I dropped my Jeep off this morning to have it looked at because I am leaking anti-freeze. A couple hours later I get a call back from the service manager quoting me $1,400 in repairs...new radiator, new hoses, new water pump, and a coolant flush. Prices are outrageous, I still don't understand why I need a $90 coolant flush with a new radiator, hoses, and water pump but OK whatever....I picked up my truck and got another estimate from a very reputable repair service and it was half the price. I will update this review once I find out if all those repairs were actually needed. Also, the shop manager tried to scare me saying I shouldn't even pull the vehicle off the lot...little did he know i've had this leak for weeks and have stayed on top of keeping the radiator filled... They are known for taking advantage of women and I didn't learn this info until one of my coworkers told me about her experience there. WOMEN BEWARE.... read more

If you're a woman, expect to be lied to and taken advantage of here. I brought my car in to get a tire patch. After waiting for an hour, they told me the tread was too low to be patched. Having grown up with family in the car service industry, I was well aware of the wear level of my tires and knew it was nowhere near time for new tires. I heard them basically convince another woman in the waiting room she needed a whole new set of tires and she very hesitantly went along with it - which is probably why they get away with this behavior. I then went to Main Street Tire who not only patched my tire, they did it in 5 minutes at a fraction of the cost. $15 vs Firestone's $46. Seriously y'all, do not even waste your time with Firestone. They lied to me. I had a flat tire and took my car there. After buying four new tires new brakes new brake fluid for a total of $1400 I returned to pick up my car. They said that they could not put my spare back under my car because a part was missing. I asked what part and they said the part that holds the tire up.I believed them and rode around with my spare in the back of my car for a while. I then looked it up online and found there was no part missing so I put the spare back on myself. I got a flat on Tuesday evening, after Firestone was closed. So I got an online quote that was supposed to be valid for 30 days ($147.99) and scheduled an appointment for 2pm the next day. I arrived at 2pm and was given a statement of work for $390. I refused to sign it and the price magically dropped to $300. Still way too much but I'm not keen on driving on a spare and just needed to have it taken care of (which, clearly, these employees are very aware of). All of my 65k-mile warranty tires (that currently have 20k miles on them) were purchased at Firestone so I was confused when the man told me they replace all of their own tires for free if they're under warranty. When I asked him why I was paying for my replacement tire, he had no response. At this point, I've been sitting here for two hours now and am out $300 that I apparently shouldn't have to pay. Naturally when I walk into an auto service center, I have my guard up. I don't want to pay $700 because some jerk tells me there are unicorns pooing in my filters. Luckily, my worries and stresses were eased. This auto service center is straight up. They honored my recently expired oil change coupon, and they were quick and friendly. Not to say that they sat there and told me my nail polish was pretty and asked me who I want to win American Idol, but they were honest and understanding that my time was of the essence and so was my sanity (i.e. getting my car back quickly). They also gave me wholesale price for two tires, and offered to match any other price on the tires that I could find (they were the best price). Not bad! I do all my car's maintenance here. The service staff is friendly, and I don't feel ripped off. They stick pretty close to manufacturer's maintenance unless a problem is presented. The pricing is upfront and communicated well. They do get busy fast, so its best to book an appointment and pad time. read more

Ok so I took my vehicle here for a front end alignment and was told that I needed $2500 in repairs. I have a Lexus Rx350 so I know repairs are not cheap but this was crazy! Then they told me that they couldn't do it and that it would be hard for anyone to do it. So, I told them that I would take it to the Lexus dealership and have them do it. One of the guys said that Lexus would have a hard time as well. Ha! he was wrong.. I am so glad that I took it to Lexus because they not only repaired my front end alignment, but it only cost me $79. My advice to them would be, to be honest with their customers. If you don't have the proper tools just say that instead of trying to get extra money out of your customers. read more

