I went here 2 weeks ago for a squeaking car. They gave me a list of a few things far that needed to be done. I called them and said I only wanted 1 thing. I come back to get me car and they did things I said I didn't want and when I asked them to take the things out I didn't want he said "well it's too late". I took it for a tuneup cause of a sudden emergency less than 48 hrs later brakes fail in the general vicinity they was working on. The rep Adam had the audacity to offer discount to other customers then deny me and try to charge me for services they do complementary. After all of that less than 24 hours later, my back right tire fails literally comes off the tire. They sabotage my vehicle to have an accident but not cause a major accident. This place was amazing!!! They did not give up on finding the part I needed for my Volkswagon. The sales manager, Adam ended up driving 45 minutes to pick up the part himself. They were honest from start to finish about different possibilities. Dakota was super friendly, and after sitting in the waiting area all day, I got to witness a very organized ran business, a team who seemed like they wanted to be there, and in the end, my car is fixed and I can continue my road trip! They just need to disclaim more and set realistic expectations. Feels that they don't mind wasting peoples time. They honestly just need to figure out a better scheduling system. Our car had power steering issues, we brought it in on a Tuesday. On Thursday I called to get an update as I have not heard from them since bringing my car in. They said they replaced the pump and still the issue was continuing. They had my car for a week with no updates on anything! If I wanted to know the status I had to call. Zero communication and zero customer service, this location needs help in learning how to treat its customers. Dude on the phone named Adam said i would have to leave my car there all day, which seemed odd for such a small task, but i needed it done today so i took my car in. When i got there the guy at the front counter, who was the adam i spoke to, said they had all booked up in the time we spoke. i live six minutes away from this place. So, i went down the street to pep boys. Not only was the guy at pep boys working alone, but he got my headlight fixed in like two minutes and taught me how to do it next time it happens, all i had to do was go buy the bulb at o'reilys. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS FIRESTONE. they clearly have no time management skills if they can't fit in something that literally took two minutes to do. and firestone will be rude to you about it. adam acted like i was asking for the world and totally inconveniencing them for asking if they can fix my headlight. i personally will NEVER give this place my money and urge others not to either. pep boys got it done fast and cheap AND i walked away with a new skill. firestone could NEVER offer that kind of customer service. read more

My husband was having surgery and after dropping him off (had to wait in parking lot due to COVID regulations), I tried to start my car and the battery went out. The security guard for the hospital was able to give me a jump so I could go get my battery replaced. I went to Firestone at 5808 Charlotte Pike and they helped me right away considering they had to have other customers with appointments and such. William was amazing and assured me they could take care of me. Usually my husband deals with this sort of stuff so I was nervous about even finding it. I waited outside so I wouldn't take up space indoors knowing it's difficult during COVID. I was lucky enough they got to it pretty fast and was out the door back on track to the hotel. So I scheduled an appt (for the second time) well in advance of the day requested and specifically put in the notes that the last firestone that aligned my vehicle messed up with the camber eccentrics and it ruined two tires. Well, they never confirmed (3 days later I called to inquire) and was told I could drop it off that same day and they'd fit it in. Col. I'll be right down. Reiterated when dropping it off that camber eccentrics were in place and the last adjustments were done incorrectly (they actually made it worse) and was assured it would get fixed up. Well, an hour after I dropped it off, was told my vehicle was on the rack and informed me I needed a new tire. Sure... see original drop off complaint, ya? Two and a half hours later, no word.. getting late, called THEM to ask on status. "Oh, yeah you're ready to go". Ok. So I get a ride back over, and am told "they couldn't adjust some things, you're going to need to replace parts to get that measurement correct". And when I'm looking at it, I see that they made ZERO camber adjustments to either side. So, you literally did 1/2 your job and then try to sell me parts that you were already told it has installed and need adjusted? Seriously? This is what gives mechanics a bad name read more

