A little on the higher side but definitely helpful and worth it. Easy experience and good customer service.

Completely unacceptable, frustrating experience…read more I paid $1,338 for front brakes and calipers, and within six months I was still having braking issues. When I returned, they replaced only one front rotor under warranty. After a third visit for the same braking noise/vibration, I was told the problem was my rear brakes, even though those had been replaced only three months earlier at another shop. I then went to three independent shops, and all confirmed the real issue was a warped front rotor (the one not replaced the second time I brought it in). This should've been fixed the second or third time I brought it in. Instead they shifted blame to another shop, in which their work was confirmed to be fine. And for the price I paid, I shouldn't have had to bring it in multiple times for the same issue. Still after three visits and over $1,300 spent, my issue was still not properly fixed. The only good thing about this experience was that it was under warranty, and another shop was able to fix my brakes properly. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before trusting this shop, and if possible save your time and go elsewhere.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent experience at the Auto Skills Center…read moreon Naval Station Norfolk. From the moment I approached the service window, my interaction with an older male employee, who appeared to be approximately in his 60s, was unprofessional and discourteous. I began the conversation politely by asking how he was doing, but was immediately met with an unfriendly attitude and a tone that came across as dismissive and entitled. Throughout the interaction, he behaved as though he personally owned the facility rather than serving customers who rely on the shop's services. My visit was simply to perform an oil change on my vehicle. As a first-time user of one of the vehicle lifts, I respectfully asked for assistance and a brief demonstration on how to operate the equipment safely. Instead of providing guidance, I was told to "figure it out" on my own. Given the potential safety concerns involved with operating automotive lifts, I found this response both inappropriate and concerning. When I acknowledged the sarcastic tone and lack of assistance I was receiving, the employee became defensive and stated that he would not tolerate my "attitude." Despite the fact that I had only requested help and expressed concern about how I was being treated, he refused to provide service, closed the service window in my face, and effectively ended the interaction without resolving the issue. I was genuinely surprised by the level of disrespect and lack of professionalism displayed during this encounter. Customers should be able to seek assistance, especially when operating unfamiliar equipment, without being treated poorly or denied service. The experience left me feeling unwelcome and disrespected. I believe this situation warrants review by management. Customer service representatives, particularly those working in facilities designed to support service members, their families, and authorized patrons, should demonstrate professionalism, patience, and a willingness to assist. Based on my experience, this employee's conduct fell far short of those expectations. I hope management will investigate this matter and take appropriate action to ensure future customers are treated with the respect and professionalism they deserve.

I also asked them to attach the skid plate and change the fluids. They had my car all day with no phone call. At 4 pm, I called and was told they only had one person who could do inspections and he was at another location, but everything else was done. Fine. I left it overnight again. The next day, still no phone call. At 2 pm, I called to check in. They told me the inspection still wasn't done because the guy was still at the other site. I calmly asked if they had called him to let him know my car was waiting. The response I got was, "You can come pick up your car!" I was stunned. I said I never said I needed the car! I was simply wondering why it was taking two days. This experience felt incredibly unprofessional. No communication, no urgency, and an attitude on top of it. And here's the kicker: I paid $65 for them to "attach" the skid plate. I drove home (two miles away) and immediately heard it dragging. I called them, and they said, "You need a new skid plate!" That may be true, but I should be refunded because whatever they did clearly didn't hold. I took pictures of their so-called repair: two zip ties. That's right! $65 for two zip ties that didn't even last two miles. They had my car for two days, with a lift, full view, tools, and my money, and this was the result. On top of that, the attitude I received was unbelievable. Buyer beware Especially women beware!

When they finally said it was fixed it was something that they never discussed with me and didn't get my permission to do. They were clueless.
