If I could give 0 stars I would! I took my car in in perfect running condition for just an oil change. After I left I went home, later that day I went to pick my son up from school and my car started making a horrible screeching sound and shaking hard when idling. I took it back and they told me they put the wrong oil in the car. It was putting out codes for oil viscosity and nothing else. After changing the oil twice more and the tech telling me he couldn't hear the screeching I asked them to run the codes again. Sure enough it's producing every code signifying a catastrophic engine failure!!! No one was empathetic, they don't give a crap. Acted like it was no big deal, I'm not going to throw a fit in the store or cuss at anyone because that won't help but I did call corporate and file a claim. If I don't hear news by Wednesday I will be getting a lawyer! If I could get in touch with their district manager or regional manager I would because something needs to be done ASAP. I went in Wednesday Aug. 9 around 4pm. Shane Yogi was the manager and he is 100% the reason I will NEVER use this or any other Firestone for any service going forward. I was getting new tires and a vehicle inspection. I came in to discuss what services were suggested on my car. He was confrontational from the start and seemed like I was inconveniencing him with my questions. I just wanted to pay for the tires and choose another Firestone at this point, for his rudeness. When going to pay, the price was not the agreed upon price that was approved when I talked to Eric, the store manager, the day before. I guess there were no notes on my account that proved this and Eric was not in the shop. Shane said that I would have to deal with Eric the next day when he got back. I needed my car that night, so coming back the next day wasn't ideal. I was obviously frustrated by this and their lack of coordination/communication . Anytime I was talking, Shane was talking over me and at one point he clapped his hands in my face and told me, "not to interrupt him!" It was extremely unprofessional, and unacceptable. I will not be treated like this from your Firestone employees. You lost a customer for life! I resolved the issue with Eric the next day but not before he tried to blame me for the mix up on prices. After three visits and three failed attempts to locate my brake vibration issue, manager Henry told me the problem is "...basically out of our hands." Made an appointment at 4 for tire alignment and came in early at 3 to see if I could get it done. They told me the piece broke and I would have to come back at 4 when the new piece got there. I came back at 4 just for another guy to tell me that what I needed done I could've had done this whole time and I waited for no reason basically. I give my keys sit down and wait and my car doesn't get taken back till 4:35. What is the point of an appointment if y'all aren't even going to follow through on it. The guy was also rude as well. Here I am still waiting for a damn tire alignment STILL when the place is not busy at all. I would choose any other place over this one. read more

Five hours to do just alignment is ridiculous no communication whatsoever didn't even get to oil changed in the truck set an appointment at 9 AM for this to be done picking up Truck at 2:30 with just an alignment done never come here again yes they explained a car got stuck but no communication whatsoever to the owner of the truck fucking piss poor work!!! And can't forget to mention coming into the store when we picked up the truck the employee was on his phone didn't even recognize us that we were in the office waiting for about five minutes until he realize that we were in the shop..... AVOID Extremely slow, wastes your time for completely avoidable situation, drops the ball on many fronts. The guy"s are friendly enough but what good is friendliness if you're going to jerk the customer around, lie about appointment time, not even start on the car 30 minutes past the time they said they'd be done by. 2 and half hours wait and they didn't even start on the car. And I had an appointment! They knew they didn't have a chassis mic or a master tech that has good ears, yet they signed me up for all of this. They didn't call me that it was running late. I explained how another tech heard the sound coming from the rear and said it sounded like a wheel bearing. They can totally combine information, and put their heads together, one person for the ears, one person for the master tech knowledge. They silently refuse to use common sense. I as an amateur can already think of multiple points to check first, that don't take a lot of labor. This was the second time for comprehensive diagnosis. And I was going to pay it. But even after failing to diagnose it the first time, and still after the second time didn't even need the rest of the comprehensive checkup (which means you can spend more time doing the particular diagnosis) they say they need to charge me yet a third time, much more expensively. WTF! Plus there is plenty of easy stuff to check. There is some rush on the edges of the rotors. Mabe it's that. Taking that off doesn't take extensive expensive wheel bearing disassembly. You're already not doing a bunch of the stuff you normally do when you charge for a comprehensive checkup. The axel doesn't turn smoothly, so that's already a clue. There are plenty of things to check.you don't need to hear the sound nor does the master tech only need to hear the sound. You knew you had a deaf master tech. you know you scheduled me way early. you knew you were running hours late and didn't call me. This place is garbage in almost all fronts. Punctuality. Customer experience care. Scheduling. Competence. read more

I stopped by here on a Saturday afternoon to have my truck battery checked. After I explained to Mark why I thought I was having battery issues, he said that didn't seem right and came outside to look at it. The battery itself appeared to be fine but there were a couple cables running from it that had some residue on them and were swollen. Mark said it didn't need to be fixed ASAP but it was something I should take care of sooner than later. I was quoted a price of about $150. I said I would come back at a more convenient time. On Sunday I decided to stop by Big O just to get a second estimate. When I explained the situation over the counter I was quoted about $130 so that seemed fair. Really not much of a price comparison between Firestone and Big O. They didn't have the part and since they were a little cheaper and closer to my house I said let's go ahead and order it. Before she placed the order she wanted to check the car to confirm. Upon checking it, it turned out that quote was not accurate because it was actually a different part needed, which they had in stock and which they charged me $20 to fix. Despite the price difference I thought Mark was very helpful and friendly in checking under the hood and tightening up a couple screws. Lesson here is always get a second opinion as this second opinion saved me about $130. The 3 stars is for the customer service. read more

