I was very happy with this place. They did not try to sell me everything but did tell me exactly what needed to be done on my car.

I scheduled my appointment way in advance to avoid any delays. My appointment was scheduled for 9:00am. No parking inside as the lot was full so I had to park my car outside in the street. It was almost 10am and my car was still parked outside where I left it. My car wasn't ready until about 1pm. How long can an oil change take? I get there to pick up my car and pay for the service. They give me my total and I immediately knew it was excessively high than what I am used to paying. I asked to go over my charges. The tech goes over my charges with no further explanation. I knew something wasn't right but went ahead and paid and was told they would email a copy of my receipt. I checked my receipt and come to find out I was over charged. Immediately called to obtain a clarification. I was told I couldn't get a refund over the phone and that I had to go back in. So frustrating!!! I don't live in the area. It was already an inconvenience that they had me waiting for my car 4+ hours when in fact I had an appointment and now I am having to drive back for a "mistake" they made. All this could have been avoided if that tech would have printed a copy of my receipt and have gone over my charges in detail when I questioned the high amount he was charging me and when I had requested to go over my charges. So upsetting! Not only they don't honor appointments, I was waiting there the whole day and they had the audacity to over charge me for extra stuff. Very dissatisfied with the service and the time of delivery; the fact they are understaffed and take on too much work and do not honor those who have actually taken time to schedule an appointment ahead of time, and they charge for extra stuff. 1. Don't take on too much work if you can't manage the workload and are understaffed. 2. Give priority to those who actually scheduled an appointment in advance for service. 3. Do not over charge. 4. Pay attention to details to prevent errors. read more

Do NOT GO HERE! These f---ers try to bilk you out of your $ MONEY. They told me my breaks were "Metal on metal" . Fu---ng liar! Quoted me almost $2K to do the work. Took my Toyota to another shop and they told me I have plenty of miles left on my breaks. I decided to do it anyway and bought premium parts from Amazon and had the work done! Total was under $500. Took my company's vehicle here for scheduled maintenance. Employees called me to let me know one tire had a nail in the wall that could not be repaired. I asked the workers to replace the bad tire with the spare and they agreed to do so. The spare was not put on and the bad tire was placed in the rear where the most stress is. The tire ended up blowing up on the freeway in rush hour on my way to work. Only reason I'm ok is because of God. Take your business somewhere else if you care about your well being. read more

I came in to get my brakes fixed because they were making a decent amount of high pitched noises. Paid $300 for brakes but they made a lot of noises still. Brought vehicle back in for further "fixing" but now the brakes still make a ton of noise when stopping even at very low neighborhood speeds. Was asked if I do a lot of "stop and go driving" in LA??? What other kind of driving do people do here? I just want my brakes to not squeal. I am not some maniac skidding around the streets. I do not recommend the services from this business. I will be taking it to a smaller shop and hoping for the best. read more

The good: I needed my vehicle repaired quickly and they were able to get me in the next morning. They are also very nice people. The bad: Their prices are outrageous. I looked up the parts costs for the parts they installed on my vehicle on Rock Auto.com and Firestone charged me four times the cost as I could have bought them for and this was for the good Motorcraft name brand parts on Rock Auto .com. Similarly, I looked up the estimated labor cost for the repair on repairpal.com and the labor was about five times the cost at Firestone as on the website. If you want reasonably priced auto repairs, this is definitely not the place. If you have money to burn and want to get the work done quickly, this is your place. read more

Came in Saturday morning to have a blown out tire replaced, along with the starter going out that morning as well. Explained to rep Bryce that my car needed a tire, starter and/or alternator, battery and oil was probably due. Bryce first asked me, "Is my car stolen?" Now I broke eye contact and took a second to realize what he just said. I didn't make mention of it, given how bad my car needed the repairs due to emergency. After spending $890 to repair. I'm giving one star because of Bryce's poorly constructed remarks Saturday morning. Having been a customer for six years, I'm walking away before I spend another thousand dollars on an emergency. Hopefully you're not a black man wearing a sweatsuit on a rainy Saturday morning. As I'm afraid you too will be asked if your car is stolen given the problems you tried to explain going on with the car. read more

This place used to be so good. I wrote a positive review about this place not that long ago, so it hurts to update my impression. My lights went out on my Camry. I thought it was a fuse because they both went out at the same time, and asked them to check. They did and said that both of my headlights actually did go bad. They quoted me $450 to replace the bulbs. I said no thank you since I know that halogen bulbs cost about $60 and take about 2 minutes to replace. The guy working the office charged me for the check up (he gave me $10 off of the $100 diagnostic and it is for him I gave an extra star) and said they'd put back my original lights and give me back my car. After about 10 minutes, I asked the guy when they were going to bring my car. He asked his mechanic and said it was ready. I waited a little more before realizing they expected me to go in the mechanic bay and drive it out. The customer care there has really taken a hit, and the prices have exploded. I definitely cannot recommend them anymore. read more