Plain and simple, this is a corporate chain car service place. I wasn't expecting leaps and bounds in speed of service, and great prices. Just needed new tires, had already had road hazard from the company on a couple of tires, and was quoted for it to take 3 hours. Okay, I get it; it's a busy day, and I just barely found a parking spot. A friend of mine was getting an alignment and was quoted longer than I was, so we go and hang out. He gets his car back 2 hours early, and I'm getting my car back 2 hours late. Still here waiting on the fact that the computer system said 6 tires that I needed were in stock, but they didn't have the tires at all, and had to have it shipped in. I complained, and got a card for a free oil change next time, but I will be looking for a local business that can better satisfy the customer service end of a business. I rather have a discount on my service. This is more so in the perspective that I understand the people doing the service are people too. Being in the service industry, I get it, but this is a review directly to the company. This location is no where near as good as the one 2-3 miles away in East Nashville. read more

We were in from out of town and arrived with a spare. The guys here took care of us and gave us a wait time of at least an hour. Within 40 minutes we were pulling out of the parking lot after changing in their restrooms. they showed us our tire that the uh were unable to patch for us which I thought was a nice touch you don't often get and leave wondering. I called Firestone (I have never been a customer) and Robert answered and said he could take me right away. when I told him my saga, he told me to stay there and wait and not go home. These guys are terrible - I've given them way to many opportunities and they fail every time. They forgot to top off fluids and create false problems that have been proven untrue when evaluated by multiple other mechanic shop. I came in to have a screw removed from my tire and to have it patched. I have after-market wheels that need a thin walled socket to get off, which I have and keep in the car. I was asked to come back into the bay because they couldn't get my wheel off. The technician got agitated with me when I told him the socket I had would get the lug nuts off and he kept quickly putting the socket to the nuts and saying, "this clearly doesn't fit". He told me that my wheels were universal and not made for my model (??). I was also told that another option would be to just buy a whole new tire instead of just having the screw taken out of my tire. I went to another tire place the next day and they were able to get the lug nuts off with the socket that I keep in my car. For Firestone to historically be a tire company, I was amazed at how poorly they handled such a simple situation. read more

I found a screw stuck in my tire and stopped in to have it patched. They got my truck in immediately and found that the screw hadn't punctured through the tire, so it didn't require any repairs. They had me in and out in 15 minutes with no charge. I am incredibly grateful -- some mechanics I've worked with in the past would've found a reason to charge me for something. read more

We had evacuated to Nashville to escape South Florida from Hurricane Irma and we were in need of an oil change , a tire rotation and we had low tire pressure. We explained to them we were eager to get in and out because of our lobby journey home . They got us in right away , completed all services and checked all off our tires and even suggested a nice breakfast spot where we could have breakfast while our car was getting fixed . I made it in to their shop after 4pm on a Thursday and was able to be back on the road in 2 hours. The lack of customer service I experienced today was infuriating. I went to firestone at 7:40 to pick up my car. After waiting on the hot sidewalk for 15 minutes because the hours on google are incorrect, I saw a man who pulling cars out of the garage and asked him if he saw my VW in there. He blew me off. At 8:00 they finally let us in the building. We formed a line and waited while the employee took phone calls. Once I got up to the desk, the employee had me wait so they could talk to the person on the phone, and then after that call they took the ten seconds that it takes to ask someone in the back to bring the VW around. read more

I stopped in and picked up four new tires. The agent helped me find four "high grade" tires that were on sale. The sale made the tires only $15 more than the "low grade" tires. At less than $4 a tire...why not! They also changed out my oil while they had the vehicle for a $20 bill. Not bad! When I returned to pick up the vehicle, they had to be reminded a few things...so I had to wait longer. Well, I had to return a week later to have a couple of other little things that they forgot the first time...a short wait, again. Oh, well. I do think the shop wants to up-sell, but they also are prepared to take "no" for an answer. I saved all the notes regarding recommended services and plan to go back when I can afford the expense. read more

I really don't like giving out bad reviews but I have multiple bad experiences with Firestone at multiple locations. I had a starter go out on one of my vehicles and they charged me almost $600 to have it changed out at the Bellevue location. Part of the charge was a dialogistic test to find what was wrong with the vehicle that they told me was optional on the phone since I knew what was wrong with the vehicle already but they ran it and charged me anyways. The next time I had to use Firestone they replaced a headlight for me and it went out again before I was able to get the car back home a quarter mile up the road. I grew up in a small town full of shade tree mechanics but I'd much rather trust my vehicle to a local mom and pops place that will give me a honest estimate and not overcharge for services not needed. read more