Came here on a Saturday because my Tire Pressure light kept coming on even after I've put air in it at Chevron last week. Came in and spoke with Marc about my concern. He advised that maybe the tire pressor reader at Chevron wasn't accurate and we can check and put air in it today and if it comes back on again they can lift it up and check for any leaks. My back passenger tire was at 16lbs when they put air in to make it 33lbs. Well, the next day the Tire Pressure light came on once again. I got real nervous and put air in it at Chevron and checked the pressure, it was at 20lbs. I brought it in and spoke with Marc. He said it was pretty busy today & if I can come back in an hour and a half. I came back they took my car and few minutes later they said nothing was wrong with my tire and it had adequate amount of pressure on all tires. I advised them that I had put in air in it not to long ago and was at 20lbs when I checked it. They still insisted nothing was wrong. Ok? The next day my Tire pressure light came on again. I took it to Discount tires and they found a large nail in my tire. So thanks Firestone for the free air you put in my tires and thanks for not properly examining them. Marc was a nice guy though he squeezed me in even when it was pretty busy. But I probably will not come to this place with any car issues. read more

I hate to be a Karen but here we go. I made an appointment online for an oil change and a tire rotation January 18th at 6pm. Someone called me back and apologized but they have been closing at 6pm due staffing issues. He asked if we could reschedule two days from then, at 5pm. I said sure no problem. So I show up at the rescheduled time. I was greeted and gave them my info. The man said he didn't see my appointment. I explained what happened and double checked the phone number that called me. Still he didn't see the appointment and said " I mean we can try to get you in but no guarantees". So I left and went across the street to break masters lol. This is my first time here and I am so impressed! I was recommended by a friend to come here and I am so happy I listened to him! Thanks Roger! First off, you can make an appointment, so you don't have to wait forever and waste your whole day. Second, the place is surrounded with places to eat at while the work on your car is being done. Yummy. Third, the waiting area is nice and clean. I wasn't afraid to sit down on the chairs. They also have a little area for kiddos to sit and play. The toys were clean as well. Fourth, the customer service guys are awesome! They talk to you instead of down to you. They didn't make me feel dumb at all, which is a nice change from most mechanic places. Lastly, I felt valued. Everyone was friendly. I was thanked repeatedly. I had a good experience all the way around. I will be coming back here for sure for my car's needs, which hopefully isn't too often! read more

If you like waiting then this is the place for you. My son and I been waiting for over 1hr and still no communication or information about my vehicles inspection results from the oil change service. When I arrived I asked for Henry and he's off in Wednesday. So dealing with Shad is so bad. A customer comes in for two tires and tells them it's going to be 4 hours and there is only 3 cars here.. this team is so so slow I can't believe this store is still open, when your telling everyone you can't do work. I came here because I use to work for BSRO and back when I worked for the corporation they didn't allow this or did they allow the phones to ring when someone is standing there available. I'm very upset about the quality of service.. oh by the way who cares Shad that your moving to TN in October. It feels like because this guy is on his last days he will not be giving anyone 100% customer service. If I could have given zero stars I would have. Their mechanic shears off one of my wheels studs and attempts to put the blame on myself or another business. claimed it was over tightened. funny thing was just last week I myself took the same wheel off, screwed the lug nuts on by hand then tightened them with the vehicles standard lug wrench. All because I took the car in for a pin hole in the tire and they said they wouldn't patch it because the tread was too low? 1/8" of tread is not to low. They treated me and my son like we were a couple of dumb asses. Pretty sure they were just looking to rip us off for our money. Find yourself another store! Went in for an Oil Change today, POOR customer Service, I stood there at the counter for 20 Min, people in the shop saw me there, but did not seem to care. They sat there joking and talking but no acknowledgement. Finally 20 min later William came out and was very rude, unprofessional. I had a coupon from the firestone website for a Full Synthetic oil Change for 49.99 but told me very snotty that they do not take those coupons for european cars, I have a VW Passat. and then proceeded to tell me what the cost was I was like hell the dealer is cheaper then that. Had to go to them on a Sunday as there were very few other people open, with a screw in my tire was told it was fully fixable not to worry and they would get me in right away, after two hours of waiting in the shop watching the mechanic monkey around they finally rolled the tire out and had me come out to look at it and told me that it wasn't fixable they tried to put a plug into it twice and because it was in an angle it couldn't be patched I tried to go back to my dealership where I bought the vehicle thinking there was warranty on my tires they told me because someone else touched it they wouldn't warranty It any longer! I asked the service rep the next day if there was anything he could do to help me out on purchasing a new tire and they don't stock the brand of tire that I need so even though he was able to try and help me on the price it would be no warranty and I wouldn't even be able to come back to them for service on the tire because they don't carry them, so what good is it buying an expensive tire if you can't even get service on it even from the factory warranty? All in all very disappointing and expensive mistake on my part I should've never trusted them to try and fix my tire I believe the mechanic who tried to handle the tire repair was totally incompetent reported this to the representative who help me and he apologized but that was about it so I'm out $300 for something that should've never happened read more

