Took my car here 2 different times. The first time i left my car here for a whole day and nothing was serviced. The second day I dropped the car off for 5 hours and when I got there they didn't even check the car out. I was here for an oil change and that was it. Place is really busy, really slow, and really unprofessional. I would save the money and go somewhere else. I bought a used 1993 Honda Accord from a friend and took it for an oil change and to run some tests on it. After 30 minutes of them having my car I get a call saying they cannot do anything with it for liability reasons. Beyond frustrated for wasting my time when they assured they could work on the car, they tell me that there is now an oil leak. To emphasize why I am so upset: there was NO LEAK before taking it in. The worker was more concentrated on trying to sell me a credit card through their company then seeing what's wrong with my car. Fast forward to a week later, I go to another company. They call me asking if I had an oil change recently to which I responded saying no, but I was supposed to at firestone but they told me they would not do one. And they tell me it appeared someone tried to take the filter off of the car using the WRONG TOOLS and puncturing it. How else would that have happened? How did a leak appear after there supposedly was not an oil change completed for "liability reasons"? Never going to firestone ever again. I've heard on countless occasions of this occurring, new problems after a visit. I requested to be contacted by corporate after filing a complaint. Never got a response. I would avoid this location at all costs. Their lack of customer service and blatant disrespect of customers is off the chart! Sorry, this is a long review. I read online that Firestone offers AC services. There were no stipulations mentioned online. I arrived after I got off work, roughly 4ish. There was no employee to greet me, which fine, no big deal. I waited for about 5 minutes and then another customer walked in and lined up behind me. Mind you, there is a bell on the entrance door so you can hear customers go in and out the door. Still no one came to help us. A couple of what I think were techs came in from the garage, not a single one acknowledged that there were 2 customers standing at the counter waiting to be helped. About 10 minutes went by, and another customer walks in and lines up behind us. STILL, NO ONE COMES OUT TO HELP US. Finally one of the techs walks back in and I said "excuse me, is there someone that can help us? We have been waiting here for about 15 minutes." The tech said "uhhhhh, yeah" then he turned around and hollered someone's name and said "you have customers". The tech then looked at me and said "He's going to be a few more minutes" and then walked out to the garage leaving 3 customers standing there. Finally, a young guy comes out of the bathroom. He doesn't apologize for the wait or anything, he just says "what do you need today". I explained that I needed my AC recharged. He immediately cuts in and says "it's way too late for that". I asked what he meant and he said "we don't have techs here that late that can do that" I said "okay, can I schedule something?" And he said "um sure, what time do you want to schedule, you tell me." I said "sounds like it's not an open schedule since you are telling me there is no tech available, why don't you tell me when." He said "um okay, tomorrow (Thursday) at 1pm" I said "that doesn't work, I have work until 4, is there some time available after that?" He just said "um no, like I said there is no techs here this late to do that." Doesn't offer any other help. Frustrated at my experience, I said never mind I'll take me services elsewhere. The next customer was there for the exact same reason and ended up just walking out too. Look, I get if you need to go use the bathroom. Please do. But if you are going to be in there for a while, you need to get someone that can cover for you. As a customer service business, you rely on customers, and this was just terrible customer service. I will never visit this location, and maybe any of the locations, because of this experience. I will also be sharing this with everyone I know to try to save them the same frustration. read more

Firestone has a deal that if you apply you get a free oil change and it truly came in handy. Nate greeted me with a warm smile and a realistic time frame. Definitely a comfortable and clean shop plenty of seating and outlets even complimentary chargers of all sorts. What made my experience great to outstanding is Chef went out his way to put on my brand new plates and tags. I will be back and recommend anyone who asks. I know the other reviewers say they were sloppy/ lazy on the inspection but $9 u can't lose. With any car shop you want MULTIPLE opinions anyway. read more

