My boyfriend reviewed Firestone for me but it got filtered.. (Dan M.) I came here to get my oil change with my newborn baby back in October. I had an appointment for 12:00. They took my car in right away while I waited in the seating area with my son. 45 minutes later, someone came up to me saying they ran out of my oil and had to run to the store to get some. Okay fine.... Then 30 minutes after that, the same man approached me saying that my oil drain plug was broken "from the previous time i had my oil changed'. Yeah right! Odds are they broke it and now were 'complimentary fixing it' for me. Well, they didnt have the correct size. So they went to the store to buy one. Came back. It didnt fit... Went to the Dodge dealership to get another size.. That one did fit.. So they rethreaded the broken one... That worked apparently. Over all this took over 3 hours! My son had to eat and my breasts were engorged with milk since I wasnt able to feed/pump for so long... I caved and just asked for some warm water to formula feed him instead of whipping out my boob in front of all the men that work there.... So that made me pissed. My phone was dead since I was there so long, I couldn't even call for a ride to take my little one home. As a new mother, what should have been a 30-45 minute outting, turning into 3+ hours was VERY irritating.... I just wanted my oil changed asap since my oil light had came one, and I wanted my car running in the best condition so my little one... But it turned into a nightmare.... And after all of that i STILL had to pay the $3.00 oil disposal fee... NOT COOL! read more

Becareful when going here, they lied to my wife telling her she needed a higher grade oil for her car that she didnt need.....they said it was required and cost double what we normaly pay. read more

Called and asked if I could scoot in for a tire rotation and told them I'd be there about an hour before they close, they said "sure". Mind you, this was 4:15 pm when I called. Hit traffic, got there at 5:30. They denied me saying they are all cleaned up and ready to go. I expressed that I'm driving to Long Beach tonight and I'd tip the dude $50, I payed a bunch of extra money for their stupid elite service, or whatever; still denied. I even explained how my tire is kinda wobbling. I'm nowhere near home. This place sucks. These dudes are closing shop 30 minutes early. Not cool. read more

I started coming here after the Firestone on Marconi tried to scam me. (you can see my review posted there). This place is great the employees are friendly and it's like a completely different store compared to the one on Marconi. These employees seem more knowledgeable too (go figure). The earlier you come in the faster you'll be out of there. Setting an appointment will help with waiting time. The coffee/water, furniture, and tv are great. Helps the time fly by. read more

Went here to have all 4 tires replaced on my '13 Civic Hybrid (I do a lot of driving). They also did an alignment. Shortly afterwards I noticed my car swaying on the highway an unusual amount. Upon going back in I was told the front new tires were defective and would need replacing. However the car was still pulling, so I brought it back in again. I was told again it was the tires, so I was switched to another model of tire. It was still pulling! I had another alignment done at the Watt Avenue Firestone, which at that point proved to be way off. However the car fell out of alignment AGAIN after driving a night route from Vacaville to Salinas (I work as a courier). Basically, this shop botched an alignment and tried blaming it on the tires. Still giving an extra star since they did work after the first time free of charge (that's a policy with Firestone), and they were friendly. read more

I am from our of town. Knew I would be in town and made an appointment on line for an oil change. My appointment time was good (car taken within 15 minutes of appointment time). I received honest communication of what my car needed according to vehicle's manufacturers ideas. Got the tires rotated and coolant system flushed. Had alignment checked and didn't need any service there. Got to use some online discounts. I feel my car is being kept safe without the crazy costs the dealership charges. Mike and Joe advised me honestly with the cars needs. I hope their replacements keep up with integrity to keep customers happy and not broke while keeping their car safe. read more

