Last week FIRESTONE replaced the break pads and rotors, the squeeking has stopped. The vibration has still been a issue so I called Rodlin Toyota and took it right in, they inspected everything and determined the vibration is the rear U Joint. I went into Firestone at 5:30 pm on a Tuesday with a flat tire. I was told by Bryan that "his guys were too tired to look at my car so close before closing". Again, 5:30 pm when they close @ 7 pm. He said it might be a flat or I may need a new tire but either way it wouldn't be done that day. So I went home and returned the next morning to pick up my car to take it somewhere else. When I got there my car was already on the rack and being worked on. Turns out it was the valve stem for my tire that broke and would cost only $20. 00. I paid my bill and promised myself I would never return; which is a shame because of the great location. But any manager should know never to say that "his guys were too tired from doing their job". I brought my car in for an oil change at the Mill Creek location 7/14/2022, they called and said I needed to have my tires rotated and an alignment which it was probably time for. After my car was done I picked it up and left, got back to work and read the receipt. The technician noted that my right inner tie rod has excessive play and my car was UNSAFE to drive. Not one person told me that or called me to tell me that and just let me walk out the door. So I called and was told oh sorry not sure who checked you out so not sure why you were not told this, it will cost $794.00 to fix. I called another reputable mechanic shop and was told Firestone could never properly align my car with the tie rod issue. this other mechanic also said they could repair the tie rod for $373.00!!! I will never go back here again, to not tell someone their car is unsafe to drive is irresponsible and liable. read more

Came in to replace 4 tires with an appointment at 2pm. Dropped off at 1:30. Said it would be done in 2 hours. Took my boys across the street to mcdonalds. Came back at 3:45 and my car is still sitting in the same spot! I'm sitting patiently thinking I should've just went to Costco. Well it's almost 5pm and my car is still in the air and I'm already pissed off. Will never come come back here again!!!! read more

Took my girlfriends car here to do a basic oil change, after 40 minutes of them having the car on the lift they say they can't do the oil change because the previous shop cross threaded the nut into the pan. That was a lie and Firestone had actually broken the whole housing to the nut and had it fall into the oil pan therefor causing a serious leak because only half the housing was there. All in all this has been the worst experience with a shop I have ever had, and I would not trust Firestone to change the caps on my tire valves. They are unreliable and will lie to your face after damaging you car and let you drive off with a catastrophic leak. GOOD RIDDANCE! Don't let these fools anywhere near your car, just hit the part you need serviced with a hammer 100x for the same result. I give my car for 10$ diagnostics twice to fix niose and they pretty much failed. They give very different recommendations and cleraly tried to suggested unneeded service: - based on age of the car we recommend to change this and this - was not it done during regualar service? - we did not check, none of our business Finnaly they claimed the fix for the noise would cost me about 1k. Another service found twisted tubes causing problem and just fixed as a part of regular oil change later on. I have no trust in these guys read more

Had a flat took it in told me they couldn't repair the tire then also told me my tires were damaged and I needed a new set... my car is a 2022 I've owned it a little over a year and my tires are still new, took it to les Schwab they repaired my tire and told me my tires were still good. I'm wondering if anything under 5 stars on here might be a different location haha. I've been going to Firestone Mill Creek since 2018! I've never had anything but exceptional experiences. The honesty is above and beyond. I even had them refuse a repair on one of my vehicles one time, as it would have been a waste of Money, the car was at its end. Michaela and Brian are always so helpful, knowledgeable, and quick!!! They even went as far as getting me to my repaired vehicle in the snow when I didn't have a ride. They are always offering their promos (that I would have otherwise missed on the site) too! This place is as all businesses should be, they treat their customers as customers! Absolute worst customer service ever. I've been going to this location for 3 years now and have had maybe one good experience out of many bad experience. Every-time I go there and spend a bunch of money they treat me like a king but when I come with coupons and free service vouchers they treat me like crap. They're always trying to get me to spend as much money as possible when I don't need to. On my last visit I needed an alignment check, battery check and tire rotation, which were all free since I purchased my tires from Firestone and I also purchased a $300 life-time free alignment check. And even though I made and appointment I sat there for 6 hours for a job that take 15-20 mins tops. I also got nothing but attitude and neglect from the employees whenever I asked a question. I received an email after my visit asking me to write a review about my recent visit, which I did. I explained everything that happened in detail, the good and the bad. I then received a call back from the store manager, Sandi, asking me about what happened and what she could do to make it right. I told her one way to better my experience it by finishing the job in a timely fashion and also treating me the same no matter how much money I spend. I appreciated the call but it felt force and fake. I will never return to this location again. read more