I tried to have a flat tire repaired here and had problems with the online appt scheduling through Firestone's website. I would recommend calling in if you need an appt When I showed up at the time booked online, the tech at Firestone could not find it at all and acknowledged that online appts had issues. The tech said they were completely booked and there was a two hour wait for them to squeeze me in. I went to another tire repair company to have my tire replaced, and then went back to this Firestone location and thanks to the manager Darren was able to get a $150 refund towards the replacement tire costs. So in the end, Firestone honored the road hazard warranty and reimbursed me. I was happy with the service from the managers, but found the online scheduling and in-store tech who helped me when I first went in needs some improvement. read more

On 20/25/21 I go to Firestone on Madison Ave. I make an appointment for 10/28/21 at 9 am to have my tires replaced. I wanted to make sure they had in stock what I needed. At 1115 they tell me they put the wrong tires on, the ones they had ordered were to large. So I couldn't wait all day for them to figure this out and they did say maybe tomorrow we will get them. So I have them put the old ones back on so I can continue my day. They didn't like this either? The attitude? Long time Firestone customer, no more. read more

We broke the tire rod of our Toyota Prius Hybrid car and unaware what to do we contacted Firestone. They were so kind to us to allow our car to be towed in their lot after hours. Next thing, the next day I went in to sign the car in and have them evaluate and give us a feedback if they could fix it or not and what the price would be. They were fast evaluating and got back to us within appropriate time. They were upfront honest that they couldn't do it and the car rather needed to go to a body shop. 2 months ago they fixed a flat, nail in my tire. I returned the car/tire 2 times saying it keeps going flat. They checked it both times and said "the tire was fine, no leaks." Today I took it back, but was told they were "too busy," to look at it. Every week I put air in the tire, until today I took it to Sam's Club and they showed me the "patch." It was the worst patch job they had ever seen, and repaired it and had to balance the front two tires. I will never go to Firestone again, they aren't honest.I drive approx 150 miles a week for work, and if Sam's club hadn't fixed my tire, I could have been in danger. read more

After I arrange my an Uber the guy walks out and tells me his tech can't align my truck today. Aside from that, the guy couldn't have cared less. So I recently moved to the area. Loved taking my car to the Hayward (bay area) location, would never take my car to the Brentwood location. So figured it was hit or miss and see how well this one was. It's the closest one to my house. First off I will note that I am a girl that helps her dad and boyfriend work on cars. My boyfriend and I just fixed my brakes and roters, saving some money. (a 30/60 dollar part and an easy 30 minute job) But I was being lazy and took it in for an oil change. I drive a SUV which is 10 years or older so I knew I needed the more high grade oil. $66 dollars later plus a mail in rebate for $10.00 plus a survey for $25.00 off my next visit. - Not too shabby. Customer service was amazing from what I witnessed, did NOT treat any ladies like they didn't know anything about cars. (much appreciated) My car was done in a timely fashion the only thing I deduct a star for was instead of helping the walk ins right away, they should have made them wait until they rang me out, get me out of the way to make room for new customers in a way. My car sat and waited till I paid for at least 20-30 minutes after it was done. Didn't make a big deal because they were helping people so it's not like the place was empty and I still had to wait but they could have told a walk in to wait 20 minutes so they can ring me up and send me on my way before asking what they needed. Other then that, I will be back next month for a brake fluid flush, tire alignment (which if still offered everyone should get the lifetime alignment) and new tires. read more

Came in for an alignment, they said there wasn't much to adjust that , my car wouldn't be able to be fully aligned .. lady said I wouldn't have to pay and then called me back and said since her tech did the best they could I'd still have to pay full price. If a job is not 100% to satisfaction should you have to pay full price ? When I literally saw a girl in front of me get her diagnostic fee removed because she didn't wanna pay it, clearly heard the gentleman helping her ask the lady that was helping me if she told the customer about the fee she said yes but to just remove it .. any shop is going to run a diagnostic test before touching/repairing anything.. woulda liked half off for it only being half way fixed, smh read more

