I pointed this out he "did me a favor" and released my car back to me. One star for incompetence and trying to scam a customer. read more

The Firestone employees were accommodating to my schedule and took my car for a tire rotation and oil change on short notice. I dropped my car off and a couple hours later I got a call that it was complete. They were very friendly and easy to talk to. The work was high quality with no issues on my end. read more

This is an update from my Jan. 2017 review. I decided to give them another try since it had been a couple of years and hoped there was new management or employee turnover but my experience was even worse than before. I went in for an oil change, tire rotation and alignment and they put the wrong oil in my car despite the many years of history on my account in their computer. Not only that, I found out that one of my tires was missing 2 lug nuts. Don't go here. Go to the one on 140th in Bellevue. They are so much better. read more

Charged wife $150 in labor to tighten an Outback e-brake, a job that takes under 2 minutes per wheel. Charged for wiper blades, but didn't install. Oil change (maybe they did it, maybe they didn't), no fluids topped off. I am done with these people. Either incompetent or crooks. read more

I called in yesterday to schedule an appointment to have my oil changed. I believe I spoke with David, he informed me that they don't have any open spots for the next couple of days but if I wanted to drop off my car they would get it back to me at the end of the day. I thought perfect, I dropped off my vehicle at 3pm and reconfirmed with David that he would call me when the oil change was completed so I can pick up my vehicle. 6:30pm rolls around and I do t hear anything back, I Uber back and arrive at 7:02pm and they are closed. I come back this morning at 7am and David doesn't give two shits about not calling me back or any of the inconvenience caused. Terrible customer service. I highly recommend firestone in Bellevue off of 140th they take care of you and make you feel like family. read more

Had a tire lose its tread on I-90. Pulled off and replaced it with the donut. Wife checked for closest tire shop, only one open on a Sunday. Luck was again with us just a short hop from where we had parked. Explained the situation to David, who even though they were booked pretty solid got our car into the shop quickly and had us on our way in just under one hour. My tired blewout around 5pm on Saturday. I normally go to Chaplins, but they were closing and suggested I take the car to Firestone, this one was the closest. The guys working, were also in the process of closing up shop, by the time I got there was around 5:20pm. The person at the counter said not to worry if they can fix the tire they'll hook me up. Unfortunately, the piece of metal stuck in the tire rendered a fix useless, so they popped on the spare for me and give me helpful tips about using it (since I've never used one before and asked). They don't carry Continentals, so I have to take it to Chaplins this week and order a new tire. Everyone I dealt with was professional, HELPFUL, and nice to deal with. They didn't Mansplain anything to me, which is normally what I deal with when it comes to bringing my car in a shop. I would definitely trust this crew with my car in the future. read more

We've used this firestone for years with many different cars. Wheels, alignment, regular oil changes, swapping winter/summer tires, and such. Super friendly, very clear communications, don't over sell or up-sell more services. (aside from lifetime alignment checks that are really a good deal). Compared with other firestones (eg belred) they are much better. Wish they would accept tires shipped directly from tirerack.com. Hint: you can park along the backside if the lot is full. read more

I took my 2013 Hyundai in for a brake repair (rotors and pads) and drove out with brakes that no longer worked properly. I brought it right back and they said they bled the line again and all should be well. Well, it was NOT well. The brakes now require you to pump them before they will engage properly. If I press quickly on the brakes they pedal just goes to the floor and the car does not stop!!!!! When I stopped back in and asked for help they acted like they could care less and were not interested in doing anything about it besides scheduling a follow up appointment. In the phone, I was told it is 19.99, but when I went there, they told me I need to pay more than 60 because my car requires more expensive oil... Called to get a quote for a tire replacement and spoke to a rep on the phone. He started calling me "Steve". My name is not Steve. After five minutes explaining that they don't carry the right type of tires for a 2010 Honda Fit he was still calling me Steve. I even spelled my name out for him. When the conversation was over and we said our goodbyes, he politely said "Have a good day, Steve". I felt like I was taking crazy pills... Obviously I never scheduled an appointment with them. Let me first start by saying, I hate writing bad reviews because I genuinely believe that everybody has a bad day here and there and they shouldn't be judged too harshly for it. Especially in customer service. However this seems to be a reoccurring theme and if it took me 2min to discover that via yelp and the manager hasn't taken action on it... Then this scaving review is in order. That being said I had a tire that suddenly started losing air fast while passing through. Naturally I thought "Les Schwab" but they were too far away. So I went to Firestone. I pulled in and had nowhere to park. So i was in the middle of the parking lot losing air fast. I ran in and the guy doing nothing at the desk said he would be with me in a few min. Uhhh. Ok. After he made a phonecall he asked how he could help. I told him the nature of my dilema and he promptly said the car would have to stay overnight..... 3plus hours till closing and mechanics standing around and you need it overnight for 30min job????? Wasn't going to work so he offered to put air in it so i could get to Midas. Buddy comes out to put air in and says "you cant drive it over here to get air on that flat tire or you'll shred the tire. Sorry man. Cant help you." dumbfounded that I'm literally stranded in the parking lot with no one from the company taking initiative to help me out of the goodness of thier heart I began throwing on the spare myself in the parking lot while two mechanics watched on their cigarette break from about 50ft away. Just as I start the front desk associate comes out and says "excuse me. You cant do that here. Its an insurance liability." I get that. And totally agree. BUT NO ONE IS HELPING ME FIGURE THIS OUT AND I'M IN YOUR PARKING LOT!!!??? Finally the actual manager comes out and manages to get air into the tire enough for me to in his words "get off the lot so its not a liability." wow. Just wow. I manage to limp into Midas at 445pm on a Friday and the dude has me on the road in 30min FOR FREE. He comped it for me. Didn't have to comp the 30 dollar bill but he was making a statement for his company and his customer service. NEVER STOP AT FIRESTONE IN AN EMERGENCY FLAT TIRE SITUATION. They don't deserve to be called a company and should be ashamed they got worked by their competitors who now, have a customer for life :) read more

