For anyone reading this, i want you to know this is literally my first review i ever done. I felt so wronged by Firestone that I downloaded Yelp cause i thought people should know before they go forward with this store. I went in to take my car to patch up one of the tires since a screw managed to get into it. When I got there, they said it would take up to 3 hours, and to be fair, if they're busy that's understandable. So three hours later, I get a call where they stated that the technician won't be able to patch the tire because it is too damaged and they will need to replace the tire. At that point they were already offering a tire that was $250 compared to getting a patch up worth $25. I told them no and that I would come back if I changed my mind. I took my car to another tire shop I was recommended, where they were able to see that the my tire was completely capable of getting patched. I witness them fixing the tire and everything was done within 15 minutes. The tires on my car was less than a year old and looked/drove perfect, for $15. So all I know is these guys at Firestone either really unqualified or they're lazy and trying to make money by lying to their customers, which I have been for years now. Can't pick 0 stars or I would. The second I told them I their estimate was ridiculously overpriced I was told there's suddenly a storage fee, like I want my vehicle at this awful place with horrible customer service. Definitely avoid these con artists and pick a more reliable technician for your repairs/maintenance. Was skeptical of what service I was going to receive after seeing previous reviews and others on google, but to my surprise my experience at firestone was great! Came in only for an alignment (decided to go with the lifetime) and was told there was a four hour wait. Mind you, this was a Saturday and I had no appointment. I said no worries, let me just set up an appointment for another day - then the person assisting me, Renel (who i later found out was the store manager) asked the staff in the shop what was on their plate and all other customers we completing brakes, oil changes and other more complex jobs and he would be able to get me out within an hour. I agreed to wait and was out of there in 45 minutes! Renel has a great attitude and hoping my next visit will be the same. read more

I've always had good experiences at this Firestone location. Unfortunately, today was a completely terrible exception to every other time. I had a 10am appointment to put four new tires on and do a wheel alignment. At 1pm, I called to check the status as I was not expecting the vehicle to be out if commission all day. The sales advisor told me the vehicle would be done in 45 minutes. I gave them an hour to be safe and arrived at 2:30pm, but when I arrived the car didn't even have tires on it. The sales advisor apologized but blamed the service tech and stated it would only be another 20 minutes. After 30 minutes, the sales advisor asked if he could ring me up b/c the vehicle was ready. I said okay even though it was visibly not off the rack. I asked if the wheel alignment had been completed, he stated it had so I asked for the print out. He told me he'd get it for me. It has now been over an hour since I've paid and the car is just now getting the alignment. Definitely disappointed. read more

Worst customer service I've experienced. I left my car there in December and they did a bandaid repair with the wrong part. Brought it in today in March and they were back peddling and apologizing they did so and covered that repair. I took my car this morning to my dealer for a diagnostic as a second opinion and they confirmed my suspicions that Firestone put in a bad part. Went to Firestone and they did a repair on my car without my authorization and tried to charge me for it! Crooks, liars, and thieves work here. Stay away! read more

Yesterday I needed a tire for my car at 3 pm. The store was out of stock. The manager got involved located the tire and I put the wheel back on my car by 5 pm. I really appreciated what the manager did for me. He went beyond what most folks would be willing to do because of the tight time frame we were working with. This guy is no bs. Approximately three months ago I brought my wife's car for a new tire and was told she needed new brakes on the front. Upon taking the vehicle to the dealer I was informed that the brakes are perfectly fine. When I brought it back to Firestone the manager checked it and said they "made a mistake". On August 26, 2013, I brought my car in for a front end alignment and tire rotation. Upon picking it up I discovered that the mechanic did not touch the tires although they said it was done. When I confronted the manager he said the mechanic "overlooked it" and offered me a free oil change. Two incidents of unscrupulous business practice in the span of three months. The manager assured me "this doesn't happen anymore" since he took over although he said he found that prior to him taking over people paid for oil changes which were never performed! read more

