Went to this Jiffy Lube on September 24th last year. As they were working I could hear the technician working under my hood ask if he had drained the oil. He said it didn't seem like it. He was assured it was done. Driving the 80 miles to home my car died. Turns out that they had drastically overfilled the oil, ruining my motor. They tried to just change the oil, but oil had damaged my pistons. The motor had to be replaced. I have photos and the assessment of two different techs who looked at the car. I have sought to contact the store and the district manager multiple times. Was told it would go to corporate who would answer. No one has. Recently I have called the store asking for the district manager's name and number. They "Don't Have It" but will get back with me. No return call. No help. I still have 7,000 in repairs that should be paid for. Any help would be appreciated. read more

Took too long, over an hour and a half. Didn't have the oil needed to do the transmission flush. Under staffed and not efficient.

Always fast, they know me and my cars. They can handle more issues than I thought. Like these guys.

I called this location to see if there was a wait and was told there wasn't. When I showed up 5 minutes the gentleman told me he couldn't do the oil change since the compressor was broke. Not sure why he didn't tell me this on the phone moments before. I drove to a different Jiffy lube location and they informed me the compressor just makes it so they don't have to go down to drain the oil manually and they easily could have still done my oil change. read more

Took my Honda Odyssey in over this past weekend for an oil change and additional services. Now the dash is detecting random crash and front sensor problems. I think this stems from the service manager trying to put the air filter in and putting his weight on the front panel. This van has never been in an accident. Now I need to take it to the dealership to and who knows what that will cost. read more

Manager is awful to his employees. He yells, curses, and short to everyone that works there. If it weren't for him, this would be a good place. The girl is always really nice that checks me in and my youngest loves talking to her while waiting for our oil change. One of the guys that changed my oil is polite as well. I get sick and tired of hearing the manager be so rude to everyone though. He doesn't care if customers are right there, he's just an ass and everyone that works there deserves to be treated better. I've had my oil changed here for a few years. The personnel has changed a little but it's always been a good experience. The last few times I've gone the same young lady checks me in, reviews my account, etc. and is fantastic. She's professionally friendly and efficient. Her name is Lauren. Go here if you're in the Rock Hill, Brentwood, Kirkwood area or find yourself in the area. Nobody tried to sell me anything extra and they gave me a discount for "the wait". I was in need of a VERY last minute oil change before taking my car on its second 7 hour long road trip in the span of a month. I called a couple Dobbs locations and went to the Jiffy Lube in Maplewood only to find that everyone else in the Metro area was also trying to procure a hasty oil change. I called this Jiffy Lube, was told they could service my car in 15 minutes (if no one else came in before me), and that they'd have me in and out in 20 minutes. I was pretty skeptical that things would actually work out that well for me, so when they actually delivered on each of their promises, I was so extremely pleased! I pulled up, hopped out of my car, handed over the keys, and chose a standard oil change. They also checked all of my tires and some sort of filter (I know NOTHING about cars). I waited for about 20 minutes while they worked on my car, paid the $29.00, and was back home packing 5 minutes later. They didn't talk down to me, they didn't try to tell me that everything was practically falling off of my car and that they could fix it for a small fee of $1,500, and the staff couldn't have been any nicer. First time coming here for an oil change but I feel like I need to write a review because I have received an excellent service. I came in a little after 1pm and they had nobody in there. The guy opened the door for me (always a nice and highly appreciated gesture!) and asked if I just needed an oil change, took my keys and got to it right away. I sat down and waited for someone to come and talk to me about what type of oil, etc. My car has only had one oil change since I bought it and that was from the dealership so I had no clue but the guy came in and talked to me about the recommended oil, the mileage in between oil change, all the good stuff. Then a little while later, he came back and asked me if I wanted them to do an emission test. Not sure how the rules work in Missouri as this is my very first car registered in the state (so, fine let's get that done, too) but he mentioned something about my license plate expiring this month. OK... I did not know that! I panicked a little inside my head since it's already the middle of December but I am grateful for him mentioning that detail. I did not even know they counted the time I had the car on the temporary plates before I registered it officially. Overall, the service was fantastic and a huge thank-you for mentioning my expiring plates. I would have been driving around an unregistered vehicle without even realizing it. I do keep track of when my plates expire (even though I never physically check the sticker) but with that bit of confusion, I had the date down for the actual registration, not the date of purchase. As far as the oil change, they did a great job and even vacuumed my car. Terrific! read more

Took my car in for an oil change, and was taken care of in about 45 minutes. The tech didn't ask what I wanted, other than an oil change. I normally go to a local mechanic, and pay about $55 for synthetic oil and filter, but I was in a hurry, and it was convenient. The cost ended up being $95! I guess I was upgraded to a premium package without my consent. Two days later there are two spots of oil on my garage floor (2017 4Runner, with no previous oil leaks). Take it to the first JL I can find, and they tell me that I have leaks at the filter and the drain plug, and no "warranty seal" was used when the oil was changed. An hour later, and a lot of people under my car and under the hood, they tell me I won't be charged, and everything is fixed. They tell me that the GM of the other store will call me to make things right for my aggravation. Never got a call. read more
