Second time I went for another suv and this time I knew how to buy tire so checked price few places before buy and I can't believe same Firestone company tire I got almost 130$ Cheaper price at town fair tires which store is 2block away and I spoke to Firestone manager that this is the price I'm getting for your own company tire and his response was there is nothing much I can do and he it self recommended that if you getting that price you should do it there.. While traveling from Providence, RI to Vermont we noticed our front wheel bearing was in bad shape. we pulled off and got a motel room for the night , and was towed to Firestone. More than just a wheel bearing, they noticed the upper ball joint and sway bar linkage needed to be replaced. They also did an alignment. Yes, this was an expensive fix, but not any more expensive than it would have been had we made it home. They were able to complete the repairs that day by 7pm. We noticed what sounded like squeaking coming the wheel that had been worked on and since we were in the area a week later, we stopped by to have it looked at. The mechanic who did the original work stayed late and fixed it. it was a caliper bracket that needed adjustment. NO CHARGE. read more

Replaced two tires in my car incorrectly! After a brisk 4-hour wait, they placed WRONG balancing weights, which ended up scratching against the disks, resulting in the noise of scratching metal and shiny powder. Dec 27th.. Brought the car in - refused to fix. Told me I had to learn to tolerate the metal scratching noise (Dec 27)!! I went to another shop where the issue was thankfully identified. Jan 4th... went back to Firestone - they asked for my assistance in placing the weights!! When they finally figured it out, told me that my car uses "wrong weights". Called complaints hotline. They offered me a solution: looked up a different Firestone location online and told me that chance are that the manager there is more cooperative! read more