So I make an appoitment for 2:00pm online early in the morning. I called to confirm the app. They confirmed it. I get there 20minutes early. I asked Brian (who was helping me), will I get my truck in at 2:00pm? It's critical I do, that's why I'm asking and made an appointment. if not it's ok I'll reschedule and leave. He looks inside the garage and says "yes absolutly". Oil change only takes 20minutes. It's now 2:55. when I asked what about my 2:00pm app, he now tells me it will take 1 1/2hrs!! Brian didn't even bother to update me. I had to ask.. maybe because he was sitting on his cell phone the entire time. Harvey firestone founder states on the wall right behind their counter "I believe fundamental honesty is the keystone of business". What honesty?! I'm starting to see why it's only 2 1/2 star rating. managed to get me in last minute. disappointed with customer service. the female technician did what she could out in the shop and I am thankful for her. but the girl working the front who is the "service manager" is rude and plays on her phone 95% of the time. My stepson brought his jeep in and they told him it would be , I believe 539. Two major issues, they took longer then they stated however promised him a discount. Upon going to pick up the vehicle the price went up over 200.00 , with no phone call to let my stepson know on the HUGE INCREASE. I dont really go here for tires as it is frequently not reccomended But my experience is something else entirely, upon leaving the parking lot of the QFC turning right onto 164th. My car completely stopped. One of the employees was helping a customer so I didn't bother him. ( I had my hazard lights on and trying to direct cars around me). Nonetheless the employee who was trying to help the customer was done and looked at me as I was waving for help. He walked inside and ignored my plea. I went inside leaving my unlocked car outside to get help. The 2 employees that were inside around 6:40 PM obviously were occupied because I did not get a greeting. I approached them and asked if they could help me push my car out of the way of traffic. One said no because they had to answer a call (I understand) but the other agreed which I was pleased to hear. Nonetheless I wait outside a couple of minutes and finally he shows up. We get my car to a safe location and the person walks off before I could ask him if I could have assistance. He walked off without a word, or slight concern. Regardless. I can see why this place isnt reccomended now as displayed by the employees disapproval of helping someone. read more

Just getting new tires here now. Having a very good experience. I arrived ready to buy four tired but was advised that I really only need two (after some measurements). No upswell at all and the employees are busting ass and working fast. I feel like I'm getting a fair price and that I'm being treated well. So my brakes were going out and I have a buddy with a garage where I do the work, but it's all the way down by Tacoma, so I brought my car in a little under 3 weeks ago to get checked for $10 so I could find out what brake parts I needed to buy so I could change them. I dropped it off around 2 and they said an hour, hour and a half until my car'd be done. Two and a half hours later I had to call them, and they start with "Yeah we're almost done, we've had to jump your car multiple times, and you'll have to jump it so you can leave with it." My battery hadn't caused me problems for months, so I walk down to get my car. I'm told my rotors are absolutely warped, but my brake pads are like new(confusing) so whoever put my old rotors on put cheap ones on(it was a firestone my wife took it to while I was deployed, so funny) and then say I need a new battery, mine will last no more than two days, but don't worry, for $200 they can replace it there. I am still blown away how my battery had no problems until I give it to them, but whatever, they did indeed jump it and I went and picked one up from Walmart for $150. I order brake rotors pads, oil changing stuff, and an air filter for a total of $275 off Autozone, and head to my buddies yesterday to change everything. My car starts every single time I needed it to on the battery they said would last two days every single time, so they clearly just left the lights on and let my car die after 2 hours, and I go to take everything off. With the exception of one, all of my rotors were nowhere near "warped" as they phrased it, and my brake pads they said were "like new" were almost non existent. How the hell they said my brake rotors were warped is beyond me, but I got everything changed anyways, it cost me about $425 dollars total, and they had handed me a quote for $1,440 to do it there. I wouldn't trust this place to tell you honestly what's wrong with your car if it's the last place I have to take it. I replaced parts that weren't even close as bad as they said they were and parts that were really bad that they said were fine, a battery that wasn't dead at all, for $1,000 less than what they wanted for it. Can't help but think they killed my battery and left the brake pads for a later date to get more money. Long story short, go somewhere else for your car. Odds are what they say is wrong isn't, and what's fine is broken, and they'll do it for a outrageous price. read more

