JERRY AND THE FIRESTONE TEAM ARE LIFE SAVERS!!! My Audi has been asking for an oil change for a few weeks and I'm driving to Vegas in TWO DAYS. I was going to address when I got back, I didn't have time to take it to Audi in Phoenix like usual. Idk what came over me but I decided to call a few people randomly today to see if they can do an oil change on my car and get the oil change reminder to go away. Out e places, Firestone was the only one who had everything to get the job done properly. Even found me a coupon for the oil change and I found a coupon online for a tire rotation and inspection for 10$. Its about to drive 8 hours in total so I added it on. I get a call saying my engine coolant is low, they want to do a pressure test just to be safe so my car isnt overheating on my drive. They made an amazing deal for that as well so I said yes. I then get a call saying the cap is cracked and basically disintegrated. I call Audi in Phoenix and thankfully they have the part so some family starts heading that way. They won't be back in time so I'll be meeting Jerry 8 AM Sunday morning to do the pressure test and make sure I'm good to go. The coolant light came on driving home and I pulled over in a panic but he assured me that its just the cap that we are fixing in the morning and made me feel way way better. I got scared it was overheating on my way home. I was able to pull out my manual and it did tell me that since my Audi doesnt have a temp gauge, I message will come on the screen telling me to pull over and let the car idle with the engine on if it were overheating. The message i got was telling me to actually do the opposite, it said: "turn engine off and check coolant level" so I that point I was completely fine driving home knowing no overheating was taking place. I had a handful of full blown mental breakdowns during this dilemma (knowing I was to be going on my road trip in less then 48 hours) but they were extremely extremely reassuring. Also shout out to Audi arrowhead who made sure the part was waiting up front for my family with 2 gallons of coolant!! Jerry said something that did make my hair stand up and was the best reminder in the world to go with your gut: "If you had gone on that trip without us finding this issue, it would've likely destroyed your engine" I truly don't know what angel shoved me to start calling around and talking to Jerry but thank the actual heavens!! THANK YOU JERRY, AUDI, AND FIRESTONE TEAM!! YOU SAVED MY WEEK AND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS!!! Jerry is a gem and firestone treat him right!! Had these guys change my oil. Got home and had constant oil drips on garage floor after. Never happened before. Had to make a trip to Phoenix the next day so I called Jerry the manager. I either had a loose oil filter or loose oil pan plug. He said he could not get me in to check it until the next day. I told him I had to make a trip to Phoenix the next day. He could care less. He refused to get me in that day. He said I didn't have an appointment. NEVER will I go to these guys again. I then called Pep Boys in Prescott and they said to bring it in and they will check it for me. Just found out from Pep Boys that the oil drain plug was over torqued and oil leaking out. Have to pay for another oil change and new plug. read more

this shop did an amazing job identifying the issue with my car QUICKLY. was in town visiting family and my check engine light turned on. thankfully this place was open on sunday as everywhere else was closed and i needed to return home that day. even though they didn't have the part i needed at the store, they identified the problem and quoted me on the part replacement cost. major sigh of relief because what i thought was a water pump failure was only a coolant hose leak. i was able to drive home on it and fix it at another location when i had more time. they replaced my engine air filter and waived the cost of labor for it, too! was in and out of there in about an hour and a half. read more

We've taken our truck here several times for an oil change and just recently to put on new tires. Each experience has been a pleasant experience. The only thing that needs to be fixed is their corporate website with booking times. It doesn't match the actual shop at all. I had gone online to make an appointment and got a call a half hour from the shop to say that time wasn't available and I'd need to pick a new time. So avoid booking anything online. Update: 2/11/23 Went in because we found a screw in our tire. Gentleman who came out to help DID NOT EVEN LOOK AT THE TIRE and immediately said "well I can tell you right now it's unrepairable and you'll have to get a new tire". Who in their sane mind can tell if it's repairable or not without looking at it? Absolutely stupid. read more