HORRIBLE experience. Called in the morning to get a quote for a brake fluid exchange- was asked about my vehicle information and was given a price. Took my car in and Bryce (store manager) proceeded to tell me that the price given on the phone was incorrect ($70 difference) due to the model of my car (which I had provided them this info on the phone prior to taking my car in). Apart from the issue with the price, Bryce was incredibly rude and condescending, proceeding to make comments about my finances. He then told me to take my car and leave if I'm unhappy with the price. I called 2 other locations and they both told me the original price that I was given. Since I had already checked in my car and was in a rush, I left my car with them to service. Upon picking up my car, Bryce was still trying to make jokes with me, which was not appreciated. read more

My Jeep Wrangler, Yna, was long overdue for an alignment and she also needed to get her rear brakes switched. I was also noticing for about 3 weeks that my front right tire was consistently lower in PSI than the other 3. When I got there, all staff was very friendly and immediately were able to address my car and her issues. Bryce was primarily taking care of Yna and was very informative and super helpful. He walked me through all the issues and made sure I was well informed of the mechanics and what needed to be done. Turns out, my right front tire had a slow leak due to a nail that was jammed in the inner side of the tire. Bryce informed me that I had 2 options: 1. Take the tire to a shop that would patch it up (this location is very honest and holds a lot of integrity and wouldn't patch my tire, which I'm really appreciative of) and 2. Get rid of my front right tire, replace it with the spare, left front tire will be my new spare, and purchase one new tire for the replacement of the front right. I went for option 2 as I wouldn't want to run to another shop to get that taken care of, nor would I want the anxiety of operating my vehicle on a faulty tire. Initially, my quoted time was to pick up the next morning as Firestone didn't have my tire in stock and would be delivered by end of day. Didn't bother me at all as the experience I've had so far was very comforting. I leave to let them work on my car as it did have a lot of work needed. Come 5pm, he mentions that the tire had arrived early and I would be able to pick it up before close! I am really grateful I found this Firestone because everyone from management and their mechanics are incredibly friendly and informative. Highly recommend, 10/10 :) read more

This place is amazing! I had a rough morning when a truck almost hit me. Thank God nothing happened but my tire hit the curb and got flat. I came in after work (around 6:30 almost their closing time) to replace my tire because I was sure I had to get a new one, but Joey and Brian spotted the problems and took care for me and I ended up not having to replace it. My appointment was for 0800. I got there before then and was surprised to find it would take all day for servicing my car! Can't understand why the appointment times are all available on the website! Don't look at that because the store mgr can't block out some of the times when they are short workers. . The only thing about this store is the mgr, BRYCE! 10/31/18 . Traveling from San Gabriel Valley, our food truck had a tire pop on our way to El Segundo and we found ourselves at this Firestone location after making two stops at two other shops who were either closed or not able to service us. The service here was great and they were able to make space for my big truck in their very busy lot. Although I arrived maybe around 3:30 pm, I was on my way around 6:30 pm. Due to the dire circumstances I was in, I'm glad this place helped me out on such short notice. Big shout out to the young skinny mechanic with glasses. I use their service often as I need because location is convenience and they usually provide great customer service. This time in July, my rear tire got flat so I took it here. They were super busy at the time but they were able to squeeze me in and even they worked over time. Many places they just call and ask to pick up following day ... So I was appreciating their work. I have had service done at this location multiple times and regretted every single experience. From new brake pads that cracked after one day, to having my oil pan nut welded back on after an oil change for no reason (forcing me to pay another shop to cut it off), to being straight lied to about getting my tires rotated and aligned, this shop's service is atrocious. The real kicker is that, after having them replace bald tires due to the lack of rotating and aligning my tires properly three separate times, they still failed to align the new tires and also missed putting a lug nut back on one of my new tires! Only after bringing it back one more time did they align the rear tires and let me know the front tie rods needed replacing. I implore anyone reading this to take their car to any other shop that exists before going to this one. read more