You guys WONT BELIEVE THIS!! I ordered tires from the Nashville west location and had issues with having them put my tires on. They wanted to keep the car for days for tire instillation so I called the 5808 location to see if it was possible to get my tires transferred there and put on at a more reasonably time due to the Nashville west location taking their time. I was told that I could bring my car in at 7:00am( appointment set) to have my tire put on. Upon arrival the next day at 7:00am I was met with a guy behind the counter looking me up and down. I informed the guy that I had an appointment and explained the prior phone call and situation at the previous location. The (Caucasian)man at the counter continued to look at me strange. I asked the man at the counter " is there a problem ? I asked in a even tone again " is there a problem? Due to the guy giving me attitude for no apparent reason. The guy at the counter then said " we're going to need your car for the whole day" with a smirk on his face. I then asked the guy are you treating me like this because I'm black? In Nashville this is common. The man at the counter then proceeded to ignore me and took another customers request that walked in after me and told him (Caucasian man) that we will get you in right away. To my disbelief I called the FRANKLIN PIKE Firestone and told them what was going on. The guy at the Franklin location called the store to have the tires moved to the Franklin location to service the vehicle to try to fix the situation. While the franking employee was on the phone with the 5808 man at the counter the man at the counter put the phone on speaker phone so I and the other customer in the store could hear their conversation regarding my situation which was completely UNPROFESSIONAL by the guy at the counter at the 5808 locations. I then talked to the employee at the 5808 location and informed him of what I witnessed with their call being on speakerphone that he didn't know was on speakerphone. I then left to go to the Franklin PIKE location where I was treated like a valued customer. Living in the south has its challenges but I never thought I would deal with racism at an auto repair place (5808 charlotte Pike) when I'm doing nothing but trying have my car serviced. The Franklin location handled the situation professionally. I will NEVER go back to the 5808 location or the Nashville West location. read more

Zoe is amazing! So helpful. I was feeling stressed out because my tire pressure light kept coming on after I would continually put air in them. She took the time to come out and look at each of my tires and was so sweet the whole time. Any questions I had, she was on it! Everyone there was great. I scheduled an appointment to get my tire repaired or replaced due to a road hazard and they were great and communicative. They were running a little behind, but were super apologetic and great to work with. I would highly recommend and will be back again if my car requires it. Every time I have had my car serviced here, I had a morning appointment and arrived prior to my appointment (only getting an oil change and tire rotation). I advised them that I needed my car by 5pm, every time. 5pm rolls around and they have not even started on my car. Then they lie to me over the phone when I call them at 5pm to find out if my car is ready and tell me that they are working on it but cannot give me an estimated time of completion. Here I sit at 6:40pm and my car is still in the parking lot. They have not even touched it. This has happened at least 6 times over the past few years. A friend of mine was driving out of town for the weekend and was overdue for an oil change and tire rotation, so she wanted to get those done before the trip. The local Subaru dealership quoted her $150, so I asked her to wait while I checked around. I called this Firestone location, and they said they could do a full synthetic oil change, plus a multipoint inspection that included a tire rotation, all for about half the cost at the dealership. They didn't have any appointments left for the day, but they said they would work it in for us anyway. We dropped it off, and a couple of hours it was done. Very easy, professional, and reasonably priced. It was a great experience overall. read more

Be prepared to wait for hours for simple car maintenance even with an appointment. They told me I would be taken next as there were no appointments in front of me but it still took them over an hour to just get my car in. I only was getting a tire rotation and simple inspection done. When asked how much longer it would be I was met with a rude reaction of they will get to it as soon as they can. While sitting in the waiting area I overheard multiple phone calls where the receptionist was rude, slamming to phone down and complaining about the questions being asked. When I asked what the point of an appointment was he told me well if you didn't have one you would be behind the 13 other cars who are here, i was not given an option of coming in without an appointment so not sure what that's supposed to mean. I was the only one in the waiting area after 30 minutes of waiting, everyone else was checked out and done so no clue what the hold up was. When I checked in for the 4th time after multiple cars had left the garage and over an hour of waiting, I was told the technicians were now on lunch. If I knew it was going to be this long, I would have gotten a ride home to get things done but I was told I was "next". Very frustrating experience and recommend not using Firestone or atleast this location for your car maintainable needs. read more