I am not the kind of person to use Yelp to rip on hard working people that may have made a simple honest mistake, but I feel everyone should be cautious of this. I brought my truck in for an alignment. On the phone, Jerry asked if I'd like to purchase a lifetime alignment for $200. It was unclear if that meant my lifetime (meaning every time I get a new vehicle this carries over) or the vehicles lifetime. Option A seemed way too good to be true, but I asked a couple times if that's what he meant. The answer I got was yes. I purchased this about 6 months ago, taking Jerry for his word without reading the find print. My truck was totalled over a month ago. When scheduling my new truck for an alignment I figured I could use the LIFETIME alignment but of course I couldn't. I asked for a refund of the $100 extra that I spent and they told me I'd have to come in and use the card terminal. Even then they couldn't completely refund the extra money. I don't live up there and that's not an option. I talked on the phone to the gentleman who runs the shop and he was less than helpful. He assured me that their staff know how the lifetime alignment works and would never say that. Wish I'd recorded the convo because that's EXACTLY what was promised. Say what you want to me about that sounding WAY too good to be true. That's what I thought! But nope, it is not true at all. read more

I have been told they are under new management, but generally these guys don't know cars or tires. They also are not willing to own up to mistake, which means they won't learn. The positives: the tires are a good deal. The negatives: last year I bought an old truck. I was told it had locking lugnuts and the couldn't put the new tires on. That was wrong. Then it was "racing lugnuts" that they didn't have an "adapter key" for. The lugnuts fit a standard half inch rachet. After I figure that out they installed the new tires I bought. The real reason I gave them a one star is that they made dig deal of giving me an "adapter key"... that didn't do anything as the lugnuts are designed to be used with a half inch ratchet. In their defense Big O wasn't able to figure out the lugnuts either. read more

I show up 10 minutes early and I was told they have two cars head of me and that it's going to be a while. I was told to reschedule if I have somewhere to be. I contemplated if i should write a review but since my emails and phone calls to firestone have not been reaponded to i suppose this is the next step.... I made an appointent at 12, was called back and ask ti make it for 1:30. Ok not a problem . im getting a brake inspection and from there see what services are needed. I sat in that place from 1:30 to 5:45 . at 2:15 i was told and employee was late. Every fifteen min i was told it would be twenty more minutes. At 6:30 im told they cant even get the tires off and nees to go to the dealerships..... It took FIVE hours to be told that!! I was offerd a discount when i bring it back of 40 dollars off a service, ok thats decent anf we all make mistakes right? I decide to give it a second chanch a few days later.....reallllly bad idea.... I had yet another appointent this time at 11 and am told its and hour and a half total to do the job. I had an appointment in phoenix at 5 so they assured me it would be done promptly. Nope! I sat in that place feom 11 to 4:45 . i was seriously worried about my apointment . so even after all that they didnt apply my discount and had to point it out. Honestly , i cant belive the service wasnt free of charge after it took a toatal OF 11 HOURS to get a simpke break job done. All i recived was weak apologies and run around. My son had a flat and was in Flagstaff AZ, able to put on the mini spare. We had tire warranty with Firestone but the tire was not in stock and Prescott Valley (the only FCAC in the area) is quite some distance on a mini spare??? What to do? Roy, the manager was able to locate the tire in Phoenix and have a courier take it to a Flagstaff tire shop, NOT a Firestone owned shop mind you, but an independent and they did the install the next day. This took quite some time to coordinate with many moving parts. Roy thank you so much, a parents nightmare when their kids break down out of town. We have had a couple experiences with this location and neither one was especially commendable. One tire rotation wasn't done as promised- wiper blades were noted as replaced but again not done. Time is always ready around 4 PM no matter what you take the car in. Not real impressed. read more