So I drove your car to work today and the right front tire or wheel was unbalanced and shaking pretty good. I took it to Firestone and explained the problem. The manager told the guy writing it up it would be a free rebalance. The guy called me around 6 and said the car was ready. When I got there I ask what they had found, and he said 3 of the tires were out of balance. I ask him what they had found with the right front and he said nothing it was perfectly fine. Then he ask me if I wanted to pay cash or credit. I then ask why they were charging me and he said the eagles have no warranty and no free balancing. I told him that this was the first time I had driven it on the highway, and if I had test run it the day I bought the tires I would have brought it back. He says it don't matter. I said so if you didn't fix it what else can be done, and he said new springs will be needed. That's when I went off on the guy with his mechanics standing there. I brought my vehicle to your company, Firestone, 4 times regarding one issue of an overheating engine because my company utilizes you all for our repairs for our rental cars. Each time I paid for a new repair that was supposed to fix the issue, now a total valued just under $2,000. Now the engine has damage and the vehicle is non functional. I have recently gotten the vehicle checked by its manufacturer and they have stated a quick replacement of a hose valued less than $10 would have saved my engine. Thank you Firestone for the worse auto repair service possible. read more

I would give them 0 stars if it was an option. They are complete crooks and tried to take advantage of me because I don't know anything about car repairs. I also wonder if they thought they could tell me whatever because I am a woman. So when I went in they assessed my car to need a front axle repair on both the driver and passenger side. The boot on my driver side axle had a hole in it which they showed me. They also said that after they were both replaced I would need an alignment. Altogether this would cost me $1,200. I got several other opinions. Everyone else said you just need the driver's side done and of course, there is no need for an alignment, because the repair does not affect those parts. I just had it fixed this morning at University Auto Care and my total was $239. Can you believe that? Don't believe a word they say at Firestone. I believe that they are overcharging and lying to customers about what they really need. read more

Went for a simple oil change they stripped and ruined my oil pan.Drove the car home on that same day and ran the car low in oil due to their incompentency .Went to take the car out at 3pm notice my check engine light on.I did not have the check engine light before so when I got out of the car,the oil was sitting in my driveway.Now the car is shaking and came out with engine problems.Called the store manager Renel,on that same day horrible denied everything wanted to do a simple/cheap fix of putting a plug in so that next time I change the oil will have the same problem and is unacceptable since they were the one that broke the oil pan and are at fault.Renel replied he will not be crazy enough to change the oil pan,which is unacceptable since obviously they broke it there and were so irresponsible to allow me to drive the car out of there when they knew what they had done. Oil pan do not strip by themselves.He covered his behind by stating that I needed a new oil pan,when I have always and previously change my oil there and the previous statement did not stated anything about an oil pan.I could not drive the car,this people especially Renel is very misleading and a lots of lies.People make mistake but the least a big company like this could do is make it right but they will cover everything and will not honor anything. Basically you go for a simple oil change and come out with expensive engine problems. I even stated you can blow your engine and he said how is your engine going to be blown seriously!!!My car ran low in oil because you broke my oil pan and they covered it up.I had somebody come out was told it was going to be fix, and they will make it right.I stated the simple fix that Renel wanted to do was unacceptable, well they put more oil since it was leaking , it was driven and when it was there,again Renel refused to change the oil pan that they had broken instead he put the cheap plug and the garbage they did ,which the car is still leaking,with engine light on and shaking.Renel even put on the receipt to put the plug that it was a courtesy check they did that,seriuosly.This people are horrible and crooks.Called corporate and I was told by they get a lot of calls like this and it does not surprise me,they must mess up lots of engines and cover it up and on top of that not honoring anything.I called the Regional manager Bruce Morgan till this day no call back.I made a claim and it was suppose to be escalated and get a call on the same day,instead I get a called 2 days later on Friday stating that somebody will contact me in 3-5 business day.This lack of consideration and unprofessionalism from this unethical company. I do not even know why somebody will need to come out again since somebody came out and the mechanic admitted it was the pan.I have been getting a lot of run around from such a big company like this a week later after the incident.Good luck trying to get in contact with a supervisor or a boss from the store manager.I guess I am suppose to be without a car for two weeks and wait for them, this should all have been done the same day instead of ruining my engine and letting me take the car out and allowing me to run the car low in oil due to their incompentency.THIS COMPANY IS DISHONEST and horrible and will cover everything.Think twice before getting your oil change here before they blow your engine and ruin it because they will not honor anything nor make it right .The most UNETHICAL company I have dealt with and from such a big company,you should be ashamed and are a disgrace. Guy at desk is friendly but not knowledgeable. Brought my car in (by appointment) for brakes and rotors, dropped it off and left. Was told the job would take 2 hours. 4 hours later I called, someone else answered and said it looked like they were still working on my car and he would have my tech give me a call. After 2 more hours, and no call, I called again and my tech answered and said they didn't do any work on my car because I have electric calipers. I was upset that he had my car all day and didn't call. He wrote down the wrong number. (Which he should've confirmed and fixed when I dropped my car off and he couldn't pull up my appointment by my telephone number) He told me the good news is that I don't owe them anything and it's only a small inconvenience to me (of course I don't owe you anything because you didn't do anything and don't tell me the level of inconvenience you've caused me) and when I got there he was still passing the blame saying BMW should've informed me that I have electric calipers and only they could work on it. Worst place ever!!! Took my vehicle in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. Did not get the tire rotation and when I called back to inquire why it was not done, was asked "how do you know?" I stated the brake dust on the wheels indicates so. They then admitted it was not done. I took the car in the next day and they lost my door key fob and stated that I never gave it to them (indicating that I was lying) when it was confirmed by the tech the day before that I had given it to them the day before. The manager is horrible as he stated that he would get back to me which he did not. read more

