Recap - my 22y/o daughter took car for tire rotation and oil change. 100% certain the car had no oil leak before visit (new-ish driveway and never had oil spots). They told her she had an oil leak and wanted $47 to diagnose the leak. Sure enough, there were drips under her car that evening that were never there before. Update - today I took the car to the local dealer. They found the source of the "leak". Firestone didn't properly tighten the oil filter when they changed it. And Firestone overfilled the oil. All told it was about a $300 charge at the dealer for three services: 1. Diagnostic to find the problem Firestone created. 2. De-greaser to confirm no other leaks (there weren't any) and clean the damage from Firestone's mistake. 3. A replacement oil change to correct Firestone's overfilling. It still read above the full mark despite dripping for a week and whatever got sprayed around the engine compartment. Which left me wondering... Was the oil filter left loose out of incompetence, or was it left loose intentionally to create a leak to justify charging the $47 for "oil leak detection with dye" that they thought they could pull over on a 22y/o girl? The only other review on this location from this year also mentioned loose oil filters, so I'm apparently not the first to experience this. read more

Took my lowered 2025 gr86 in for tires and an alignment and had to truck and trailer it there. I explained how I was worried if they were going to be able do it and the guy came and took a look at my car and continued to say they could. I had an appointment set up for 11:30 and then I gave them the car 30 mins early and they said it wouldn't be don't until 5, they then called me at 4 and told me they weren't able to do anything with the car but could do my tires if I personally took them off if I had the equipment. Warning do not bring your vehicle here. Twice I brought my car here for simple oil changes many months apart and as a result left with severe problems that were not there before. They failed to secure oil filters and damaged oil lines. Whether this was intentional or not is unclear. Bot times I had to get things repaired by someone else at additional cost. Additionally, when dropping off my vehicle I observed staff throwing bolts and tools across the garage. Find another place to get your vehicle fixed or maintained. My brakes felt a little bouncy when I made a sudden stop on the freeway. I had Firestone look at my brakes just to be sure they were ok. They said I needed pads and rotors. Wanted about $1500. I took it to another shop and they said no repairs were needed and brakes looked fairly new. I went back to look at my service records and both front and rear brakes were done less than 3 years ago. Had my car in the Pewaukee Firestone shop for regular maintenance (oil change, tire rotation). After picking up the car, I noticed that the mechanic had spilled oil all over the engine. Had to put cat litter on my garage floor for days to soak it all up. Plus: they had forgotten to tighten several of the lug nuts! These are car service basics: never return a car to the customer without checking the lug nuts. This place is unsafe, never go there again. read more

took my car here for a oil change, tire rotation and the $9.99 total inspection. So, the tires went well, and supposedly the inspection was complete. I pay my bill, get all the documents which the mechanic signed off as complete. The assistant manager Brock, tells me he will go over their findings. He takes me out to the service bay (NOT allowed), then asks me to get in my vehicle and start it up, Upon staring it up Brock asks me to back my vehicle out of the service bay. I do as told. Guess what...no brakes! He hangs on to the driver's side window until my car stops after hitting another customer's vehicle. Unconcerned about the customer (me) he runs into the shop to tell everyone what happened. I come in very upset, it is 100% not my fault. Immanuel Garcia, the manager exclaims many times profusely, that they are 100% at fault. He wrote a report,contacted the Waukesha Police Department and secured me a rental car. However, now they are all LIARS! Brock denied telling me to back the car out. Well, why would he invite me into the service bay (against all rules) tell me to start my car....then he told me to back it out which now he denies. WHY would he tell me to get in my car and start it without him also asking me to back it out? He never asked to get in the driver's seat to back it out. He told me to back it out. Plain and simple. And, why would Immanuel authorize me a rental car? Firestone Corporate is vicious and lying to rewrite the script, totally blaming it on a poor individual. Bridgestone/Firestone are absolutely NOT in touch with the people they serve. Screw the little guy! As long as their pockets run deep! read more

I took my sedan into this Firestone on Silvernail Rd. because it was making an aggressive noise that was coming behind the front left wheel well. When I took it in, they quoted me 400, for something unrelated, to fix a different problem because it was severely needed. They also quoted me $3,000 to fix struts and a series of parts because my car was ABSOLUTELY going to break down in the near future. I took the car to a different place for a second opinion, nothing was wrong with it and a small adjustment was made to fix the problem making the noise costing me 50$ for labor, and no parts were needed. They quoted me a ridiculous price for something minor. I've been a customer for years and treating someone loyal like this is incredibly unethical. read more

LIERS!!!! First time coming to the Firestone company to get tires done+oil change I asked to have my battery tested as well during service, at the end the mechanic comes out and says my battery is bad and needs replacing he asked if he could replace it, I said no I want to get it replaced myself, I take my car to advanced auto parts and oreilly auto parts to check my battery they both said it was good. I did not appreciate being lied to about my battery considering how much I was paying them!! I will not go to this store again!!!!! read more