Shad has always been polite and respectful and doesnt talk to me like I'm stupid because I am a girl. Everything is explained to me in layman's terms so I understand exactly what is going on. Another customer was told to come in for an oil change appt and walked out angry for same reason. Overbooked. If you don't have time, then quit telling people it's ok to come in. It's one thing to get lousy service, but it's much worse when you are lied to by someone who is supposed to be a well-trained professional mechanic. My wife took our car to this place because the instrument panel on the car said tire pressure was low. I did not know if I had a slow leak or a bad sensor. Supposedly, the mechanic looked over the tire and said the reason the indicator light was on was because it was "cold outside." Really? In Las Vegas?!?! Granted, the temps were down into the 40's at night, but I've driven the car in snow with much lower temps without the indicator light going on. I took the car to a different shop and they found a nail in the tire. The other shop showed me the nail and I can't see how this shop could have possibly missed it. I feel as if I had been lied to because these people couldn't find a good sized nail sticking out of a tire. What if my wife had a blow out? What if she lost control of the vehicle? What if I hadn't had the smarts to take the car to someone else for a second opinion? I mean really, I don't see how they could have possibly missed this, especially since they are a tire place!!! My recommendation is that you avoid this place. Clearly their mechanics are not trained well enough to do their jobs, obviously due to either a poorly trained or inept store manager. read more

Great experience for my second time in. Wanted to get a oil change before I went to get a SMOG test. They happen to let me know that they themselves do SMOG tests there. Well I now have experience as to why this location has so many low ratings recently. I took my Infiniti in for brakes last week, it took 4 HOURS while I was there waiting, but had a conversation and was reassured they were doing their best. Found out on Sunday they put the cheapest brakes they had on (wasn't told this, or given the option of better pads while I waited for 4 HOURS) only told this after the brakes started to make a grinding sound and I brought it back!! Now I was told it will take about 6 HOURS this time to do what they should have done the first time! While I wait! The only good thing is they are not going to charge more money for the brakes they should have put on to begin with, which is surprising! Will probably be going to a different location for future work. read more

I can't even give this company a one star. After bringing my car in when the battery died, they proceeded to tell me I needed to spend $2000 to also get an oil leak fixed. I knew it had a leak so I went ahead and told them to fix it. Each day they kept making up excuses for why it was taking so long. A week later I picked up my car and started to drive it home. It didn't even make it home from the shop and the engine completely died. I had to have it towed to my house then to the shop the next week. They told me that there was an oil clog and that they couldn't get to it and I had to take it to the dealer. $2000 later, no car, dead engine and a total nightmare to deal with. I would have preferred to just drive the car with a bum battery. This place refuses to take responsibility and I am still out $2000 for work that actually made my car undrivable. I bring my 2008 VW Jetta here all the time to get air in my tires and I've had oil changes too but today's service was OUTSTANDING. Gilbert put air in the tires as usual but I told him I had another indicator light on the dashboard. Without missing a beat, he said the right rear turn signal light was out and Will the manager told him to go ahead and replace it now if I wanted to (I wanted to). I drove away 15 minutes later with a prompt-free dashboard and I paid much less (and didn't have a two hour wait) than last time I had a bulb replaced by my crosstown European car mechanic. Scheduling and wait time needs improvement! Needed an alignment. Was told there was a two hour wait so I chose to make an appointment and come back a week later. My appointment time was for 11am. The car was taken back at 1:05pm. They are saying it will be finished at 2:10pm. So with an appointment you are looking at 3-3 1/2 hours. No one bothered to call or explain if or why there was a delay. I just got to sit in the waiting room with my two kids and keep asking when it will be done. read more

He's really great with customers and always maintains a good and upbeat attitude which goes a really long way, further than most employees realize sometimes. Great work at a fair price. I came in to get a couple brand new tires and some general maintenance. I was allowed to use multiple coupons to fit in everything I needed. The lounge is comfortable cant really complain when you have foo options available and a TV with satellite. I will definitely be back for any future work. read more

Right time, right place. These folks are phenomenal! I'll drive over there from Henderson from now on. These guys are my tire guys for life! I bought a set of tires with road hazard protection in Washington state. I ended up with a flat on the west side of town and found this store on the Internet a couple of blocks away. I removed my tire and headed on over. I received a very friendly greeting by not one, but two, techs when I walked in and was offered a cold bottle of water on one of the hottest days of the year. The tech showed and explained to me the damage to my tire and explained that I needed to get a new one, which the road hazard covered. I was cashed out by the store manager, who was also awesomely friendly. The entire team made what was a crappy situation for me completely positive and I appreciate them very much. read more
