Jack restored my faith in the Firestone in Natick. I had two HORRIBLE experiences in the past with this branch. At one point I was ready to ask them To just put my tires back on in the middle of a break job BUT!!! Jack went out of his way to make sure that I had the high quality breaks and service that I deserved. He gave me an estimate on time and my car was finished 3 minutes before! (In the past I had waited extra hours). Rest assured, this is not the same Firestone from the one-star reviews you see on here. I swore I would never go back, but because they replaced my breaks initially I had to go back to this specific branch for warranty issues. I am glad I took the chance and tried it out again. I am happy to say I WILL be returning to this Firestone. Jack believes in true customer service and has an incredible work ethic! Bring your car to Firestone in Natick! Under new management you will be treated like a human and with the utmost respect. My father was a mechanic so I know my way around a car. This place has turned a full 180. I walked in a few days ago when my radiator popped and the second I saw Andre at the front desk, I didn't want to go anywhere else. I've worked with Andre quite a few times at the Braintree location and all I can say is that this guy knows what he's doing. Great customer service, listens to your problem, and recommends the best service hands down. Axel, one of the techs, has been a mechanic for 30 years, and I trust his work 100%. Could you go to a backyard mechanic and get it done cheaply? Sure. Will you get the level of service and guarantee that you do for these guys. Not a chance. Lots of Choices.... This is NOT a good one. Ultimately it's all about the people. I bought some tires here before a staff turnover changed for the worse. Guys in back may be good, hard to say, but the management in front are not. The sales staff (and manager) are just not knowledgeable about tires or mechanicals, their advice is profit motivated and not honest service advice, they will overcharge if you aren't paying close attention, and make you very uncomfortable if you decline optional work or try take advantage of the Firestone sponsored promotions. Firestone road hazard tire insurance may provide good peace of mind and they sell it hard with new tires. Hopefully you won't need to use it, because they make it painful. The staff at this location either don't know, don't want to know, or intentionally ignore the terms of the agreement and overcharge for replacement tire, mounting and labor. Make sure you bring a hard copy. You will need it. And it will be condescending, confrontational, and loud in what is a small combined waiting room and sales area. They often have oil change promotions which can be reasonably priced. But after using their service for some time, it is clear they are doing the bare minimum. Normally a Lube, Oil and Filter service. Here it is Oil and Filter ONLY. NO checking and topping off fluids. Also means that important suspension, steering and drive train lubrication is not getting done which will cost you much more than you save. Called ahead to make sure they do state inspection on Sunday and their hours. They assured me they did. So I made the trip only to be told there were "two people in front of me and each inspection takes 45 min". I was free to leave them my keys and wait a few hours if I liked or come back tomorrow. I work at a dealership, we do inspections in house and I witness them being done several times daily, never more then 15 min from start to end. We also occasionally employ the services of a local gas station which also does it in the same time. I feel like my intelligence was insulted a little. My suspicion is their tech may have been busy with more profitable work and they wanted to persuade me to go away. Which would have been fine is they just told me so on the phone so I didn't waste the time, but to expect me to believe state inspections take 45 minutes is just insulting. read more

These guys suck. they charged me 1500 bucks for a head gasket change and the car died again right after. they put the wrong oil in and didnt even put all the spark plug and distibutor wires back on right. They then tried to tell me i was gonna need a 1200 dollar fuel pump job done so I took it to another place and they fixed a minor problem in 2 hours and its been running well since then. read more

Having moved to Natick a year ago I wanted someplace nearby for simple things and Firestone definitely is great with the weekend hours. Had oil change done on my truck and no complaints. Very happy with work done on my girlfriends car, especially with what happened yesterday. Her car was due for oil change and recent behavior made her believe a new battery was in order. Explained this and battery was tested- told battery was fine. Surprised because you know they want to sell you a new one. Appreciated the honesty. Unfortunately, after leaving I went to another store 2 miles away, returning to car NO start, completely dead. Called Firestone and Tom was there within 10-15 minutes, got car jumped and he followed me back to shop. Other front-end guy who helped immediately gave me new battery no charge. They did more testing on old battery and car, which took time, thank God for tv with Patriots game playing. Though not happy with spending Sunday afternoon in the shop I'm happy the car is fixed and my girlfriend didn't have to deal with a dead battery later in the week. Yes, they try to upsell (recommended $38 windshield wipers?!?), but it's a business. The guys are very pleasant, honest and open. I will be back and recommend them. read more