Although my problem was a lot larger than I had anticipated, they explained it to me detailed and thoroughly (and were not condescending like I commonly experience as a young woman). Took my car in for what should have been a very standard and simple oil change.. after about 45 minutes of Firestone having my car up they inform me that due to previous work from another shop they could not service my vehicle. They said that the other shop had cross threaded a bolt into the oil pan, and suggested I take it back to that shop to have them fix it. Firestone claimed they did not touch my vehicle yet within 36 hours my reserved parking spot is COVERED in oil that has leaked out of my car after leaving Firestone. Which all just screams suspicious to me. How would they have even known if it was cross-threaded without touching it?? I took my car back to the original shop (an actual mechanics shop) even after discovering the catastrophic leak that Firestone caused... where the mechanics shop informed me that nothing was cross threaded but in fact Firestone had broken the oil pan nut IN HALF, and tried to cover it up, all while allowing me to leave with a horrible oil leak claiming no fault on their end. Bottom line is do NOT go to Firestone. The Walmart of repairs can be found here or you're better off taking a baseball bat to whatever you need fixed and having more luck that way. Beware. read more

Brought a flat Firestone tire to order a new one similar to the flat tire. Was told tire would take two days to get. Left flat there to be recycled and also left rim. When new tire came in was informed. Took the car with spare tire on it to get new Firestone tire changed. Told tire had been changed on right passenger and spare placed in car. Three weeks later same right passenger tire flat again (with wires sticking out of threads/tire). Spare tire put back on to replace flat. Took car and flat tire to Firestone. Firestone manager stated the flat tire was not their tire but the tire on right front was theirs. When new Firestone tire was purchased road hazard insurance was also purchased plus balancing and putting tires on car. Seemed the spare tire was never changed and all three weeks had been using spare tire. Manager says not their problem. The problem was the purchased tire was never installed at Firestone but yet we were charged. The flat tire was a rethreaded tire which caused damage to the inside of the carriage causing noise. Firestone fixed the noise. And because of their not changing the tire no spare tire was available for a later use. Also, firestone was only willing to sell another tire for 15% discount. Because of their negligence this could have been a major accident if the car was major highway driven. read more