I've been a customer from time to time through the years. The most recent was to buy another set of tires to replace the one that I also bought from them. The last set they screwed up on what tire I wanted as a spare. It had obvious tread separation and they tossed a good tire. So come to the present and it was deja vue but worse. Again they put an obviously defective tire back in the car as a spare. We found the tire that I wanted and they remounted it. Then when I get home, I see a hub cap missing. Fortunately they found that. So the next day I go to work. First time on the expressway since the new tires. It shakes so bad I can't go over 50. Take it back again and yes the balance was way off. Almost forgot. I had an oil change too and when home there was oil dripping in my driveway. My car has a shield by the filter and it must be removed to change it. They didn't and they spilled oil in it and never cleaned it up. So never again will I go there. You don't know if the mechanic is competent or a fricking careless idiot. Management made NO EFFORT to make my bad experiences right by offering SOMETHING beyond redoing the mistakes and an apology. Not good enough guys. Time is money and I wasted too much with you. Valvoline next door will give you a free oil change if they mess up like that. The new car dealerships may be a bit more expensive, but at least they include a car wash. You could have bought me one at the Mobil Station and that would have soothed my opinion of you. But no, you just don't care. Firestone also sends out surveys. I pretty much said the same thing. So far all I've heard back are crickets. read more

So, I had Gotten my alignment done at the Sheboygan location because I was traveling up there at the time and sure enough my car was pulling to the right months later and I had gotten the 1 year warranty. So I come into this location because I live in this town. So I call and ask to get my alignment done under my warranty. They said come on in. So I show up to the shop. And the women that works there has a serious attitude problem. She says I can not get it done at this location because the original work was not done by them. So I call the Sheboygan location and they said that's not true, that I fact I can get it done at any location. The women there just keeps arguing with me and I really wanted to smack her every time she opened her big mouth. Just a horrible service all together. read more

I messed up some springs on the hood latch of my car. Brought it to this location anticipating a long fix with a large service fee. This was not the case at all! The guy who fixed it was very nice, and extremely helpful! He fixed the problem and sent me on my way in less than 20 minutes. I will definitely be coming back with any future problems. read more

I kept losing air on my VW GLI tire. It was an 18" low profile wheel that hit a pothole and cracked. This was the second time the 18" wheels caused tire problems. Immauel recommended I replace all four wheels with a 17" rim. That would be the same price as one VW brand wheel, give me a better ride and lesson the chance of blowing out a side wall or cracking a rim. I knew I had to replace my tires and 4 tires for the 17" rims would be $200 cheaper. I walked away with way more because of his counsel. Thank you! I am thrilled with my new smoother ride and my wheels that still look great. read more

We usually go here without any problem whatsoever and have typical auto maintenance done. Once I was in another town and needed a tire pronto, as I had a flat. The guy at that place said my tires didn't match. I'm not sure why Firestone has tires on my car that don't match and I intend to ask them if/when I go back again. read more

I called in the morning for new tires and they got me in same day. I was in and out in about an hour. Staff were all very friendly and they didn't try to sell me on things I didn't need. They also offer free tire rotations if you buy tires there. I was very pleased with my service. read more

Do not have any service work preformed here. Had my car 's fuel pump replaced for $800.00. In the process they called me and asked if I wanted my fuel filter replaced in the process. I said yes to replacing it. I have changed my fuel filter myself in the past. Laying on the ground it would take about 10 min. to replaced. They charged me an additional $80.00 for a fuel filter! After I drove the car for a few days the check engine light came on. I took the car back to have it checked at Firestone. They told me the code was a large leak from the evap system. The also told me they smoke tested the system for leaks and found nothing. I jacked up my car and crawled under it and found a broken hose at the the fuel tank vent valve. You could see they broke the hose when they wacked in the fuel pump. The smoke test they told me was a lie. They even told me they raised the pressure on the test to look for the leak. The mechanics are a bunch of hacks and short cutters when it comes to working on peoples cars. I payed good money for a job and got shotty work and lied too. read more

Went in last year for noise on the front end. Thought it was the bearing on the passenger side. They said it was the bearing and breaks were bad. Had all replaced. Noise worse. Took it back. They said it was something else that had to be replaced before they would re-look at breaks.Had that replaced. Noise even worse. took it in on a Saturday (had an appointment). Came back Sunday for car nothing done as one of the mechanics had taken home the gage needed and not brought it back. Brought back again still noise. Said it was the parts they used and they had to order actual KIA parts as they had used after market parts that did not fit right. Brought it back for the appointment after parts came in. 2 weeks later making noise again. Took it to dealer. Brake calipers not properly adjusted when brakes were changed. Almost $2000.00 most of which I probably did not need to spend and 6 visits. $38.00 to fix at dealership. I had been using this Firestone for almost 15 years, never again unless I have no choice. Also after that wife took her car in for repair and oil change. Dropped off Friday night. Came back Sunday for car and oil change done but repair not because mechanic did not show up for work on Saturday. This place has gone way down hill. Constant apologies are not enough. read more

Would not recommend them at all!!!! First off, we brought our car in for a flat tire and they replaced a sensor and valve saying that was a problem. The next day while driving to work on the freeway our car was swerving all over, needless to say we again had a flat tire. When we returned for them to evaluate They found a large gash in the tire which they missed the day before. My question is how the gash was missed? Oh and to top it all off when we picked the car up there was grease on the steering wheel and shifter. Will not be using them again for any service. read more
