USE THEM! I had gotten referred to this shop through my insurance company because my travel trailer front windshield was chipped and then cracked. My replacement glass was shipped here and received- and the appointment for replacement was booked at my convenience within a week. The entire process from dropping the trailer off to picking up took no more than two hours. My job was a priority to them which was great! There was plenty of room for a travel trailer to make its way through their shop. I was very happy with their services and their professionalism. I found this place via Yelp and opted to use them instead of safelite which was the company that USAA is contracted under. Everything was an easy process other than safelite or usaa not sending them the paperwork but igloos thing I brought the authorization info with me. So I just got my car back from first call Auto Glass and let me tell you they did an amazing job. But not just that they are very friendly. You know, nobody wants to replace the windshield and of course it's a pain in the butt but coming into the shop we felt really comfortable because the lady at the counter was very nice, attentive and even gave us some special tips. She is friendly had a good attitude was cracking some jokes and made us feel very welcome. Unlike the MANY other windshield shops I called in hopes to get my badly broken windshield fixed (before an upcoming trip so time was of the essence), he answered the phone LIVE, was easy to understand, said it would only take two hours (including re-calibrating everything since I have a heads up display on my windshield which was 2-3 times faster than his competitors!) got me in the same day (& fixed it while I waited!), and provided a fair price (that was actually below several of his competitors). I am so impressed with First Call Auto Glass. Their years of experience saved me hundreds of dollars...just from talking with them over the phone!!! My Outback was leaking water into the rear hatch so I called First Call thinking It was the rear hatch seal. Betty said it was likely the sun roof and that they only did glass and not the door seal that I thought was leaking. So I called the Subaru dealer and since they charged $350 to install a new door seal, I decided to take my garden hose and do some selective 'watering' of the roof of my Outback. Well, Betty was right...it was the sunroof. So just the telephone call to First Call saved me well over $350 as this wouldn't have fixed the problem anyway. Betty directed me to a sunroof expert, explaining that they most likely will only need to flush out the drains inside the sunroof. Thank you First Call and thank you Betty!!! read more

We've used this business twice. The first time was for a chip fill in our windshield. The second was a complete windshield replacement. Our vehicle has lane departure cameras, so there's some extra configuring that has to be done. We were in and out under four hours for the replacement. The chip repair was thirty minutes, if that. Horrible experience. I called in a few weeks ago Dillion answered and said he can make it happen. He then flakes on me for the first time saying he got super busy. Understandable it's the first time. I continue to contact him and he asks if he can come over to my garage and do it. I didn't feel comfortable so I said no. Already this is completely unprofessional. Finally on a monday he contacts me saying we can do it for saturday. Friday comes around and I contact him asking if he can still do it. No response. Until saturday morning he tells me his shop is closed all weekend. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. The shop is in fact open on the weekends. FCAG not only matched the other company they found out the other company was not legit (fraud company). When they came to fix my rear window there was a problem with my back door. I own a Jeep Liberty, a Geo Metro, and two Fiat 500s. I do a lot of driving since I live "out in the boonies." Not sure if it's me or my adorable fleet of aging vehicles, but rocks seem attracted to us like paparazzi as we travel the San Diego freeways (particularly the 15). I've had to replace the glass on every one of my cars in the last five or six years, two of them twice. I'm starting to wonder if the cars talk among themselves and they all just want a facelift at First Call! (I mean, the one Fiat *did* come from Beverly Hills...) The Geo was the first to get hit long ago, and after a bad experience with a glass shop in Temecula, I found First Call in Oceanside. I look to support local family businesses first and foremost, so they were right up my alley. The folks up front were super helpful with the claim, and the installers in back did beautiful work. The times I've taken the cars to the Oside shop, I've been in and out in less than two hours. With my most recent incident, I found out they'll even come to my house! Woohoo! I keep coming back because I've had zero issues with halos or other defects in the new glass, and I can't even tell they've touched the trim--and I assume my cars can't be easy to deal with because they're old and cranky. The cracks and dings in the glass just magically disappear, and they work directly with my State Farm insurance so there's no money out of my pocket. Everyone I've interacted with at First Call has been patient and friendly, and good customer service means a lot to me. Speaking of no money out, I'm not positive, but I believe it was one of the gals up front who recommended lowering my comprehensive insurance deductible to $0 (probably the second time I was in?) to avoid windshield replacement costs. Best advice I ever received. Turns out it's only a few dollars more per month, and clearly it's been worth it, since my cars seem to have their own definition of "rock and roll." I called the dealer and they said it would cost me $350 just for the part. Dissatisfied, I went on Yelp and found First Call and saw all they great reviews they had and decided to pull up to the shop to get their opinion (very glad I did). When I arrived, check in was easy and the nice lady at the front even asked if I wanted to use an office of theirs in back because I had mentioned I would be working from my laptop while waiting.