On the estimate, they listed each part number, so I know the prices I found are the same exact part. 19B6886 Caliper - $190 (82 at autozone, 75 at walmart) 18B6887 Caliper - $169 (80 at autozone) AD7418B rear ceramic pads - $127 ($62 Napa autoparts) 83630 Air Filter - $60 ( $18 Napa autoparts) are you kidding me? Brake fluid - $20 ($10 literally everywhere) TOTAL $566 vs $252 I didn't even mention the $320 of labor. I will say they were prompt and helpful. The manager took the time to come over and walk me through the total estimate and to see if I had any questions. She mentioned that they price match, but once I looked at how much they overcharged for parts, they must be just assuming people won't look at the identical part down the street at autozone, or amazon, or any even walmart. I brought the car in for unusual noise when braking... One of my rear brake pads had an uneven distribution of pressure and wore unevenly. The other three were completely fine. They wanted to replace both rear rotors, both rear pads, and both rear calipers. After getting a second opinion, I confirmed that it was blown out of proportion. I made an appointment for 4:15 and was told they were a little behind but it should be done within the hour. My car wasn't on the rack until 5pm and wasn't done until 5:45. I called ahead to make an appointment, then promptly dropped my car off at 11 o'clock on Saturday as was my appointment time. What is an appointment for? I wish I knew. I had been told my car would be ready in two and a half hours, when I didn't hear from them in that time, I then called to find out it would be another hour. When I drop the car off I asked for the wipers to be changed, I realize I didn't specify all 3 but I figured they would figure it out, wrong. When I went to go pick my car up an hour later I walked in to find still sitting on the rack. I was told 5 more minutes but knew that wouldn't be true as there were no wheels on the car yet. After sitting in the lobby for at least another half hour I finally got my car back, to then find out that the alignment hadn't been checked yet, because they didn't have time. Again I have to ask what is an appointment for? Today when I brought my car back in to have the alignment checked, of course I found out the alignment was off. I said I didn't have time today to do it but would like to make an appointment to bring it back next week. When I came in to pick up my car I was shocked and how out and out rude to people were, no one spoke to me, not a single word. I said I was going to make an appointment but seems no one asked I'm taking it elsewhere. I realize the thousand dollars I spent the week before may not be a lot to Firestone, but it was a lot to me. Absolutely wonderful staff. First off, I want to give a huge thank you to Matt and Sandi, they completely made our day today. My husband and I have been having every single type of issue with our Nissan Altima and it finally failed on us the other day. The engine was completely fried. We live really close to this Firestone so we had our car towed the night before to their location and they let us hold it there to inspect in the morning. This was super convenient because we didn't want to pay to get the car towed twice. They also have a key drop off which is cool because we didn't have to go back the next day right away. Matt called us to let us know that the engine was done for but ensured us that he was going to call around to see if he could find a cheaper replacement for us. Meanwhile, let us hold our car there while we figured out our options seeing as an engine replacement costs a lot of money. During this time that they had our car in their care, we found a new car. The next day we went back to pay for our inspection and Sandi was kind enough to waive the fee for us. My main point is that they have great people working here. They are honest and they will tell you everything you need to know about your car. They will do the best they can to help you and work with you. I've been to many different auto shops and this by far has been my favorite. They are very customer service oriented and willing to help you with everything. They even let us keep our Nissan there while we figure out someone to come pick it up. I completely appreciate the team here. My brakes "went out" saturday evening in a smoky, stinky mess and I drove around with faulty brakes like a panicked spaz trying to find some place to help. Most places couldn't help but I was told to try Firestone the next day (since they're the only ones open on Sunday!), so I did. I got there first thing and they spent two hours to tell me that they couldn't help until they got parts in but that it would cost $800 because all sorts of pieces of my car were ruined. I shouldn't be driving, they said. I told them I would take my chances, and I drove home. On a recommendation from a coworker I tried Brakes for Less in Lynnwood first thing Monday morning. They got me in IMMEDIATELy and I was out in less then 40 minutes. GUESS WHAT! There was nothing wrong with the car! It was just user error! Since my friend had been driving my sleepy ass home, he'd just not put the parking brake 100% off and it had overheated. Since there was no permanent damage, NOTHING had to be done! NOTHING was gonna cost me $800?! Either Firestone is INCOMPETENT or they're staffed with liars, but I'm never going there again. I don't think you should either. read more