Honestly I'm extremely disappointed. I had gone into this Firestone several times within the last couple of months. I requested my wheels be balanced and an alignment. I had to continuously go back in for a rebalance. The time before last I was told I needed a new battery and that my rack and pin where leaking and going out. I got the new battery and held off on my rack and pin bc I have a warranty on my car that covers it so I wouldn't have to pay the 1800 they quoted me at Firestone. I then went in this last weekend for a new tire, and a wheel balancing. Again. Then three days ago my car goes out. Won't start. Won't jump. I had to get it towed and taken to a shop within my warranty. They ran a full diagnostic on the car. (Mind you my warranty doesn't cover towing and repair for battery issues). I get a call from the shop telling me that the battery was faulty, some wires had been intentionally compromised, the battery was corroded (got the "new" battery in may) and that my car was balanced incorrectly. Also my rack and pin was totally fine. The shop then said that if they had checked when I complained about the shaking the first time they would have seen that my rotors had been warped. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated, I was out a car for two days, had to pay to get the battery fixed, and this whole ordeal caused me to miss 2 days of work as well. Literally never taking my car back into Firestone ever again. It was really upsetting because the team at Firestone makes you feel like they're really doing good by you and seem really honest when really they just want your money and don't care about your safety. read more

This place takes forever even with an appointment. The Firestone in Rancho Cordova is quicker and their technicians are much friendlier. After waiting 2 1/2 hours (no exaggeration) for an oil change, alignment and tire rotation, the technician (CJ) ended up not charging me the $20 for the rotation which was a nice gesture. I still think the customer service is better at the location I mentioned above, but I'm willing to come back due to the convenient location. read more

I took my sisters Jeep here to get it serviced and James and I believe the other gentlemans name was show(sp?) were both very helpful I wasn't in a rush at all but they kept in contact about if they needed it longer if a wrong part came in etc James was very helpful when I talked to him about my other two cars and I will be bringing them in to this location. I've taken all my vehicles to firestone over the years just a different location had a few issues here and there but they have made sure to make it right! WOW!!! What can I say!! This place has the best customer service hands down. I was in desperate need of a new car battery and at the end of my rope trying to find one AND a place who can install it. The store manager immediately put me at ease by saying she would take of it. Stopped in to get an oil change for the 19.99 price the sign holder outside was waving around. But they were WAY to packed for me to wait for one.. it was around 3pm at the time so I decided to just schedule one for the next day at 8am so I'm the first customer of the day. When I arrived in the morning I was greeted very nicely and promtly. And she was taken back for an oil change and inspection. Here's my complaint- as I sat there waiting to get my oil change I heard several other customers being offered the free inspection for their cars. I was never offered a free inspection, instead he told me the inspection was $10. I am not too sure what I paid for if everyone else received the same service for free. Even though it was just $10 I still feel ripped off. It wouldn't of been an issue if I wasn't sitting in hearing distance of the other appointments. During the inspection they found my brakes were very low so I agreed to have the 2 front pads changed which was $100. A little much I feel like. I know we pay more here for "the name brand service" I was already there and it was my only day off so why not. Took almost 3 hours to complete which was outrageous because it takes my dad less than an hour. Good service but bad prices. read more

My car was pulling hard to the right and after talking to my dad (who is a mechanic) he recommended I get an alignment and rotate my tires because my back tires had more tread than my front two. I purchased the lifetime alignment and an inspection which included the tire rotation. I scheduled an appointment on Saturday and called to see if they could squeeze me in a day early. The gentleman was kind and found time for me. I brought my car in, dropped it off, came back about 2 hours later. My dad was with me and wanted to see how much they had to adjust the alignment. My dad pointed out that it was a minimal change. Firestone employees explained that it could be my tires that've causing the car to pull to the right. They made multiple recommendations which we thought was nice. Only negative part about my experience is that they didn't rotate my tires. The employee explained that it's their companies policy that once a tread is at a certain low they can't touch the tires. While it was frustrating to hear it's also understanding. All and all I was pleased with the service my car received and once I purchase new tires I'll be back for another alignment. Thank you to the guys at Firestone! read more