This was the only location that tried to upsell me brake fluid service, fuel system service and coolant flush without any real reason to do so. FYI, fuel system service is one of their most profitable services where they charge you 100 bucks to pour some 10 dollar off the shelf Seafoam down your intake. WARNING to all customers, but especially females - be prepared for these employees to tell you that you need unnecessary work done on your car! As a female, it pains me to say that I have had similar experiences at various car places. The employees assume that I know nothing about cars, simply because I'm a woman. This location is no different. Made an appt to get my oil changed at this Firestone location on a Friday afternoon. Dropped my car off and a friend and I went to lunch. About 20 minutes later, my phone rang and it's Firestone telling me that my "tires look really worn" and would need to be replaced. Gee, that's funny, because I just had FOUR NEW TIRES put on my car two weeks before this. The employee proceeds to tell me that all four tires look worn and that I need new ones. He asks if I've gone on any "major trips" since my tires were put on. Well, you know, that must have been all those trips back and forth to Canada to put all those THOUSANDS of miles on my new tires in two weeks. These tires MAYBE have 200 miles on them. Then the employee tried to tell me that my alignment needed to be fixed, even though that was ALSO taken care of when I got new tires two weeks ago. When it became clear I was not going to be spending $400+ on new tires, the employee tried to upsell me various fluid and other service replacements. I drove up twice to do a walk in, but couldn't even find enough of a make shift spot to check the wait time all while there was only one visible technician working on vehicles. Set an appointment, waited an hour and checked on the quote finding out they were looking at the incorrect vehicle due to not checking the plates, waited another one and still no one had looked at the issue. Two hours later got quoted double & triple the other places I had checked. Not worth making an appointment and definitely not service worth waiting for. read more

Horrible customer service. Had tires delivered via Tire Rack for installation. Scheduled appointment three days before at 4PM on a Wednesday. Dropped off promptly and told it would be a 90 minute job. Stopped back two hours later and told it would be no sooner than 7PM. I have visited this Firestone 3 or 4 times in the past 2 years and every time the staff is extremely helpful. I always purchase tires here and have a running account with the company. Anyone working with me has always thanked me for my customer loyalty and has been informative about any work needing to be done. The store manager, Mitch, is also extremely friendly and accommodating. On my last trip to have two tires replaced, he asked everyone in the waiting room if they were doing okay, if they had been waiting too long, and even offered to buy anyone a soda if they wanted. I definitely recommend this particular location to anyone and will continue to bring them my business. read more

I made an appointment online for a Tuesday afternoon. I got there a bit early and they helped me right away. I brought my car in because my brake light went out. They were courteous and told me how long I could expect it to take since I was waiting there. They were finished in about 25 minutes and it was a reasonable price. They didn't try to tell me anything else needed "work" and explained what had been fixed. As a female, I am sometimes apprehensive to go get my car fixed but this was a great experience. read more

For the past few weeks, I have had some trouble with my tires losing pressure. I went by Firestone a few times to get air in them and decided to schedule an appointment to figure out what was going on. After I dropped off my car, I get a call about an hour later stating my tire had a hole in it that was not patchable and I needed a new tire. He then proceeds to tell me they could get the tire in today and it would be $280 for it but they will give me a deal for $250. I told them not to do it and that I wanted to take my car to Discount Tire to get it checked out since my tires were under warranty. I dropped off my car at Discount Tire, they called me 45 minutes after saying there was NO actual hole but they fixed the underlying issue with no cost. I was unaware they take advantage of females prior to my experience with them. Ladies, be careful and always get a second quote! This place will cheat you out of your money in a heartbeat! read more

A few weeks ago I went into Firestone with an appointment to get my air fixed and an axle replaced. I arrived at said appointment time and said they could not fit me in until later so I left my car there and never heard anything until I had to call them the next day and they hadn't even started working on my car, gave me suggestions, and I told them to do the original plan. I had to call them back because they didn't tell me it was ready then told me the air was fixed but couldn't replace the axle without replacing other items for a large sum of money. I declined that offer and just paid for the air to be fixed and a few weeks later my air is out again. I had a terrible experience with timeliness, communication, and high rates at this location. read more