I had been going here for years up until two negative experiences with the new female manager which led to me taking me routine car maintenance business elsewhere. The first issue pertained to this woman no longer honoring lifetime alignment warranty on the vehicle my family had been having serviced by Firestone for over 10 years. Last I checked, "lifetime" meant for the lifetime of the vehicle in question, regardless of who was bringing the car in for service. The second occurred when she made an executive decision without consulting me to opt into the most expensive service options when I brought my vehicle in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. I wasn't born yesterday, oil is oil, and the $25 price difference between the conventional oil change I desired and the high mileage oil she opted me into did not go unnoticed when I was picking up my car. It sounds like from the below reviews that this woman's approach is flagrant and habitual: bleed as much money from her customers as possible through dishonest behaviors such as upselling, lying about nature of repairs, giving incomplete information, and applying unnecessary pressure of staff and customers. I'd be curious to know what motivates this woman has to act in this manner, perhaps there's financial incentive from Firestone HQ for her to provide the lowest possible value in parts and service while extracting the highest possible revenue from customers? It's frustrating as a customer to have to play defense in every single routine errand and transaction to ensure no one is upselling you or trying to pick your pocket with misleading products or services. I take my car into places like Firestone purely for convenience... car maintenance isn't rocket science and if I had the time, I would do my own routine maintenance. But like most people, I've outsourced the labor to service providers like Firestone so I can spend my limited time doing other things. I've since been taking my car in for routine maintenance elsewhere and haven't regretted it. If Firestone makes a sound business decision and brings in a manager who actually cares about providing honest, quality, and knowledgeable customer service, I might consider giving Firestone another chance. read more

I have been taking my cars here for awhile now. I don't spend a lot it's normally just an oil change and some routine maintenance. And prices are reasonable. But recently I took my older van in as I was taking it camping so a fairly long drive. Was told everything looked great. That was two weeks ago. I have driven it maybe 2 times since then it's a spare car and I only drive it to run it sometimes. Anyhow I decided to check the fluids since we were leaving soon and my radiator reservoir was totally empty it and my windshield fluid. Checked my daughters car that I took in last week no windshield fluid. I was so disappointed. Checking and topping off fluids has always been standard. And if my radiator was empty they didn't check so didn't get a chance to see if there were leaks or something for me to address. I called them they said they always check the fluids maybe in the past 2 weeks for my van something happened. Poor excuse I didn't even bring it back to have them check. I'll just be going elsewhere from now on. If I can't even count on them checking simple windshield fluid how can I trust them. I'm pretty sure my tires are low too. I would have driven my van with no coolant and not even known until it overheated or something while I'm out in the middle of no where. read more

My tire blew out on the side of I5 and I had to put the donut on, it's Memorial Day and I'm on my way to a hiking trip with friends and family, we were coming from further south so we were super unfamiliar with the area we checked SIX TIRE SHOPS. All closed or unable to help, Luckily this firestone was open. Not only open but Bryan the technician helping us was so kind and with all the COVID going on these days most people aren't so friendly, he got me in and out in UNDER AN HOUR and now we are on our way to our adventure. I have been trying to get my AC fixed since August of 2021 at the Mill Creek, WA shop. I came in as a walk in and they had some time to look at it and was seen pretty quickly but after over ninety minutes I was told they don't have the part and will order it. It was a passenger side relay switch and was quoted a bit over $260. Sounded good so I made my appointment. Waited for over two hours at my appointment time (car wasn't even pulled in but I was patient) and I asked how much longer until they start. After some research he told me there is a couple of things. One, is the quote has changed to over $550. The other is that we don't have the part yet. I asked if they were getting it that day, because I was willing to wait and he said no. I asked if the person who made the original quote could work with me to split the difference and could he give me a call. Apparently, it was the manager that misquoted and the other man said he doesn't know why he would have given me such a low quote. The man never called back. I called last month and asked if he could give me the exact name of the part and I'll have another Firestone order it and go there because it seems you are too busy here. I just called yesterday, 3/27/22 to ask again what the name of the part is. He said you'll have to call back tomorrow and talk to Jack because he's the one who's been working on it. I looked at the Google reviews and I am going elsewhere. I guess the Mill Creek Firestone is a training shop. Please read reviews before you go there. I read some pretty ugly ones. read more

Came here to have them mount some tires I had previously on another set of rims and at first the front desk guy was cool about it and had me bring out the rims and tires and then the female manager came out looked at them and then refused to mount them for me, then went to discount tire down the block and didn't understand why she refused.