Very sloppy work. I received an oil change on my truck from firestone and the next day there was a puddle of oil staining my garage floor. I brought it back, and it turns out they accidently drained oil into my skid plate. Instead of taking off the 4 bolts to clean it, they gave it back to me without telling me. Their service manager apologized and offered me my next oil change free saying it wouldn't happen again. When I brought it back for my next oil change, the exact same thing happened. I've never had this issue changing my own oil, or with anyone else. But now after firestone, I have 2 large oil stains in my garage due to very sloppy work even when it would have been a very simple solution. I needed a simple oil change. I went to several companies' websites in search of coupons, including Tire Liquidators in PV. As it happened, Tire Liquidators had the best coupon deal for an oil change...only 12.95, including a tire rotation (the tire rotation offer is printed in a large red ribbon at the top of the coupon). This is not a Groupon or something. It was a coupon offered directly from the Tire Liquidators website. I went in to the lobby and spoke with Roy about getting the oil change done. I handed him the printed out coupon, showing the 12.95 price. He began to write up the service ticket for the "high mileage" oil change that costs 39.00. I told him I only wanted the coupon special oil change (the one printed on the coupon that I handed him). He complained that he only makes one dollar on that coupon. I told him that I was only asking for the deal shown on HIS coupon. He said to me, "It's not mine it's theirs (meaning Fletcher's). I hate them." I indicated to him that I really didn't care, and asked if the coupon was valid or not. He finally wrote the order for the 12.95 advertised price. I waited for over an hour for the oil change to be completed. The technician came and spoke to me about the fluid levels on my car, which were slightly low. She offered me to flush the brake system and the power steering system, for a fee. I declined. She then told me that my front tires had only about 40% tread left, but the rear tires were at about 60%, which made sense since I had replaced the rear tires some time after replacing the front tires. She was not trying to sell me tires, she was merely informing me of her findings. She was very personable, and seemed quite efficient. About 10 minutes after speaking with her, I was called to the front to pick up my car and pay the ticket. Roy again complained about the low profit on the coupon deal. He asked me if I wanted to buy something else to "help him out". Pretty unbelievable, really. I declined to make any additional purchases. I paid, retrieved my keys and left. Upon arriving home, I noticed that the tires had not been rotated. The front tires were still on the front, the rear ones still back there. Apparently Roy had not written the ticket in a way to show the technician that a tire rotation was to be performed. I did not check to see that a new oil filter was installed, and my daughter has now taken the car off to college with her. I have no faith in this company, due largely to the dismal attitude Roy had about the coupon. Side note: We were actually considering getting an alignment done here at the time of this oil change, but Roy's attitude put me off so much that I decided not to get the alignment done at Tire Liquidators. I had it done at another shop. Wish I had asked them to check the oil filter. I will try to post a picture of the coupon that I used. read more

Never again. Plan on being there for a minimum of 1 hour even if you have an appointment to just check the air in your tires. APPOINTMENT TIMES mean nothing. If buying new tires you might not get all 4 at the same time. They say they will call you when the tires come in but they wont, EVER. When you finally get all four tires you'll be back in a few days to get them re-balanced and when that doesn't work you will find yourself at some other place to have it done right. By the way , if you do have any work done there keep an eye on your car. They will have the work done and your car pulled up front and wait 30 to 45 minutes to tell you it's ready. Only one person has a clue as to what they are doing and unfortunately it's not the manager. I am bringing my 2 fleet vehicle 's elsewhere. read more

This is probably the worst place in town to get tires. Yes, they may have the cheapest tires, but the service is horrible. This is the second time my husband and I have come here and the wait can be endless. We left at one point, got a call from them stating our vehicle was finished (after four hours). When we arrived, the tires were off, but the new ones still hadn't been put on! They were already two hours past their closing time and were rushing to get the job done. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Scheduled an appt for front brake job on a Honda Accord. A very simple, straightforward job. Waited an hour for them to do a check that I didn't ask for. Then I was told that just for the front brakes alone, it would cost $400 (more than the dealer)! Knowing that I was already there with my car torn into and sitting on the lift, Idecided to get it over with. Nothing better than sitting there another 6 hours as they had to order parts (I literally gave you days to do this--hence the appt) and the BEST pasty--they ordered the wrong pads. WTF. No apologies, no discounts. Still waiting to hear if they're going to try to charge me for the 6 hours of labor as it sat in the lift the whole time. Screw this place. Ps. If you want unneeded high priced work done on you car to a substandard level this is the place you are looking for. I had suspension work done at my mechanics today, so after completion of the work I went to Tire Liquidators for a simple alignment. Shortly after dropping it off I received a call telling me that my steering pitman arm, my steering idler arm and both inner tie rod ends were bad. Knowing this is a very common scam used by alignment shops I told them just do the alignment and that's it. I called my mechanic and informed him he told me he had looked at them that morning and they were fine. I informed the front desk clerk that I don't appreciate having someone try to scam me, his reply was that at least I saved $50 on the work. My reply was I would have rather paid the money than been lied to. I then drove straight back to my mechanic who put my Tahoe back up on the lift and re-inspected the steering system finding no issues. The good news is that my steering wheel is no long aligned so I'll have to find someone to correct that. We decided to drive to Prescott on a whim. Unluckily for us, our car decided to act up and a light came on and decided to not go over 30 mph. Luckily, we coasted into Firestone. I want sure when we walked in the reception wasn't warm by the first staff member. However, Lucas took over and was amazing. He was super helpful, communicated the whole time and didn't make us feel crappy because we walked in without an appt. He didn't sugarcoat things, which we understood, but he gave us all the info we needed. We sure appreciated his (and the techs) help to get us back on the road. Our experience could have been much more of a challenge if he wasn't so helpful. So thanks to everyone at the Firestone, especially Lucas and the tech that was knowledgeable about VWs. read more