Do not go there for a vehicle inspection!!!! I went there for a vehicle inspection. They said that my vehicle has passed safety test but the failed the emission. charged me $105.00 for just reading OBD computer 'service engine soon' nothing big but they said to replace the gas filler neck from Nissan dealer. I called the nissan dealer and knew the price of the parts($117.00). Firestone says that it will cost me $340 for parts and i cannot buy the parts directly from the dealer. and the total cost =640(parts + service) They said the vehicle inspection will take 30 mins but they made me wait for 2 hrs. 1 star is for their working hours in saturday/sunday and after 5:00 pm. i will never go to this station read more

I went to start my car one day after work, and it would not start. It would not sputter, it did not jump start, and nothing seemed to work. I towed it to this Firestone based on the proximity to my workplace, and they took it in to be evaluated the following morning. They called me to let me know that the battery was on its last leg (had it for 5 years, not complaining), and that they could replace it for me with a warranty of 5 years on the new battery. They finished within an hour, gave me a heavy discount, and was friendly and responsive. They answered my questions about the gauges and lights that turned on and even gave me a receipt for how many cc's were left on the battery for confirmation that it needed to be changed. I could not have asked for a more smooth and professional experience. Most people know that dealing with any automotive malfunction is usually a nightmare, and this was the best possible outcome. read more

Absolutely SUCKS! The workers are dishonest and don't give you the necessary information about your car although it should be part of their JOB! Moreover, the manager (elderly white guy) has a very rude attitude, more than the front-desk attendants. Here is my story - I moved my car from CA to MA and came here for the mandatory massinspection. Because of waiting customers, I left my car and came back after an hour. My car is pretty new with no issues. However, when I came back, they told me that my car has failed inspection because "the rear windows are too dark tinted". My windows did have tint but they should not have been too dark, but they refused to show me how dark they were (with the tint-meter). So I got my windows untinted & retinted to below the legal MA limit, spending $250, and went back. But they failed again, saying the "Tint is too dark". I argued that, that is impossible, and that I have photos from the tintshop's meter to prove this. But they kept on insisting that the tint is too dark, and would not bother to re-check on their end to prove to me their reason. They were basically afraid to be called on their mistake and were being obnoxiously adamant. This included the manager who was worse. After much heated argument, they agreed to recheck, with me present in their workshop, and found out that the tint is light enough but the front windshield's top tint is 1cm too long which is the reason for failing the inspection. The failed inspection record has now gone onto my carfax record as a "FAILED SAFETY INSPECTION" and devalues by car. Not only did they not bother to caution me before "failing" my car for a petty reason, they also refused to tell me the correct reason for failing it, which should be part of their job. Note: The african-american guy at the front desk, and the manager, both behave very rudely and un-cooperatively (basically jerks). And ofcourse they will take 3x more time for everything. read more

Every shop stand for making profit but also for supplying service to the community, they are obviously only interested in first goal, I stop by for a simple tire repair to remove a bolt in my tire, the manager take a look @ my tire and realize this a 15 buck job and not willing to take my business and tell me town fair tire shop is right next block, tell me go there to risk drive another mile and my tire and wheel might get wrecked. You can easily imagine what kind of service you can get when you hand over your key to them, theu only care to take money from you with minimum hassle and no good servixe guranteed. You imagine you pay for service to take good care of your car, no they treat it as burden and will do minimum they can. read more

I recently took my car to Firestone to have an oil change, tire rotation, and "complete check." They let me know of some items coming up (will need new tires before winter, should replace brake pads in next visit, etc.). The battery tested fine. After that, my car would not start. I tried for about an hour (turning it on and off). Eventually, my car started and I proceeded to drive on the highway where my car was shaking driving any speed. I called Firestone to let them know, and I brought my car back in that day. They had me replace the battery (even though the day before it tested fine), and said I needed new rotors and brake pads immediately. I paid for the services. A few weeks later (yesterday), my car had trouble starting again, and then would not accelerate speed above 20 mph. I pulled over, shut off my car, waited, and turned it on again. I drove to work, and then drove my car to my dealership (thinking I got a lemon). It turns out, Firestone did not connect the bottom of my air box after giving me an oil change. When I called Firestone to let them know, I was told that the manager would talk to the technician. Not that I would ever want to bring my car there again, and I would never recommend this place to my friends or family, but there was absolutely no apology from the manager, and no offer to give me a discount on future services or anything. I am completely disappointed with the customer service here. The prices are high, but you always hope that by going to a chain you are getting better service. Do not go here. read more