This place is awesome! I called them on short notice, after Pep Boys never showed up for my 8:00 am appointment. All the lights were off and no one was there; I waited for about 15 minutes. Anyway, Nicole at Firestone told me to head on over and my car was serviced immediately. I am very pleased. I changed out a tie rod end on my car and am in need of an alignment due to that fact. I asked for a price quote and Donovan told me that they would first need an unrefundable $20 to "inspect" my suspension which would go towards the overpriced alignment if they do actually perform it. I do all of my own work on my car and just need an alignment not an inspection (I knowingly need the alignment only due to the replacement of the ball joint and am fully aware of this). I was quoted $110 for an alignment or $179.99 for a "lifetime alignment". Besides the fact that their prices are grossly high, their practices are super shady when it comes to alignments. I can't speak to any of their other services. I now have an appointment tomorrow with the Chevy dealership to have my alignment done for $89.99 and I know that it will most definitely be done properly. My advice? Try the dealership or literally ANY other place in town and you WILL get a better deal than you would here. Unless of course you like getting ripped off and taken advantage of, then this is most definitely the place for you. read more

I recently took my car for some minor sensor work and was impressed by the professionalism of the staff. At first I was told a 3 hr wait for a diagnostic but got out in under 2 I was able to use a coupon for the service even though it didn't really spell out that it was for the service I was getting (nice manager ) But what I was most impressed with was how another customer was treated. Elderly woman. Her bill turned out to be $400. Obviously, she was not expecting it to be that high. She got worried and tearful. The manager patted her shoulder, told her not to worry and that they would work something out He came back and asked her if she could pay a nominal amount towards the work (I think it was around $75) and the relief in her eyes told the story They didn't have to do that and they were kind and I'm definitely becoming a customer. I am editing my previous review, car was overheating they claimed to have fixed it which they did not. After posting my previous 1 star review, corporate quickly contacted me and made me a much, much happier customer! They had the manager credit for previous work that did not fix the problem. This is what I thought would happen when returning 3 days after servicing my car. Only reason I don't give a 5 star is the manager made some snide comments of how he clearly explained what was going on... He said they must have missed the hose leak... We had a flat tire on our way to Sacramento. My husband did a fix it flat, but the tire was simply done! We saw a Firestone Complete Auto Care right across the street; by this time it was already 7:22p and they closed at 7p. We drove over there and there was a still a rep his name is Donvan. He went above and beyond to help us, stayed late, replaced our tire, and did not leave until we were safe to get back on the road. I have had 2 different experiences with Firestone Complete Auto Care; in Tracy, CA and now Sacramento. I have been a faithful customer ever since and will continue to use them for my auto care needs. read more

I took my car here about a week ago to have the brakes checked. The customer service was great. I was helped by a nice african american gentleman (I believe his name is Ty but I am not sure) who was so friendly and personable. I came back to have something else checked and unfortunately didn't have a ride so we would've had to wait for my car to be finished or we would have had to walk home, but he offered to drive us back to our apartments so we wouldn't have to wait in the lobby. It was a small act of kindness but it really shows a lot about Firestone and their customer service. Additionally - even though I am a 20 year old girl who knows nothing about cars - Ty was completely honest and didn't try to finesse me into purchasing services that I didn't need. The whole experience was very reassuring and it was nice to be able to have a friendly conversation with him and know that my car was in good hands. Thank you! read more

Well I became a regular! LoL took my own car in. It was in need of some light maintenance. Just like the first time this group of gentlemen were knowledgeable, friendly, & efficient! I waited in the Lil waiting area and as I did I listened to the Firestone gentlemen deal with other customers. I was so surprised about the patience,courtesy and respect that each of them have for thier customers. That's nice to see. I would love to see more of that in more service industry offices. Anyway.... I was in and out in no time and they were as friendly and professional as the first time! I'm hooked... I'll never go anywhere else! read more

LADIES BEWARE!!! Do not go here. I will admit I do not know much about cars but I do have a pretty good idea about when someone is trying to take advantage of me. So I had gone in here a few weeks ago planning on replacing my brakes. I made an appointment and like most places they had to do an inspection, however even with my appointment it took them an hour just to begin the inspection. 45 mins after the inspection they told my front and brake pads needed to be replaced, plus my front rotors and back drums needed to be replaced. unfortunately, I really didn't know whether that was true or not and since I have gone to (different) Firestones prior I thought that I could take there word. However when they told me it was going to cost $700 and that was with a $200 discount, I thought I needed to speak to someone who knew more about brakes. Later that day after speaking to someone who knew brakes I was informed that they only needed to be resurfaced. I then called Firestone back and questioned there inspection and asked whether of not it needed to be done or if it was just a suggested service. I was told that they absolutely needed to be replaced. The next day I went to Pep Boys with someone who knew brakes and I was told that my rotors and drums were fine that they really only needed to be resurfaced. Pepboys resurfaced my rotors, and drums, replaced my back brakes (because my front ones which they let me examine were still 60%) and did a brake fluid exchange all for $240. Needless to say I may have at one time been a fan of Firestone but due to my latest experience I will never return! read more