I feel disrespected after my visit, and I'm afraid you might too if you go here. I will never return. And based on other reviews I have read, I know others won't be returning either. I had an appointment for an oil change at 9:30 am, to which I arrived a couple minutes early. After waiting for Dick, the representative working the front desk, to finish working out an oil change for an off duty employee (also sitting behind the desk), I was addressed and after taking my information he said to me, "it might take just over an hour," as, "a couple guys didn't show up for work the past couple days." I honestly tried to be patient with the situation and told them I would be willing to wait about an hour (even though this is rather long given that I had scheduled an appointment on a prior day.) After time went on (and a trip to Hobby Lobby and back), I went to talk with Dick again...at 12:10! My car had not been started yet. I was using a Groupon today, but after other fees my required amount due today would be about $11. I thought that, since I was nearing on three hours to have my oil changed and my car hadn't even made its way into the garage yet, it was reasonable to ask for the 11 dollars to be waived today. Just as a curtesy for my time. ...Dick didn't think so. He told me I could schedule for another day but that the $11 would not be waived. I asked if he was joking, he said no. He said, "I tried to warn you earlier..." I reminded him that he told me, "It might be just over an hour." He did not apologize. Furthermore, them not being willing to waive 11 DOLLARS for a nearly 3-hour wait was proof enough that they were not sorry about the situation. Insult to injury was that the EMPLOYEE who dropped in to have an oil change was nowhere to be seen and presumably had been taken care of more promptly then customers with scheduled appointments. I had been talking to another customer who had been waiting for an oil change and tire patch (WHO HAD BEEN WAITING SINCE HER APPOINTMENT AT 8:00 AM) and let her know they weren't willing to give me an $11 discount and that I was just leaving. To this, Dick replied, "Alright, why don't you get going now," as if HE was tired of WAITING for ME. As I was walking out to get in my car I heard Dick let the mechanics know that they didn't need to worry about my car anymore. I heard one of them say, "He's only been waiting for like an hour," at which point it was 12:15 PM, more than 2 hours and 45 minutes from my arrival and scheduled time. Wow. What a waste of my time with absolutely no sign of care on the part of Fletcher's. The only impression I got from them is that I was putting them out for showing up to my appointment on time. We have always had a great experience with good quality and timely service when we have taken our cars to tire liquidators. Recently had appointment for promotional oil change and it was done within 20 minutes and the prices could not be beat by anyone. We also take our cars for more complicated issues and are always shown and explained what needs to be done if anything and what it will cost. Everyone treats you good from the manager down to the techs. Good job! read more

Had four tires installed plus an alignment, first thing i noticed the steering wheel was still not straight and i specifically asked them to straighten it during the alignment process. 60 days later (1500 miles) I went back in because the I wanted the alignment checked and the tires balanced because it had a vibration since the install. They called me later that day and said my ball joints and drag link where worn out. Now, I am an ASE Master certified technician that is very anal with my vehicle, I personally inspected the front end before taking to them and jabout 15 months/8000 miles before replaced the ball joints, and just 60 days before they performed an alignment and did not mention before? They were hoping I would not know any better and pay to have them perform unneccessary work! Never once was a provided a print out of the alignment results, so i can only wonder if it was ever performed. In addition i requested they perform a static tire balance which is where all the weights are on the inside of the wheel. When I picked the vehicle up. they tried to bill me for the balance and the alignment even though all was under warranty and upon inspection I found that all the wheel weights that where on the vehicle when I dropped it off where still on it, meaning they never even balanced the wheels. Would not recommend them to any one, you will be lucky if they do the work that they bill you for. read more