If i could give this place negative 10 stars i would. Avoid at all cost! Waited for over 2 hours (how long they told me my car would take to change over to snow tires), and they hadnt even started my car. The "manager" said he just noticed no one working on my car and said he'd get someone on it, but it would take 2 hours (the money pit "2 weeks" anyone"). I asked who was in charge of the workers in the back and he said he was. I asked what he was doing for 2 hours because he wasnt doing his job making sure things got done. He said taking to a tech. I am a senior citizen with some health issues. I was very anxious about going to any Auto Repair facility. I had a four inch screw in one of my tires so I had no choice. Andre, Manager in Natick, was very kind after I told him my issues and did not want to sit in their waiting room for hours. He made sure that I was taken on time and finished in a very timely manner. Andre was very respectful and I was treated with respect and dignity. All my tires have been purchased at Firestone, and I have always had a positive experience. We were driving home to NJ on a Sunday morning when our low tire pressure light came on. This was the only store open. After being told by the store manager that we would have to wait 3 hours, JD, the shop manager saw me trying to fix it myself. He pulled a guy and got us fixed and back on the road right away. I was appalled at the service I received here. I usually don't make complaints but I feel like people should be aware. I went to Firestone yesterday to inquire about getting a slow leaking tire fixed. It was too late in the day to have it fixed but i had to be somewhere. I asked an employee named Jay if I could use fix-a-flat without having to replace my entire tire. He said it was fine but to alert the mechanics or else it'll make a mess when they plug the tire. When I returned today a new mechanic said it was impossible to plug the tire because I used fix-a-flat! I explained my previous conversation and they just shrugged. I asked a handful of friends about the situation and they all seemed to know you can't fix a tire after using those kinds of products. So why didn't Firestone just tell me the truth?! I had to pay over 200 to get my car fixed because the mechanic gave me bad advice. Firestone clearly has untruthful mechanics and i don't recommend this company. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I came in for a tire patch last Sunday. I will not be back. They told me could be plugged and would take 30-45 mins. This was 11:20am. I took a long lunch, expecting a call any minute. At 2:15pm (3 hours later) I call to check on the status. He tells they have not gotten to my car so it would be another 20-30 minutes then tells me to "keep shopping". I was mildly annoyed by the questionably sexist assumption but choose to let it go in case I was being oversensitive. I show up at 2:45 (nearly 3.5 hours after drop-off and 3 hours overdue) and the same associate waved me off and became avoidant for the next 25 minutes. All the while I can see my car in the garage not being worked on. Over the next hour I was continually told I was "next" but saw no movement. When work began around 3:45, I overhead the mechanic who removed my tire tell the manager that he needed a new tire. I asked the manager if he was talking about my car. He said no. Then I see a new tire going on my car. I track down the associate who informs me that because the nail is between the treads the damage is irreparable and I need a new tire. This was at 4pm, nearly 5 HOURS later. I remind them of my replacement warranty with Town Fair (Town Fair isn't open on Sundays) and that I would not have waited if I hadn't been told it was a patch job. I add that I was upset they began work without authorization as to the change in service. No response. Had I not caught them before, they would've simply charged me for a new tire at checkout. I went to Town Fair and they patched the same "irreparable" tire in 15 minutes for $4. I understand being shortstaffed and behind schedule but nothing excuses consistent poor communication and charging for UNNECESSARY work. It was an enormous inconvenience and a near costly mistake. Save yourself the hassle and trust these negative reviews, I wish I had. Note: I signed up for Yelp to write this review. I read another review that sayinglocation took advantage of the reviewer as a woman and I strongly agree. Once they realized I was not as naive as they judged me to be as a young female, they offered me a discount on the new tire. I think they must've known a competitor would catch this egregious error (tactic?) and were trying to keep business at that point. TL;DR: At best, they don't know what they're talking about. They charged me $120.00 to defrost my wind shield washer fluid in order to inspect that my wind shield wipers were in good working order. Just say NO! I brought my car to these guys for a simple state inspection. I dropped it off at 8am, they said it would be done in an hour or so. I said I could come get it at noon and they assured me it would be done and would call me. I called at 11:30 since I hadn't heard from them. They said it was just going in now and would be done in 20 minutes. I got there at noon and was told it would be another 30 minutes. I walked to get lunch and at 12:15 got a call saying that I would fail my state inspection unless they replaced two tires and the front axle. I had recently gotten an alignment and two tires, so I knew they were wrong. I told them to fail the inspection. When I got to the shop, the inspection report only indicated the tire issue (no mention of the needed axle). I filed a complaint with the state and they quickly came out and inspected my car. Their inspector agreed that my tires were fine. A few of my co-workers have had similar problems with this garage telling them that they needed to replace parts that were in perfectly good condition. holy potholes! i used to drive route 9 for my daily commute, and having only driven in so-cal before that, i was not adept at maneuvering potholes and constructions sites. needless to say, after only a month or two of driving in mass, i needed new tires. there was a huge bubble on the sidewall and my bf was freaking me out telling me my tire would explode if i kept driving on it. i called this firestone location while i was at work having no knowledge of anything car related, the guy quickly transferred me to a more patient female operator who was very helpful. she helped me find an affordable tire and set an appointment for me. she also didn't try to sell me any extra tires or services. in fact, i opted to change both front tires but she said it wasn't really necessary. i brought my car in, signed the papers and took a seat. in the waiting area, i noticed an extra charge on my invoice and went back to the counter to bitch (i have a chip on my shoulder when it comes to potential rip off situations). i was told it was a guarantee/warranty, and while i didn't appreciate the extra charge without notification, it was a minimal and seemed like a good idea. well, it turned out to be a great idea a couple months later, when i ran over a nail leftover from a construction site. i brought my car back into firestone and my tire was quickly replaced, no questions or problems. read more

The new manager, Andres, was extremely helpful and went out of his way to show me the different options I had, and which tires would best suit my needs. The techs and the Sails people were really nice and was very help full i had to get a lot of work done to my car and it took about 2 or 3 days to get it back up and running but it was worth it now my cars runs like it used to before and it will start up with no problems and it doesn't stall whenever it wants he did something to my ECM but i don't care it was worth the money and the time that it was in the shop i will really really recommend going to this shop instead of any other shops in the Natick Framingham area i will not go to any other shops. read more

