On Friday my Dad who is almost 80 and his wife who is 75 were driving from Solvang to see me in Elk Grove. As soon as the got on I.5 their a/c gave out. They spent 3 hours driving in 100 degree temps with no AC. Saturday morning we googled AC repair and Firestone Complete Auto popped up. The EG store machine was down so we called Sac. Luckily for my parents Ken answered the phone. We explained to him what happened and he said to bring it down. The team in the store was great. My Dad has trouble hearing and they quickly adjusted their voice so he could hear everything. They called within a half hour of the time they promised and told my Dad their findings. By 4 o'clock my folks were back on the road with a full repair. I can not tell you how much I appreciate Ken and his team. They were precessional, kind and patient as well as providing EXCELLENT customer service. If I need future things done with my car I will happily drive the 22 miles from my home to have Ken and his team work on my car. read more

Came here to get my tire repaired since I purchased the full set here. I waited 45 minutes and not even close to getting my car in, they didn't even take a look to see how serious it was. I asked for my keys and went down the street. It was an easy fix took about 3 minutes and was on my way. The three stars is for the initial customer service. I wouldn't recommend anyone come here for a screw in the tire although a security guard came in and said he had a screw in the tire and a man at the front desk said leave the car there and give me 15 minutes. I came here for the first time today on recommendations from two people because two of my tires pressure were lower than the others and I didn't want to take a risk driving on them. I'm a woman so I'm also on edge going to auto repair shops because sometimes people aren't so honest but here i was able to get help quickly from Jonathan and he was very informative about the type of tires for the model of my car. I wasn't there for any major tire repair so I can't say how long the wait is or how good the service would be for that, but for a simple air pressure check and free air the service I got was top notch. Paid for their lifetime alignment service and a set of tires at this location. One week later, i came back for a quick oil change and while the car was being worked on, they told me my 1 week old tires are bad and that a bad alignment caused it. They recommended that i get an alignment and a new set of tires (not knowing that i was there a week ago). They blamed the bad alignment on my driving... saying i probably drove into a pot hole or hit a curb. Yet they tried to give me a $5 discount on my oil change. Went to a different shop down the street to get an alignment and a new set of tires instead. It has been 13 months/12k miles later and my alignment is within spec and my tires has no bad wear. I would not recommend this shop location to anyone. read more

I work in customer service and I would never speak to a customer the way he spoke to my father and I. He was defensive and quick to blame me for the issue we had and I will not be returning. After my negative review, I was contacted by the manager at this Firestone store, and he apologized for the inadequate service I received. Apparently, the reason that they didn't check to see if I had a flat tire, was that the person who took my information at the front counter was new, and mistakenly wrote the service order for a "vehicle inspection" instead for tire repair. I am being reimbursed the $21.99 fee I was charged, and the manager offered an IOU for a free oil change. I told him that I get my car serviced at the Toyota dealer because it's still under warranty, and he said I could give the IOU to someone else as a gift. I very much appreciate the prompt response and effort to address my complaint, as well as the refund of the fee I paid and offer of a free oil change. This all reflects good faith on the part of the business. While the manager did agree from looking at the information provided by the technician that I still have 15,000 to 20,000 more miles left on the three tires in question, he did not really explain why the technician recommended I replace those tires. I hope that they aren't making similar recommendations to other customers whose tires do not need to be replaced. read more

Johnathan is the MAN!!!! When I first showed up this dude greeted me with a huge smile. I asked about tires and he came out in the pooring rain to check my tires for me. Then gives me a quote with all the services that come with just buying the tire. Also, just to add, I checked with competitive tire shops after I left and none could offer me the service and price that Johnathan did. I asked if he could give me some advice on a clunking sound in the front of my vehicle and he offered that he could do much more than that he informed me about the inspection they could do on the brakes, suspension, exhaust, hoses, headlamps and a lot more for only $22. (well, 21.99 to be exact.) This has been the best tire experience Ive ever had at an establishment, better than Big O, Les Swabb, and any other cheap tire shop! I would be surprised if Johnathan owened and operated his own firestone in the near future! Ill be back when I need service for my cars. read more

Came in for an alignment check due to all the suspension I had changed. Service was fast and quick like it should be. Receptionist was very nice and informative so things processed very smoothly. Minus 2 stars because they said I need a radiator flush but I just replaced the radiator the day before I brought it in for an alignment. Overall nice service and got what wanted done. read more

I always feel wary when it comes to car repairs. I really don't trust any shop to give me a truthful diagnosis, which is a shame because they could very well be honest. As a woman, I feel like service technicians are trying to pull a fast one because they think I don't know what they're talking about. News flash! Some women know!! Anyway, I was given a diagnosis by the Nissan dealer near my home that I needed 2 new control arms a while back. Fast forward to last week. Went in for an oil change and now they tell me my right control arm needs replacement. So, which is it...the right or both arms need replacement?! I told them, I'm not getting either one replaced until I get another opinion. Took my car to Firestone on Stockton Blvd. Ken helped me every step of the way. He showed me what the control arms are, what they do and even took me in the shop to show me a car that had gotten one replaced. They did an inspection and determined that it was indeed my control arms but I only needed one arm replaced. Saved me almost $500! This shop is awesome! Ken is the best and I really appreciated the time he took to explain everything to me and I actually left there feeling like I had not been taken advantage of and that is a good feeling! read more

This is the better Firestones in Sacramento, better service, friendly, responsible! I have a lifetime warrantee on alignment service, and went to the shop at orchard loop in Elk Grove location. This guy from the reception refused to help me do the alignment even tho I booked my appointment and came as the first customer at 7am when they open. He gave me stupid excuses, saying your car can not do much align, and told me it would take about 5 hours to finish because they have plenty customers ahead of me. Really? I swear only saw one employee vehicles parked next to the shop. He is so unprofessional and made me disappointed their quality of service. Business is all about honesty and reliable ... So I gave up argue with this stubborn dude ( he does not give a Sxxx anyway) and I went to different location in Stockton location. Believe it or not, workers in here is oppositely difference, being positive, listen to the customers. The Mechanist who helped me out today is Vex or Van, don't really remember his name. I just want to say thank you and appreciate your help. Another guy gets the credit is Jon the receptionist, he knows everything and great customer service. Lets forget about all the negative aspect in Orchard Loop, I moved on. Even though I live closed to the Firestones in Elk Grove but I 100% recommend go to the one in Stockton blvd, save yourself sometimes to handle negative attitude or lies from their workers. read more