Too bad 0 stars is not an option. This place is the worst tire store I have EVER been to. I knew that I had a screw in my left rear tire so I stopped to have it repaired and to get a quote on some new tires as I will need to replace mine soon. As I walked in, the guy behind the counter was laughing and jokingly telling a customer how great their service is and high fived another employee. I said, "Wow he sure seems awful confident, let's see how well he can handle a simple screw in a tire". He laughed and then said, "Discount Tire is really good at simple tire repairs, you should have gone there." (I should have taken him seriously) I gave him my name, information and keys to my truck. He told me that it would be done within 30 minutes. I advised him that I was going to walk over to Home Depot and would return in a half hour. I actually gave him and his staff 45 minutes and returned to find that the truck was still up on the rack. (not sure why it was on the rack for a simple tire repair) I then went into the waiting area and sat down. Another 15 minutes went by and no one ever came back to the counter. I took a walk outside to see what the status was. The truck was still on the rack and a "technician" was beating and jabbing the you know what out of my tire in an effort to remove the screw that was in the tread. A Cornwell tool vendor arrived and brought in paper work for some tools that the employees had apparently ordered. One of the employees (the one I first encountered in the lobby) followed the vendor to his truck, inquiring about tools that might be on sale. (Apparently more important than the 3 customers that are waiting for their vehicles) I returned to the lobby/waiting area where there is STILL no one at the counter and sat down to wait some more. A full hour and 15 minutes after I arrived, the one who beat my tire into submission came to the counter and called my name. I told him that that was an awful long 1/2 hour and he told me that they are extremely shorthanded and that the screw in the tire was very difficult to remove. I told him that I saw him beating and jabbing the tire and that I hoped that there is no tread separation secondary to his "technique". I paid him (can't believe they would actually charge for such poor customer service) and left the store. The quote I requested for new tires was never discussed. They apparently have very good tire prices but I would rather pay a little more for decent customer service. As my dad always said, "You get what you pay for". So needless to say, I would not recommend this tire store. read more

Thought I'd give firestone a try. Huge mistake! Took my truck in early on a Saturday hoping to get four new tires installed before heading out of town. They didn't have the tires I needed at the time but said they would order them if my company would approve them. They insured me that as soon as they received the approval someone would call me so I could schedule an appointment, after a few days I called to check up and was told they had got the approval needed. I guess they were to busy to contact me to make the appointment. They said they were super busy and I had to wait nearly a month to get my truck in to replace the tires. So I set a early appointment at 9am hoping I could get in and out before they got too busy. I was told it would take no longer than 1.5 hours. They called me after 4 hours to tell me it was done. So much for making an appointment. When I got there no one was in the front lobby so I waited and waited finally someone walked in, didn't say a word to me he just tapped on the paper where I needed to sign. Not ever a sorry it took so long or anything. I signed and walked out. I highly recommend taking your money and business somewhere it's appreciated not to firestone. First and last time I'll go there. Piss poor service. read more

I wouldn't rate this business a one, more like a negative 3. The customer service is horrible in every way. I use to bring my cars for oil changes, tires, brakes and alignments. I will never go back. My last visit was for an alignment. It took 3 hours and they said the alignment was fine. I asked for a print out and he said they didn't have paper to print out the report. They are full of excuses from the manager to the so called flunky technicians. I honestly DO NOT see how they are still in business. The whole staff is young and immature. Changes need to be made quick otherwise the business will and should fold. Several other auto shops in the area that will take care of the customer than deal with this shady "Tire Liquidators" location. read more

Not this Prescott Valley store, or I guess Tire Liquidator's as they go by now. If a score of "0"/zero was an option that would sum up these people. If your car didn't have a serious problem before, it will after taking your car to this place. These people are not qualified to service your daughter's toy Barbie Jeep.