I was in a real pinch the first time I came in here. I had to drive from Issaquah to Seattle to Everett back to Seattle back to Issaquah for one of the biggest days of my career. I woke up early and noticed a screw in my tire while I was still in my driveway! I started panicking and after calling various places and not getting anything under an hour wait (before anyone even looked at my car!), I arrived at Firestone noticeably stressed. I walked in and told Chris (the store manager) my predicament and he told me he could have me back on the road in an hour tops. I told him that still puts me up against the clock but it'd work. I don't know if he told the tech to put a move on it or what but I was back on the freeway in half that! Crisis averted. Since then I have taken my business back and have had nothing but great experiences. I was recently in the market for a new set of tires and talked to Chris about it. He asked how long I was gonna have the car, what my driving habits are etc... before suggesting a "middle" option in my price range that he could have done that day. But he told me if I was willing to wait 2 weeks they were having this big sale where I could basically get the "premium" tires for the price of the middle ones. So he scheduled me an appointment for the date of the one day sale and now I have a 65,000 mile warranty for the price of a 40,000 mile one. As a guy who can't even change his own wiper blades, it feels good having the peace of mind that I can take my car here, get good prompt service and not get ripped off due to my ignorance when it comes to all things mechanical. read more

These idiots "fixed" a flat for me a month ago then had the audacity to suggest tire repair/replacement for their botched repair when I brought the car back in. On a subsequent visit, I was quoted one price on the internet, then upcharged at the shop because its "so hard" to replace the battery. "So hard" represented removal of a plastic cover. BUYER BEWARE. Called Mason and team at Firestone and not only did they fit me in last minute but they stayed to change my oil and turn off my maintenance light. I had a nice experience here. Albert and Mike were really helpful and accommodating. My car had an electrical issue and I needed my car fixed right away. This was one of the few auto shops nearby open on a Saturday, and they were able to take my car in and repair it in a timely manner. Much to my surprise, it was ready to go within a couple hours. My terrible experience with Firestone in Issaquah unfortunately must be shared. I had a slow leak in one of my tires on my 2017 Prius. I removed the wheel and brought it to Firestone for a repair. They quoted me $30 for a repair, which I found exorbitant, but decided to go with it. The quote of "several hours" was also disconcerting, but I chose to leave the wheel there. Several hours later, with no call, I dropped by to check on progress. Not only was it not ready to go, they declared the tire unrepairable. They found evidence of a previous "temporary patch", and would not apply their own fix. This was hard to believe, as I am the original owner of this car new, and no tire work had ever been done. The floor manager suggested I just keep airing up the tire until time for replacement. (What?!?) When I got the wheel home, I discovered they had not finished replacing the valve stem, and there was no valve core. It also looked like it had not been rebalanced after the tire was removed from the wheel. I scared up another valve core, and luckily the tire held air. I demanded my $30 back, which they grudgingly did. I proceeded to add a can of "Slime" flatfix, and the slow leak was stopped. The store had no problem sending me off with an inoperable wheel. I recommend going elsewhere. read more

I thought great, okay, so I asked how long will it take? and he said "10 1/2 hours".... I laughed and said good bye. Why did he tell me he had availability provided I hurry then tell me it will take 10 1/2 hours??!?! Why didn't he just say, "Sorry, we don't for today but tomorrow we will." Took my spare boat tire trailer into them today b/c the stem valve had cracked. They fixed it with a brass stem replacing the broken plastic stem in 7 minutes and I asked how much I owed them - they said nothing! Great service and a great way to make a repeat customer. Service is good and staff is courteous. But they tend to be a little on the pricier side for services beyond the standard oil change. Giving them one less star than I would have (3 instead of 4-stars) because even with an appointment they almost always tell you to leave the car there for the entire day... and that's just for an oil change. read more

I had a great experience here! Came in on a Sunday afternoon with a screw stuck in my tire. They let me know over the phone and at the shop that it could be as late as Monday evening (lots of cars in the lot!). I got a call Monday morning that they needed to replace the tire. Great overall experience. Needed four new tires and took advantage of Destination LE2 variants on sale. Service was professional, fast and friendly. While sitting in the clean waiting room, I had the opportunity to observe the crew in action. They were efficient, communicative, and spirited. I observed an interaction where they discussed saving a customer money while providing the same level of service for the lower priced option. Courtney took point and handled my transaction (tire choice, air filter, etc.) with cheerful alacrity. I read through the lower star reviews.