Girlfriend went in there for a routine oil change with her 4day old baby figuring it would take less then 30min since she had a appointment. 3 and a half hours later she was finally able to leave! One star is being generous! I would stear clear of this place if I were you....I have 2 more ool changes from there but i would rather pay and go elsewhere. read more

I have been buying all my tires at Firestone for over 20 years. I recently went to a different location and wasn't satisfied with the customer service there. I went back to the Madison/Auburn location and the customer service was outstanding as in the past. Ricky and his crew really go out of there way to give TOP NOTCH customer service and satisfaction. I am very pleased with my experience here. My car needed a new battery. After researching batteries in Consumers Reports, I chose the Interstate Megatron II, which is the battery Firestone carries. I called and talked to a friendly and helpful "front desk" person who informed me that they had it in stock and could install it right away. I pulled a "Firestone Quote" off the internet (battery and installation for $115) and drove in. Within 20 minutes, the battery had been installed, and a free 14 point check had been performed on the car. Most surprisingly, they found nothing wrong with the vehicle nor did they try to sell me any other services. You probably know how most places always seem to find this or that that you had better get done or your car will blow up. Not here, I'm pleased to say. The technician even fixed a sticky power window switch, which had been bugging me for months - free of charge and without mentioning it. Anyway, as I was leaving, the technician had stepped around the corner to help a stranded lady get into her running car in which she had accidentally locked her keys - free of charge, I might add. The facility is clean, comfortable and roomy, though access can be a bit challenging due to the heavy traffic at this intersection. I'll be going back. read more

This repair shop is one of the slowest I have come across and that is saying quite a lot as car repair in general tends to be a lengthy process. I have take my car here for years for a variety of reasons and their service has been getting more and more poor. Friday I dropped my car off to be re serviced since the $900 worth of service they completed two weeks ago, did not fix the problem. It is Sunday and they haven't even looked at the car despite me telling them I needed it by today. It has been sitting in their shop for the last two full days and I rented a car so that I was able to go to work since I only have one car. Now I am going to be out the price of the rental for the weekend and most likely a few days next week since they seem to be unable to get their act together and actually fix the problem I brought it in for 2 weeks ago. I am beyond frustrated and will probably never go back. read more

What can I say, these guys are awesome and have the best customer service ever!!! My fiance and I came in on a blazing hot Sunday afternoon in late June because my car was acting up and I needed to get on the road for a business trip out of town. Aaron got me right in and the guys did the best they could with my car but it was beyond their repair and they admitted it. I had to rent a car but I told Aaron that I would be back in two days because there was no way I could cancel my business trip and my fiance's car could not make that long drive either. Aaron asked one of the technicians to give us a lift home which was only 10 minutes away by car but an hour by walking. It was also over 100 degrees outside and my car was inoperable so the technician so graciously did. He was a real nice young man! Aaron allowed me to leave my car in their garage until I could have the tow truck take it to another place to be fixed. Aaron went out of his way to call another reputable shop that does the type of work that I needed and helped me make the arrangements. He spoke with my fiance when I asked him to and always explained things correctly and didn't mention price unless we asked. I came back to Firestone after two days as promised and had my car towed to the shop that Aaron recommended. Unfortunately my car had more issues than I imagined so I wasn't able to get my car fixed at the place that Aaron recommended but had I not had other extinuating circumstances I would've gotten it done there. My car is running beautifully and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely come here again for service. Thank you Aaron and the crew at this Firestone. You guys have restored a little bit of my confidence back in auto repair shops. read more