This place is a joke. They don't know a thing about cars, they have no business calling themselves mechanics. They're ok for a simple oil change if you have (no exaggeration) 4 hours to spare waiting. But if you need anything else done you're better off going to a more qualified mechanic who's not going to jerk you around for hours telling you they're getting a second third and forth opinion. I booked an appointment here more than 24 hours in advance for a winter tire changeover. The employee on the phone told me that I was all set for my confirmed appointment the following day. I put my four snow tires in the back seat of my car and showed up a few minutes early for my tire appointment the following day, only to be told that they didn't have any appointments booked for me, and that they would've called anyway to cancel the appointment because they were too busy that day. This is beyond terrible customer service, because it was going to snow later in the day I had booked the appointment for. Not only did they completely lose any record of my appointment, but they also were apparently booking jobs they couldn't take care of and were cancelling on people. I will stay away from this place and based on all of the other bad reviews here, this should've been the last place I considered going for tire service. The only positive thing was that the employee I was dealing with kept his cool when I expressed my displeasure to him. Kudos to you "employee" man, but try not to screw up people's car situation and you won't need to keep your cool in the first place. read more

Had four tires installed and three aluminum rims damaged. Still trying to figure out how they got one right. Got home looked at the new tires and wanted to puke when I saw how badly they scratched and scuffed the rims. What a bunch of hacks! If they can't even install tires correctly why let them do any work on your car at all? They will never work on my car again! Update...Just noticed they charged me for a Mass state inspection but never put a new sticker on my car. Also no report of pass/fail. Guess the inspection was never done. HORRIBLE! I called on a Wednesday to schedule an appointment for Friday to install 4 tires on sale. When I arrived for my appointment they did not have the agreed upon tires in stock. They then tried to sell me a more expensive tire. When I declined, they said they could have the agreed upon tires delivered within 90 minutes. I waited for over 4 hours and the tires had still not arrived. I talked with Steve the owner who was absolutely no help and left without the tires as an extremely unhappy customer I will NEVER go here again. read more

Never ever go here. I went here for state inspection they told me I needed 4 new tires, replace the tie rods and oxygen meter (or something similar) and failed my car. They said the repair will cost $1700. I did not have money then so I drove the car to another place n guess what the guy there tells me all I need is new oxygen meter and tie rod on one side and they cost for all this will be $600. Lesson learned never returning there. read more

I had purchased a lifetime warranty for the alignment on my car. I had brought my car here for the first time and I must say the staff were very friendly. They went above and beyond my expectations. Found tires with the best price and a rebate here at Firestone, made the appt. on line and arrived when they opened in the morning. i think many people have various experiences with this facility but i think i always have great experience and work done here. Granted it does take a while for something you think should take 2 hrs like oil change, i usually leave the car and come back for it later. At any mechanic shop in general, Sunday is usually not a good day to bring in a vehicle for complicated work because the master tech is not there. I always have JD the manager and Michael the tech do the work on my vehicles because they know my cars and they have the history log to go back to since they performed all the work on these two vehicles. I never go on Sunday because I had some truly bad experiences with the techs who work on Sunday. It's like having PCP for your car. It should go back to the same guy who always works on it and knows it well. I give credit to JD and Michael for doing their best on my cars, fixing what needs fixing, owning up to warranty problems without me saying so, being honest and good people in general. I give 5 stars to this shop for having two 2 people work there as they are honest and have integrity and pride in their work. read more

SUMMARY: NEVER EVER GO TO FIRESTONE IN NATICK, MA - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. It started when I got a quote for 4 new tires for my car. When I went later on the same day to get the work done, the sales rep (different from the one who gave me the quote) was not able to give me the same price as quoted earlier. He acted annoyed when I told him that he should be able to match the price I was quoted and he said there was no way he could match the quote. After arguing and explaining for 20 minutes, he finally called the sales person (Greg) who had generated my quote. Greg showed this other sales person how it was done and after 30 minutes of annoying explanations, he was finally able to match the price as quoted by them earlier on the same day. He did not offer any apologies and acted as it was all my fault. He was very arrogant and acted annoyed the whole time. He also got really annoyed when I declined the 'Hazard Protection' and after trying several times, he finally gave up. He didn't try to hide his disappointment and anger after I declined the additional coverage. Finally I was able to drop the car only to later find out that I had forgot to leave the tire lock key and of course they were not able to get the work done by the time I returned - it was fault on my part and I apologized several times for the inconvenience. We agreed that I would drop the car the next day and that I didn't need an appointment. I was also told all along that replacing the tires takes 1 hour and they ask for 1 hour and 15 minutes, just to be sure. I dropped my car off (with the tire lock key this time) next day at 11:30 AM and was told it would be ready by 12:45. I had somebody drop me off at their center at 12:30 and guess what; my car was still parked at the place I had left - WITH SAME OLD TIRES. I went inside and asked if they would be able to meet their promise. Greg went inside the workshop and said there was no way they could get the car ready in next 20 minutes. He did not forget to mention that since I had forgotten to leave my tire lock key the previous day, it was because of that that everybody was running behind their schedule. What a nice excuse!! How in the world could I have caused the whole center to run behind their schedule, especially when they did not even require an appointment? He did not apologize and had his arrogant behavior on display, just like the other salesman. Long story short, horrible customer service, will never ever go back to this store. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE I took my 2 cars for oil change. First I called them to make an appointment, they told me I don't need I can drop the cars and pickup in an hour. 9AM I was there. the salesperson told me it will take 2.5-3 hours. He wrote 2 work-orders and I asked him to take one of the cars to go store and be back in 15 min. Sure not a problem. I was surprised when I return back, I had to get back to line as a new arrived customer. OK, just do the oil change. I was able to pickup both cars at 1PM. Not only that, They told me I have 1mm left on my rear brake pads and I need to replaces them ASAP. Not only I could not pay 470$ at that time, but also I wanted to get 2nd opinion. I drove back home, I stop by and both rear pads from local store, then on my driveway took one off the rear tires off and looked my brakes.... I have more that half left on rear pads. Also they were going to put Wagner pads, but some cheap rotors (I found by part number) and they told me it is going to be Wagner rotors... I am closing my credit card with Firestone and no way for me to go there again. read more