I needed a headlight change and everywhere else said I need to remove a bumper but I took it here and they didn't have to! Took a little bit but it was fixed and costed about $40. They didn't mind that I had my own headlight that I already brought in. They also did a courtesy check and noticed my tires were very low on tread but when I said I couldn't afford it they didn't pressure me, so I'll definitely be back! Took my Tacoma in for a routine oil change and alignment; also asked to have brakes checked. I was told my front rotors were shot, not wanting to drive with bad brakes I agreed to let them service the vehicle. Not sure what they did for $700, but my brakes are worse than when I brought it in and my truck rides like it has tires that are 4 different sizes on it. Will be taking her back to the Firestone in Smyrna to see if they can undo the damage this location has caused. After mentioning this at work, I had no less then 3 people tell me "Oh no, you took it THERE?" Apparently, this location has a reputation for shady dealings and shoddy workmanship. I researched tires on many websites and different locations and knew what I wanted and how much I wanted to pay; Randall met that price. My install took less than 4 hours for 4 news tires. As I sit here after 2pm, and arrived at noon, I was very clear but understanding, I was called away for an "emergency" unplanned trip, and had an appointment at 2 PM. They guaranteed that my car would be ready before my 1:40 quotes time as the latest it would be ready. Now that it is on the lift, they won't take it down without charging me, but haven't done anything. The excuse was "the guy who told you it would be ready doesn't work here and was helping out. So the guy next to him who heard everything didn't bother saying a word. Now these incompetent jack offs don't have my oil filter, so it sits up on the jack with the oil now drained, and me losing my doctors appointment for the yellow fever shot that I'm hoping to not get since I will no longer be able to get my immunizations for a multi country dream trip which I know will have to change. Although this has happened a couple months ago, I still feel like I need to post their sub standard (even for the shady profession of car repair). Go anywhere else, they probably aren't good, but hopefully won't laugh after they lie to you. read more

UPDATE 9/18/2015 (changed from 1 to 4 stars): Firestone diligently followed up with me after my earlier review, and the store manager called me directly. He offered to do whatever necessary to correct the situation, and ended up offering me a refund for the price difference. Recently, I needed an additional tire for another car, so I used that refund as a credit towards that purchase. Even though the initial visit was disappointing, Firestone (& Randall, the excellent store manager) put the customer first and did an excellent job of providing true customer service. I'll definitely be back! ORIGINAL (1-star) REVIEW: I chose Firestone after looking at all price options available in my area. Firestone website showed a suitable Primewell tire for 49.29 each, and the tire showed to be in stock at the particular location I chose. I even received an appointment confirmation email the next morning. I showed up, and was told (after showing printed quote to agent) that "this article number doesn't even show up in our system. We do have something comparable in a Primewell, and I'll do the same price for you". Then someone else (manager?) walks out, the first person explains what is going on, and then he (second person) says "yeah, we don't have this one. I can order it for you". I explain that I am going on a long driving trip the next day, and don't have time to wait for an order. I ask HIM about the price match, and he says "no, I can't match that price". So I'm basically stuck at this point, so I end up having to pay $12-13 per tire MORE to get it done. I would have NEVER chosen Firestone if my best price option was a $62 tire -- I had already found several other deals better than that at other places. Lesson learned -- no more Firestone bait & switch tricks for me. Staff was very friendly and helpful but like every Firestone I have ever been to, they try and sell you more than you need and rip you off on prices. I have been going to firestone for the last two years to get my brakes fixed. I have to go back to get new rotors or pads about every 6 months. Finally, at this particular Firestone the guy said that was not normal and dug a little deeper. Ended up I needed new hoses, calipers, rotors, pads, fuel injector (which they talked me into getting). A week later, my car was making yet another very loud humming noise. Turns out I need a new wheel bearing. I brought my car back in, they quoted me $370. I turned it down and asked why they didn't catch that last week. They responded with "we weren't looking for that". After I said I would come get my car they called back 5 minutes later and offered 10% off. Like $30 is going to do anything after I spent $1k last week on top of the $370 they quoted. I got another quote from a mechanic to change my wheel bearing for half the price. read more