Went there today to have an alignment done, after replacing all my tires & to check the car over for anything additional needed. They're honest as they only told me what I already knew of & not wanting to sell any additional work that doesn't need to be done. Other customers were there to get a 2nd opinion, they were quick, the staff gave outstanding service & I recommend this place to anyone. read more

Went to this establishment for a simple repair-my wife's car showed a code for a bad oxygen sensor and we needed to replace both of them. I asked if they could do the work and they said yes. Asked how long-no longer than 1.5 hours. I decided against the little voice in my head and let them do the work. We are from out of town, I'm having open heart surgery at Cleveland Clinic tomorrow, so it needed to be fixed so my wife will have transportation. After 4 hours they finally admitted that the upper sensor was seized in place and they couldn't get it out and do the work. By this time it was impossible to get anyone else to look at it, so we are stuck. Stay far away from this place, not even an apology. read more

This place is dishonest. Took my car in for a nail in the tire. Received a call that the tire needed replaced but also that the shocks and struts were in extremely bad shape and needed to be replaced. I was quoted a price of about $1600 for the shocks and struts. I was told that if I was going to keep the car, I needed to replace them as soon as possible. I was surprised because I take my car in for service regularly (at a different place) and they had never mentioned this being a problem. It didn't make sense that it had gotten that bad in just a few months since my last service. I decided not to replace them. A few months later, I took my car in for service at a different local garage and asked them to check everything and specifically mentioned the shocks and struts. The result: they said there was absolutely nothing wrong with them and they didn't need replacing. I will never go back to firestone again. read more

i have been going to this location a long time. ever since management changed they just care about ripping people off. i dropped off my car for a regular oil change. when they called me to let me know that my car is ready i asked what the price was and they told me $75 dollars. i asked why so much and they told me because they used synthetic oil. i assume they would ask you if you want synthetic oil instead of doing it without the customer knowing. me and my family are never using firestone again. read more

I'm very distrustful of auto repair businesses in general. But I've had good service here. I've been using them for about a year now and have been happy overall. They are not perfect, and I've had to return a vehicle when a sensor they replaced wasn't the cure to the engine light. In fairness to them, the service light could have been any 1 of 3 sensors identified by the OBDII code reader. I also understand that some problems can be difficult to identify the first time. Most. Importantly, I've not detected any cramming of unecessay services on me. I gave them a 4 since I still don't have the sensor light resolved. But I haven't pushed it with them either. read more

I got an oil change today and was informed by the mechanic that I had a nail in the left rear tire at the side and it could not be repaired. My tires are only a few months old. $178 later I had a new tire which I still wonder if I really needed it. I posted a photo of the tire with the nail on Facebook and was told by several people the tire could be repaired. Hopefully I was not scammed, but I am feeling like I was. read more

Rich the Southwest Ranches store manager is honest, courteous and understands customer service and relations.. From my observations he clearly knows how to manager and treat his technicians too, who are also courteous. I am not writing this review based on one visit but on numerous visits. I have been a patron of this store for five plus years. Prior to Rich managing this store it was good but Rich makes it great!!! I have no desire to do business with any other auto care center but this one. As an example, today I had a tire replaced which was covered under road hazard coverage.