NEVER GO THERE!!! I won't go into complete details, but these guys sucked! I came in for an alignment. They told me I had a bad inner tie rod, which was true and tried to sell me a MOOG one for $90 (just the part), I said no cause I could just go to O'Reilly's for the same exact one for $30 and do it myself. I paid for them to re-tighten the tie rod so I can at least get home safely and work on it myself. I couldn't even drive out the lot because of how bad it was. So I got it towed back home, when I went to replace the part the inner tie rod wasn't even attached. What did I pay them $250 to do? It wasn't aligned or even reattached. That's after spending from 9 am-5 pm there!! I go back for my "free alignment" When I left it was still not right, so when I went to another mechanic they told me he couldn't align the car because their was a bolt in the control arm that wasn't tight enough. Once he tightened it, he was then able to do the alignment. How did Firestone do an alignment???? That's not to mention the cashier not being able to understand what a mount and balance was, and the inner tie rod boot was ripped to shreds. These guys should've never been able to get there ASE unless the logo on their window is fake also. read more

i went to firestone to have 2 tires put on my car. the wait time was annoying b/c it took abt 20 minutes before anyone could help me. one guy up front was helping customers, the other one was just kinda there. finally i get helped. the guy is nice and he doesnt push when i say no to the more expensive tires. he gives me a quote with a finish time of 230. i left at 1245 and walked to starbucks. when no one had called @ 230 i went back. my car was in the back. it had been lifted and the 2 bad tires removed. so i waited til 3, still no car. i looked again and no tires on it still. i asked how much longer and they said 10 minutes. 10 minutes later i had my car and was out the door. they wouldve gotten a 5 if not for the first wait time and how long it took. they werent extremely busy but i think when i left to do other stuff they just left it there til i came back. i'll probably repeat service though. read more

COMPLETE FRAUD! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! I tried it because I was unhappy with the local mechanics and I was completely wrong. I went for an oil change, sticker and had them check an issue with my right front brakes. Took them 5 hours before they even took the car out for a test drive on the brakes and 10 minutes later they decided I needed both calipers replaced, my steering column, battery etc.... I had the entire frame and everything attached to it replaced by Toyota on a recall months earlier, NO WAY THEY COULD HAVE DIAGNOSED WHAT THEY DID. But it actually gets worse,...I told them do the sticker and oil change and nothing else. When I got the car back it was shaking and rattling...called them immediately and talked to the GM who acted completely clueless and tried to explain that during their diagnosis (sabotage) things may have gotten worse. Here is the worst part,...when I dropped it off I actually got a legitimate mechanic who knew what was likely wrong, understood it was a minor adjustment and knew that he might actually get a new client with honest service,...but once the fraud GM made up all these other issues and I called them on the BS this mechanic could not even look me in the eye when I came in. Gotta love that despite making a phone call before hand and leaving work early, I get there at 4:50 and the woman tells me that they won't do an inspection on my car. She says that the tech is working on another car for what will be the next hour. And that he's stayed late after working 7-5 to do that work. How is it my problem that Firestone even fathoms 10 hour work days as acceptable but then tries to give me some kind of bs excuse to not perform a simple service. When I remarked that it would only take ten min (brace yourself because the response is hilarious), she tells me that it's different for different cars. Last time I checked, you check the same things regardless of the car!