let me tell you about my experience at this place a while ago. And suffice it to say, steer clear of the buffoons here, they'll ruin your car. I took my car in for some new tires and an oil change, and one of the people there recommended a transmission fluid and filter change. I thought, sure why not...BIG MISTAKE. Next thing I know, after I get my car back, a week or so later, my car stops shifting into one of the middle gears. What to you think the odds are of a relatively new car, that's never had transmission problems, and then going for a transmission fluid/filter change, then having problems...? I'd say pretty slim. I'm the dummy though for taking it there to begin with. What do you think they said to me when I called up to complain...?...exactly, "we didn't cause the problem..."...naturally. So, in conclusion. OK.. this store must have the largest hot/cold review in the history of Yelp. Seriously, so many 5 and 1 stars with very little in the middle! Ok, in a nutshell, I needed a oil chance and alignment. I made an appointment on line and motored down to the store. I was greeted promptly and enthusiastically and surrendered my key to Kenny and began my wait. While there, I fingered thru Yelp and read the reviews. Oh My! What have I done was my initial thought! Seriously, I was regretting my decision for selecting this location. Fast forward less than an hour from when I walked in and my truck was ready! I've waited over 2 hours in other Firestone stores for the same service package. No "upsales", or the "you might be interested in ___". I was a happy man. Riding down the coast my tire blew out on me so I saw firestone and stopped by to see if repair was needed Shawn checked it out for me and put my spare tire on .I appreciated that for the fact that I couldn't get a repair the same day because my insurance office was closed at the time . So I stopped by today in the afternoon then Charlie and Bryce took over and handled my insurance claim it took a while on the insurance side of it .So I appreciate them handling business for me with excellent customer service and a well ran team . I took my car in for life time alignment. Making an appointment is very easy. Amir was very helpful. The good: open in Sundays, relatively quick service, life time alignment. The bad:my leather seats and door got grease on them from the mechanic; alignment was good but the steering wheel was off center. I had to go back the same day to get that fixed. This was a terrible appointment from the beginning. 1) I was originally told it would take 4 hours for them to replace 2 tires (I got there at 8am and was the only person there, and I had an appointment). When I asked if that was really the case, I was then told it would be 1 hour for them to replace the tires. 2) After 1 hour, I was told they only had 1 tire in stock and now had to go searching another store's inventory for another tire, which would make it be another 1.5-2 hours. Why didn't they know which tires they had in stock before they started taking tires off my car and replacing them? I then had to wait 2 more hours for them to complete the work. 3) 5 minutes after driving away, the "tire pressure low" light came on in my car, forcing me to return to them. They had no idea why this was the case and just said I needed to calibrate the car settings. They couldn't figure out how to do this. They also did not check the tire pressure to make sure it was accurate. 4) That evening, 10 minutes into my drive, the "tire pressure low" light came on once again. I called the store and they basically told me I was wrong and all I had to do was calibrate the settings again, and that the tires were full (but keep in mind they had not checked to see if this was the case). They acted like they were doing me a favor by telling me I could bring my car in the next morning to see whether the tires were full. Wouldn't they HAVE to do this? Why are you doing me a favor when obviously you didn't do the job correctly? 5) I ended up bringing the car to another tire shop, who did have to fill the tires with more air -- they had not been properly filled. I would NEVER recommend this store and will never return. I am extremely unhappy with this level of service and the overall experience. read more

I'm begrudgingly giving Firestone 1 star, but would give zero stars if I could. I called at 8:21am on Tuesday, 1/21, to set up an appointment for a tire rotation and auto inspection for that evening. The employee I spoke with assured me that they'd be able to complete the service that same day, but that I might need to come back if they found any issues. Totally fine by me, since the only issue my car had was 2 nearly flat tires, which would be resolved during the tire rotation. He set my appointment for 5:30pm on Tues, 1/21. I arrived at Firestone at 5:25pm to drop off my car. The receptionist told me they'd need to keep it until 7pm but would try to finish it sooner. Seemed odd because I had made an appointment, but I needed the service so I agreed. I told her I was going to leave and go get a bite to eat, since I hadn't anticipated a 30 to 45-min appointment to take 1.5 hours. She said it would cost about $21 and that she would email or call when my car was ready. I signed papers, left my keys with her, and then walked to a nearby diner and ordered food. Over 30 mins after I left Firestone, I received a call from their receptionist. She informed me that Firestone would NOT be able to complete the service that day and that I'd have to reschedule bc there was only one technician working. I don't understand how or why Firestone would 1) make a same-day appointment towards the end of the work day if only one technician was available, 2) take my car if there was only one technician working and other jobs were being handled, and 3) WAIT OVER THIRTY MINUTES AFTER I LEFT to go eat dinner to tell me my car would not be serviced that day. BY 6pm, NO OTHER CAR SHOP WAS OPEN AND ABLE TO PROVIDE THAT SERVICE. Had they told me at 8:21am when I called to make the appt that it wouldn't be possible to service my car that day, I could have taken it to any of the many, MANY other car shops in the area. Instead, I had to commute 60 miles round trip to my job the next day on two nearly flat tires. After work the next day, I took my car to a family-owned repair shop AND GUESS WHAT. The small, family-owned business serviced my vehicle THAT SAME DAY, with excellent customer service, and charged me NOTHING. That's 100% less than what Firestone charged me, and with 100% more results. To make matters worse, Firestone has been spamming my phone and voicemail the past week, asking me to schedule another appointment with them. If they think I've driven a car with 2 nearly flat tires for the past week bc I've been waiting to take it back to Firestone, then they are DELUSIONAL. I will never, EVER take a vehicle to Firestone and will adamantly recommend others take their business elsewhere, particularly to support mom and pop shops with better customer service and better communication between their office and their service technicians. Firestone's level of incompetence based on my experience is still MIND BOGGLING to me. Tire rotations and vehicle safety inspections are routine services in the scope of their business, and they inexplicably failed so miserably. read more

These guys are really honest and very nice. They always treat me very well, going the extra mile. They never try to scam me & in fact they go way out of their way to help me get things covered by my warranty. Every person I have worked with from this shop is friendly and tries their best to work with my schedule. Michaels great customer service today prompted me to write this, but really everyone is awesome there. Separately my husband has also always had a great experience here. Between the two of us we have been in here probably 10 times for various things and never a bad experience. They are very generous. I'm lucky to have to this neighborhood spot. read more