I have been to this location to get tires fixed multiple times (at least 4). They have always been more than helpful and quick with the repairs. Last year I got my car inspected while getting a tire replaced. Not a problem. Today I called and asked if they were busy for a state inspection. The person on the phone said "not at all bring it in". I showed up 10 minutes later and Alex told me it would be an hour and 45 minute wait. I explained that I had just spoke to someone on the phone who told me it was a good time to come in and he said "I don't care who you spoke to, I can't get to your car for an hour and 45 minutes". He went on to tell me that each inspection takes an hour (it has never taken more than 20 minutes here or at a gas station). Not only was he rude to me he was rude to other customers before me. I took my car there for state inspections three times in a row, but I don't think I'd go back there any more. Every time I bring in my car, they tell me the rear license plate light bulb is dead. What are the chances it was ok for the first four years since I bought the car and start burning out the bulb every year all of a sudden? Especially the last time, it was only a month after the routine service at the dealership. I don't feel it's a coincidence. But here's more. The person processing the payment in my last visit could not get through as any of my credit cards. He insisted that all of my cards were bad. I called one of the card services and she said she didn't see any charge or authorization request from there, but the guy was so insistent that it's not his problem. After some push back and forth, I gave up and paid cash from an ATM. As I walk out, I heard a dial-up modem sound from a terminal with another person processing a pay from another customer, which I didn't hear when he was trying my cards. He just didn't know how to process a credit card and put all the blame on me. read more

I took my Corolla in to get one of the bulbs for the headlights replaced. Asked them for an estimate. After 10 minutes, I get a quote for $65! Now, I've gotten these bulbs replaced before and it has never been this expensive. When I asked them for a breakdown of their estimate, he went on to explain that replacing the bulb wasn't a straight-forward process and that it involved very intensive labor! The cost of the part itself was reasonable; however, the labor charges were something else entirely. (esp. since I had checked my car manual and it seemed like a fairly trivial process. ) I ended up going to another reputable garage in the area. Got the bulb replaced for about $30. Moral of the story: know what you are shopping for, check your estimate, and ask plenty of questions. read more

I walked into Firestone for the first time because I had just bought a brand new car and had a bridgestone tire blow due to a razor cut after only 200 miles. The dealership threw me off the lot for demanding that they fix it. Firestone felt my pain and sold me a new tire at cost, and gave me lifetime road hazard warranty on all 4 for a really reasonable price. I left feeling a lot better! Firestone seems to be the only auto shop open past 5:30pm in Boston metrowest. So for that I give them 1 extra star. The guys got me out the same day but I didn't care for the service. Perhaps I'm just upset that I got put through the ringer for a simple fix. Now my car is approaching 200k miles and I'm trying to keep it going while limiting my repairs. So when a simple fix of replacing an exhaust pipe costs over $400 that just utterly ridiculous. Now yes, it was my own fault like leaving a recently turned 18yo coed at the federal penn but my gf and I can't miss work and I've got plans the day after. They managed to mount one of the wheels improperly, so as I drove off there was a hellacious noise from the front end. I had to pull of the road and make my way back. Happy camper here. Brought my car in, on appointment, for a previously quoted pair of tires (sale priced) , balance, alignment... The unexpected hitch was that I had understood the price included a front end alignment, as I had explained previously that my tie rods had recently been replaced. I was unsettled to be told that the alignment was for the tires and a front end alignment was an additional $79.99. I balked and told the manager I was not prepared for the additional cost. Holiday madness!! On Sunday, 12/22/2013, I picked up a nail while shopping--could hear it hissing when I got out of my truck. Took a look and saw a nail on the side of the tire and thought I was doomed. Rolled over to Firestone tire center there by the mall and they couldn't plug it as it went right through on the side to the point where it would be dangerous to roll around with just a plug from the auto parts store. So instead they gave me the best price available on two tires (I only have rear wheel drive) and had me back on the road within an hour. I then went back to get my car after the inspection, they took 30 minutes to take it off the lift, even though I repeatedly said, I just want my keys and to leave. No problem with service time. I do find it amusing that there is a sign over the door into the shop talking about honesty being the foundation of business, I paraphrase. I had researched online before going to store. I needed 2 front tires and front end alignment. The quote was nearly $400, and the alignment was $79.99. I had mentioned the tires on sale, was ignored and then told only the $100 tires were available, the others were out of stock. Told him that I would wait for them to come in. I was then told that he would give me a break on the labor. Still around $350. Told him that I'd wait on the tires to come in again. He then went into shop to "see what he could find ". Returned a few minutes later to tell me I was in luck, he found 2 that he would let me "have", that someone ordered them and didn't pick them up. Then had to show him the sale ad with 10% off. Walked out paying $295. Said that it pays to research before going. He apologized for the mix up and stated he would have to "fix" the stock record. Did I mention when I showed him the online quote it specifically stated these tires are in stock at your Natick store? Buyer beware. Women and older people are targets. Selling up is important to these types of businesses. Apparently, more important than return business. read more
