The bread is tasty and perfect up against all of the fresh veggies. Cobb salad is mighty. One kind of odd, quirky note - they don't have Bleu cheese dressing for the Cobb salad. They gave us as much ranch as we wanted though and you can add even more crumbles on the side, if that's your jam. Good fries as usual, very noisy but it was Friday afternoon. Fries are exceptional. The cheeseburger was less than desirable. Seemed to be missing flavor on/in the meat. That was disappointing but the fries were on point. Service was great! The manager was taking care of the floor and got our order to us which was very nice and we will return and hopefully get something that has flavor or second chance the Cheeseburger . Good sized portions, nice drinks, lots of tvs and friendly staff is a sign of a well run business. Anyone looking for a place thats accessible by freeway, and trustworthy probably should come to FG. I noticed the little things that said this was a pretty good establishment. First, they have a lot of regulars. Second, no long wait. Third, they treated everyone (including me) very well. There was no ignoring or rudeness at all. Fourth, and a big fourth. The food is big and filling. My tri-tip was a plate instead of a sandwich (keto 4 life!) and they did not skimp. We stopped here for lunch during a long drive to our camping trip. Our friend had recommended it to us. It was a welcome break, conveniently right off of the freeway, and a delicious meal! We ordered the wings to start, a Cobb salad, and a tri tip sandwich. The wings were really good and crispy, the portion of the salad was huge and the tri tip sandwich was just loaded with beef - yum! This place looks pretty ordinary, but once inside your Ole factory will be surprised by the sweet aroma of freshly fired Barbeque ribs, tri-tip... and they are deliciously smothered with some of the best barbque sauce around. Add a side of fries to that and you'll leave that place one stuffed turkey. Not sure how this place can be 4.5 stars. I first tried to determine if I should place an order at the counter or sit down and have someone take my order. There was kind of a color chart map to tell you where to sit depending on which option you chose but almost everyone just came in and ordered at the counter and sat wherever they wanted. I choice table service because I hadn't noticed this till I was there 10 minutes waiting for someone to take my order for food. Someone did come by and take my beer order but no beer list and a dozen on tap but impossible to see what they were so I got up and walked over to the bar to try and discern what they had. I ordered a Firestone double barrel ale and it was decent. Once someone took my food order, it came quickly. The place was quite loud as well with music, happy, boisterous people, and several major league sports games going on the big screens. The food was huge portions but pretty mediocre quality, except for the (chili beans which were delish)for a low price. The garlic bread for example was huge with tons of butter but no discernible garlic flavor. All in all, I guess I can understand why people like it, perhaps just not my cup of tea? read more

Beyond excited we stopped here for lunch. Pro tip: Order online for pick up. Fast and efficient. Upon entering I've never seen so many bare faces during Covid. All but maybe a handful of people had masks on. I had to think twice and decided to enjoy our food in the car. (Even the employees didn't have masks on) Ordered tri tip sandwich, tri tip cobb, fries and a kids grilled cheese. Didn't get the side of bbq sauce we requested but that's okay. Food was still delicious. Tri tip was tender, salad was garden fresh and fries were crispy. Great find! But revisit would only occur if I was passing by or in the area. read more

We love Firestone. I have been eating at the Firestone franchise since I was a young child at their Main Street Grill location in Cambria, CA. It wasn't until I was an adult that I realized how amazing their tri-tip sandwiches are though! The tri-tip is freshly cut when you order (you can literally watch them slice it) and it is placed a delicious toasted bread roll with garlic butter on it and barbecue sauce. It is truly delicious. Also, their fries are the absolute best and perfectly seasoned. They have many different sauce options for dipping, but my favorite is their 1000 island and they will give you as many as you want at no extra charge. We also love to order their burgers, salads, and the tri-tip taco. You truly cannot go wrong with whatever you order. You can either sit in the front half of the restaurant to receive waiter service, or you can sit in the back half and you order yourself at the counter. They have plenty of TV's for watching whatever sports events that are playing. It is a bit of a louder atmosphere so I probably wouldn't suggest for a romantic date night, but nonetheless it is a great spot with a lively atmosphere. We will continue to return! read more

Pre-covid, this was a great place to eat and drink while watching a sports game since there are many high quality big screen televisions. You enter the restaurant to place your food order, then you wait for your number to be called to get your food. The workers are highly attentive and will wait on you as if it were a sit down restaurant. Since the pandemic, we still come and order take out. We usually order the tri-tip sandwich with bbq sauce on the side and the southwestern salad with southwestern dressing. We aren't big fans of raw onion so we love the fact that we are able to customize the salad order. The wait is usually not long at all. read more