This is my first and LAST visit. A few bubbles appeared on the left side set of tires on my vehicle. When visiting their organization I was told the bubbles on the side of the tires are my fault even though the bubbles are completely in different spots and not in one line and one bubble appeared a few weeks later after another. I have 70,000 mile warranty on the tires and only put on 15-20K miles on them. Poor customer service from Firestone. My wife set an appointment for 11:00 for new tires. She arranged this time because she had to bring 3 kids with her and work around the youngest's nap time. At 12:45 they call saying that they can't find the wheel lock. Seriously? They hadn't touched the car in an hour and forty-five min. Why would we make an appointment if it's not going to honored? It's my fault for not having the wheel lock, but a little communication would be nice so our time is not wasted. We should have known by 11:15 that the wheel lock was missing. I took my car their to have the a/c charged and checked. they not only failed to find the problem but when I got my car back the service light was on because they broke a relay when they were checking it. I paid an extra 120$ to have the a/c electrical system checked on their advice and they failed to find anything and wanted to charge me 60$ to fix the relay (I bought one at autozone for 20$). I took my car to a real mechanic and got it fixed for 60$ nothing electrical wrong at all read more

Good work and great service from Ricky despite how busy they are. I came in for an oil change and asked for a visual inspection on the brakes. They ended up giving me a full inspection for free and were able to resurface the rotors and change the pads for a good rate. I got out at less than $175 for the brake job and the oil change which is hard to beat. read more

I get there, I was helped by a man name Ken. We went in for an oil change. Waiting for the oil change inside, they informed a lady that she had a nail in her tire and it was too close to the rim and it would have to be replaced, and offered her a promotion they were having for tires. When my car was finally finished they told me the same thing. I thought it was very unlikely that both of us had it, I went up to the man an explained to him that this seemed very shady and sometimes it "just happens." More inept service done by this absolutely shady store. My now fiancée took her car in to get a tire repaired. She took it in at closing time on Saturday April 24. Thinking they wouldn't serve her because it was a few minutes past closing, she was going to leave her car in front and bring back the keys in the morning. A service tech came and told her he would take the car, put it in the back, behind a locked gate, and look at it first thing in the morning. She handed the keys over then remembered she needed to get a few things out of the car. He unlocked the car for her, she got her things, and she left. A friend of hers, the person that picked her up when she dropped the car off, was driving by the store at around 11pm Saturday night and saw Her car still out in front of the store. She called my fiancée to tell her and we went there to check to see if the service tech had at least locked the doors. HE DID NOT LOCK THE DOORS!!! She only has one key and alarm clicker for her car at the moment so we could not lock the doors without setting off the alarm when we shut the door. We locked the doors and shut the door setting off the alarm and left. When she came back in the morning she asked why her car was not put in the back, as promised. The tech that took her keys said the gate was locked. She asked why he did not at least lock the doors. He then tried to talk his way out of it saying that the doors were locked. She reminded him that he unlocked the doors to let her get some things out of the car, and he said "Oh yeah". she was understandably upset and he got an attitude with her and said "Well what do you want me to do about it". How about you have some accountability! How about you have some empathy with someone who's car would have been broken into at the least, or stolen outright had she not come back to lock the doors herself. He left a customers car unlocked in the front of the store, on Madison and Auburn! She went back to get her car worked on there after they tried to rip her off before. We wont be giving Firestone another chance to screw us again. Everyone out there should stay away from this store. They will either rip you off or treat your car like trash. read more

I've gone to this place to change my oil twice. The workers are always very friendly. Oil change takes about 40 minutes and is around $27 depending on the type of oil you want. Good service, and friendly workers. 5 stars. read more
